thinking about jimmy getting a "drawer full" of xanax after he loses his wife, thinking about jimmy paying prostitutes but having to stick to viagra because truly his heart isn't into it, thinking about him naming his loan out after her favorite movie, getting the flashy car she told him he should have, keeping the zafiro anejo stopper in a desk drawer, the closest thing to a wedding band the either of them ever had. thinking about how the years pass but she never really leaves his mind

Jimmy absolutely does not want Kim to shoot anyone. I don’t know how much clearer people need it to be that he doesn’t care about that at all. He expects to die for her. I’ll say it again;
HE EXPECTS TO DIE FOR HER.
Jimmy plays an angle, which is what he does best in times when he is backed into a corner (which is what Bob says!). He changes Lalo’s mind — a skill that clearly impresses Fring — and talks him into sending Kim to do the hit. But all he wants is to pry her away from that apartment, from Lalo and the gun and Howard’s body on the floor; and she knows it.
Jimmy works the hand he’s been dealt to make the best of a bad situation, and he tells Kim, without saying it; I’d die for you. But Lalo doesn’t know this, doesn’t recognise this. And so Jimmy plays up the plan to Lalo instead. He lets Lalo think he’s a coward and let’s Lalo think he’s behind the plan because he’s too scared to deviate and hopes Kim will just leave.
But she won’t.
Even that amazing moment when she pulls up by the police car, and doesn’t say a word. She is willing to kill for Jimmy and that in itself is also unreal. She loves him so much she’ll kill a stranger for him.
I am beyond words at these two.

eddie is driving that ambulance faster than the speed of light. three minutes until the hospital? more like three seconds, he literally brakes every law possible to get there in less than a minute

For everyone wondering why BCS episode 6x09 was called "Fun and Games": A reference to the famous 1962 play by Edward Albee "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" - a play about the breakup of a longtime couple that build their life together on a lie which ultimately comes crumbling down.

im literally going to be crying myself to sleep because of howard and how he is "going to come back from this" and because of the determination in his voice when he said this. and no one will know. hes just a drug user to them now. people will talk about him. they will see the news and say "look at how far this lawyer has fallen". he wanted to come back from this. he wouldve done it. and now he is gone and his reputation dies with him. HMM will fall and Howard wont be remembered. Hes forever going to rot with the man who killed him. He will be nothing. This lawyer who tried so hard, hes gone. Howard Hamlin has no legacy.

mike specifically emphasizing and re-emphasizing that they’ve been lying about howard and dragging his name through the mud and setting him up… as if to make sure that they never forget what brought him there in the first place… thank you king

the transitions between breaking bad and current day getting shorter and blending together. there is no discernable 'saul' or 'gene' or 'jimmy'. there is just one man playing the same story over and over again hoping he can be happy this time.

mr white. you ever think about how saul goodman acts as a terrible person to hide the fact that he's essentially drowned the man he once was and has driven away every single person who ever loved or believed in him, and he's haunted by what could've been and the person he's become so he blankets himself in a fake exterior so he doesn't have to confront his inner turmoil within. everything he's done and every vile act he's committed is ultimately because deep down he's a lonely man crying out for love and acceptance that will never come again. bitch

That promo tho. Focusing on Bobby and Athena having each other's backs in thst orange Grove, Hen and Karen and Hen fighting to save her love and then Buck and Eddie. Eddie screaming his name when Buck's in trouble just like we just heard Hen screaming for Karen.
The way that promo is put together it feels like them showing what's happen to the set couples (minus madney) and then putting Buck and Eddie on the same level.

was thinking about any times we’ve seen him act in a similar way to how he does this episode (the howard scam comparisons felt a bit off since such a big part of that was that they found it fun)... and i remembered this scene from 3x07 “Expenses” 🙃

but so what?
that line will be in my mind forever. we love each other, we admit it after years and years of dancing around it, we have an open conversation about how much we desperately belong together, need each other to be whole. i know you love me, you would die for me. i know i love you, i’d kill for you.
but so what?
but not if this is the cost; the absolute shitstorm we left in our wake because our love is the most powerful and dangerous force known to man. it can tear down buildings and eradicate human life, it has no bounds on its destruction but i’m setting one now, i’m putting a stop to it now.
but so what?
he went and did it anyway didn’t he, became twice the destructive force for both of them. he fulfilled his promise and died for her because he loves her too much to bear dealing with it. he puts his heart in a shoebox and buries it in that oldest of legal documents, right behind the forth amendment right to privacy from seizure (even though it’s all been taken from him already) and puts the mask on permanently.
but so what but so what but so what
what was any of it for if not for love?
