Jim and Spock: Vulcan married (by accident) in that Spock's pon farr was resolved with Jim (they rolled in the sacred sands and didn't die!)

Bones and Spock: Vulcan married (also by accident) in that they have an irreversible bond after the fal-tor-pan (I think this extended his lifespan to match a Vulcan's but idk where I read that, might've just been fanon)

Jim and Bones: Human married for sure. they had Spock officiate (partly cause he's the first officer and is able to do that, and partly cause they love him and wanted him involved) and they both cried.

all three: take turns getting married in all sorts of different cultures whenever aliens want them to do their special bonding ceremony. (same post as before but it's relevant here too) Once they encountered a planet where the locals marry in threes and of course they did it. They didn't even need to for the mission but they wanted to so bad. Jim and Bones cried again and Spock smiled when nobody was looking

A whimsical memory of childhood.

Bapy Wild is about 5-6 years old around this time. When he's not playing or running off in the nearby forest, he would watch his Mum make and bake bread for the military garrison. Selene's teaching him how to make his first dough for wheat bread because "even a knight needs to know how to feed themselves".

He's just really happy to be with his Mum.

Yesterday marks thirty seven years of marriage to my wife Rachael.  I ran across this photo of us on our twentieth anniversary, taken down on the coast in Rockport Texas. I was self conscious about my face due to wearing sunglasses all day, and looking like a raccoon, and so I had been avoiding having my picture taken all evening. Rachael being Rachael, noticed, and whispered in my ear to stop being vain and take a photograph with her to remember the day spent on the beach together. As usual she was right, as I now cherish this photo of us together. I am grateful to still be with her all of these years later. She has always been a quiet voice, whispering reason into my ear.

McFly July, day 2: Backstage

I took it a little differently and decided to write a hidden, "backstage" scene in 1955

November 5th, 1955

9:43 pm

Barely ten minutes ago, Doctor Emmett Brown had finished giving his strange new visitor a grand tour of his mansion. To admit, it was harder for him to adapt to having another person in his house than he thought it would be. However, he realized just how lucky he was that Marty already knew him - 30 years didn't make all that much difference.

"Hey, Doc? Can I pet your dog?", Marty suddenly asked, standing in front of the inventor with a curious look on his face. 

Doc raised his eyebrows, confused. "Copernicus? Oh, yes, certainly. Go ahead, I'm sure he won't mind."

The scientist watched as the future boy bent over to stroke the little dog's fur. The animal leaned into the touch, surprising Emmett. "You're good with dogs," he told Marty, causing the teen to look up, grinning.

"Do you really think this will be your last dog?" Marty smiled. "Thanks for showing me the house, Doc. It's really neat." 

"No problem, no problem." Doc didn't mention that he actually had been certain that Marty knew the building, having been acquainted with the inventor for years in the future already. 

Copernicus let out a small whine. “He’s hungry…”, explained Doc, picking up the animal. “Of course, I forgot to feed him dinner.”  He walked into the kitchen, Marty following him. The teen sunk into his thoughts as the dog are the food. He had a week to make sure Emmett would continue feeding Einie after he gets back home. 

Home. 1985. It seemed to be further away than ever. But now, in that moment - him and Doc and a dog - it almost felt like home.

Marty took a deep breath. He would manage it. With Doc by his side he definitely would.
