i honestly found characters like perfuma and mermista a lot more annoying than swiftwind or kyle.

at least swiftwind was actually useful to the plot and was a good friend to adora, and kyle tried to do his part in the horde and even stick up for his bullies friends, despite being mistreated so often.

mermista and perfuma often just complained about having to help the princess alliance or having to be in charge, and contributed absolutely nothing to the plot.
