Naff, just wow.

Immediately after I finished reading the CS chapter the tears came all at once, streaming down my face and leaving wet streaks down both of my cheeks. It is hard to make me cry like that. I’m floored, just completely stunned.

I’m soooo happy you gave us a chapter like this, giving the characters and the reader a safe space to digest and get some questions answered. It was also much needed after the action filled chapters before it and it’s a nice resting stop before the horrors waiting before us.

Naff, you write so beautifully, I’m looking back at the lines of text I saved to keep for this comment and I’m gonna cry again from just reading them! (Also sorry,, this is gonna be a long one,,,)

They ate and came back to your trailer, where all of your weapons reside. Holy water, silver knives, and bolts, the Latin incantations to exercise beings just like them.

Just, I’m crying at this. To me it holds so much emotional weight. This story is so close to my heart you don’t even know AAAAAAAA

The repeating “Eat.”, “Please. Eat.” and finally “Ask, then eat.” has me on the floor weeping and I don’t know exactly why. Just the ‘ask’ before the ‘eat’ feels so calm and like they’ve fully opened up. Ready to answer any question.

“Yes,” Moon answers softly. “We ate their hearts.”

You jerk in your shock, almost flinging the egg and sausage bit off of your utensil and to the floor.

“You ate his heart?”

Moon becomes completely still. He stares blankly at you then at your chest.

I love that Y/N isn’t afraid of Eclipse, they’re afraid of Eclipse hurting others. This is why they love Y/N, their heart is filled with only compassion and an undying will to protect others. That scene by the gully, my brows still hurt from how much I was furrowing and straining them, I was at the edge of tears the whole way through. (I’m crying rn reading it again)

Hello, I am back, the anon who screamed about catch the wind a while back. I have finished reading. It is the middle of the night, I have a cold and I am full of feelings. Sobbing on the floor. It was SUCH a good read! They are so soft and so in love aaaaaaaa. I am not going to say anything that spoils the ending but MAN.

And now I can finally allow myself to read through all of the prompts you did for them because I cannot be spoilered anymore.

Also on another note I absolutely love Groves. I was so happy every time he showed up. Oh also. The chapter with the uh. How to put this that it's not spoilery. Uh. Chapter 93 (94 bc of the proloug). The moment they saw the Sails. Man I had immediately put together a pretty close guess what was happening and was so excited I was unable to continue reading for a solid 10 minutes. SUCH A NICE PAYOFF!! Man. I just. Love this story so much. Also it is the reason I am now sad for the destruction of the Interceptor besides it being a beautiful ship. She is currently my main inspiration/focus for drawing. Which is a weird thing to take oit of this but landscapes and the likes have always come more naturally to me than characters though I am working on that, too. Anyway I am beginning to ramble even more than at the beginning of this. Such. A. Great. Story. Thank you!

i've really loved doing it so far, it's been such a great hobby and everyone has been so very great that i can't recommend writing for obikin enough there's literally no way to do it wrong because they're batshit about each other with moments of sanity which means they are capable of both a healthy and unhealthy relationship depending on what you want to write and it would feel in character imo that's the beauty of obikin writing

and thank you <3 it's wild to me ive been writing obikin for a year and a half that's a ton of material to wade through i'm happy that's an exciting prospect instead of a daunting one <3

I'm probably the last person who follows this blog to found out it's discontinued but I just wanted to say I'll miss it. I enjoyed the journey and the story. Even if I was a bit, or probably "bit", scared to participate much. I wish I knew sooner so that I could bid you guys farewell and safe travels and all that fun stuff with everyone else, but instead you guys are probably all packed up and ready to go and you guys are just finalizing everything and finishing up the final responses to questions like these.

I truly do wish you guys the best of luck with... whatever you guys plan to do next. What are your guys' plans now that this isn't giving unnecessary stress?

Also why do I feel like, throughout the entire story and even now, the a could just be screaming from all the chaos? Seriously I kind of just felt like it would make sense. Like all the newbies freaking out and all the characters just walking freely or something and the people the have been working there for a long time sip on some coffee or similar beverage and do paperwork like it's an average Tuesday.

Sorry if it's long. I just wanted to get everything out since I'm making this on October 30th and it felt like a "speak now or forever hold your peace" thing. ^^'

We genuinely did like the story that we had come up with, so I might give a summary of each of the acts tomorrow as a sendoff before the final post. I actually have written out parts of the CCC(a) plot or generally things about it in my free time, such as a creepy instructional type piece, and I'll likely continue to do so.

