Katsuki Bakugo

You and Katsuki were going at it when he noticed there was some blood on the bed, his eyes widening. He stops thrusting into you and you look at him with confusion in your eyes. You were breathless from the pleasure. “W-what’s wrong Suki?” You look down towards where he was looking, seeing the blood. “Oh shit! This is so embarrassing! I’m sorry Katsuki.”

His crimson eyes look into yours as he leans forward and kisses your forehead than your lips. “It’s okay baby. It’s a natural thing haha the timing was just wrong.” He pulls out of you your blood pulls out a bit more.

Katsuki would definitely get a towel for you and quickly dress you so you can change and get cleaned up. daichi is the designated driver at parties (after everyone becomes legal, of course. if he catches anyone underage drinking, he purposefully lectures the hell out of them because he knows forcing them to sit through a talk where he is overly serious and overbearing and the like is more likely to work than yelling at them and getting on their case about it). he’s been doing it ever since the third years became of legal age to drink because asahi is a bit of a light weight despite his size, and suga, while not nearly as bad as asahi, tends to get out of hand when he has a few too many drinks. on days when he does feel like drinking, he caps it off at two, regardless of the type of alcohol, and he always makes sure that he (and anyone else drinking) has a ton of water and food in between. he’s not exactly motherly about it because he knows everyone is more than capable of taking care of themselves, but he does sometimes accidentally slip into his signature look/tone combo if someone doesn’t finish the water and/or snacks he gave them in between every two or three drinks.

there’s only been one time that daichi got legitimately wasted, and he vows to never do it again. if anyone asks, it’s because he didn’t like the feeling of waking up hungover the next morning, but suga accidentally lets it slip one night after he was a few drinks in that it’s really because daichi becomes a super emotional drunk. he cries at even the slightest inconvenience, he opens up about his feelings an embarrassing amount, and he becomes super affectionate. asahi even has footage of daichi crying all over suga about how much he loved the first years after going to the last game of their third year to cheer them on. (asahi doesn’t address the fact that his loud sniffling is also heard from behind the camera or that suga is literally cooing at daichi as he pets his messy hair down.)

daichi gives everyone the deadliest glare of his life when he walks in on the team watching the video play for the fourth time and laughing their asses off, and suddenly, it’s as if the video never existed in the first place. though asahi never deletes the video, everyone silently agrees that it will never be talked about again. though, the team does try to secretly get daichi drunk a few times afterwards. it doesn’t work. unfortunately.

asahi was the lookout, surely with all that height, he’d be able to see daichi coming from a mile away. he didn’t need to see the video again, having lived through the actual experience himself. besides, that video lived on his phone anyways. he could just watch it whenever he wanted to.

but suga didn’t have that kind of an advantage, phone in his hands as all the other members crowded around him, trying their hardest to keep their mouths shut. even kiyoko was trying to hide her snickers with the back of her hand.

everyone knew that they were already on pretty thin ice with daichi, him having caught them three times just in the past week. but they just couldn’t resist, even as daichi shook his head and made them do extra drills as a response.

“and the first years,” daichi bawled, words barely understandable through all the tears that came from his eyes, “they have so much potential, so much ahead of them...it just makes me so proud, you know?”

daichi gently hits the area over his heart to emphasise his point, leaning his head on suga’s shoulder. his face was flushed red, a thin layer of cold sweat on his forehead. eyes puffy and nose very clearly runny, asahi hands him a tissue from behind the camera.

“awe,” suga cooed, brushing daichi’s hair back. it’s clear that he’s holding in his laughter, given that he was biting his lip each time daichi sniffled, “you gonna miss them?”

daichi nodded, using the tissue asahi had given him a few moments ago. “i just love them so much, i hope that we were at least good mentors to them. that they remember us when we go.”

the camera shakes ever so slightly as asahi could no longer hold back his own tears. if they listened close enough, they could hear a quiet, “yeah.”

