“Scara, plea-”

“I don’t want to.”

Aether sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he tried to not lose his temper and snap back at the wanderer at that moment. He still needed his cooperation to reach that luxurious chest. ‘Think of the rewards, Aether, the rewards’, he told himself inside his mind. Maybe a different approach would do it…

“I really need your help, you know? I could end up hurting myself trying to climb that.”

“You can fall off that cliff for all I care.”

Aether jaw dropped in disbelief, shocked by the coldness and stubbornness of his teammate. His eyes twitched as Scara was starting to get at his nerves. The Lesser Lord Kusanali herself asked him to try to tag along with him, to keep him company and all, but this guy was simply impossible.

“You- ugh, can you stop with all this snark?”

The wanderer grinned, noticing how the traveler was already so flustered. “What if I don’t want to stop, huh? What then?” He continued, letting out a small chuckle when he saw Aether’s fists clenching. “You dragged me to this when I said I didn’t want to come, deal wit- AHH!”

Before he could do another sentence, Aether tackled him down to the ground, sitting on top of his legs. Using his arms to try to lift himself, Scara could only catch a glimpse of the traveler cracking his fingers with an angry smile on his face.

“What are you do-AHAH! NoHOHOh!!” 

Aether didn’t bother to answer, taking out all his hands as he mercilessly dug into the boy’s hips. Letting out some embarrassing high pitched laughter, Scara’s arms flailed around, barely able to reach Aether’s hands from where he was.

“AhaHAHAh, s-stohOHOHop!!” He whined through another stream of giggles, arching his back as Aether squeezed his side before going back to his hips.

“You reaaaally need to watch your words, Scara,” Aether muttered, not sure if his words could be heard under the other’s loud cackles, but the annoyance was evident in his voice. The angry, irritated smile remained in his face, making him almost look like some sort of psychotic villain. “People might not like how mean you sound sometimes, you know?”

“E-EnohOHIOugh! AHAhaha, j-just quIHihi- AHAH, q-quit ihihit!” He cried out softly, thrashing his head left and right as he tried to escape from the unbearable touch on his hips.

“Well, that depends,” Aether said, taking a deep sigh as he decided to give the wanderer a break from the ticklish punishment. Sitting back on Scara’s legs and moving his hands away, Aether crossed his arms as he looked down at the boy. “Do you have something to say to me?”

“Y-yes,” the wanderer wheezed, trying to catch his breath.

"Ummm... are you sure this is what Madame Kujou Sara told you to do..?" You looked at your lover quizzically, "Of course it is! It's a very effective training passed on by the Shuumatsuban itself" Heizou was quick to reply. "Would you really deny me your precious help, RobbiBabe..?" He used the nickname he invented just for you and gave you those puppy eyes you could never say no to.

"No, no..! It just sounds a little weird, that's all..." you were still perplexed, but you were too weak to Heizou's pleading eyes to say no to him. It was unfair how such a mischievous and cunning person could be so cute... He really had you wrapped around his pinky finger.

"Great! So, I'll explain you again what you gotta do." The detective started, every trace of sadness or plead gone from his face. "You have to pretend to be a criminal who has stolen something precious, and I'll try to get the location of the stolen goods out of you through an interrogation. This will help me to be quicker and more efficient when I'll actually interrogate someone!"

"Umm... fine, let me think about a place where I'd hide something..." you said while your brain gears were working to create a realistic scenario.

After a couple of minutes, you tell Heizou you're ready and give him permission to start this 'interrogation training'. He was taking this scenario very seriously, and it almost scared you how ominous he seemed when he looked at you as if you were a criminal, but after a while, you got more confident and even dared to give him sassy answers and witty remark. Even Heizou was somewhat impressed by how much you seemed to enjoy yourself.

However, you couldn't imagine what your lover was planning...

"Fine," he said at some point, "I guess I'll have to use drastic measures if you don't wanna talk to me. And I even asked nicely..." The look he gave you was threatening and almost disappointed, even if it was an act.

Before you knew it, a pair of mischievous hands were latched on your sides and squeezing firmly but softly. "Gh- aaaaeeeeehh..! W-what are you-" You started squirming in your seat, shivering when you heard a low chuckle coming from 'your interrogator'.

