p. 177 Ulala Poem
This is a "poem" written by Ulala (22), a Space Channel 5 reporter. Her hopes for the future after the incident (which she made no direct comment on) have been poured into every word. After reading it, the station's director, Fuse, refrained from publishing it, so Ulala turned it in to the Space Police herself. It was then seized, or rather received, as a part of the case file. The full text is shown below.

All of them, except for "Ulala’s Mic" are gifts collected after some exchanges with key individuals registered in the Character Profile index. I technically made this months ago, but I did design an SC5 OC using various features that I like, and I’d say character design is a big part of aesthetics. If it isn’t obvious, I do like a lot of designs with a lot of rings on it, like Evila’s pigtails and Noize’s boots, or 88MAN’s body. I really need to draw him more, but I’ve been busy with work.

Space Channel 5 Gyun Gyun Book p. 84-87 (Translations by @lavoszero and myself. Edit by myself.)
Guide pages for Report 3.

Plain text below.
p. 84
Asteroid Belt Abandoned spaceships were discovered floating within the Asteroid Belt! It's a bit nerve-wracking, but we just gotta keep shooting! Anyways, the A button is used a lot here, so make sure to press that button quickly and accurately!
Act. 1 Shooting Rival reporters, like Tachibana and 88man, also appear among the meteorites. Use that A button to destroy those rocks and keep them from stealing the scoop! During the 6th set, there are two points where you need to press “A” within two beats. Make sure not to overshoot it in the heat of the moment.
Help Us! No.30: Reporter (Tachibana) >P. 105 No.31: Reporter (88Man) >P. 105
Act. 2 Shooting There’s a variety of commands in the first three sets which can make following the rhythm pretty difficult. At the 4th set it switches to a short, simple rhythm, which can really throw you off. So don’t trip over the beat when you get to this part! If you're too into the first part’s groove, you might put in too many inputs and fail.
Help Us! No.16: Space Pirate (Male) >P. 105 No.17: Space Pirate (Female) >P. 105
p. 85
Base Passage 1 The psychedelic colors and odd protrusions stretching from side to side were put in the base to stop invading intruders. The setting coupled with the unusual setup to these sets can really trip you out and up here!
Act. 1 Dance Beware of the 3rd and 4th sets! There isn’t a single pause between the inputs on 3rd and 4th beat, so you have to input “→↓↓” in quick succession. Actually, scratch that beware part. You get more hearts here than there are sets. Even if you mess up completely, you’ll always rescue Pudding, so take it nice and easy.
Help me! No.01: Pudding >P. 102=
Act 2. Shooting
You gotta shoot downward for some inputs here, a rare treat in this game. These little whac-a-mole (molero?) creatures will pop out of their holes for their commands. But once it’s Ulala’s turn, they’ll go back to hiding. Basically, you better commit their sounds to memory when they first appear on screen because they won’t physically show up again until it’s time to attack!
[Translator’s notes: They really call them whac-a-moles, and just whac-a-moles. Really missed opportunity on their part to make a pun]
p. 86
Head Office Morolin! Monroe! From out the huge TV jumps out twin robots, Morolin! Monroe! It’s a difficult fight with a complicated rhythm and with commands great in number and quick in succession. Another highlight is teaming up with Jaguar to defeat them!
Dancing Robot Invader No. 3 Morolin! Monroe!
Height: 0~18 Morometers (Morolin!)/ 0~18.5 Morometers (Monroe!) Weight: 0~90 Morograms (Morolin!)  / 0~95 Morograms (Monroe!) Special: Ghost beam, monitor bullet
Has three different forms. It has a variety of attack patterns; when divided into two, it attacks with monitor images, so called “monitor bullets,” for instance.
p. 87
Act. 1 On 5th set of Act.1, waiting for Ulala to finish speaking tends to delay all your other inputs. Just ignore her and press the buttons at your own pace.
Act. 2 On Act. 2, the twins will stretch in the direction of the inputs. During Ulala’s turn, they’ll shrink in the same direction they extended, so it’s still easy to follow the line. You still gotta be careful with timing those "chus" though.
Act. 3 and Act. 4 For Act. 3 and 4, keep a close eye on the order the monitors come out in and their pictures (they’re your cue for using the A or B button). For monitors lined up together, shoot starting from the top left. Don’t get distracted by the twins moving, just focus on the monitors!
Base Passage 2
Act. 1 The gameplay here really sets the mood for a frantic escape; the music's tempo speeds up and the sets suddenly get super short and quick starting at the 5th one. Sets 5-12 only last two beats, make just one mistake and you may never get back into the groove. Don’t miss rescuing the Leader Moro that got caught up in the blast!
Help me! No.63: Drummer Man >P. 113

Space Channel 5 Part 2 Sugoku Sugoi Guide Book p.008-013 and 020-021 (Translation by @lavoszero and myself. Edit by myself)
Please excuse the excessive amounts of typefaces, that’s just how this book is. My favorite details are Noize saying he’ll tell them secrets so long as they keep it to themselves only for it to be published in a book and that fact that Ulala’s white outfit is just her normal orange one inside-out.
Edit: Fixed a typo. Noize says their usual rating aren’t that spectacular on page 10. Edit: 6/27/22, new scans, some minor translation tweaks.