“...and the second years,” daichi continued, unable to stop himself, “i just hope they know that they could still reach out to us...if they ever need anything. i know that they’ll do a good job but it would be nice if they updated us every now and—”

“and just what exactly are you watching?”

they hear a voice in front of them, chills creeping up their spines, blood running cold. everyone’s faces paled as daichi stood, hands crossed in front of his chest, gazing in front of them with the deathliest glare they had ever seen from him.

no other words needed to be spoken. asahi had his head hung low, already deleting the video as soon as suga tossed the phone to him. just like that an agreement was made, no one speaks of the video ever again.

the only time it was ever brought up was the little party they had in honor of the third years graduating. it was held at the gym, decorations kept simple — just a banner that yachi had made and a couple of balloons floating about.

the night was already winding down, everybody had eaten, music was kept at a low volume for ease of conversation. soon enough, it would be time for everyone to say goodbye.

“everyone!” nishinoya called out, loud as ever as he gestured towards ennoshita who made his way to the center of the room, “i believe our new captain wants to say something.”

everyone gathered around him, cups of soda in hand as they anticipated his words. daichi had passed the baton onto him, the role of leader, captain. he wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t regret it.

“tonight we say goodbye to our third years...” ennoshita started, a sad smile making its way to his face.

“hey!” suga called out, a laugh threatening to break away from his lips, “don’t make us sound like we’re dying! we’re only graduating.”

“right, sorry.” a flustered flush colored his face. still, he continued his little speech, “you four mean a lot to us. taught us many things in and out of the court.”

the team nodded along, agreeing with his words.

“ i know that you think we’ll do a good job, but i just want you to know that we will definitely be reaching out to you whenever we need anything. we’ll definitely be updating you every now and then too.”

asahi’s eyes narrowed, why were these words just a little too familiar? oh no, these were daichi’s words from that video...

everyone else had caught on pretty quickly, smiles threatening to form on their lips as the video was still unable to leave their heads for the past few weeks. tsukishima was the first to add on to ennoshita’s speech, “yeah, and don’t worry, we know how much potential you think we have.”

tanaka smirked, a certain amount of pride lacing his voice, “i'm sure these first years definitely know how much they have ahead of them. but we’ll be good mentors like you were.”

“we’ll miss you too!”

“we definitely won’t forget you!”

suga and asahi looked towards daichi, just a little bit nervous. by that point, they had assumed that everyone had forgotten about it and moved on. obviously that was not the case, since the entire team had the biggest grins on their faces. suga and asahi expected a glare, or at least an uncomfortable look.

but he’s smiling, fondly, gaze warm and soft. daichi could tell they were being sincere, despite the teasing tone in their voices.

so he lets it slide this time.

and also because daichi just knew : he was definitely going to miss this.

Anoncito, you seem to like my long stories hahaha.

First time we had internet in my house was 14. Before that, all my source for info came from summers with a cloce blood relative who had a dslr connection, enciclopedias and Encarta lol. The later provided me top tier information, and gave me time to get obsessed with Atlantis (not the disney movie, haven't even seen it) and the Bermuda Triangle over and over and over again. I've always wondered what kind of things existed around them if they were real lol and why anyone was searching for a proof that an atlantis mermaid existed.

I love mermaids (and their male counterparts) and I wish they were real. I loved them in The Odissey. I love The Little Mermaid. I think there are amazing artistic examples of why they're great, malicious or not. There's an amazing short story by Samantha Schweblin called "The Merman" that basically resume why I find them fascinatings as story devices, and she used it in a modern setting which makes it even more impressive.

Also, in mapuche culture (natives from Chile and southern Argentina) there's a myth about two giant serpents, one lived on earth and the other underwater, who were always fighting. Earth one won, but the other is supposed to live under a giant ass lake in the south of Chile that's fucking terrifying to look at (it's beautiful but I got the chills when I went there).

