alright,,

his mood can be all over the place sometimes, i think... kind of like b4 the "no"? "no <3" scene yk? he goes from jumping in joy and excited ab the play to angry at todd to feeling guilty about being angry in like two minutes

associates anger and aggression with his father, so he always feels guilty about expressing any kind of frustration, and represses it a lot. hence some blow-ups.

when he does blow up:

talks a lot... like... he's lucky his friends love him bc he can bring up some dirt if he's really in over his head... (as seen here near the end). but also it helps him process his emotions, so if there's someone to listen to him, without commenting or interrupting, he'll basically talk himself down

or more like he'll talk himself into crying, but still, that's healthier than insulting ppl that are trying to help you so...
