#some gay people just don't get that not everyone can or wants to have a romantic relationship #and that friends really are the most important to some people #and that it can be nice to see stories where a friendship is the most important relationship to someone #and people aren't homophobic for wanting that!! ughhh #both things can exist in this world #i say this as a gay person who isn't aroace #but i believe in their beliefs #there's room for so many stories in the world #friendship stories aren't taking away from romance stories #64personal #maybe delete later

I went to my first Pride event in my life today.

#64personal #it was just a low-key festival in a park #i'm glad i went though #this is the first summer i've been 'proud' i guess... or okay with who i am #i still don't feel like i belong anywhere or that i'm a 'real' anything #i still have so many doubts about who and what i am #especially since i'm such a baby at this... i feel like i still don't understand so many things and i'm immature compared to others #who have more experience #especially with romance and stuff #but i hope i'll get there; i've come pretty far over this year #it's going to be a bit tough going back home because i won't be able to do things like this anymore #but i know that i can get through this and stay proud of who i am #i might delete later dfhkjdfdfdf aaah... #i am happy though even though i feel unsure and insecure about myself

if anyone knows how @baceoonist/ @teaofdestiny is doing and is willing to share, I’d really appreciate it. he deactivated so suddenly (although the sideblog is still up currently) and his ao3 works are orphaned now too. i just hope he’s alright. if you see this peter, i know we didn’t talk a lot but i do consider you a friend. i hope you’re doing well and i know that you’re going to do great with school! you are an amazing writer and artist and i always enjoyed seeing your works and your ocs. keep up the good work and stay safe out there. i hope i hear from you again someday ���

I like to pretend that Flora didn’t get kidnapped in Diabolical Box and still got to go on the adventure with Luke and Layton... she barely talks even when she’s with them (she doesn’t say anything when tapping on anything at all!) so it’s easy enough to imagine that she’s still with them in Folsense.

#64personal #flora reinhold #it was so unnecessary for her to be kidnapped #don paolo could've just disguised as anyone else #or just followed them around like he did in curious village! #and it's just so upsetting... #their stop in dropstone was three hours long #the only thing flora got to do on the adventure was go to the cattle competition #steal babette's dog #and then get kidnapped #and nobody bothers to come back for her until the adventure is over #for all layton knew #flora could've been hurt or even killed... they didn't know what don paolo had done to her #i hate that she got kidnapped in unwound future too #but at least there luke and layton saved her within an hour or less #in DB she's locked in the barn for a whole night and close to a whole day too #hjksdsadsdk i just hate how she gets treated... #luke and layton are mean to her more often than they are nice #and I want to imagine nice family/friendship stuff with the three of them #but every time I play the games I get slapped in the face with how they actually treat her #negative

I can’t believe I finally finished my Shirnyx story, ahhhh....

#64personal #there's still a few more edits to do #and an epilogue thing as well #but the main story is complete #it's almost 25k words long #i've been working on it since october and it's finally done #i'm kind of sad #it's really personal i guess and it was always so comforting to go back and work on #but at the same time i'm really happy that i managed to finish it #it's the longest completed story i've ever written #shirnyx is magic babey!!!! #these old men changed my life

I’m just so happy that people are shipping Clora again! When I first started shipping it, I felt so lonely, like I was the only one who shipped it, and I was scared to put up my fics because I was afraid of getting bullied over it. Now I know of at least five people who like it. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but the fandom is so small now, so knowing that there’s that many people who love these two means so much to me. 

I know I haven’t written much for Clora in a while, but they’re still in my heart and I’m so excited to create more things for them and to support other people who also put their hearts into making things to share!!!

I finally wrote an original song...

I think I started writing this back in June or July, and I think it was going to be a Clora song; that’s why there’s all of the time imagery. It became less romantic and less focused on them specifically as time went on, though, so you can see it as friendship or romantic, whatever you like.

I’m still not totally happy with the lyrics, but I guess I can change them later; I’d like to make a better recording with more instruments/sounds sometime once I get a better recording setup, so I may change the lyrics a little when I make that recording. I wrote them below for anyone who wants to see them.

Random thoughts after finishing “Therapy with Dr. Albert Krueger.”

1: Taylor and Albert are such cool looking characters. The art in this game is so good and I love how both the official art and the pixel art gives both of them so much personality. Taylor’s shocked face is the best thing; all they do is widen their eyes with this incredulous “is this really happening?” look on their face and it’s hilarious. Albert is amazing too; I saw his art and was instantly smitten ahaha. The music is very good too; there isn’t much of it, but it’s very atmospheric and catchy, and is used to very good effect. I love how the creepy guitar sound is implied to be diegetic; I wonder where it’s coming from? There are so many cool mysteries to solve and think about in this game!

2: It was SO HARD to purposely get the math problems wrong because Albert praising me for getting them right was such a huge ego boost adfshjkasasfdsa... thank you for making me feel smart, Albert.

3: The dread I felt during the “trust” task was so strong. I went through without opening my eyes the first time, but it was so hard to not do it and I was so scared that I’d get killed. For the final ending, when I had to open my eyes, I was so scared every time, and boy did I get freaked out for those last two sections. Albert giving the explanation that he “got really excited by my answers” was really funny though, as was Taylor’s nonchalance.

4: “I’ll have you know that I’m a qualified professional. I have a PhD in Marine Biology.” I laughed so much adsfkjha... even though this game was very scary, there were a lot of really fun moments that made me smile.

5: I loved the little dialogue changes and how Taylor gradually grew more and more aware and learned from the repeated runthroughs! The part that stood out most for me was the “cups and balls” game, where Albert switched what he called it between runthrough 1 and 2, and where Taylor immediately knew what the game was on runthrough 3.

6: I really loved the video in run 1, and the corrupted video in run 2 scared me so much. The video in run 3 was the best, though; after watching run 1 and 2′s videos, I was expecting something really scary. The dancing skeletons video was so different from what I expected that I wanted to laugh with relief, but I was afraid to because I thought something scary was going to happen! I could only laugh after the video was done. I love how it played with my expectations!

7: I love how mysterious and intriguing the world is! The story is small and self-contained, but there are so many hints at a bigger world. I want to know more about Albert’s college days, Taylor’s siblings, and who on earth William is and why he needs to be told to not put someone’s arm in the oven. This makes me really excited to play Vincent’s game and learn about him! I also really want to know more about Albert’s corporation and what they are really planning.

8: I love the true ending. It was really heartwarming. I really like how Taylor, in the end, was the true therapist. Albert may have been going through therapy tasks with Taylor, but Taylor was the one who listened to Albert, acknowledged his feelings, and dug a little beneath the surface to help him see what he truly needed to be happy. Even if Albert’s got some... nefarious tendencies, I really do want to see he and Taylor be friends, and it was really nice seeing him reach out to Vincent.

I want to write another Clive and Layton story so bad but it’s so hard to keep Clora completely out of it...

#64personal #my plot idea includes flora and that's the problem dsfhjksdf #because both relationships are so important for my clive and open up different sides of him #and flora's layton's daughter (sort of anyway) so of course she's always around #so it's hard not to reference it at all #but then again I know lots of people don't like the ship #and also I know people who are looking for a nice father+son story aren't really wanting to read romance #so I try to keep it separate #but it's so hard #it used to be easier because i didn't really like romance and i wanted it completely separate from the platonic stuff #but now i enjoy romance (at least sometimes) #anyway... #maybe I'll start by writing whatever I want #and whatever clora stuff sneaks in i could try to make it pass as platonic fsdjhksf... #most of my stuff for them is like... 'romantic friendship' anyway so maybe it could work #maybe delete later