So yeah, I have a fascination with the sea. I'd love to meet Ponyo's mom one day lol.

hmm i think by the time of their guesting, the public already knew of their relationship

the announcement was made about two and a half years into their relationship,,,a staff member ratted them out ://

most of them were supportive ofc!!!

“we did it bc the fans seemed to like it,,,mark just ended up liking it more than he should,” she said it like she was bragging about it which made the people in the studio laugh and mark collapsing to the floor out of embarrassment

mark’s still laughing, “maybe it’s one of the reasons-“

“but we spent a lot of time together when we were in the states so i think that’s the reason too”

this time taehee was the flustered one,,,up to the point her face was getting hot and that she had to take a sip from her bottle

mhm im thinking, what would it take for reader to ever yell back at touya? she gave him attitude during the house party he threw and i wish i got to see more of how he would react if she pushed him further

oooooh anon this is a really good question!!!

tw: drug use, toxic relationships, physical abuse, mention of caning/whipping

it would have to be something really severe, either extreme jealousy again or something critically impacting his health, like his drug abuse getting increasingly worse and extremely dangerous. touya has seriously manipulated her into thinking that he knows what’s better for her more than anything or anyone else, and that he’s the only one who can take care of her properly (which is why so many times throughout the series itself she thinks to herself yes niichan, of course niichan etc) and in doing this has also convinced her that he knows better than her what’s best for HIM as well. it’s implied in the series itself that she’s expressed her concern over his drug addiction and that he has gotten VERY angry at her for it (literally don’t pray for me vibes hahaha. he hates her pity, it makes him feel pathetic and weak and VULNERABLE and he can’t fucking stand it. touya copes with negative and unpleasant emotions through drugs + completely and entirely ignoring them, and he doesn’t like to ask for help. no, he doesn’t want to talk about it, he’s fine goddamn it).

tw: physical abuse, manipulation

but let’s say, since you’re curious to know how he’d react, that she DOES really push him, that she does seriously LOSE IT on him and starts yelling and screaming and crying about either his drug use or his job—anon, it wouldn’t be pretty. he’d lose his fucking mind. he would fucking ROAR at her; how dare she speak to him that way, how dare she think she knows better than him!? how fucking disrespectful, especially after all he’s done for her—after all he does for her! he’d yank her by her hair and drag her towards their bedroom while spitting seething insults, words dripping with venom and eroded with acid that slice through the air like razors the moment they fall from his lips, going on about how goddamn stupid she is and how she should just keep her mouth shut on shit she doesn’t know anything about. he definitely wouldn’t be beyond backhanding her, if she’s STILL going, then he’d vow in a chilling voice void of any emotion to teach her a fucking lesson, that involves a night of extreme punishment; most likely caning or whipping and then rough sex, if he’s still feeling furious and pent up after all of that.

that isn’t even all, though. because touya is so emotionally immature, he wouldn’t talk to her for days after. he’d give her the cold shoulder—it’s what she deserves, after all—emotionally and mentally manipulating her into feeling AWFUL, into feeling like she’s entirely in the wrong and that she brought all of that pain onto herself, into believing that she really DID deserve it, until she comes crawling to him with tears in her eyes and sobs caught in her chest, begging him for forgiveness, promising him that she’ll never misbehave like that again.

now, with that being said, reader isn’t an idiot. she knows this is exactly what would happen, has had a taste of this outcome by merely expressing her worries in a soft and concerned voice, so to be honest with you, she wouldn’t dare attempt to speak to him that way unless it was really, really, REALLY bad and she was extremely upset. in other words, this would be a very, very rare situation and most likely would never happen in my lil AU ehehe BUT if it DID, this is how it would play out!!

