All my favorite Bag End interior paintings, from my webcomic adaptation of The Hobbit (which you can find on Tumblr here, on Ao3 here, or Webtoon here.) It was important to me to add a lot of detail and coziness to Bag End, to convey why it's so difficult for Bilbo to leave, and the things he’ll be nostalgic for on the journey :’3. A lot of the decorations (particularly in the kitchen) were inspired by the decorations in my grandmother’s house.

KAT very important question how do you think ramattra would react to you giving him pet names? like ram, rama, ramram etc

Direct shortenings of his name have probably happened before, so it's not new, it's just new that you do it. I think the first time you use Ram or Rama he would turn and look at you for a minute to process that you called him that. It's so... informal. He accepts it, though might be a little distracted for a while with why. It means you're familiar with him, and he rather likes that. (Will not let anyone else do it though, if Talon Intern #4387 calls him Ram he will immediately correct him with a fierce "My name is Ramattra.")

If you move into cuter names, Ramram, Rammy, etc. he's a little more stunned and confused about it. Because absolutely nobody has done that before (except maybe Sombra, but she does that with everyone and it's very different than how you do it).

You know his "Gimmicky?" Junkerqueen interaction? It's that exact tone when he turns to you and exasperatedly questions "Ramram???"

If you assert that, yes, you're calling him that, he'll modulate a sigh and let you continue (do not do this "at work" though, as funny as it would be.) If he actually bothers to think about it for a while, he'd actually be happy that you're that comfortable with him... even if he doesn't particularly care for nicknames themselves.

“Lloyd,” Kai starts with an a warning cough. Lloyd cuts him off more bitterly than intended. “What?!” Kai recoils at the harsh tone, with Cole, Jay, and Zane also balking in surprise. Nya shoos them all away and approaches Lloyd with a little less intensity…yet still being direct about the elephant in the room. “You…don’t have to do this, Lloyd,” Nya says, following Lloyd as he insistently gathers up his things for school. “We can’t—we can’t force you into a situation where you’re treated like that. We know we made a big deal out of it, but we didn’t know—didn’t realize—“ “It’s fine.” Lloyd grabs his stacks of extra homework he finished up and shovels them into his bag. “You guys couldn’t have predicted that this is what would happen. But I already told you, I don’t wanna be away from you guys. Even if I did stay at the warehouse, I can’t train alone, and what else am I supposed to do all day by myself?” “He makes a compelling case,” Cole acknowledges, despite being nudged by Jay. Nya bites her lip. “But Lloyd, you don’t deserve to be treated so bad for what your father’s doing—" “But what about the stuff I did?” Lloyd shoots back. “I did unleash the Serpentine. I did unleash Pythor. I did…unleash the Great Devourer…” Lloyd hisses, staring down at the scar on his right hand. He clenches it into a fist before pulling on his gloves to hide the mark. What he can’t see can’t hurt him. “…and all that led to the city getting destroyed, and people getting hurt or worse, and…maybe this is what I deserve. Maybe it’s just a small way to make up for all those mistakes.”
