MEET YN YLN May 29, 2017

Yn Yln has been making her mark in the industry.

From detailed writing on fashion pieces to analyzing the newest models of F1 cars, Yn Yln is racing through the internet.

Yln told the BBC it was her bursting of emotions that first got her to write.

Her love of fashion was what started her journey. She put up her first blog up in 2010 titled “Layering”. Yln showcased several ways to style for the winter which skyrocketed her blog.

She then wrote about the racing sport. Yln mentioned a friend of hers raced and that is where her writing started to flourish.

“He just got me really interested in the sport that I couldn’t go a week without writing whether Hamilton got a win or modifications had been made to the sport.”

The writer got her first issue in Vogue out this May 11th. The issue was about her sister, Kylie Yln, and her entrepreneurship.

But while she has achieved much beyond her years, Yln has much more ahead of her. She continues to help the writing industry advance and flourish.

charles_leclerc I remember watching Formula 1 being younger and dreaming of one day being part of it. I can't believe this day has arrived and that I will be racing with Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team for the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship. I am hugely thankful to all the people who have been involved in my path to Formula 1.

A special thought to my father that did absolutly everthing for me to get there and to Jules that also helped me massively, I wish you two were here to see that but l'm sure you will follow me from up there.

Since he was young, Leclerc has been dreamt of his future in being an F1 driver, as well as his future number.

The 20 year old driver explains it has always been the number he was going to pick.

“There is too much emotional connection for me to not pick this number. I hold this number deep in my heart and the person who helped me achieve everything, is mainly the reason. I hope to do the number well and give it justice.”

it was nerve shaking for both yn and charles to come into the paddock knowing the other would be there but they both walked in with confidence.

with charles in his rookie season, many interviewers were trying to get his input on it. he searched the faces for that one (y/h/c) but proceeded to answer questions while walking.

as he started to leave the group, he had the urge to turn around. and when he did, he was met with those (y/e/c) and nostalgia.

the interviewers started to disperse, getting in his line of vision for a moment before they were focues on her.

this was his second shot and he was not going to waste it.

Thank you to everyone patiently waiting for my shit to be fully got together (or at least enough so that I’m not constantly coming home at 2am). My truck should be getting fixed Tuesday. Rental car returned Thursday. After that due to the astronomical gas prices and iffy truck function beyond the transmission, not to mention not trying to cover the cost of the rental, I will be working MUCH, much less. Which means back to writing and arting and general creativity. If you have posted any kinds of updates on the dash, I literally haven’t seen them. I haven’t been on tumblr but for all of maybe a half hour total in the last three weeks. Feel free to link me to important shit. I will give this a few rebagels in the next few days.

About the Louis’ Stats I thought I could also add something else: Spotify Monthly Listeners, the number obviously fluctuates a lot but I noticed that his number started dropping 8 days after FITF was released which is incredibly not good, given that it is a full lenght album and that it had two deluxe versions which should have boosted the monthly listeners. So far this week Louis has lost over 160k which for someone his size is an issue, and it only highlists the problem with relying purely on fans and sans GP: It’s not sustainable and the album ends up performing not well without artificial support.

Summary:

I decided to give this a try because I love writing on my diary (I stopped a while ago but maybe I'll start again, tho I'm not going to post it here ofc.) but... I definitely feel too exposed by doing this so it's not going to happen again. I have no filter.

These weeks have been hectic to put it kindly lol

I've been sick. I made a quick recovery. Went to the hospital like, three times. Will be back to the hospital tomorrow. Another check up and study. I'm so glad it's free because otherwise idk how I would be paying for all those things.

Last week - From January 7th to January 14th

I'm so angry... and embarrassed too because I actually bought a $5 bucks green tea but it tasted like cheap boiled water or smth 😭😂

Most expensive crap ever bought. Emphasis on crap. Yeah that's the most relevant thing 🤣 ahh and...

I'm writing.

Highlights: I'm now on Ko-fi! >< so excited!! Plus, I started selling soaps and I'm definitely starting strong this year.