"I think you know what I'm doing, Robin..." The way the detective pronounced your full name made your eyes widen, "the Shuumatsuban is usually rougher when it comes to getting the truth out of someone... but torture is technically legal and I'm not part of the Shuumatsuban, so I gotta find an alternative way to make you talk. Tell me, criminal, are you ticklish?"

You tried your best, but you gave in way more easily than you wanted to admit to yourself. "Aaaahehehehehehe nohohoho!!!" You started squirming in your seat, but you did your best to remain still. "No? You aren't? Then this interrogation should be a piece of cake for you~" He said casually, as if his hands weren't slowly walking towards your most ticklish spot.

Your eyes widened in terror when you realized where they were going. "NO!!! Wahahahahait pleheheaha- NAHAHAHAHAT THEHEHERE NOHOHOHOOOO" You didn't even try to hold back your laughter when your feet were targeted mercilessly.

"IHIHIHI GIHIHIVEEE!!! IHIHI'LL TALK!!!" You pleaded, but you didn't expect your boyfriend to stop tickling you and start laughing boisterously. "Pfft- hahahahahaha I can't believe you really bought the interrogation training excuse!" He saw your perplexed face and explained better.

"I noticed you've been awfully serious this week, so I decided to find a way to make you unwind and have you cooperate with me~" You pouted, but you couldn't deny he was right... and you had enjoyed yourself a lot to be honest...

That evening finished with you two snuggling and kissing sweetly on the couch, and Heizou was unaware of the pair of hands that was making his way towards his bare, exposed ribs...

i’m sorry so the long delay! it’s only until now and a bit of yesterday had i’d come around in trying to finish this and sent it out for you! i do hope that you’ll enjoy it, and thank you for requesting as well,, :)

warnings : a bit of angst at the start, confession.

he’d always knew how he felt about you.

when? he’s not sure; there are a many a moments he could choose wherein it could’ve been the start, a start.

you, the one who bandaged him whenever he came back with welts on his skin, even when he’s capable of doing do himself? (featherlight strokes that barely felt like anything, and with such consideration and care along with it.)

you, the one who tries and tries to follow in his footsteps, taking in every tip to improve your own salves? (there’s an eagerness in you, when he has some time to spare for a few lessons, that he finds himself attached to.)

(he soon finds out that maybe you take a bit more space in his thoughts than he’d, well, thought.)

he’s aware of how it crossed the confines of affinity, intimacy, whenever he saw (felt) you near him (his ears takes it all in - small streams cascading, a soft string of chirps in the air, rustling of leaves - and always hears your voice in the midst of it.)

why not tell them? he asks himself, too many times for his liking. it’s one of those questions that he cannot find an answer for, no matter how long he looks into it.

“of course. all those words of caution and it still had little to no regard for yourself.”

so he says - and yet, something that comes close to a softness of sorts sifts into his words, a bit sweeter, than he’d let on.

the sheets shrivel to the slight shuffling of the bed, leaving a wake of wrinkles - in a way, an answer in and of itself.

you’re sleeping, swathed in sheets as sleep has long held you in its arms.

the skies fell into nightfall a while ago, and the life around and within the forests started to still into a silence that he’s accustomed to this late. lights start to fade; voices an echo; and all that is left in the depths of the darkness is nature itself.

and his words.

“though unnecessary, it was at least a way for you to get some rest. it was bound to happen, sooner or later.” he sighs, shaking his head. “so, good for you.”

silence.

“…i’m not exactly the most skilled with words, though that goes without saying, so don’t mind the particulars of what i’m about to say.”

“it’s difficult trying to compose myself whenever you’re around. and that leads me to wonder whether you’re doing it on purpose - it’s not possible though, i doubt it, but… it has to be obvious, one way or another.”

“i say that because, if you hadn’t notice, which i doubt you haven’t, i have these unique features of mine,” he tugs at the tuft of his tail, “that react quite lively: i’m sure you saw it on occasion on how it reacts considering you.”