Thanks for making it to the end of the chapter with me! That was a rollercoaster, not to mention - I believe - our longest chapter yet. I think that was because the boys were all in different places so there was a lot of setting-up and getting back together too, but I hope you still enjoyed it :)

Reina had the good idea last chapter that I could list some of the ways the chapter could have gone differently so I’ll try to remember the whole chapter cause I want to do that again hahaha

My original “Henrik tries to escape the magicians” scene was going to be a much bigger deal, with him potentially attacking someone and most likely getting in a fight with the Old Man, Emmanuela, or Hermann and Genesis. (also i’d like to clarify it’s pronounced Air-mahn) But you guys were very trusting of the magicians, informed them when he tried to run away, and helped him to have a much easier time than he might have otherwise

He was also going to meet the Old Man much earlier on, but you guys chose not to interact with him at the library, which was probably wise. However, the Old Man would have been able to answer just about any questions you had about magic, Blue, and Anti, so there was definitely an upside and a downside to him.

I thought about having Christofer still be in the hospital when Henrik came to, but he would have eventually died because of the wounds Anti gave him either way.

I thought Nina and Henrik were going to fight a lot more than they ended up doing lol. She doesn’t hAVE A PHD - likewise, Henrik’s health could have been a bigger issue and I thought about giving him a bad fever or something, but I didn’t feel like it was the right time to deal with that.

Henrik’s story was probably the most customizable. You were free to explore whoever and whatever you wanted to explore and you came up with some really cool stuff! I think the story about the man who cuts off his enemy’s head to get his sister’s magic back was probably the most important.

It was possible to talk to Dr. Siong more but I don’t think she would have been able to help much and Anti might have even killed her.

The plan was always for Caleb or Xin Yi to die. I don’t know how I let you guys get away with saving both of them hahaha but it turned out to be more important to Dapper that they survived than to Trick. Trick would have been forced to shoot one of them and he would have been completely horrified, which would have worsened his breakdown and actually made him more violent because of the need to prove to himself that what he was doing was necessary - there were several endgame scenarios in which either Red or Dok was shot by Trick

Trick would have absolutely shot Dok in the leg to force him to come back to Anti if that had ended up being his job. Their reunion could have been a lot more painful but the focus stayed with Max and Dapper for most of the final section and you were able to find a way for Trick not to have to be the bad guy much. He could have easily shot Max - if Anti was with him, he would have followed just about any order. There was no chance of Trick fulling rebelling throughout this chapter.

Poor Blue was pretty stuck this chapter. There wasn’t much else he could have done except that he could have come home the first time Trick asked. I think the extra time in the hospital ended up being good for him, but he did get beat in by Anti a little and the trust between them fully evaporated

Yes, Anti could have found a way to break Blue back into place or hypnotize him if you made fun of him for not having control over him or something lol. Honestly he just found it more enjoyable to rub the stolen magic and hypnotized Trick in his face instead. Anti does not feel resentful towards all of the egos for what they did before he caught them, but Blue evaded him for so long and did enough to defeat him in the past that he still doesn’t like him very much.

If anyone had asked, I would have made space in the narrative for Dok to buy Trick a new music box or other new things at the market. Just wondering if anyone would make the connection :)

Dapper and Red did not get along very well at the beginning of the chapter and I gotta say I was DEFINITELY planning on having Dap run away from him at some point. I don’t really know how it didn’t happen lol? I think it just never seemed to fit. But Dapper was going to get a little confused about what you wanted him to do and run away either to try and get back to Anti or to get to Peru with Dok. Red and Max would have had to go searching for him and most likely find him at the bus station with his bear

If Max ever touched Dapper, Dapper would have attacked him again and probably had another “snap”

Dapper could have taken Red to one or two other memories in their past, but you calmed him down when he was flipping out a little and asked him not to because it might not be safe.

