So it turns out Kairi has somehow been missing from my list of platonic F/Os this entire time - I don’t know how this happened, but, she’s on there now, finally. It may seem odd to an onlooker that she’s listed as being friends with Aria, and that definitely doesn’t happen right away given their differences in terms of what they are, but- it’s because Kairi becomes Aqua’s apprentice after Melody of Memory, and Aria helps teach her and ends up becoming pretty fond of her. Ves is staying in Radiant Garden post-KH3, so she meets and gets to know her there as well.

I also added what I call a “appreciated characters” section to my carrd, for lack of a better term, since.. there are a lot of characters from various sources and series that I really like, but that I don’t really feel right classifying as F/Os of any kinds. In a lot of instances, they’re characters that - if I’d known about selfshipping when I was much younger - I would definitely have had as platonic F/Os and wanted to write about being friends with, but now that I’m older than a lot of them (like Hatsune Miku or Kagamine Rin for instance), it doesn’t really feel right. Or it doesn’t feel right because it wouldn’t really make sense or feel right for any of my self-inserts to be friends with them from a story perspective, just.. me myself. I know my self-inserts are me, but- it’s a bit tricky for me to explain .w.

Anyway, now my arm hurts from typing movements, so that’s not great. Hope everyone’s days are going well, though!