This week - From January 15th to 21

I'm back to my ballet classes though, and I lost some weight~ *happy dance* and I'm selling my soaps ✨😌✨ I feel like I'm achieving some kind of superpower. I'm definitely becoming the person I want to be.

I'm reading the Bible. I swore to never touch that book again once I went out of school (went to catholic schools during a long time) but I'm back and I'm reading it. Literature skills and all that. I was advised several times that I should read it. So I'm back to it. My parents though... 💀 they're looking at me like I grew out two heads or smth... which is funny AF. Understandable though, considering how much I'm against it.

Genesis it's kind of heavy. I have had to put it down several times to not get bored and sleep on it. Probably for the best because I would end up drooling and the Bible is too pretty for that....

I'm not used to take that long reading a book. I went through the Catholic version first because it's the one I have at my disposal but downloaded a couple of apps. One NIV skipped several things through the Genesis. So many things it pissed me off because I thought Genesis was all about people being born and living way too long like if they were vampires or something. Turns out it's because of the version I'm reading. I tried the CBS but it was insufferable. I'm sorry. Finally I went through the KJV and found myself enjoying it so much I could spend the whole day reading it.

That's when I realize I need a physical copy of it. So I'm buying one. Went through Amazon and found a pinkish Bible. I can't wait to receive it and fill it with my studies~ meanwhile I find myself... bewildered because I'm actually enjoying something I thought I would never (?) Watching it as mythological stuff is different. Even my notes are really random and funny. But I don't want to offend anyone beliefs here so I won't be posting them. I am a firm believer in the good messages that the Bible has, just not, into it as religion.

Anyways~ one of my doctors is such a hottie... I feel like I'm in middle of a KDrama around him... even my mom likes him and calls him "handsome" lol

Week from 22 to 28

I'm skipping ballet classes this entire week 😭🥺 I'm back with hospital appointments. I probably won't be here long enough and won't have enough energy to write. These appointments make sure my energy is drained. Like, completely.

I'm also on a sprint to create as much soaps as possible 😉 Valentine Day here we go!!!

Highlights: The transporter for my cats has arrived!

Week from 29 to 4th February

I was going to take bus routes... part of me refuses to feel like it's a downgrade. I'm feeling like taking buses will enhance the feeling of an MC on a kdrama or a Ghibli character (depending on how I'm dressing up) but instead I downloaded Uber lol because I'm spoiled and I would say lazy but nope! I have time to read or study while I'm in the car. That's why I haven't learned how to ride yet.

I finished with the soaps and I'm selling them at my school. I'm already making some money with this but expecting to make some money with my stories too. Which is why I've been working so hard on this. To go back to write again while the soaps are selling themselves. And before you ever think about me making a promo on my stories, mmmm yeah i'm not sure because I'm too busy. But maaaybe?

Anyways one of my teachers stand me up this week without notice. I got really pissed because I lost money and time because of that. I never felt so bothered by something like that but now I understand what my nom was talking about being punctual and responsible. Guess I'm an adult now since I'm the one paying for the uber *sighs* my mom also got stand up by one of my classmates. And it was raining. A lot. I don't hate rain. It made me feel nostalgic, but my annoyance was huge so I didn't get to enjoy.

Highlights: Nothing really. Ohh~ we're finally buying a treadmill.

jen dearest 🤍 i got myself some time during my lunch break to reply to you ; u ; but how exciting that you had a great time back at home and seeing all the people you missed the last little while. i know the feeling you described, almost... a mix of guilt and grief for "visiting" home and not staying home, for "leaving behind" the ones who probably want you by their side the most. i feel that way every time i see my grandparents, and they are only a couple cities over from me... i cannot imagine that sort of strain on your heartstrings after hopping on the plane 🥺 but although that feeling doesn't really get any better, life does get bigger — so in comparison to the last time, hopefully your visits home become easier to carry with experience. (did you try bánh canh like we last discussed 😂?)

those resolutions — or at least, aspirations to set forth this year! — sound perfectly reasonable to me ☺️ i hope you get to achieve them, or even an inkling of all, so you can full power experience them later! as for me — i may tap back into writing, but for original characters of my own; maybe even poetry? how fun would that be hehe i'm also looking to move along with work — things have been going well in my role, and my team definitely trusts me with managing the office — but the company itself and the compensation is next to nothing, sadly. but cheers to see where our professional roads lead ^^~ any new country in particular you're looking to come to?

