Hawks, rising star hero, top thirty before he's even old enough to make medical decisions for himself, top twenty before he can vote. The mysterious hero from the Safety Commission left behind his old life a long time ago. He gave up his name, his family, even parts of his free will to become the hero he had long dreamed of being. Some call the Commission groomers for what they've done to Hawks, others call the Commission dream makers for getting the young man out of his harsh living situation from before. Hawks doesn't really care. He doesn't mind making tons of money or being hit on by all sorts of beautiful people on the streets. He doesn't mind cold nights on rooftops or hard fights that leave him wondering if living is worth it. Oh, and Hawks definitely doesn't mind the crushing loneliness that weighs on his bright red wings like 100s of pounds of baggage he doesn't want to get into. Or at least Hawks hadn't thought about caring until a little chirpy fan starts to follow him around. Once his biggest tiny fan has flown his way into the young hero's heart, Keigo remembers what it's like to be loved again.

Chapter 5
Another few weeks of leaping, though the excitement gave way under another pressure. The need for answers in his own life. Samantha. Had he given up too quickly? Had his parents? What did they know, that they didn’t tell him?
The dreams morphed. Dreams, not nightmares. Every time he woke, it felt like experiencing memories instead of random firing of neurons, making up a story in his head.
Samantha called to him for help. He was frozen, but it felt like it came from outside. Like someone was making him unable to help. A craggy-faced man who smoked cigarettes talked with his mother. His father said something about a decision and closed the door in his face. They had to be memories.
Was Samantha abducted by aliens?
And Scully… Scully was quieter. Rarely smiled. The shadows under her eyes deepened. Sometimes when she visited she just slept. Laid beside him, arm folded under her head, closed her eyes. She couldn’t lean on him, but he pretended she could. He sat just so, the light from her projection next to his. Wavelength and cell. He’d have to ask her about it one day, how it all worked.
“I got accepted to medical school,” she said suddenly.
“That’s… that’s great.” She wasn’t looking at him. Her voice was flat. Was it just exhaustion or was there something else underpinning her words? “Is that what you want?”
“Yeah. Ever since I was little.”
“Why physics, then, instead of biology?”
She turned, then, to look at him. He imagined her hand brushed against his leg, instead of moving through it. “I think… I didn’t want to understand just how the human body worked. I wanted to understand why.”
He nodded. The future. She’d be a doctor. A surgeon maybe, operating on people’s brains. Or exchanging hearts. Connecting the very things that made us who we are. And what did his future hold?
“You’ll be a great doctor, Scully.”
She smiled, but it faded. Shadows clouding her eyes. “Why?”
He tilted his head at her. “What do you mean?”
“I can’t even bring you back, Mulder, I–”
“What does that have to do with being a doctor?”
“If I can’t do this right, how can I hope to do the rest?”
He laid beside her, their faces inches apart. Yet miles and years, too. It would have to be enough, for now.
“You didn’t have all the details, Scully. I can’t imagine how complicated–”
“I don’t care that I didn’t know everything before this started. I’ve had weeks, months to sort it out. I should have solved it by now.”
“Hey.” He wanted to take her in his arms. Fold around her. But he remained where he was, refusing to break the illusion that she wasn’t really there. “Take it easy on yourself. Not even Singh or Gallagher knew this was going to happen.”
“You don’t understand. I have to do it. Everyone else—” Her eyes squeezed shut, face contorting into a grimace. “Mulder, I…” Sighing, she opened her eyes, blinking away her tears. “They’re shutting down the study.” She choked out the words, like it hurt to say them.
His heart dropped. Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago he thought he could do this forever? Now that it was a possibility, he couldn’t stand waiting another second. Ignoring his instinct to yell and scream, to shout to the sky at how unfair all of this was, he clenched his jaw and sat up.
“It’s just Mario and I now, Mulder.”
“They’re just giving up? After keeping all of this from you?”
“They’re-they’re getting heat from the administration. The experiment uses a lot of power and they want results. They’ve held them back so far, but… The others have left, as requested. We’ve been doing our best…”
“Scully.”
“We’ve only got time for a few more leaps, Mulder. I’m sorry.”
He bowed his head, tracing the pattern of the rug underneath him. Swirling orange circles in a field of blue. It reminded him of her hair. Her eyes. And, though her projection was exactly as he remembered, it was merely a good copy. A perfect one. But it wasn’t the real thing.
He laid back down, moving as close as he could without breaking the illusion. “You’ll manage. You’ll get me back. I believe in you, even if you don’t.” He reached his hand out, splaying his fingers wide. She mimicked the gesture, the gap between their hands distorting the closer they got to each other.
“I don’t want to leave,” she said. Her eyes shone, then they closed. A tear escaped, running sideways down her face. Though it fell, it would never reach the floor of the apartment that was his current home.
He willed himself to stay calm, at least for her sake. “Stay a bit longer. You need to rest. Then we’ll think of something.”
She was wrestling with something, but eventually she gave in and nodded and closed her eyes.
Did she struggle with the same thing as he did? The need for her to be close. To talk to her. They didn’t have much time left. Even though he pretended to hope for her sake, it would be fitting, for him, to lose the one person he felt he finally had a connection with. His person. Did it count as murder, if he leaped into someone and stayed there?
She slept for an hour. Then she was gone, once again. It was unfair, but it couldn’t be any other way.
She couldn’t save him while she was here.

