Specifically the friendship of four guys and an old coot who all bonded over shared tragedies regarding Dracula, and their mutual drinking of respect women juice. It really goes to show how vital proper teamwork is in accomplishing ones goals and his missed opportunity in using Mina Harker to undermine all of that.

“How many false trails and false leads could he have led them on if only he’d used a bit of teamwork, even in such a way as that? So much wasted potential there, but I suppose being locked away in a castle leaves one unused to using spies and saboteurs.

A soft whisper carries on the wind, its words a soft poison to the minds of those who hear it:

Gently, the Song of the Night crept into Daryl’s borrowed bedroom, the window left open to let in the cool night air. It was a song of want, a song of temptation, a song that left the young dhampir very, very.... hungry. Opening his eyes, the young man sat up and slid his legs out of bed. He couldn’t help running a tongue over his pointed canines, the thought of piercing warm flesh and tasting its delicious coppery making his pupils contract almost catlike in the night; a tell of his high vampiric appetite.

Quietly, he dressed himself, opened his door and glanced about the temple grounds. No doubt Cronus was already asleep, which meant no asking for a nifty goblet of fresh, warm blood—not that he’d need it. Surely, there were plenty well endowed enough with blood to spare a few pints.