“i’m also sure where you know where i am heading with this and, though, i prefer to say it while i could gauge out your reactions… this is the best i can do for now.”

he sighs. his hand slowly settles atop of your head, running his fingers through your hair. unruly, he tries to untangle all the knots and, somehow, it did little to nothing to rouse you awake. if anything, you only found yourself closer to the unfamiliar (very familiar) source of warmth.

“i like you, [name],” he murmurs. his voice dips a bit. “i find myself tied to you by the hip, even when it feels like the other way. heh. always wondering, always asking myself where you are if not beside me. that’s really childish, and a bit cheesy, but that’s how i feel.”

“and it’s how i’ve been feeling for a while now.”

again, silence.

all that is a remnant of him is the phantom peck of left on your forehead, the space between your brows. (the way you scrunched your nose was… cute.) that spot of tepidness lingered, even after tighnari left.

(the light is put out this time.)

and even when you let your eyes open, the world now quiet.

even in the cold, the crisp puff of wind caressing in from the cracks, you feel your face heat up bit by bit within moments. the last few minutes had finally fell on you.

he likes you.

he likes me. he likes me. tighnari likes me.

those words - his words, his voice - is said over and over again in your head, reliving the moment if possible.

for you like him as well. a smile touches your lips, one that could counter the sun itself (was it awake.)

you know now. you’re now aware.

Dan Heng looked over his shoulder when the sound of the door opening reached his ears. Narrowing his eyes, the archivist tried to recognize the figure by its silhouette before saying something.

“Dan Heng, are you here?” Caelus said, walking inside the room and letting the door close behind him. With the sound of steps coming from behind a shelf, Dan Heng showed up, wearing a rather calm look on his voice.

“Yes, I’m here,” he said, looking at the trailblazer. “Do you need anything?”

Caelus shook his head, scratching the back of his head as he tried to come up with a proper answer. “I… just wanted to check on you. I haven’t seen you all day, so I got a little worried,” he admitted, hoping his ‘futile’ reason wouldn't annoy the archivist. “I hope I’m not bothering you or anyth-”

“Don’t worry about it,” Dan Heng interrupted and, despite his usual cold facade, Caelus could tell he was being kind of friendly. “I wasn’t working on anything important.”

The answer gave Caelus a mixed feeling, making the man raise an eyebrow in curiosity. As much as it soothed his previous worries, it opened room for a new question. “Wait, what were you doing back there, then?”

As the silence started covering up all the noises in the room, Caelus’s curiosity only grew larger. “I mean, I could barely see you from the entrance, it was almost as if you were hiding,” he joked, letting out a nervous chuckle as he hoped to at least ease the tension between them.

Dan Heng sighed, his intuition telling him that running from the topic would only lead to further questioning and, even worse, ruin his whole “plan”. 

“Truth to be told, that was what I was doing,” the archivist replied, trying to make it sound as normal as possible.

“Ah, I see- huh?! You were?!” It took him a few seconds to realize, not expecting his suspicions to be confirmed like that. “Why? Hiding from what?”

Dan Heng pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out an audible groan. It was such an absurd situation, such an embarrassing position to be in. But, looking on the bright side, maybe talking it out with Caelus would help.

“From March,” the archivist sighed, crossing his arms as he looked away, avoiding eye contact out of shyness, “she is probably… hunting me down right now.”

“W-what? From March? What happened?”

Was he really doing it? He guessed so, “we were hanging together earlier today and, for some reason, she started complaining about ‘how cold I am sometimes’ or something along these lines…”

“Uh-huh…” Caelus nodded, trying to follow Dan Heng’s line of thought.

“So, at first I didn’t care because it should be just another one of her ramblings, but she felt like I was ignoring her and started poking me.”

Caelus widened his eyes. From that sentence, he could guess where this was going and why Dan Heng seemed so annoyed. Taking some slow and quiet steps towards the archivist, the trailblazer nodded, humming in agreement.

“And- ahm, well, it felt… a little- ugh, a little ticklish,” he continued the story, not noticing how Caelus was slowly approaching him, to disturbed by the idea of voicing something like that, “a-anyway, I think this flipped some switch inside her; She started saying things, I guess to try tease me, and making a fuss over the idea of me being ticklish.”

