His class had been on an outing, taking the subway to the mall— honestly, after this, if Iida or Aizawa-sensei didn't swear off the mall entirely, he would —when a villain had attacked. Whether the villain had been attacking them or if they'd just been caught in the crossfire, he didn't know. They had all been on the train car together, laughing about something or other, when the windows shattered like the finest layer of glass.

Bakugou liked playing Animal Crossing. There, he said it. The dumb little animals named even dumber shit like Bubbles were unreasonably cute. Being in debt to an overgrown racoon had never been more relaxing. Doing tedious chores like picking weeds to pay off said debt had somehow become a blessed reprieve from the strenuous UA life.