my love and i are still going strong 🥰 it will be 7 years together in february! things have been sort of picking up a notch — we've discussed engagement/marriage to our families and it makes me feel so funny because!!! i!!! am!!! baby!!! (see: turning 28 later this year, my goodness 😨) who knows what will happen by this year but if things happen... i'll be sure to tell you 🤍

yeah it’s very bittersweet 🫠 i do still get emo sometimes thinking about it. yesterday i just sat down on the couch and stared at nothing for like 15 minutes after i looked at something i brought back from home. but yeah since i’m gonna try to come visit more often, hopefully the withdrawal won’t be as bad as this time 😔

bánh canh completely slipped my mind !! 😭 there’s actually quite a few things that i didn’t get to eat even though i was trying to tick everything off my list lol. from now on i’ll have to try and be more productive whenever i go back 😂

Where I live is always a rainy winter, dark clouds and no sun even when its summer it still rains. Usually for me the sun stops appearing in April bc its when the rain start getting worse and the clouds are heavier, the light of the day fades around 5 pm (I live in rainy island in south of america near the end of the continent so its either long long days or long long nights) and around november I start seing the sun little by little until it stays for about 3 weeks straight in January or February.

So consider yourself lucky babes I have to wear rain boots and coats sometimes and they are definitely not a slay hahahah

Hahahaha🤭 Mostly I have a warm weather (as in 28-32°), it's sometimes that I got a cold weather(22-26°) and I enjoy it fully. It's really strange when the weather goes below 22° and for us it's hella freezing. Today's weather said 32° but it felt like 40° and more.

I do not have winter tho😭 I really wish I had, I can see myself diving into the snow and just laying on the ground rolling and rolling around.

I never wear rain boots or coats, when it rains I don't go out of my house, I enjoy the rain inside (sometimes I just splash myself under the rain)🤣 I have always liked a good winter style... BUT ROCK THEM, BESTIE! Get those pretty rain boots out, your warm coats and all done for the runway!

'I Choose Myself': We Can All Learn From Deepti On Love Is Blind

Warning: this articles contains spoilers for the season 2 finale of Love is Blind.

Love Is Blind may be a social experiment created to entertain the masses, but there are some undeniable lessons on love we can all take away from the show. 

Couples are expected to fall in love “sight unseen”, as the show endlessly reminds us. And for some, that is ostensibly true. But for others, heartbreak lies at the alter as the person they’ve been shacked up with for six weeks decides if they actually want to marry them.

When it came to the wedding of Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee and Deepti Vempati, the bride had an epiphany we’re all glad for. 

The unsure groom, Shake, had shrouded their entire relationship with doubts over his physical connection to Deepti, lamenting that he didn’t find her as attractive as his past encounters. He even told another contestant that Deepti reminded him of his aunt. 

Deepti, who for the most part seemed willing to start a life with her fiancé, delivered a zinger on the big day, after Shake made no efforts to make her feel wanted.

Asked if she would take Shake in holy matrimony, she objected. In front of their family and friends, she told Shake: “I deserve somebody who knows for sure. So, I’m choosing myself and I’m going to say ‘no.’”

Instead of comforting or even questioning his now former fiancée, a seemingly unfazed Shake set about “celebrating” with his loved ones, bragging about his plans to get fitter and dine at Nobu. 

Of course, Deepti’s response to Shake’s lukewarm advances won heaps of praise on social media. 

She’s reminded us of the power of self-worth, and how that worth should never be tied to another person.

Since the show aired, the former couple have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Deepti has now seen the hurtful comments Shake made about her appearance. 

In an interview with Buzzfeed, she said: “I had the epiphany that like, ’Why am I trying to prove to this person to see me? I’m done trying, I’m over this. I just need to move forward and figure out what I want — instead of trying to figure out why he doesn’t want me, do I even want him?”

In choosing herself, Deepti has certainly established that she’s not settling for less.

And neither are we.
