Pick A Death Card Tarot Reading
Tumblr media
Readings are under the read more.
Tumblr media
Pile 1/Rider-Waite
The first card to come out was the 3 of Cups.  This card is strongly associated with socializing and communicating with friends/family.
The second card to come out was the 4 of Wands reversed.  This card is associated with issues in significant connections in your life.  These issues are likely connected to communication and/or boundaries with the other cards that came out.
The third card to come out was the 4 of Swords.  This is associated with taking a step back to clear your mind before taking action.  Basically, I feel this is what you are doing before choosing how to deal with any issues you may be having with someone in your life.
The oracle card for this pile was Boundaries: Stay In Your Own Business.  Basically, I feel like boundaries are something that you are focusing on, or need to focus on.  This can be in regards to establishing your own boundaries, as well as respecting other’s boundaries.
Tumblr media
Pile 2/Miss Cleo’s
The first card to come out was the 9 of Coins reversed.  This card is associated with some financial instability and some issues with independence, such as feeling like you may be too reliant on another for financial reasons.
The second card to come out was the King of Swords reversed.  This card is associated with a cold and detached individual.  Basically, someone that gives no regards to another’s emotions.  Kinda bitter and angry basically, maybe a bit passive-aggressive.
The third card to come out was the Page of Staffs reversed.  This card can be associated with speaking carelessly.  Basically, no filter and perhaps saying things that shouldn’t be said, possibly out of anger or a lack of caring with that King of Swords reversed.
The oracle card for this pile was Contentment: Be Satisfied.  Basically, try to find stuff to be satisfied with rather than things to be angry with.  Not an easy thing to do, but better for you than carrying a bunch of anger and negativity.
Tumblr media
Pile 3/Medieval Cat
Probably the most positive reading/pile out of the 5 :)
The first card to come out was the 10 of Cups.  This is a card associated with happiness and things going well with the connections in your life.
The second card to come out was the Queen of Wands.  This is a card associated with confidence in one’s self.  Basically, someone that knows their value and knows how to get what they want and need.
The third card to come out was the 3 of Cups.  This is a card associated with socializing and hanging out with people close to you.  Basically, I feel like this is just you connecting with the people close to you, which is helping you have/maintain that 10 of Cups.
The oracle card for this pile was Faith: You Have All You Need Right Now.  Basically, I feel like this is intended as reassurance to you that you’re doing well and have what you need.
Tumblr media
Pile 4/Chubby Bun
The first card to come out was the Page of Cups.  This is associated with expressing your emotions.  Some of you may be communicating your emotions more, while others are you are using some kind of creative outlet to release your emotions.
The second card to come out was the 4 of Swords reversed.  This can be associated with feelings of restlessness.  I feel this is basically you feeling like you need to say something that you’ve been holding on to for too long.
The third card to come out was the Page of Wands.  This is associated with spontaneous communication.  Basically, not letting yourself overthink your words to the point that you don’t say them or really have a plan of what to say.
The oracle card for this pile was Dreaming: Dream Big.  Basically, try to believe that the best outcome is possible for you.
Tumblr media
Pile 5/Supernatural
The first card to come out was The Magician.  This is associated with confidently using your skills to achieve what you want and/or need.
The second card to come out was the 4 of Pentagrams, which is basically the 4 of Pentacles in this deck.  This card is strongly associated with trying to gain/maintain some kind of stability, often financial.  Basically, pursuing something new that you enjoy that will also provide you with stability seems to be the main message of this pile.
The third card to come out was The Fools.  This card is associated with starting new things.  Interesting, this pile got the first two cards of the Major Arcana, so it does seem like this new chapter is likely already being started.
The oracle card for this pile was Passion: Do What You Love.  Basically, I feel like this is saying that this new thing that you’re pursuing is something that you enjoy, or that you should try doing something that you enjoy.

