With some time to retrospect, I think that the greatest thing about the Bi Buck arc in 7.04 is that, even if Buck genuinely had a crush on Tommy and was genuinely seeking Tommy's attention the whole time (and not just displacing his feelings for/about Eddie), that means that this is what Buck acts like when he's interested in a man. The confused jealousy, the attention-seeking, all of it. That's what Buck does when he has a crush on a man. Canonically.

...Which, uh. Which definitely reframes 2.01 a little bit. Just a little...

The LAFD mandates that all new hires complete their heat or rut leave prior to their probationary year as vacation accruals take time. Newly divorced, Eddie turns up at the Center to undergo his rut in privacy before starting at the 118. There, he meets an atypical omega whose heat partner forgot about him and whose only criteria is that his alpha be kind.

omg ok so for that one I did a little bit of world building for my brainstorming and basically hen, buck, and Maddie are witches, Eddie, Chris, and Athena are werewolves, and bobby is half fae. chim is human and he's just like "how did I accidentally get adopted into a coven/werewolf pack. what the fuck is happening"

basically Chris fucks around with a box of trinkets Maddie brought over to give to buck so that jee wouldn't go around touching them (she's at that age now) and accidentally brings the firefam from mid 2.01 into the Buckley Diaz house and they all get to see where they are three years later and be like 😯😯

it's gonna be buck and Eddie centric bc um. hello projection but I'm excited for it. it's for one of my 911 bingo prompts