Noize's Evaluation: Rumors & Impressions of Co-workers As I said before, my main job is being the operator for “Ulala’s Swingin’ Report Show.” The other day Channel 5 was in the spotlight due to the Morolian Invasion… hmm. Well, I guess things here haven’t changed much. Anyway, since we were directly and deeply involved with the Rhythm Rogues Incident, I’ll of course cooperate with investigation. I'll give you some facts about my co-workers and even tell you some secrets about them that aren’t directly related to the case as long as you keep it to yourself. I'll tell you everything I know.
Ms. Ulala. Like me, she's part of the Special Report Team as the lead reporter. She gives it her all every day 'cause she wants to be the best reporter in the galaxy. She often plays dumb to hide her true anxieties, I get the impression that she acts like a big goofball to cover her outburst of feelings, her resolve must be strong. She always wears headphones so sometimes when I try to talk to her, I get an “ah?” as a reply instead… I know some other details about her, too. She was born on May 30th, 2477 at 1:18 AM and is 22 years old. Blood type is B. Favorite food is space peking duck. Just between us, she gets pumped up and excited whenever she sees Mr. Jaguar.

Chief Space Michael You know Space Michael, the super star that rocked the galaxy? Since Blank left after the Morolian Invasion scandal, we requested Space Michael to become our new Chief. You can say Space Michael my ultimate boss! He gives the Special Report Team direct instructions! He usually stays at the headquarters, it seems that he doesn’t to dance as a much as he wants anymore, I feel kinda bad or rather I apologize for that. That being said, I frequently see him chatting with other staff members in the staff cafeteria (laughs).
Director Fuse The Special Report Team's director, in other words, my boss. There is this kinda old-fashioned TV man-like vibe to him. He's an electrifying person with lots of skill and talent but true to his name, once he blows his fuse, he can be pretty scary. Sometimes when he's giving Ms. Ulala instructions from the Astrobeat, I catch him acting differently from his normal behavior and instead acting flamboyantly… Ah, that's right. Maybe Mr. Fuse doesn't like to be photographed—I don't have any photos of him—so I asked Ms. Ulala to draw a portrait of him. Ah… this isn't Mr. Fuse… these are actual fuses. Ms. Ulala… this is way too literal.

Noize's Evaluation: Space Broadcasting is Really Fierce 1
Channel 5 only stands out because off all the incidents around us that happen by chance, our usual ratings aren’t that spectacular. I guess it can't be helped (laughs). It’s been about 100 years since the first space channel launched, (Pine’s note: Space channels can distribute broadcasts over approximately 1.5 million light-years in diameter through the use of the dimensional curve) and now we’re in the multi-channel age with about 300 of them. Man, Channel 01 really had a big impact. It's a smorgasbord now. I’m relieved only a few stations have special news programs. Well, specifically…
Space Channel 5 First is Channel 5. Well, it's pretty run of the mill, a long-established and comprehensive station in the Space Broadcasting industry. A long time ago it used to be popular but right now… not so much. There isn’t anything that really stands out. That’s why we want to get it back on track with our Special Report Team.

Noize's Evaluation: Space Broadcasting is Really Fierce 2
Space Channel 42 Channel 42 has been gaining popularity among the younger generation ever since it changed its focus on being a “Music Company” six years ago. It also seems that they’re focusing on publishing music. After Pudding became its idol, it was no longer a small company.

Space Channel 88 Trying to differentiate itself from others, this station incorporates the latest technology in its broadcasts. For instance, it was the first station to invent a robot reporter installed with a super AI before anyone else as to stay ahead of rival stations. It’s a relatively small business but still big in the industry. Personally, I like this station.

Moro Chan 5 I don’t… I don’t think this is a real station. Since the people of Earth are in charge of alien affairs, after everything settled down they allowed the Morolians to stay in their UFOs and obtain a broadcasting license in accordance to regulation laws. Even though in actuality, they just wanted one to "play" with Space Channel 5's broadcasting equipment.

Space Channel 01 I think you know this already, but this is the station that manages Space Broadcasting. Maybe because it's such a role model to other stations that there are still many other broadcasts that stick to the basics. "Simple and concise" as they say. I'm surprised with how many new programs are coming out of the blue lately. Mr. Tachibana is their greatest asset.