Dapper and Red could have stolen, like, a lot of shit. If Red had been arrested, you would have had to help Dapper get him away from the police

You did not have to trust Max but honestly I thought it was hilarious that he’s like the one character who immediately believed you when he said you weren’t Anti. He was like “oh yeah this isn’t that bastard’s style, what’s up” so he was pretty chill from the get-go. He could have found Red that first night Red beat him up and ran away from him but after Red got overwhelmed by messages about Anti, I figured he just needed to get home to Dapper and be looked after

Yes, Jackie and Max were fiances. If you had pressed Max about their relationship, he wouldn’t have told you that, but he might have admitted to being in love with him and begged you not to tell Red yet. Dapper also thought about telling Red once he remembered but ultimately respected Max’s decision to give him space

I would not have let Dapper jump but if no one had been able to talk him down he would have had to be grabbed either by Red coming down to get him or by Anti using the nearby tree to snatch him up and he would have really freaked out then. It was possible for him to have a snap in the last section and send himself, someone else, or several people to different memories

Okay the most important thing I think that happened that almost changed everything was that we literally came SO close to having Dok use JP’s shape-shifting talisman on Blue. I was legit writing up that scene when I got the other ask that was like “Dok you should save it!!” so to clarify why I did that I hope you know I would have let Dok use it if I didn’t have any other plan for the scene or if I thought it would help the scene. If you guys come up with something that will help the characters be okay, I always want to use it, but in this case I felt like I had kind of found a way to make things okay without the necklace, so me choosing to have Dok say “okay, we’ll save it” was me trying to help, not to make it really hard to use the necklace. I would have used it if that anon hadn’t suggested we wait, though, in which case - yes, Blue would have been turned into an animal, Anti would have probably collapsed in the street, Trick would have flipped the hell out, and Red and Max would have had more time to figure things out. It might have helped Red and Max a little, but Dapper would not have had Blue, Anti, or Trick nearby for when he was on the cliff

I’m like they say exactly 7 minutes so I’ll set a timer for 7 minutes and start a stopwatch so if it does seem to need more than 7 I can keep an eye on the extra time and be aware of exactly how long it takes me for next time. Other people are like oh let's see I have [lists 5-10 things in their fridge], hmm...oh I know what I could make with that! I’m like I have beans in my freezer because one recipe required them and no other recipes I know how to make do so what am I supposed to do with these now,,, this is stressful,,, basically I barely know how to cook and recipes are the only things saving me in that area. That is entirely fair. Except for the fuck duck, and murder is not the word you want surely, situations, it’s pretty helpful.

Ohhh I see. At least the start is chill! For a little! Before your entire situation spirals out of hand and you’re behind in every class and it’s taken you a whole day to read 10 pages and you’re exhausted and it’s only week 2. Just me? ok. fair. anyway. I want a cloak so bad. One of my uni friends tempted me to class because she said she was wearing a cloak so my depressed ass honest to god dragged myself out of bed and to said class just to see it. It was worth it. They’re incredible. Everyone should own a big cloak for the aesthetic.

I’m glad it isn’t just me hahaha. I can visualise my own height in feet but everything else is just the same size that is a vague amount taller than me, mentally.

The mermaids would just look like there are hundreds of bugs crawling around in their boobs, flesh shifting as they float around. Which is a vibe. If you’re into that. Jellyfish WOULD make a more solid, single, implant, some of them are definitely boob shaped. But that’s kinda boring no one’s gonna be traumatised by that. Salps on the other hand...yeah, that sight will DEFINITELY traumatise someone.

To be PERFECTLY honest I haven’t done a backflip in years but for lactose-free cheese? Dude. I’ll be going back to training. Gonna be the best backflip you’ve ever seen. As long as it’s not Tasty cheese I am content, but lactose free IS better. The biting of ankles will not cost extra, it is a pleasure to be allowed to do that.

