My Dream from Last Night (7/17/2022)

In one part of my dream, I was in some episode from 20th Century Fox/Nickelodeon’s “Alvin and the Chipmunks”. I remember I was with two guys Dave was yelling at, and I was worried about if he also was including me. Then I could see Alvin, Simon, and Theodore by the water with Alvin holding up some rifle trying to shoot a duck from the sky. Dave tried telling Alvin not to pull the trigger, but it was too late. From the distance I could hear Dave yell his signature “ALVIN!” yell, and I rushed over. Then I think this plane fell from the sky, and afterwards, this giant boat pulled up and I climbed aboard as soon as Dave and his adopted sons did. I even asked if Dave could forgive me and rehire me as a means of giving me a second chance. Dave, however, explained to me that he wasn’t even mad at me to begin with, which to me was a relief.

In another part of my dream, I was in Monstropolis from “Monsters Inc.”. I was in Mike and Sulley’s apartment room and I actually was happy to just be with Mike (Truthfully, I like him more than Sulley, just as I prefer Woody over Buzz Lightyear.)

Then, I was in this movie theater where I was watching the teaser trailer for “Storks”. However, once the trailer was over, there were these animated shorts that played. I had this cotton candy which, in my dream, if you put the stick in the liquid substance and mixed the stick hard enough, you’d get instant cotton candy (Kind of like how in “Spider-Man Homecoming”, Peter Parker, while he was in Chemistry Class, was developing his web fluid he had been working on in secret.).

The first theatrical short I saw was a “Tom and Jerry” short (it was in the style of the 1940-1957 shorts), likely to promote that same cotton candy I was trying out. I remember in one scene, Tom had a sheet float down onto his head, making him resemble Jerry. Then there was a short film based on “The Cat in the Hat”, but the artwork and animation was more akin to the 1971 cartoon, albeit produced in widescreen (1:85:1 aspect ratio to be specific), and the art was more digitized than the original.