Take A Left At Andromeda

The sound of metal against metal was drowned out by some kind of funky alien pop song blasting through the headset-attachment of Tommy's Portable Advanced Communicator- Prototype X2 to be specific- luxurious, he knows. He likes to call them Space iPhones, or PACs for short.
He swayed his head to the beat of the music from where he sat cross-legged on the cold metal floor of the ship he was working on, and honestly he was being underpaid for the amount of trouble he was having. The newer models were always the worst, but it wasn’t anything a wrench couldn’t fix.
With a loud slurp of his favorite packaged space-drink, he tightened the last bolt. It was a Capri-Sol, by the way. Such is life for the best damn mechanic this side of the galaxy.

Tommy has spent a long time on the planet LO-3-32, and though not by choice, he's built up his own life there. He has a home and a workshop from which to repair spaceships. He's even mostly learned to speak whatever language the aliens around him do! Little does he know that the suspiciously wrecked ship he just agreed to repair will lead him far away from the life he's built, and it's all thanks to three aliens on the run.

"The Plagues." From Surah Seven, Al Araf, "The Heights."
Ramadan Day 5.
We now know Allah sent the Archangel Gabriel to Muhammad to give him the Quran, an Account of the spiritual successes and failures of mankind up to that point, except in Arabic. He retained the original bedrock of the Torah, the Numbers, and this names Zakah as the top priority for all the religions of mankind.
The Torah and the Quran also say mankind must repent of its failure to show proper respect for God when it insists on disobeying the Pillar of Zakah or it will lose the benefits of His Grace.
All Muslims understand the importance of Zakah. Those who choose not to believe in God and observe Zakah must be dealt with according to the Quran:
7: 130-136.
Indeed, We afflicted Pharaoh’s people with famine and shortage of crops so they might come back ˹to their senses˺.
In times of prosperity, they said, “This is what we deserve,” but in adversity, they blamed it on Moses and those with him.1 Surely all is destined by Allah. Yet most of them did not know.
They said, “No matter what sign you may bring to deceive us, we will never believe in you.”
So We plagued them with floods, locusts, lice, frogs, and blood—all as clear signs, but they persisted in arrogance and were a wicked people.
When tormented, they pleaded, “O Moses! Pray to your Lord on our behalf, by virtue of the covenant He made with you. If you help remove this torment from us, we will certainly believe in you and let the Children of Israel go with you.”
But as soon as We removed the torment from them—until they met their inevitable fate1—they broke their promise.
So We inflicted punishment upon them, drowning them in the sea for denying Our signs and being heedless of them.
Commentary:
The Plagues are symbolic of ways tyrants oppress their societies and warp them, turning them the opposite direction of Allah called Allat, the krispy k'ream daughter of Allah who married a jinn.
The way to end a plague is to turn the tide. It is nice to think a bunch of knights are going ride up with their lances brandished and kill Muhammad bin Salman and his weird friends, or the same with Vladimir Putin or the Conehead in Iran but the oneness of freedom always lies with the oppressed. Plagues are a sign an Arby Q of one's oppressor is long overdue.
A society that is not able to observe the Pillars because of a tyrant must make changes. The Values in Gematria are:
v. 130: Indeed, We afflicted Pharaoh’s people with famine and shortage of crops. The Value in Gematria is 5040, האֶפֶסדאֶפֶס, apsadapes, "Understanding of why there is damage to the field." Also "understanding of what is in the dresser," AKA the Quran.
v. 131: In times of prosperity, they said, “This is what we deserve.” The Value in Gematria is 12965, היבטו "Look."
v. 132: No matter what sign you may bring to deceive us, we will never believe in you. The Value in Gematria is 8697, חוטז , hotez, "Splashed." =splashing of the blood. Persons who cannot accept the Pillars and the laws have to be sacrificed according to the tenets of law. All of us live according to the sufferance of the law.
v. 133: So We plagued them with floods, locusts, lice, frogs, and blood—all as clear signs, but they persisted in arrogance and were a wicked people.The Value in Gematria is 7934, זטגד, ZTGD, "they will resist."
v. 134: When tormented, they pleaded. The Value in Gematria is 15578, י״ההזח the 10th Pier:
“You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's” (Ex. 20:17).
v. 135: But they broke their promise. The Value in Gematria is 6728, וזבח "and immolate,"
v. 136: So We inflicted punishment upon them, drowning them in the sea for denying Our signs and being heedless of them. The Value in Gematria is 5588, ההחח, "double the fire."
When people become jealous and start to covet, and change their will to power from ordinary elections, commerce, the means to securing wealth and a good reputation, all the elements contained in the 10th Commandment and no longer observe Zakah, the Quran says to immolate them, "offer as a sacrifice by burning."
In fact, the script says to double the fire by removing them from office, taking their power, wealth, possessions, freedom, and if their crimes justify legal capital punishment do that too. Most of all Allah's reputation and that of His Prophet must supersede that of a tyrant.
The name of Muhammad must never be used by or in association with a tyrant or oppressor. This is blasphemy against God and cannot be tolerated. When this happens, the only way mankind can atone for it is to grant the oppressed their freedom.
