I like how Moebius's Edena series is basically like, "Hey sometimes things are nice. Sometimes you have to get over your neuroses and accept the risks that come with putting yourself out there and maybe accepting the idea that things can be good." And then like 10 pages later it's like "I mean there are still Horrors, though. Like, yes, we're very proud of you for learning to adapt to your environment and accept that the entire universe may not be trying to kill you and that opening your mind can bring you to a happier and more fulfilled understanding of it, but the Horrors are still definitely there."
