Information Is Power
by PurpleKing

No one was created equal.
Midoriya Izuku learned that harsh reality at the age of 4, the same day that all his dreams were swept away by just one simple word.
A synonym of weak, of useless, of not being able to reach ever the stars. Of being a Deku. That was his name for years. His life.
And yet, for all that time, he just wanted something, he waited for someone to tell him that he could be a hero, that there was a chance. He would take anything, really, anything!
And, at the age of 12, his cries were finally answered. A new strength, a new hope.
All it took, was the words of a hobo that seemed that they hadn’t slept on days.
Now, armed with the power of his smarts and friendship, he is ready to take the world by storm!
If he doesn’t die before graduation.
(Im not good at descriptions)

Not so Angelic, Not so Daemonic
by CaitiCat14

Izuku Midoriya was just a normal kid. Until his fourth birthday when he received his mark. The same day he got his quirk. His life changed forever.

There are five tiers of people in this world. Each person has a mark. Their mark decides what tier they are.

First: The Archangels. They have high-level quirks and are the highest tier. Their mark is a diamond shape in the center of their forehead.

Second: The Angels. They have Mid-Slightly High level quirks and are the second highest tier. Their mark is a feather hanging from one of their ears.

Third: The Humans. They have no mark and they’re the middle tier. They have low-range quirks or no quirk at all. They mostly blend into the background.

Fourth: The Daemons. They have Mid-range to slightly high quirks, like the Angels. The only difference is their mark. Daemons have a small black x underneath one eye or on their wrist.

Fifth: The Reaper. They have High to Very High-level quirks and are very rare, most people go their whole lifetime without ever seeing one. A Reaper’s mark is their cat-like eyes that glow softly. They also sometimes have small fangs.

his silent cries
by Face planted

Izuku didn’t want her to worry anymore. She had done enough worrying for him. He didn’t deserve her concern. He was just a useless Deku. He didn’t have a quirk like everybody else, so why? Why did she do it? Why did she give her own life for him? He should have gone instead. Maybe then, if he was gone, she could be happy. But she was gone now. So it was impossible.

He still remembers what she had said to him. When he ran to her side when she was taking her last breaths. “Don’t cry baby…. Mama loves you… b-be a g..great… hero… s-someday….”

He remembers the lifeless look in her eyes. He tried so hard to wake her up. He remembers his father’s maniacal laughter. His body shaking from his sobs. From the fear. He didn’t want her to leave him behind, not yet. He still needed her. But it was too late.

She was dead.

by A Bloody Nonbinary in the Woods

Eleven year old Izuku stood as still as he could as the man in front of him rambled. He could barely hear the garbage he was spouting about ‘no heroes coming to save him’ over the pounding in his chest. However, even that man didn’t know how right he would be.

“We should talk about Bakugou,“ Hound Dog says plainly. "I’ve gone over all of your observations and done some testing during my sessions with him, and I think I’ve got a diagnosis, but I’d like to go over everything with you again.”

Shouta figured this would be coming up. It’s been a couple weeks since Bakugou began having regular sessions with Hound Dog. Bakugou’s behavior has been slightly better, but ultimately, the kid still has a long way to go.

by Totally Not A Nerd

This is a superhuman society, with about 80% of the population possessing some uncanny ability. Cities swarmed with chaos and confusing following the appearance of these powers, and honestly, things haven’t changed much.

This is the story of a young girl, a girl who suffered from the villains who the heroes couldn’t beat. A girl who was determined to rise above the faults of society and the horrors of her life to be the hero who the world needed.

This is the story of Mai Riemisho.

(Story is centered around my OC, if you don’t like that, then don’t read, I don’t mind.)
