Currently having some late night thoughts..

I just twote about 8H placements preferring to hide their talents & honestly even tho we know 8H placements come with secrecy it’s still somewhat baffling to me.

Because, why do we do that??

Then it hit me that it’s probably due to a sort of sense of “self preservation”.

Almost like if we share ourselves with others, we will lose a part of ourselves in some way..

Also the fact that the 2H is value, the 8H is lack, & is also what/how other people value things..

Which means we also expose us to potential devaluation if the way they gauge us isn’t “as much” as the way we defined our own worth.

This devaluation would equate to them “ruining” / “damaging” our worth in a way hence the need to self preserve.

I’ll never befriend another girl that I have 8th house synastry with. They almost always turn out to be a frenemy. Well, it’s only happened to me twice lmao but that’s enough times for me considering I make a new friend like once every two years.

I have sun + Venus in the 8th house and both times, these girls went after a boy they knew i had a crush on. And they would always lowkey act mean towards me whenever the opposite sex showed me attention and i would get bad vibes from them but i used to be so pressed to have friends that i would just ignore it.

aqua venus people often are described as being fickle. which I don't think is true, tbh. aquarius is a fixed sign. once they have decided on you as a friend/romantic partner/whatever, they will be loyal and stay for a long time. they need freedom to be, though. like spending time with other people or pursuing their hobbies. actually they often don't mind doing this together with their romantic partners. since quarius is also associated with social circles and friendships, they could really enjoy having you around when doing "their stuff" since they probably will see you not only as their partner but for the most part as their best friend.

gemini venus looooves texting or any way of communication through technical devices like smartphones or laptops etc. I mean, the communication part is obvious (gemini being a sign heavily associated with communication, information, ...). the tech part could be mercury ruling the sign? mercury is, besides uranus, often linked to technology and networks as well.

you can see SO many patterns in family charts. e.g. a client of mine has a sun venus conjunction in the 9th, her dad has a sun venus conjunction in the 8th. both have jupiter in earth signs in the 10th conjunct the MC as well.

tw child abuse then: a friend of mine and both of her sisters all have mars in the 1st house. they all had to endure some kind of abuse in their childhood. didn't check for asteroids but I could see chiron or dejenera being there as well.

Trying to learn about natal aspects….man I have a long way to go….so I’m tropical astrology I have Venus in the 8th house. I also have Venus trine Pluto. They sound the same when I read about them for example both of them mention me having intense relationships essential to my evolution and I’m wondering if both placements need to exist together or is it possible to have one and not the other? Like is it possible to have a Venus 8th house and not Venus tribe Pluto or would you see someone with a Venus 8th house in their chart and automatically know that they have Venus trine Pluto. I need to either consult an astrologer for this or look at peoples charts myself.

Death belongs to the realm of faith.

Yeah! So, 8th House Venus placements are pretty intense. That's not a bad thing. It just means that you'll experience your most growth and transformation through romantic relationships, friendships, marriage, money, and art. But mostly your interpersonal connections.

You'll likely click with someone romantically if they have depth. You might want a soul connection with this person instead of just a compatibility connection. You figuratively want both of you to become one person. So someone whose looking for a connection similar to that.