“So… that’s why you decided to hide here? To avoid March tickling you?”

“Yes- Well, no, I mean, it’s not like that. It’s just that I’m not in the mood to fool around with her and I have work to do-”

“But are you?”

Dan Heng quickly turned his face towards Caelus as those words landed on his ears. The boy was merely inches away from him at that point, making the same face as March did when she made her little discovery.

🔮 Why did I choose him for you?

• SAME. SWITCH. ENERGY. Both of you can be a meanie tickle monster one second and a giggly flustered mess the instant after • He's not the most extroverted person, while you are a little ball of sunshine. He'd 10000% fall for you. Hard. • He would take you to the desert at night, when it gets colder, to make you admire the breathtaking landscape • He'd say something cheesy like "you're the most breathtaking landscape" just to make you blush and huff in embarrassment • And if you hide your face, some pokes will definitely come! It's Cyno's duty as the General Mahamatra to punish you for the crime of "hiding the most beautiful face of the world" • I'm sure he would try to take you to the desert during the day as well just to show you how different it is with sunlight, but he'd end up dumping a bucket of water on you because he'd notice that you're not the best at handling the heat • Then he'd drag you all the way to Gandharva Ville and beg Tighnari to check you up just to make sure you're actually okay • Idk why but I think Tighnari would wreck both of you because you'd be two little dummies together, but your shenanigans always amuse and endear him • Since you're both athletic people, you could go on morning runs together before Cyno has to go to work, and it would be the general's second favorite moment of the day (the first would be coming home to you after work or after a mission) • I feel like Cyno would fall victim to sweet little sneak attacks... and they always work since his torso and feet are always exposed • Let's not forget that Cyno graduated from the Akademiya, so he could ramble about random facts and explain you everything you wanna know • And obviously... you'd have lots of TCG matches since you like playing games and he likes playing this game! And there may or may not be a penalty for the loser~

🔮 Tickle scenario

Being from Khaenri'ah, you weren't exactly the biggest fan of the Archons, nor the firmest believer, but you were sure that they blessed you in the instant when you met Cyno.

He was just perfect for you... and he made you feel at home in a compliment foreign country like Sumeru. He was so goofy and affectionate, but he also had that solemn aura of authority that made you admire him even more. You two shared many hobbies, which made the two of you get even closer, although the general could be merciless while playing Genius Invokation TCG...

But he usually found a way to make you forgive him for being too aggressive while playing, like he was doing when he dragged you around the whole Avidya Forest to make you see the most beautiful landscapes (he got some pointers from Tighnari).

"So... do you forgive me for yelling while playing?" The general asked you with sad, pleading puppy eyes while you two were sitting on a huge tree branch. "Well, that yell startled me quite a lot..." You pouted. The truth is, you had already forgiven him the moment he took you to a very big and tall tree to watch the sunset, but seeing him so troubled was quite cute.

"I see..." He said in a solemn tone, trying in vain to hide his sadness and mortification, "I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable, and take all the time you need to forgive me..." That tone, that nervous fidgeting with his hands, those sad eyes... you couldn't help it, you bursted out laughing.

"Cyno... babey... I was just messing with you..." You finally confessed, watching his expression turn from guilty to confused to astonished to pouty. "Come on... don't pout! I couldn't help it, your reactions were just too cute~" You teased, but the general remained grumpy.

"Awe... won't you smile for me..? I know you want to~" You whispered the last sentence into his ear while scribbling gently up and down his back, enjoying the series of startled sounds and choked laughter that left your partner's mouth.

"See? Just give in and gimme a smile, holding it in is pointless" You teased in a very sweet tone, something you probably learned while getting wrecked by Yae during your time in Inazuma.

However, Cyno was tough and it would be a lie to say you didn't know... Archons, his head was sturdier than a plank of Adhigama Wood! You were sure that only drastic measures would've been enough with him, and being a good partner you knew exactly what you needed.

In a swift movement, you straddled him and wrapped him in a tight hug, then you started blowing a series of quick little raspberries on his collarbones. It was a little unusual to be so sensitive there, but Cyno was a very peculiar person so he didn't surprise you too much.

