Sketchbook Scribbles Part 4

Today’s doodles are all based on a game I used to play religiously in elementry/middle school: neopets. Prepare for a blast to the past.

Ah, JB. My crowning achievement on Neopets. A faerie lutari with a 2 letter name. He’s insanely valuable, yet at the same time absolutely worthless. Can you believe I adopted him from the pound as a purple quiggle? My college roommate dragged me back into neopets back in 2012, and i was just in time to experience the money printer that was the habitarium. Like any sane user during this glorious time, once you learned this minigame basically generated neopoints at all hours of the day, you created a little slave factory farm of petpetpets endlessly mining goods and laying eggs, and you abused the shit out of it. Don’t you lie. I know you did it. We all did it. It’s the only reason any of my childhood dreams became actualized. Drawn April 10th and July 12, 2017 respectively

I had a really bad dream,

For a while afer I woke up, it took time for me to realize it was a dream, and I ended up being in a daze,

It had been a while since I had had a strange dream!

I went to an all you can eat yakiniku place with my family, But the restaurant was pretty crowded, and the server wasn't helpeful 😇 lol I didn't receive what I ordered, I dropped my chopsticks, I asked for another, and the request was ignored, I was super angry, Therefore, well, my attitude also got bad, And so, the moment my attitude got worse, as if it was measured, They found out I was in Morning Musume, and they were like, eh, you're that kind of person...... and I saw white before my eyes 😇 ......

That dream! lol

This would be something really really horrible if it was real 😇⚠️

Even if I'm not the one who started it, If think about my normal self being seen and judged, I have this in mind everyday...... 😇⚠️

But I'm glad it was completely a dream!! Today I slept a ton!! lol

Day 370

Friday 5th Febraury 2021

Friday - in French there is a saying that in response to asking how are you, you can reply - like a monday or like a friday and today it was 'like a friday'. My day was a good day, it started off with my bowl of porridge and a light theapy treatment. Apparently Pauls cousin was part of the development of these portable light therapy glasses, that is supposed to affect the brain chemicals linked to moods and sleep, it can also help with winter depressions, as it replicates the same stimulants that your brain recieves in the sunshine. Joelle had a pair lying around, so I thought - hey desperate times call for desperate measures and so today I started my light therapy - 30 minutes a day, ideally in the morning. Whats the worst that can happen? I looked into it, as initially I read that it was blue light, and I wear glasses specifically to prevent blue light (from screens and the likes) from affecting my eyes and I initially though jeepers why do that for 30 minutes when I spend my whole day avoiding it, but it is infact a different type of blue light - good news! I will let you know if I feel that it has a difference, but at the moment, it is fun to try, plus they look rather space-agey so it is a bit of fun! It might trick the chemicals in my brain, but honestly, I would much rather have real sunshine! 

The rest of my day continued 'like a friday' should, my day passed quickly, it was warm in the attic, my salad was delicious, I did my climbing work out, it was a good day. At the end of the work day, I had a catch up meeting with my team which was really nice, it was good to catch up with them, in a social sense, as working from home you really miss out on all the advantages of having work mates around!  I don’t know what projects they are working on, where they are at, if they have any ideas for progressing on my projects, all the group interaction is completely gone. And when you think about it, it is an important aspect of work! After work Benoit and I made pizzas, before retreating to have a bath and relax! 

One : Gone with the Wind - every moment I can sneak away into this book is a good one.  Two : My morning coffee - and today in a cup from NZ, made by Ambers mum, I love them Three : Friday night pizza night, it is a tradition I brought from home, and one that generally gives me something to look forward to at the end of the week!

As the 6th of nine children, his early years were filled with working to earn a living. Moody recieved his salvation after a preacherman, Dr. Edward Kimball asked him a pressing question, "Will you not give your life to Jesus?" In September 1860, Moody moved to Chicago and began working in a shoe store. His interest in church work continued to grow leading him to join the Plymouth brethren. Moody is said to have preached to over 10 million people in his lifetime but it actually began with a Sunday school. After his salvation, he joined a Sunday school and began preaching to kids and bringing them to the school. His Sunday school students reached 1,500 and this was a great testimony. Out of the Sunday school he started, the Illinois street church was born. Anison Singer Ray's Retirement Concerts Confirmed to be Held on July 22&23

26-year-old anison singer Ray held her debut 5th anniversary concert "RAYVE2017" at Showa Women's University on February 19. In the three-hour concert, she announced that her last best album to conclude her five-year career will be released in June, then her retirement concerts will be held at Bunkyo Civic Hall in Tokyo for two days on July 22 and 23. She previously revealed her retirement from professional singer activities on her official website on January 25.

  The first day of her retirement concerts will have various guests who have collaborated with her, and the second day will feature only herself. Advance entries for the 6,000 yen tickets are now accepted on Disk Garage till February 27. Before the final concerts, she is currently scheduled to join ANIMAX MUSIX NEXTAGE on Febraury 25 and FANJ Premium Live -2017 Spring- on March 12.