Noize's Evaluation: The Start of the Rhythm Rogues' Attack
It was 9 A.M. On that day, as per usual, we were preparing to broadcast "Good Morning Ulala" which was supposed to start at 5:45 on the Space Symphony's main floor. Afterwards, when "Good Morning Ulala" finished, the Space Broadcasting Association was going to air their program "Space News" at 7 A.M. while we waited for "Good Morning! Go Go Cheerleaders!" to air. We were planning to return to the station at 9 A.M., take a break, and then spend the rest of the afternoon preparing for the "Ulala's Report Show" at 18:30. However, when we just started to begin preparing for "Good Morning Ulala," we got a message (in English) from Chief Space Michael. “Please get the special report team ready and rush to the scene!"… When the Chief’s emergency message got to us, our schedule changed completely. Mr. Fuse quickly got really serious, but Ms. Ulala, who was asleep at the time, hurriedly got up and put her outfit on. You know, she didn't turn it right-side out so that's why her report uniform wasn't orange. The distance between our headquarters and the Space Symphony was only about 3 hours away, so that's why the Astrobeat was able to get there in just a few minutes. I wasn't sent out, so behind the scenes I quickly got the new white uniforms accessories that the station sent for a spring festival so she could hurry and change into it. Space Pirate Broadcasting Station Space Pirates Channel Trade Name: None Number of Employees: Unknown Work Motto: We are the voice of Truth
They're an illegal (also unlicensed by the Space Broadcasting Association) channel that doesn't focus on earning money, so not that many people have heard about it. However, their recent reports are well documented and known for providing honest information. They're amazing. Viewers who admire Jaguar often want to become a member. But even we don't know how to manage that. We just don't know.
Lead Reporter (?) of the Space Pirate Broadcasting Station
JAGUAR (jagā)   BIRTH: 2464 BLOOD:  AB GENDER: MALE
35 years old. Leader and reporter of the Space Pirate Broadcasting System. Rumor has it that Jaguar was once a Space Channel 5 reporter, but was fried after discovering that the spaceship accident was setup by Blank. If that's true, then it's understandable why he decided to continue reporting as a Space Pirate to reveal the truth. It also appears that the hero of that tragedy, who is being chased by the entire Space Broadcasting world, resembles Ulala's first crush.

Other scoundrels like Blank will never be tolerated! No hearsay!
Jaguar 64
Apparently, during "Urgent Special News Programs" a short film about Jaguar plays between certain broadcasts? It has no official title, but is unofficially titled as Jaguar and his year of birth.
[Translator’s note: The Space Pirate’s motto is the same thing Jaguar says i Japanese when after the others say his name .]

Ulala: Pudding has a reporter’s spirit after all, huh?
-
Pudding: Ulala, thank you for helping me at the Morolian Secret Base. I really appreciated it. Ulala: Huh? But when you said "I could use a hand here" it didn't sound that sincere. Pudding: That's because I couldn't decide if I wanted your help! And you seeing me be forced to dance that freaky dance was so embarrassing! Ulala: Settle down, settle down. By the way, Pudding, how has work been lately? Pudding: It's been going good. I've got a new single being released. Ulala: Hey now, that's wonderful! A reporter who's able to both sing and dance. Hey Pudding, didn't you used to be an idol? Ever thought of making another debut performance? And why did you decide to quit being an idol? Pudding: Oh! Well… I wanted a change of careers. When I was an idol, I sold a lot of records, so the publishers gave me the okay. What about you Ulala, why did you become a reporter? Ulala: Oh, right. Mm… The reason why I became a reporter. It's a bit of a long story, is that alright? Ten years ago, I was thrown into space during a spaceship accident. There was a reporter who saved me during that time, so I wanted to find that person again. I wanted to thank that reporter and tell him how grateful I am for rescuing me, that's why I joined Channel 5 when I heard he used to report here. I still sometimes find myself wondering who that reporter could've been.
Pudding: Hmm. So, it's like your first crush. Ulala: Uuh, I guess. Anyways, I was so curious that I went through old recordings, but for some reason they were all erased. I also feel like I've met someone similar to that person recently, who was it again? Pudding: Maybe it's Jaguar! Haha, just kidding ~. Ulala: I think I'll remember when I meet that person again. It's definitely not the director, who's always complaining about me and yelling at me, or Blank since he's in prison. And definitely not Space Michael, he's way too old. Pudding: Huh!? S-seriously? …Then it's-! Ulala: Pudding, why are you so riled up? Pudding: No, no, it's nothing. Yep, hmm, nothing at all… Ulala: It's hard to remember details of an old memory from such a difficult time. By the way, do you have a boyfriend? Pudding: No way! If I did, then I'd be constantly chased by those weekly magazine paparazzi! Plus, don't you think that my bodyguards, who have been with me for ten years, would be so sad if I did that, too? Ulala: I understand. I guess you still have that idol image to uphold. It must be difficult. Pudding: Augh, please stop bringing up my past as an idol! Ulala: Okay, okay. I'll change the subject, is there anyone in another broadcasting station that you admire? My choice is 88MAN. Being able to calmly broadcast in something dangerous like a gas cloud is really impressive. Pudding: Hmmm. You might not believe me when I say this, but I often watch soccer on Space Sports 1. And the Space Cup, which Channel 01 broadcasts to the whole galaxy. I really enjoy watching Tachibana's live performances before the show starts too. And I like talking about the broadcast "November, 2499, the Mars Stadium. Is There a Way for This Red-Stained Team to Reach the Space Cup Finals!?" but whenever I watch it, it makes me tear up. It's only at times like this that I regret my choice of style with my broadcasting programs~. Ulala: Pudding, you have a reporter's spirit after all. I can see it within you. Pudding: Naturally, since we're both great reporters. But looks like it’s the end of the interview. Let's both do our best to support one and another!
- Pudding: Being forced to dance that freaky dance was so embarrassing.