Oh it absolutely would be. It’d be very funny if it reached the wider world bc people would probably be like ok but who would send kids into the bush like that,, it’s an odd concept. meanwhile everyone who grew up in nz is gonna be like y’all, you’re not gonna fuckin BELIEVE what i experienced growing up, it’s real dude. On one hand, I feel like murdering kids in a movie is questionable, on the other hand, It exists, so maybe people would be down for it. I feel like it’d be a good concept even if it wasn’t murdery tho. Like psychological horror? I’m not sure if I’m using that category correctly I don’t watch much horror. A kid following the rope but then being shifted into a different horror dimension but they never take the blindfold off because their teachers said not to and they’d probably have to let go of the rope to do it...I feel like this could work super well as a short film. The viewers see everything. The child just knows something is off and no one is coming when they call for help. I am so down for this. I also do not want to know what my leg was caught on. Some things I am better off not knowing.

yes! I am a fellow dirt eater! We had a sandpit at home (that’s a little bold. It was a large plastic shell that my parents filled with sand. technically a sandpit. but not fancy sdflsdkfsdf) but I don’t think I ever tried to eat it. Then again, I possibly did and just don’t remember because there’s no photo evidence of that one. I’d have to ask my parents sdfhsjdfs, I would however fully believe them if they said yes. it’s very characteristic of me. I don’t doubt it for a second. muuuum that’s my emotional support sand don’t make me spit it out smh the disrespect these days.

Oh I’m absolutely terrible even by most people’s standards around here when it comes to cold and hot temperatures. I remember sitting in the sun in my school shirt and school jersey in summer on a blazing day like it’s a bit chilly, isn’t it? Meanwhile my friends were in the shade absolutely dying from the heat. Likewise in winter I’d be shivering, teeth chattering, dying with my long sleeve thermal, my school shirt, my school jersey, my school jacket, my longs, warm socks and sneakers and gloves and school scarf while ppl would be walking around in a shirt and shorts like it’s a bit warm this winter huh? my body didn’t learn how to thermoregulate and it shows. But yeah NZ does also have a reputation for shittily insulated buildings and such. It shows. skhdfsfs if it’s not common use maybe don’t say can i have a hotty to someone without context but otherwise go ahead lmao. it’s a fun shortened version.

I was typically a very good saver, to the point where my extended family started gifting me gift cards and vouchers for Christmas and my birthday because if they just gave me money I’d put it in my bank account to save towards uni once I hit like, 12 years old. Which I think was a smart move. But apparently, I’m supposed to buy myself ‘something nice’ with it. I think I’m still an okay saver but I’m not as strict anymore. I’m aware of how much I can spare and I’m not just like you can never get anything for yourself ever, so I do get lil things for myself sometimes. oooo yay! At least you know what I mean. But yes. They were the gold mine for lollies. Absolutely terrific stores. My mum would be like hey lindsey how about you order? And I’d be like mother, I am 7 years old and I have an undiagnosed anxiety disorder everyone assumes is child shyness why would you think I would want to do that. Instead I will whisper my choices to you. After therapy tho I felt pretty rad for picking my own lollies by myself. I was like 13 at that point but sdfkjhsdf listen I got there in the end.

sdfkjsdfkjhsdf I like that a cursed photo reminded you of me. That’s all I need to hear. Tumblr said no anon dick pics but they also said no anon cursed photos either,,, very sad. for the latter part. the first part thank god. If I could turn on photos on anon I absolutely would just to see this but I don’t think I can :(

You fell to the ground with a loud thump as you groaned in pain, glaring at the man standing over you. “That hurts.”

“Maybe if you stop whining and start fighting, you may be able to pin me down,” Steve replied simply, crossing his arms over his chest.

You growled before striking your hand out and grabbing onto his ankle, pulling it towards you with full force as you caught him off-guard. He fell onto his back and you immediately straddled him and held his shoulders down. “Maybe if you stop talking you’d have been able to see me strike.”

He clenched his jaw as you stood up and moved back, not breaking eye contact with him as he sat up. You had never really liked the Captain, he was too rigid and always played by the rules which you can’t really stand. However, the feeling was mutual so no one gets hurt.