Card of the Day - 4 of Pentacles (Quatre de Pentacles) - Saturday, January 13, 2024
A direct Mercury returns to Capricorn today, invoking a more responsible approach, as suggested by the protective energy of this card. Protecting what is yours is likely to be very much on your mind, and a conservative outlook toward things might be necessary now. This can involve anything from not squandering your finances to taking things slow and staying put for a bit. I know you are itching…

Q:  How do you interpret this tarot reading? Queen of wands, 10 of Pentacles reversed, and 4 of Pentacles reversed?
Queen of Wands: Courage, confidence, ready to explore new sides, determination.
4 of Coins (R): Waste, greed, excessive self-protection.
10 of Coins (R): Dark side of wealth, financial failure or loss.
For many of us we are sexual creatures terrified of our sexuality. For some this is a survival mechanism. In a world where rape and domestic abuse are common blithely following where our libidos lead us can be a death sentence. For others, a life-time of internalized homophobia has left us horrified that someone will discover our, “secret.” It’s easy for other people to spout platitudes (“To thy own self be true.”) but they’re not living our lives and such advice can only take us so far.
For me these three cards reflect the pitfalls of wanting to dig deeper into oneself and discover who we are but going about it in an unhealthy manner. We live in a Capitalist world and often we self-identify through what we purchase. True, a person can make their own altar using found objects or they can spend thousands of dollars on expensive crystals, oils, bones, stones and whatnot. Often people spend beyond their means because they cannot imagine being themselves any other way.
In a perfect world, desire (however you want to define that) should come to us naturally and easy … but we don’t live in a perfect world. If this combination of cards came up in my own reading, I would focus in on the reversed Coins (Pentacles) and see what assumptions I have about the material ways I see myself. Where does my money go? Why do I buy what I buy? What part of my erotic nature compels me to spend? There is no right or wrong answers. Only you know where your comfort zone is. The problem, for me at least, is when I make myself miserable because the literal price tag in expressing myself is far beyond what my bank account has in it. “I just hope you understand,” George Michael once sang, “Sometimes the clothes/ Do not make the man.”

4 of Pentacles. Golden Art Nouveau Tarot
Tumblr media
Whether we think of the Pentacles as the suit of money (the original suit mark was Coins) or the suit of nature and the body, the Pentacles invite us to consider the impact of our actions on the world. How are we marshaling our energy and resources? And, on the flip side, how and when do we hold back? How and when do we keep our resources in reserve? This set of questions brings us to this suit in all its “fourness.” The Waite-Smith imagery and classic divinatory meanings point to the shadow side of stability. The Four of Pentacles depicts reserve as mere avarice. De Angelis’s imagery for the Universal Tarot offers a particularly stark illustration. A King Midas–like figure literally sits on his riches. His feet, hands, and head all cling to the golden symbols of his wealth. Instead of providing strength and refuge, his resources promote only a kind of clutching. This king is a miser, not a steward. He fails to take care of a world held in common with others. Instead, our king’s care for his wealth only increases his cares, his worries. This Midas rules nothing because fear of scarcity already rules him. Despite his wealth, he already lives in a world of poverty. By way of contrast, in the Crowley-Harris Thoth Tarot, the Four of Disks (aka Pentacles) is called “Power.” In that deck, we see the positive connotations of being anchored in one’s might, rooted in the conservation of energy and resource. In its fullness, light and shadow, the Four of Pentacles is a card about holding back. The reserve it denotes can turn us into a Midas, an Ebenezer Scrooge, holding on to what is ours and pushing the world away. But a posture of restraint can also be skillful and empowering. We can hold back in recognition of the ebb and flow of life, recognizing this moment as a time for keeping it in, in order to enable future moments when the energy bursts forth. From this standpoint, we can begin to appreciate the entire teaching of the Pentacles. We can begin to consider how we might best take care of our own and the world’s resources, cherishing this earthy embodied existence of ours. Lisa Freinkel Tishman.

4 of Pentacles : stubbornness
This card depicts a man who is sitting on a stool, who is holding onto two pentacles in a very defensive and tight posture. It’s almost as if he is hoarding them out of fear of loss. One pentacle is balanced precariously on his head, while another one is tightly clutched between his own hands, and there are two of them which are securely placed underneath his feet. He is making sure that there is absolutely no one touching his coins. At the same time, he is also unable to move because he is holding the coins so tightly. In other words, he is restrained from acting because he is holding too tight to his possessions. To some, money does not always bring freedom.
The Four of Pentacles is about holding onto what you have and not letting go… literally!
This may be in relation to your money, possessions or even your thoughts and views on a matter but whatever it is there is a certain stubbornness taken in holding onto that which you believe is owned by you and not giving any credence to what others may think.
This may be seen in a positive or negative light, the positive being that you are sticking up for what is yours and what you believe in. The negative being you are not willing to give any leeway.
This doesn't necessarily need to be in relation to money or possessions either. The Four of Pentacles is often seen when one person is holding onto their own viewpoint to the degree that they will not consider another.
It is also seen when someone is not opening up about their feelings and holding them inwards without giving anything away. If you find you are at the receiving end of this behavior in someone else then I can tell you now to just walk away. You don't need to stay away forever but you do need to stop banging your head off a brick wall thinking you can change things.
<3 :
Your relationship can be clingy and even suffocating, with the 4 of Pentacles tarot love meaning. Relationships with this card can be filled with jealousy and possessiveness. There are likely issues with insecurity or fear involved, and lovers may have to take some time to untangle these issues before they drive away their partner. If you’re single, there is likely you’re still holding onto something from your past romances; whether it is grudges, resentment or the dream of an ex returning to your life. These things need to be resolved before you can truly be open to another lover again.
my meaning for radiant wilds
you hold what is yours like a possessive child. let this child go and its habits and thoughts because you are not it. children due to their lack of understanding and huge ego are sometimes stupid and get the wrong impression so let these conclusions go

