So, something I should clarify for copyright reasons, 'I Remember' technically (emphasis on that) takes place in the continuity established by "Trollhunters: The Secret History of Trollkind", the comic published by Dark Horse Comics. It's not 100% a complete copy, but it definitely uses said comic and its counterpart 'The Felled' as a baseline. I'd for sure recommend giving them a read if you're interested, they're really solid installments and have the same feel as the books they tie into.

Speaking of which, a HUGE thank you to @itsmergb for allowing me to use their version of Skarlagk the Scorned, theirs is a really great design and take on the character, I'm still shivering with hype ^^

Course, it's thanks to the work of @undeadchestnut that this has been brought to life for our enjoyment, so another big thank you to her as well :)

About the WIP thing, what's Toby Cried Monster about? It sounds very interesting!

That'd be the fic for the Monster Kids AU (with Sphinx Jim, Gargoyle Toby, Harpy Claire, etc etc)! Specifically, of the starting point where Jim (and then the rest of Arcadia following after) slowly turn into monstrous versions of themselves.

(AKA, a fic I've meant to write for years, but only recently have felt my writing style is up to par on what I want for the story).

I can imagine how horrified Blinky and Aaarrrgghh will be when they learn who exactly cursed Jim for petty reasons (and that it was meant for Barbara) and how much it affected their lives, especially Jim's entire life altered at such a tender age before it even began, and with no one to guide him. I would hope Blinky would vow to be the better paternal figure that was missing in Jim's life.

Once Blinky and AAARRRGGHH learn exactly how Jim was cursed they're going to be horrified and disgusted. Disgusted that someone who had a duty to protect Jim and Barbara hurt them in such a deliberate way, and horrified that Jim was forced to repress himself as a young troll for so long.

Blinky doesn't jump straight into dad territory (have to respect boundaries and all) but from the second he learns the truth he strives to be a source of caring and support for this young half troll.