“You’re getting slow, old man, maybe you should take those classes Stark mentioned for people your age,” you said as Steve stood and walked to the bench with his things, ignoring you. You made a face behind his back and turned around. “Whatever, good training, if that’s what you called training.”

Steve watched as you left, glaring at you before shaking his head. Taking out his phone he saw that he had an email, smiling, he took a seat on the bench as he read it.

Ever since Tony taught him about the internet, he discovered a lot of things and he even met someone through this forum. He started talking to that person and realized that they had a lot in common and decided to exchange emails. It was like having a pen pal but without the letters and pens, or as Tony likes to call e-pen pals.

‘Sorry for the late reply, I just ended my workout. It was pretty fun, how’s your day so far?’ Steve typed as he stood up, hoping she’ll reply soon. This was one of the only things that he really enjoyed doing besides drawing, it felt like he finally found someone who understood him.

Feeling your phone vibrate, you took it out as you reached your room, grinning as you saw the notification. You threw your sweaty towel into the dirty laundry basket as you leaned against the doorframe of your toilet, thinking about what to reply.

You had just met this guy from a forum and he seemed really interesting and the both of you have been talking ever since. You were scared that you were actually developing a crush on someone you have never even met before.

‘It was pretty chill, but I’m starving. I could really go for a burger and of course some pie now :P’ You smiled as you sent it before putting your phone aside and grabbing some clean clothes before stepping into the bathroom.

“Hey, Cap,” you called out. “6”

Moving away slightly, you used your thumb to point at the group of knock out HYDRA soldiers that you tied up sitting on the ground behind you.

Steve gave you a look and an exasperated sigh. “It’s not a competition, Y/N.”

“I know it’s not but I’m just saying.” You shrugged, a small smile still tugging on your lips.

“10,” Steve said, and your smile dropped as stepped away, your eyes drifting to the sprawled out soldiers on the ground. “Duck.”

You looked at him. “Wha-”

You immediately ducked as he threw his shield towards you, the sound of it hitting something before it returned to Steve’s arm. Turning back, you saw a soldier on the ground, out cold. You whipped back to glare at him, who shrugged. “11.”

“Are you crazy? You could’ve killed me!” You exclaimed as you threw your hand up in the air.

“I thought you always said you had fast reflexes,” Steve said nonchalantly.

You started trudging forward. “Why you li-”

Tony held you back. “Now, now, let’s not get into any fights.”

You grinded your teeth before shaking Tony off and walking away. “Hmph!”

Steve raised a brow as he saw you stomp off, Tony sighing and gave him a look. “Really, Capsicle?”

He shrugged. “Simple teasing.”

After washing up, you flopped onto bed face down and let out a heavy sigh. Sticking your hand out, you reached for your phone on your nightstand. You unlocked your phone and went to email your dear friend.

‘Ugh, I had enough of this coworker of mine, he’s just so annoying,’ you typed and thought about it for a while before adding. ‘I wish I could meet someone like you.’

You put the phone on your stomach as you closed your eyes, waiting for his reply. Within 5 minutes, you felt your phone vibrate.

‘He’s annoying but do you hate him? Because you can’t really be coworkers with someone you hate right?’ He asked, you thought about it and what he said was pretty true.

‘I guess you’re right, I don’t hate him but it doesn’t mean I like him,’ you replied as you turned to lie on your belly, kicking your legs.

‘Haha I wouldn’t say it’s a requirement to like your coworker, I mean I have a coworker I don’t particularly like as well but I have to admit that she is good at what she does.’ You read that message and put your phone down for a while. Well, you guess Steve is good at what he does too. You looked at your phone again as you felt another vibration, feeling your heart skip a beat as you read it.

‘I wish I could meet someone like you too.’

You grabbed your pillow as you hugged it tight, rolling around your bed. God, you felt like you were a teenage girl again. Grinning like a mad woman, you replied. ‘Maybe we should meet up, that way we don’t need to meet someone like each other when we can actually meet each other..’

