Teasing of a 'Sister'

It was a normal weekend, a hot sun high in the sky as it casted little rays through Riake's tiny sun catchers. Casting dancing shapes across her apartment walls, all ranging in colours and odd shapes. It was like watching something out of a fairytale, something Riake could sit and watch forever.

But her company was less than pleased to be left without her 'attention' for too long. Speaking of company…

"OOooo! Who's Callahan with a music note and cat emoji?" Bramble cooed teasingly, calling from the living room couch with Riake's phone in her hands. “Gasp! Has my little lady found herself a love interest?”

A loud groan comes from the kitchen, Riake soon coming back out with two plates in her hands. “You know, I don’t really appreciate you snooping through my stuff!”

A mocked gasp came from the taller woman, moving her legs from her sprawled out position to make room for Riake, her hands held high to keep the ‘stuff’ in question out of reach. For a younger sister, she really did act like a bully of an older sister sometimes.

“It’s hardly snooping-” She receives a disapproving hum. “-When the notification pops up and I just HAPPEN to see it!”

“You didn’t answer my question though.” Bramble grins impishly, as if she caught Riake in an unspoken lie. The girl swears she can see her friend’s eyebrows wiggling teasingly.

A scoff comes from the smaller woman as she stares up at her phone for a moment. She knew Bramble would give it to her if Riake really asked her too but where was the fun in that?

“Did you just lick me, you freak?!” Her accusing tone is drowned out by Bramble’s erupting laughter. Riake quickly wiped off her hand along Bramble’s arm, gaining a mix of disgust and laughter.

“Just give me my phone back!”

“Just tell me who he is and I will~” Bramble quickly replied in a sing-songy voice, clutching the phone to her chest.

“He’s…He’s a regular, okay!” The woman pouted, sitting back with a pout as she stared at the unconvinced taller woman. “A regular with…A really cute cat and a really cute…face?”

A long, loving yet teasing sigh escapes Bramble as she makes a show of handing over Riake’s phone. The woman was quick to snatch it back which earned an evil giggle from the other woman. The brunette had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at the red head.

“A cute face huh?” Bramble teased, squinting at Riake with a wicked grin. “Hope his cute face can deal with a few bruises–”

“You’re not beating him up!” A shocked gasp jumped from Riake’s lungs as she spun around to face Bramble, a finger wagging in her face. But all Bramble can do is laugh.

She has never seen Riake so flush, let alone protective over someone she’s just met! Normally whenever Bramble jokingly threatened to rough up anyone who Riake had fancied, it was normally met with a laugh and a shake of her head. But this one she defended? Ooooh, now Bramble was really interested!