"HMMMM- HAHAHAHAHAHAHA OKAY OKAHAHAY IHIHI'M LAHAUGHIHIHIHING STAHAHAHAHAHAP" He finally gave up after lasting so long. "See? It wasn't so hard~" You kissed the white-haired guy on the nose, turning him into a flustered mess.

Eventually, the sun began to set to leave the scene to the night sky, so you and your lover decided to glide down from the tree and head home together.

However, as soon as your feet touched the ground, you stumbled over something you clearly hadn't seen, and before you knew what was going on, you found yourself lying on your stomach on the soft grass with a weight on your back.

Well... that weight had a name, and that name was Cyno.

"Cyno, what the-" You started, but he quickly interrupted you, "I, the General Mahamatra, will not tolerate your crimes of mischief any further. Judgment is upon you!"

With that sentence, he started scribbling on your right thigh and squeezing on the left one, switching techniques to never let you get used to the feeling. "Nonono- HEHEHEHEHEHEHE WAHAHAIT IHIHIHIHI'M SAHAHAHARRY NOHOHOHOT THIHIHIS!!!" You begged, but your pleads fell on deaf ears and the tickle attack continued.

"WAAAAAEEEHEHEHEHEHE PLEHEAHAHAHSE NOHOHOHOHOT THIHIHIS!! ANYTHIHIHIHING BUHUHUT THIHIHIS!!!" You pleaded pointlessly. Cyno knew your limits very well, and he was aware that you still hadn't reached it.

Suddenly, an idea hit you. You managed to turn your arms back and with a bit of luck, you found Cyno's bare feet, completely vulnerable as he was sitting on top of you. It took only a quick scribble to make him jump off and finish that tickle fight.

"You're a meanie..." You panted while you recovered from that brutal thigh-tickle attack. "But you love me~" He replied with a smug knowing smile. "Indeed I do..." You grabbed his hand and finally started heading home.

"Technically I won the tickle fight~" You teased.

"Don't make me go for another round..."

And we're back with another follower event, having reached the 400 milestone a while back now! As per usual, I'll include the rules of the event before introducing it properly!

Duration

I will be doing this event for 10 asks for followers.

The ask box will be open on Friday, December 8th from 11 am until 6 pm EST.

If the slots are not filled, this process will continue until they are all filled; due to my schedule, the following days will be Tuesday, December 12th and Thursday, December 14th IF request slots are still available. The ask box will be CLOSED until those days.

The Fairy Gala group had returned after their eventful day and needed a shower to remove the ridiculous amount of glitter and makeup Vil threw at them.

“Let me walk you back to your dorm and help remove your makeup, herbivore,”

“Sure. Lead the way.” Yuu smiled while adjusting the sleeping Grim with one arm.

Ruggie watched as Leona and Yuu walked off too close to be considered friendly.

“What are you looking at?” Kalim asked while skipping over to the hyena’s side.

“Can’t you see what’s happening?”

“What?”

“And they don’t have a clue!”

“Who?” Kalim asked innocently. Ruggie pointed at the two lovebirds, catching the moment Leona intertwined his hand with Yuu’s.

“They’ll fall in love, and here’s the bottom line, our group would be down by two.”

“We are not friends,” Jamil joined in with a serious expression.

Ruggie ignored Jamil and threw an arm over Kalim’s shoulders, “Can’t you see it, Kalim? The magic everywhere!”

“Well, we use magic every day,” Jamil added.

Kalim’s mouth opened in an ‘o’ like a lightbulb lit up in his head, and Ruggie grinned.

“There’s romance in the air!”

“They’re so loud,” Leona complained, causing Yuu to laugh. The two were far, but they could hear Ruggie and Kalim’s yelling, especially Leona.

Yuu squeezed Leona’s hand and laughed, “Just ignore them. We can reveal our relationship to them in the morning.”

A/N: Ruggie yelled “finally” when it was announced, Kalim was very happy, Jamil congratulated them, and Crewel had a heart attack at the age of 32 (this is based on an old post regarding dad Crewel and Yuu at the Fairy Gala)