‘Sounds like a plan,,’ He replied. You couldn’t stop smiling as you stared at that message.

‘Shall we meet tomorrow at 7 at the new Italian restaurant downtown?’ You asked, knowing that he likes the simple spaghetti and meatballs.

Steve smiled as he walked down the hallway. ‘Sounds great! I’ll see you then.’

He paused as he heard some weird giggling coming from your room, he made a weirded out face as he shook his head and continued to his room. Good luck to whoever you end up with in the future.

You walked towards the restaurant, so much excitement bubbling inside that you felt like you could combust. You wondered how he looked like, because from just the emails, he seemed like the perfect guy.

As you neared the restaurant, you realized a familiar figure standing by the entrance. Steve stood there with fitted black slacks and a snug navy button up with the sleeves rolled up to his elbow.

You frowned and was about to shout at him for being there to ruin your date, when you realized a bouquet of flower in his hand. You froze as you realized that they were your favorite flowers. No. Way.

Steve took his phone out of his pocket and you watched him typed something before your phone vibrated. You continued staring at him as you took your phone out from your clutch, looking down at it.

‘Hey, I’m here already, are you reaching?’

You typed back. ‘I’m here.’

Steve smiled and looked around as he kept his phone, his eyes landing on you. His smile slowly dropped as he looked confused. “Y/N?”

You walked towards him. “Steve.”

“What are you doing here?” Steve asked, still confused.

You sighed as you showed him the emails. “Is this you?”

Steve’s eyes widened as he took your phone. “How did you get this?”

“I didn’t get this, I’m the recipient of your emails,” you explained.

Steve frowned. “You?”

You rolled your eyes and nodded before casting your eyes to the ground. “Well, this wasn’t what I expected.”

“Wasn’t what I expected too,” Steve said as he looked at the bouquet in his hand, scratching his head. He handed the bouquet to you. “I guess this is for you then.”

You looked at him surprised. He shrugged, “well, we did wanted to meet each other so let’s just get to know each other face to face, no more competition, no more fights. If it really doesn’t go back, we’ll go back to normal.”

Thinking about it for a while, you nodded with a small smile. “Seems perfect.”

“I can’t believe I ranted to you about, you,” you laughed as both of you walked down the street. Dinner went really well and you were actually having fun.

“At least I’m glad to know you don’t hate me,” Steve chuckled and you grinned at him.

You let out a breath and looked up at the night sky before stopping in your steps, Steve stopping as well to look at you questioningly. You gave him a crooked smile. “I’m sorry.”

Steve turned to face you properly as he walked closer to you. “For?”

You ran your fingers through your hair, looking away. “For everything I guess, you’re a pretty decent guy and I don’t think you deserve some of the things I say about you. I think you do your job really well and you’re really skilled too.”

You stood there awkwardly as you shuffled your feet, Steve still not saying anything. Sneaking a glance at him, you saw him smiling affectionately at you and you felt your face turning warm.

“Thank you, Y/N. I’m sorry too, for everything as well,” Steve said sheepishly. “Especially the time when I almost hit you with my shield.”

Chuckling, you punched him in the arm lightly. “Nah, don’t worry about. But can I tell you one more thing?”

“What is it?” Steve asked as he cocked his head.

You looked away nervously again as you ran you hand through your hair. “I want to be honest, so here goes, I actually kinda developed a little crush on you when we started emailing.”

Steve looked surprised before he laughed lightly as he pulled you into a hug. You stiffened before you slowly wrapped your arms around his waist as he rested his chin on your head.

“You have no idea how bad I wanted to do this when you asked to meet,” Steve said, making you blush as you tightened your hold around him and buried your face in his chest.

You both pulled apart after a while, Steve stepping back. He put his hand out as he smiled at you. “Come on, I know this amazing pie place that’ll just make you drool.”

Looking at his hand, you reached out for it before smiling back at him. “Sounds like a plan, Cap.”
