if lilacs and poppies still represent desert duo in their desperate form, their toxic and dangerous and tragic form, then i propose that sunflowers be the opposite.

sunflowers were already a symbol in secret life: a precursor, a way the world could tell them both, it’s all gonna work out ok. there are sunflowers everywhere in season 10. there were sunflowers on Scar and Grian.

If Grian is the sun then desert duo are sunflowers, finally able to heal from the blood and tragedy of 3rd life.

Something about them while throughout the rest of third life, Treebark had issues where Martyn killed Ren and they went to war. Scarian killing each other. Clock husbands betrayal, so on so forth. But flower husbands wasn't like that, they were loving and soft, and they were so in love and stayed that way even in death....

I loooveee being all sad and dramatic about dogwarts and then looking over at the source material where Martyn is cracking jokes every two seconds. It's so funny to me.

Like yeah, I wrote a whole post on how they're still inside the walls and all but, Martyn was cracking jokes the whole time.

Ren is trying to do an entire speech on how they're going to send a message to the rest of the server, and Martyn interrupts to try and figure out how Ren is rolling his r's. I love them. Why are they like this.

How do the others explain what's going on to Impulse? Do they even explain? I'd assume they do since things would flow more linearly but you never know

Impulse had felt like something was missing, ever since ren had....given him a rather weird look.

"I hate to tell ya dude but ah....it's 2021. Are you okay?"

Had he....missed 9 years? What??!? How do you even do that? He tried to think of what had happened, but it only inflicted a headache. He felt....overwhelmed. but then he was in a really warm hug, and impulse simply melted with exaushtion.

Ren was always cozy afterall.

"Its okay impulse, just take some deep breaths alright? It'll be okay, we're gonna figure this out. Just focus on my heart beat, and on those deep breaths."

Impulse nodded, and he gradually relaxed. "Alright....m okay....." of course, a yawn spilled from the redstoners lips, and he just stayed limp agaisnt ren. A chuckle came from the others chest, and with little effort he'd been picked up. (Although he did not notice ren had said something to Martyn and the other had simply vanished.)

It felt nice....familiar in a sense. It gave the hazy image of.....a campfire...? Impulse didn't linger on it, he was far too contempt to relax.

"You've had an exuahsting day man, let's get you to bed alright? And then tommorw we can get some answers."

Impulse yawned again, feeling as he was brought to bed, but kept to rens chest. He was warm! It felt Strangely safe for someone he'd just met, or, impulse supposed it was muscle memory. The ved was very plush, and impulse could have sworn it looked different, but he was too sleepy to care very much.

"Promise?"

Ren put his sunglasses on the nightstand behind him, and brought impulse closer, rubbing circles into his back.

"I promise."
