Was the funny comic I made not yet quite relevant for where the anime is currently at? SURE WAS.#Funny comic will be next week. This week is for THE GIRLS!!!#Tade is adorable and a lot of fun to draw. I really love her friendship with Izutsumi.#speaking of...IZUTSUMI IS FINALLY HERE!#Initially I wasn't going to draw Beni and Hien but I would hate to let the few fans they have.#So here's some Beni and Hien. For all five of you Beni and Hein fans.#Makeup girls are wild because they'll be like 'I'm getting ready to go out!' and then take 60-90 min in front of the mirror.#I adore the bonus comics where Ryoto Kui does the step by steps of how characters do their makeup and hair.#I personally know very little about those things so it's cool to see how thought out it all is.

I will always be a normal guy defender, I don't want vigilantes who always look like super models unless it makes sense for their characters (Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Kori Anders). I want super-heros that look like the guy you could stumble on the supermarket. Your classmate. Your coworker. A random face in a ocean of people. Absolutely and completely forgetful unless you love them.

I want super-heros to take of their mask and the person be like "THAT'S JUST SOME GUY." their face leak and people be like "WHO 🗣️🗣️ THE FUCK IS THAT⁉️‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥" enough with conventionally attractive heros who look like bodybuilders more some heros who would be your Uber driver and you wouldn't pay attention to them twice.

#I know beuty sells but something about the reali of this really got me #specially about characters like Peter Parker Jason Todd or Barbara Gordon #there's no need for them to be an IMVU character #this is why I loved Barbara Gordon design in Gotham Knights and her old design in the 90's #because she IS pretty #but she looks like a girl I could borrow a pencil on class or sit next to the subway #and not callie jenner sister #q rambles

Illustration 15 1998, 力ードダスSP力ード2 (I believe this is the CARDASS collectible cards? A couple sets were made, but I could be wrong.) She was told to "make it as naughty as possible." I can't help but feel like this piece was started and finished in the same session, by someone so consumed in their work that they sat on a full bladder for hours. Don't look at me like that you know exactly what I mean and if you don't, find something that teaches you.

Illustration 12 Newtype Magazine, May 1997, Poster Saito's commentary about this one is something about spooning letting people be in one place and anyway what I need to stress is that I didn't actually choose only gay ass pics, my selection criteria was 'what did Vanna think Tumblr would like' and OOPS it's a Pride parade