None of us have any concrete plans for things to do, at least content-wise (I mean, it's been two years, some of the mods are in college or are in the midst of applying, so those are their plans). We still write stories all the time, coming up with new things every day. It's one of the ways we bond. There is the desire to make a webcomic, but the problem is that we're mostly writers rather than artists. I'd say "feel free to ask about them", but it would take ages to even give brief descriptions of all of your options, no matter how much we'd love to talk about them. If you really want to hear about some of them, hit me up at @owo-whats-bliss , since I kind of have a lot of it saved in my brain.

The A in CCC(a) didn’t stand for anything, and I can't remember why we chose "A" in the first place (it was merely to differentiate the canon CCC). I did occasionally put "the A in CCC(a) stands for AAAAAAAA" as the blog description, so I think your interpretation holds weight. There were horror elements, after all.

Thanks for your kind words. This blog did so much for me, helping me form bonds with others, learn how to manage stress and, to a lesser extent, manage a small team. I ended up being a sort of manager/errand boy by accident. It did a lot for all of us, even if, in the end, all it did was bring us together. I'm grateful for how my life has changed because of this.

She only posts to webtoon and to Instagram afaik, but lilredbeany hasn't been able to give a date yet on when the next season will come out. I think she said she's waiting for webtoon to "renew" it (I can't imagine they wouldn't) which will probably happen after the season finale hits the public, and I think she said she had like, about 4-5 seasons (I could be misremembering it's been like, a week) planned during a livestream she did with her friends recently ^^

I do really recommend checking her Instagram out sometime! She has some really cool art, and there's this really really REALLY cool bus stop photo that she was thinking of turning into a lenticular poster and I just aaaaAAAA. (If she doesn't, I hope she makes the daytime one a print because it's SO cute; she was also working on stickers and finished Tyler's and Logan's and I just Loge seeing what she posts)

AAAAAAAA this fic is truly one of a kind, so much mystery and drama, and it's written so well! The pacing is fantastic and the plot easily draws you in! The only problem is that the author hasn't updated in a while which is a shame since the story was getting so good. The Shinsengumi are investigating a series of kidnappings all throughout Edo, the severity of which necessitates unorthodox alliances with partners both willing and unwilling alike.

Sougo struggles to play nice with others; Kagura gets caught up in others' messes. Everything is different and nothing has changed.

I read this one a while back so I don't remember much of it (I also don't remember if I finished it hfrhtjdm) but it was super funny, and the plot was interesting! Kamui is also a major character which is always fun 😉

Captain Goes Down with the Ship by aruminiumu

Series of random, unrelated interactions between and around Sougo and Kagura.

Story tones and styles will depend on my mood, so hopefully there’s a bit of something for everyone.

Another fic by the author of Lacuna, they have such great humour. I read this one last year so again, I don't remember much about it (sorry aruminiumu hhhgg), but as mentioned in the summary, it's a collection of funny short stories rather than one overarching plot.

2) a bloodthirsty space pirate

3) the only thing in the entire universe that can get them on the same side—a girl. Of course.

This fic hasn't updated since 2020 which is a travesty because it was crazy good 😭😭😭 I'm not sure where the author went, but I hope they're okay. If you don't want to read an unfinished fic, they have other okkg shorts that you can check out!

I read this one years ago, it was rlly cute! Yet another author with plenty of okkg fics to go around, so do check those out as well 😌

Came across this one while looking for fics to rec, it's super cute! This author actually writes a LOT of domestic okkg, I highly recommend browsing their other works if you ever run out of stuff to read

(Shouyou tries to invite Gintoki to Hogwarts. Before he can get a word out, Gintoki tries to shoot him. Things don't get much better from there.

Or: Hogwarts AU in which the joui four are wizards, Shouyou is the headmaster, and Otose is very done with it all.)

This fic lives in my mind rent free. I hate that it only has one chapter, but it's so good 😭

The Joui war was cut short on account of the Earth being blown up. In an unnoticed corner of the universe, Otose watches a seventeen year old Gintoki attempt to raise a four year old Kagura.

Dadtoki. That's it, that's the fic. This one was also written by unidentifiedpie, who is an amazing author. I actually recommend all of their fics because they're all very introspective (not to mention beautifully written), but I'm especially singling out these two because of how deep of an impression they left on me

Pandemonium by Xparrot

The Yorozuya trio gets an unexpected reward. They really should've checked their daily horoscope before accepting: Beware of old women bearing gifts, don't count your lizards before they're hatched, and be careful when life seems too good to be true, because it might be a sign that everything is soon going to go very, very badly.

I never finished this one, but it's very popular in the Gintama community. Let me know your thoughts on this one if you end up giving it a go because I genuinely don't remember much about it.
