Fuchsia Bloom Mandala | Free Crochet Pattern
Crochet this pretty and bright African flower motif mandala for a happy vibrant start to 2017 using a simple combination of treble crochet (US dc) stitches and chains with this week's free crochet mandala pattern.
Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a wonderful start to 2017.. I am excited to see what it has in store!
January is always a bit of a blurgh month for us, with site very quiet at the start of a New Year, so I wanted the very first Monday Mandala of the year to be bright and vibrant and full of colour.
With an African flower centred motif, this crochet mandala works up quickly using a combination of basic crochet stitches.
I used my trusty 4.5mm crochet hook and yummy DK yarn by Paintbox Yarns from +LoveCrochet.com . The lilac sparkle is Hayfield Baby Sparkle from +Hobbycraft.
This one measures approx 16" across and is perfect for mounting in a hoop or as a table dressing.
As with all my patterns, there are no set rules! Pick your own colours, yarn weights and change up a stitch if you want to. Embracing and celebrating your own creativity is what makes Fibre Art so awesome!!
