scar is strong and grian has hollow bird bones, which means that scar can scoop grian up so easy, and it's flustering as hell for grian. he's never known anyone who could pick him up, hollow bones or not. it makes his heart race every time, and he sometimes intentionally provokes scar into picking him up. grian is still flustered those times, too. scar is completely oblivious to this until they're already together and grian tells him about it—and then he makes a point of doing it all the time, and it's never any less flustering

p sure I already said this but we need to do more with how many times Grian talks to ghosts, especially in 3L/LL. The bdubs summoning. Telling Scar the ghosts want blood and repeating Ren’s “only one life left” after scar’s death in the 3L finale. The whole ‘I Love You’ thing after Scar died in 100hrs. How are we not milking this for all its worth cmon people

Something I find particularly funny and very telling about their roleplay that no one is talking about is the difference between Grian and Scar after seeing the giant snail.

Grian: "This is just a build made by the snails. Scar is not chosen. That is not an actual living being."

Scar: "This is my son, Larry Jr. He has every disease, so he must be kept in contaiment, but it is ok, I still love him. Those two little rascals? Yeah, I will bully them back, but I love Larry Jr and if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this server and then myself (in minecraft.)"

BEHOLD!! (I may need help.)

I'm drawing lines between as many Minecraft series as I can in order to create a full "multiverse", so to speak.

Technically the only ones actually in this theoretical multiverse are the ones connected by red or blue lines, but just small references (yellow lines) are also being noted down for the sake of it.

My problem is, I'm one person who is fairly new to MCYT (beyond the occasional YouTube video) in the grand scheme of things. I'm not able to watch every single server as it comes out, nor do I have time to go through tons of older content searching for this kind of stuff.

As such, I request that anybody who notices a connection I don't already have, please let me know!! I will require sources in order for them to be added, but that's just because I want to keep this as accurate as possible.

Additionally, any suggestions for references to have noted MUST BE FAIRLY EXPLICIT. If a cc says something small that could be a reference but there's reasonable room for doubt, then I'm not including it for tidiness' sake.

Seperate seasons of servers are listed separately unless they immediately follow one another in a timeline.

#they're all on paramount plus #text post #i remembered the show recently out of curiosity #and i'm not bashing it don't get me wrong. that show's been bashed enough #and frankly i haven't watched a single episode since i was like 11 so i can't judge #rugrats also ended when i was kinda young. and i've seen that show since but like. i'm not a Rugrats Kid #i never appreciated it as much as some ppl. it was just kinda another show i watched. i missed the big phenomenon of it #i think #but i never knew a single person growing up who was really all that into all grown up #it seemed like whenever someone talked about it they were just like 'why'#i knew a girl on my bus in like 2nd/3rd grade whose mom stopped letting her watch all the 'cool' shows #i dont remember why. but all of the sudden she was complaining about how all she watches anymore is like #all grown up and life with derek #loooool #LIFE WITH DEREK WAS ... LET'S JUST NOT TALK ABOUT IT #those 2 shows were not incredibly popular and the main networks never showed them that much #so like. hm? FIVE SEASONS #im assuming at the end they sent it to nicktoons network to die but still. five seasons #is it good actually? im thinking of rewatching it just to see

You've heard of cursed Jimmy. And you might have heard of cursed Grian BUT. Get ready for!!!

Cursed Martyn.

Allow me to explain. I've noticed this man always gets very close to winning the life series'- but ultimately fails.

And I've noticed you can almost pinpoint the exact moment when and why he fails:

He betrays his friends.

Third Life. (Ren) [this one is debatable bc I haven't actually watched this plathrough as of this writing so?]

Last Life. (Grian) [despite their previous close alliance in the southlands, Martyn turns on Grian the second he gets a chance- he would have killed him too, if Joel hadn't first.]

And Double Life. Martyn is the only one to outright kill his soulbound. AND IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. Kindof. [If he hadn't done that, they would've been a whole Life above Scott and Pearl. Ouch.]

So. What am I getting at here?

Cursed Trio.

(Watcher) Grian: cursed with knowledge. He remembers everything from every cycle. Every time. It's his own fault, really- he helped start these games. Maybe one day, you'll be a hero that can be happy, Achilles.

Jimmy: we all know this one. Canary in a coal mine. Cursed to always die first. Shoot for the sun, Icarus. You'll hit it every time.

And Martyn: cursed to always betray his friends in his moment of weakness. Getting so close to winning, only to fail at the last moment. Next time, right, Sisyphus?

Anyways thays my rant thanks for reading I also think they should all have wings so what kind of bird do you guys think Martyn would be?? Lmk I'm thinking smth purple or blue
