Eddie meets Tommy Kinard during “a helicopter-related rescue” and later on—Eddie and Tommy are in the middle of a basketball game—in a scene focusing on Buck’s jealousy.

Buck looks so much more upset at the way Eddie and Tommy seem to be getting on.

Seems very territorial; somewhat possessive (maybe a bit hurt)? I fucking love it!

Rewatching the 911/911 Lone Star crossover and I am going to explode

Buck starts out shit talking and being competitive with TK then Buck compliments TK after he saved him saying he had "nice moves"

Buck comforts TK when he's upset and offers to do something reckless to help him before telling him, and only him btw, he wants to see him again

TK sees all of this and thinks Buck must be flirting because why wouldn't he but this is EXACTLY how Buck acted when he met Eddie

Someone is reading these situations wrong and I don't think it's TK

IMDb.com says—Episode 06, titled, “There Goes the Groom,” will air on May 2nd—amidst rumors that the show’s working through a series of re-shoots (may be true) so we’ll be waiting 3 weeks for our next 9-1-1 fix. I got my syringe ready. Do you?

In the mean time—contemplating, further, the Buck/Tommy thing—it seems Buck’s bisexual awakening began as far back as when Eddie joined the 118 [s02e01] not during the Tommy kiss [s07e04] so this has been 5 years in the making, for Buck.

Buck’s had quite a lot of emotional unpacking since s02 with myriad stops allowing him to explore all the female so-called love interests along the way—some of whom even made solid contributions to his growth. I don’t take that away from them.

But the first time Buck laid eyes on Eddie (without yet uttering a single word to him) his presence, alone, kick-started a gradual unlocking of Buck’s sexuality which was clearly, already, simmering just below the surface.

Being that that is a significant piece of evidence, all by itself—I can never credit Tommy’s kiss as triggering Buck’s bisexual awakening—even if Buck decides he wants to explore Tommy, a bit further—it has been Eddie, all along.

No but its literally so in character for Buck to be jealous about Eddie & Tommy being friends! Buck's insecurities/abandonment issues come up when new people step in & leave him feeling like he's being replaced/left behind. We saw it when Eddie was first introduced- because he saw this new guy who was seemingly better at everything- his fear of losing his place on the team/his new family made him react. Same with the Lone Star crossover- it takes him time to feel comfortable around new people when he doesn't know where they stand in shifting the firefam dynamics. It's very Buck & it'll be cool to see that brought up & talked about!
