Do you think the Piston Cup ever had a Convertible Division like NASCAR did? For that matter, do you think that they even took it a step further and had a Station Wagon division?

I feel like the Piston Cup can handle one thing at a time, on a good day, so if I had to choose, all the racing in the Carsverse would not exist under the Piston Cup label. Racing exists under a plenitude of leadership, and I think that'd be even more true for them, since it's their primary sport. The Piston Cup is the sport's marquee series, and its responded to that role by having long-time marquee racers as its pinup boys for decades on end, but I feel like for motorsports in general, there's probably even more variegation for them than us.

I don't think the Carsverse argues about whether or not motorsports are sports or not, for instance, lol. They're not competing against the NFL or NBA and cost of entry for youth and feeder series isn't being compared to stick and ball youth leagues. So bring on all the racing for different body styles!