Today, you may feel like you have enough experience and security to take on the world. You are searching for the next opportunity and full of optimism for what is next to come. But you aren't fully free. You are still holding on to worry about how the next opportunity that comes along will affect you financially or might affect the position you have in life. You must decide what is more important to you. Holding on tightly to what gives you security or having that freedom. It is possible to find balance, give yourself structure, and still have exciting experiences. Don't be scared to give yourself that little bit of freedom, but don't go into excess.
If this resonates with you today, be sure to like and follow for more daily tarot 🐈‍⬛

Moderation manufactures money. Hello and welcome to TaoCraft Short Sip – Tarot for your day in the time it takes to sip from your coffee. Thank you for reading and listening. I appreciate it. Today’s card is the 4 of pentacles. It is an interesting dichotomy of meanings. On one hand it has been associated with penny-pinching, or being selfish or miserly in a bad kind of way. Other times it has…

Hello! I hope this ask finds you well. I’m A and can I please know what does the people around me think of my personality/appearance/me as a person? What energy or vibes do I give off to others?
Thank you 🧸💖✨
Hi!
Tarot
The first card to come out was the 8 of Swords. This is strongly associated with a stuck feeling, often due to one's thoughts. As a vibe, I feel like this could suggest that you come off as guarded and/or an overthinker. The guarded feeling comes from the individual generally being surrounded by the swords, almost like it'd be a wall up of sorts.
The second card to come out was the 4 of Pentacles. This is often associated with trying to build/maintain a sense of stability. This is often associated with saving money since it is a pentacle card, but can relate to any sense of stability/control. This could suggest that others see you as someone who is trying to rebuild after a difficult time/situation. It could also suggest that others may get a stable/reliable vibe from you.
The third card to come out was The Tower. This card can be chaotic and unexpected. It is generally more of an event type thing than a person (unless it's like the event of meeting someone). With that, I feel like it supports that you've likely had something challenging/difficult happen that you're still trying to rebuild from. I feel like whatever the situation was that it had an impact on your trust in others. There is the possibility that others could see you as a bit chaotic or full of surprises if this card is meant to represent your traits, but I don't really think that's what it is.
Under the deck was the 6 of Pentacles. This is a card associated with equal give and take. This can be connected to your efforts paying off. I feel like this is mostly saying that others see you as someone who gives when you can, since there is a sense of generosity with this card (like the paw sprinkling flowers for others). This also suggests that others don't see you as someone that takes advantage of others. Basically, it seems like you give support to others when you see they need it and especially when it is people that you know would do the same for you if the situation were reversed.
Overall, I'd say you likely come off as someone who has had some challenging experience in your life that you're still in the process of overcoming/recovering from, but that hasn't let that change how you treat others (or at least not in a way where you treat others badly for no reason or anything like that).

Card of the Day - 4 of Pentacles - Tuesday, May 30, 2023
With June right on your doorstep, and good-fortune planet, Jupiter, poised to bring you wonderful things in June, it stands to reason adopting a more conservative approach for another day, or so, might be in order. Mercury will be completing its post-shadow phase tomorrow, culminating its recent retrograde in the sign of Taurus. Surely you can hold off from any big purchases until the first of…

Authority. Don't give away too many secrets; people who are not necessarily supportive are watching you. On the other hand, you have hidden talents and abilities that you have not yet fully realised or utilised. This is your chance to open new doors and travel in a new direction. Julia Turk.
