Can we talk about the radicalization of Kino for a moment.

We learn a few things about him through the two episodes he is in.

He runs his room hard, pushes the men hard so that their room is never the last place room. We don't know what happens to the last place room, but considering the last place table gets shocked, we can imagine it would not be good.

He has less then a year left

He believes, when we meet him, that if they keep their heads down and do their work and don't cause trouble then they will be ok and he will get to leave on time

He is responsible for 49 people and every day has to order 7 of them into the box, knowing that they will be hurt and there is nothing that can be done about it.

But if everyone follows the rules, they'll be fine and get out eventually

He believes this, even as the evidence mounts against it until he's told otherwise. He is told that there's no release, only being moved to another level. He watches one of his men die at the hands of the med tech who is given no other options by the circumstances.

And he realizes then, that it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how little trouble they cause, it doesn't matter how productive they are. They are all disposable and he decides that Cassian has been right.

I can't wait to see how they continue to develop this character.
