Just because it's been boiling my brain, the fandom agrees Ratau is the reason there's so many traps and ambushes in cult of the lamb, right? Because he was a stealth main who vanishes into underground hiding spots/tunnels, taking down units one by one, and sneaking into temples, right?

Because that giant screaming bell thing seems like it'd be a pain for rogues: since it only goes off when enemies are alerted/an enemy dies, then follows the player around till all enemies in that area are defeated. Total stealth killer. They made it especially for him.

Thus the best way to defeat Ratau was to have traps, stakeouts, and ambushes. Instead of general patrols, checkpoints, and unit check-ins since a rogue would just sneak past those. Because unless those doors have a "fixed*" entry point, it's pretty weird to have your whole place covered in traps just in case a crown bearer comes through.

So Apparently Wattpad recently updated it's content guidelines and is going on a massive purge of previously allowed content. Anything marked explicit, LGBT, or fanfiction seems to be getting hit especially hard.

Everything old is new again. I was never big on using Wattpad but I do feel for the authors and fans who are losing their work and likely the feeling of community they built there. Us fandom olds have been there

just spitballing here, joel and tess as a food service power couple. both line cooks, vets of the industry, they spend every break smoking together around the back of the store. reader is a new worker in the front of house, all of them building a rapport through rough work shifts together.

it starts out simple enough. they offer you a ride home since you live pretty close by, tess takes a shift for you, joel sells you weed on occasion, you take tess to get stitches when she accidentally cuts herself in the kitchen, joel keeps asking if this is the day he gets your number and you're never sure if he's kidding. reader is early/mid 20s, they're both early 50s, but it really doesn't bother you when they call you kid or kiddo. honestly, you forget they're dating until you catch them making out in their car after work. they're far from professional, but they're good at their jobs and they're not fans of pda.

which is why it takes you way, way off guard when you reach up to grab something from a high shelf and joel gets it down for you, his other hand smoothing over your stomach where your shirt lifted. you squeak and look around, and tess is right there. one earbud is hanging out of her ear as she preps, but her eyes are on you. she looks thrilled.

I want to write a fic where a bot gets fragged so hard they have someone else's transfluid inside them. As in, inside their own transfluid reserve/balls. And they get so hot from having it inside them, unable to assimilate to their body, knowing that if they screw someone it won't be their nanites impregnating them but this other bot who has completely dominated their body and they just can't help themselves. So they screw their significant other, knowing it's not their transfluid but this other bots.

Their partner has no idea and complements them on their performance and just how rich their transfluid is, how charged up it made them, etc. And it just rubs in how "superior" this other bot is and makes them squirm with need. They know it's wrong but they can't help themselves, getting screwed so much and fantasizing about the idea of their body adjusting to make this other bot's transfluid instead of their own and getting their partner pregnant with it.

Just really complicated cuckholding basically.

I think Megatron is the obvious pick for the bot on top, but I don't think op/elita is the best pick for the other pair. Maybe star/skyfire? Or even drift/rod? It's hard to say. Maybe I'll wait to read more comics and get more complex pairings, like Barricade/jazz/prowl.

You know, we talk a lot about how betrayed Megatron was when Orion stepped up to claim the title of Prime at the council meeting. About how angry he was and justifiably upset. About how Optimus was an idiot and saw it as jealousy, etc.

But we don't talk about how humiliating it must have been for him. He brought Orion with him, called him not only friend, but brother; taught him about functionalism and believed he'd done it so well Orion was a safe person to bring, even though his other friends didn't really agree or like him.

Then the council meeting happens and Orion doesn't stand up for him. He insults the people hosting it when they annoyed him but didn't point out their hypocrisy when it started to benefit him, the newly named Optimus. He ignores when Megatron tells him hes falling into a trap. He betrays Megatron and the people supporting Orion turn their weapons on Megatron to cast him out.

So the person Megatron brings as his best friend, someone he vouched for morally and intellectually, acts like none of those things.

That's embarrassing.

He's mortified because he's actively shown Orion around his home, his friends, and now all of them know Megatron was wrong to trust him, while Orion suffers nothing because he never took Megatron around to meet anyone he knew. Megatron is just some guy to Orion and he's just learned this now in public. So now Megatron has to feel like an idiot, because he's been vouching for Orion behind the scenes for months if not years or decades, and Orion has just been, what, shrugging everything off, not caring at all about his impact on others.

Now if he ever sticks up for someone everyone's going to question his judgement because of Orion Pax. Even if it blows over he's never living it down.

He's so humiliated he doesn't even think of shooting Orion. He's pissed but he wants to just go and hide more. So he just leaves. That's wild.

He later concocted the idea Orion was intentionally a spy and traitor to soothe his ego, but drops it again once he's had enough time to recover. Oh. And Orion insults the name Decepticon while he's at it.

Poor megs.

I feel like people don’t talk enough about how damaging anxiety can be to your relationships. They talk about depression and bpd and other obvious factors of mental health but anxiety is always left out. The constant fear and overthinking is damaging to your mental health ofc but once you start overthinking about your relationship and those fears are spoken? Your partner can feel invalidated and like they’re not doing enough.

When the reality is…

They are doing more than enough(in my case); helping with anxiety attacks, holding your hand, giving long hugs when you need them, reassuring you, staying even though you have severe relationship anxiety and not to mention being the exact opposite of what you fear.

But even then it doesn’t stop the fear. My partner is amazing and still those anxious thoughts creep in. Like that he doesn’t actually love me or he’s going to leave me and when I say these things too much he becomes frustrated because he’s already told me and shown me in so many different ways that he wants me and loves me. And sometimes if I need specific attention my anxiety makes me too scared to ask and it just gets worse and worse and worse until eventually we have a fight because I couldn’t get those thoughts out of my head and couldn’t ask for what I needed. It’s understandably frustrating on his part bc it seems like he’s not ever “good enough” to make those fears go away. He is.

But my chemicals aren’t chemicaling right. Just staying by my side means so much but still relationship anxiety can be so damaging. People need to talk about this more and honestly, it should be something we learn about in school. That way the people who need to learn coping skills for this type of anxiety can and people who have a partner with this type of anxiety can learn the best ways to help if they don’t already know.
