Nikki Sixx - You're All I Need

Prompt(s) used - N/A Preface - After a long, excruciating tour, Nikki comes home to find his one love asleep. A/N: Fluff, Exhaustion, Stress, etc. themes.

While you rest, Nikki carefully opened the door to your guys' shared bedroom, gently pulling his boots off of his spent body. The withered feeling of the entire tour finally setting in when he got the chance to genuinely relax. Though his body ached and fingers sore from beating on his poor, poor bass, he was relieved to see you lying there still and calm.

Gently lying down beside you, he softly groans at the feeling of sinking into the plush, warm bed as he rolls over to hold you close. Inhaling your scent and feeling your touch for the first time in months was so relieving to him. You were his home. Soon after, you began to stir and wake, seeing your lovely husband lying with you.

"Hi, honey. I'm glad you're home, how are you feeling?" You cooed tiredly.

He quietly shushed you and wrapped his arms around you. Touring was stressful and exhausting, there was never a moment of quiet until Nikki got home and curled up next to you. His breath was steady, chest rising and falling as you felt his soft breathing on your shoulder.

"Shush, my love. Just let me hold you for a while." He said softly, almost to where you couldn't hear him. You turned on your guys' heated blanket on 'high' so he could warm up.

Nikki was always somehow cold when it came to getting home after tour. Even during the summer, he ended up cold in some way. Really though, Nikki just missed you. He only wants to be with you. On the rare occasion you came along on tour, he often isolated himself from everyone else to be with you. The big and bad Nikki Sixx was a mushball of love.

He nuzzled into you and hummed lightly. "I missed you. More than ever. I know I say that every tour, but I mean it. Every passing tour is just miserable without you." You gave him a small peck on his lips, with a restful voice.

"I know, Nik. You have no clue how much I think of you while you're gone." He smiled softly at your comment, always being fond of your sweet words. You always knew what to say to him and it was always appreciated, even if he sucked at showing it sometimes.

Nikki paused a moment before responding.

"Can I take you out on a date night?" Sure, you two have been seeing each other for some time now, but he never really asked to take you out on a date night.

You thought for a few moments. Was this just the sleep deprivation getting to him, or was he being serious? "Darling? My love, are you okay?" That was all you needed. A cue that said it was the real Nikki, passionately in love with you. "I'd love that, Nikki. How about Saturday at Bennigan's?" "I'll be ready at 6 pm sharp." Edit: Sorry it's so short, this was incredibly rushed, I'm looking forward to putting out some more lengthy stories soon!
