Masters of the Universe Part 1
Awhile back, I got bored and was doodling with HeroForge(an online tool for making mini's for table top rpg's) and decided I was going to do all of the Masters of the Universe characters from He-Man and She-Ra from when I was a kid. I put my own twist on them and they are done with the items that were available when I made them in the first place. So I could probably update a few now but I wanted to share.
So from top to bottom. Beast Man, Buzz Off, Evillyn, He-Man, King Hiss, Kobra Khan, Lady Slither, Man at Arms, Merman, Orko, Prince Adam, Rattlor, Skeletor, Two Bad, The Sorceress, Stratos, Teela, Trapjaw, Triklops, and Tung Lashor.
My Snake Mountain guys are probably the biggest change, with Tung Lashor being based off a blue tailed skink instead of a frog.
She-Ra stuff will be in another post.

When I was in about 3rd or 4th grade, black and white saddle shoes were in for the preppy crowd. I so wanted a pair of black and white saddle shoes. They didn't even have to be any kind of brand name; K-mart sold black and white saddle shoes. But my mom, who had been forced to wear saddle shoes in the late '50's and early '60's, was dead set against buying me saddle shoes. I'm sure she, a post-Woodstock hippie (my parents went to high school less than 20 miles from the farm that hosted Woodstock, but too young to go) she had promised herself in her youth that she would never make her kids wear saddle shoes.
But she did let me get a pair of black, faux-leather, heeled, slouchy ankle boots that a classmate's mother call, 'slutty'. I wore them over my black stir-up pants, aqua slouch socks, and oversized aqua and black striped sweater! She also let me mall-rat my hair.
