Aastha was definitely worthy of her place in the top 5 and I think she had the ability to be a true contender for the win. Unfortunately, she was defeated pretty early on by her makeover. She had one of the most striking looks in the cast so I can’t blame her for losing confidence when she received a pixie cut that did her no favors. However, she never seemed to recover and just had a dejected demeanor for most of the cycle which got old quickly. Despite her hair troubles Aastha proved to be a strong, though inconsistent, model in photos. Her portfolio was sort of all over the place, showing the greatest disparity in the first four shoots where she alternated between amazing Prada and Boxing shots and horrendous Quirky and Zodiac shots. The inconsistency remained after that, but thankfully with less variability and she had more good shots than bad. I just think she had trouble with working her face and her body at the same time, but when she married the two together the results were perfection. Aastha managed to be a formidable competitor even with an up-and-down trajectory, but who knows how much better she could’ve been if she got her groove back and maintained her confidence throughout the cycle.

BEAUTIFUL. Tell me that she isn’t the best looking model along with Marie in the next cycle. Her Nepal origin also adds to the fucking beauty in this pot. In a cycle of rollercoasters and flops, Aastha seemed to have some things under control. Besides 2 or 3 bad shots, I liked a lot of her shoots. Problem was that she was always a rollercoaster to deal with. Sure, her boxing is stellar and her red dress/underwater is really underrated in my eyes, but for most of her weeks, besides emotions/zodiac/beauty, she always produced decent enough shots to go through the week. That all said though, she knew how to model that face of her (beauty shot aside) and she was improving a lot on her posing (plus Steph was still in the competition) so I would like to bring her to my final 3 along with Sofia and Jessica, as I would to see her succeed in the Siren shoot and she was showing a lot of improvement alongside Sofia.

Aastha’s striking face really carries this picture. She looks gorgeous and it’s awesome how her seductive stare is vaguely sinister as well. However, her pose is a mixed bag. I love how she positioned her legs in a mermaid-like way, but the visible arm seems out of proportion, and the other has gone missing in a really bizarre way. It’s like her booty turned into a vacuum and is sucking her arm right up in those cheeks like a limp noodle. Aastha certainly delivered an interesting shot, but there are too many issues to rank it any higher.

I used to hate this shot but now I've grown to love it a lot, probably my personal favorite from Aastha. This packs so much drama in its movement and the movement of the dress may be a bit cliché but it works really well for me! It looks so damn beautiful like Aastha herself! Her face is amazing as well! She put a lot of emotion into her eyes, a sadness in it yet a calmness as well. It's a new emotion from her that I can see! Happy to see Aastha rebound a bit!

I’m basically splitting hairs on the rest of the photos, they’re all great and I had such a hard time coming up with a call-out order. Aastha has one of the most memorable pictures of the week for me! Her pose reminds me of a matador, I adore her backwards lean and the way she’s dramatically sweeping the train of the dress forward with her arm She should’ve relaxed her mouth more, but otherwise her face is fantastic! I love her ethereal/wistful yet haughty expression, and her bone structure caught the light perfectly. Aastha really stepped up her game in this photoshoot!

8. Aastha

I flipflop constantly between somewhat liking and fully despising Aastha’s shot and today I fall into the latter category. She reminds of some Disney Channel Original Movie villain, the smirk and cocked eyebrow come across rather over-baked and cheesy and they’re slightly throwing off her features. I might have bought it if she sold it with her eyes more, but she didn’t push enough. This was a step in the wrong direction for Aastha, I don’t see a model in this photo at all.

2. Aastha

Aastha bounced back with a vengeance! Her pose is flawless, her body is incredible and she modeled the leotard and gloves like a pro. I’m so impressed by how she was able to appear punch-drunk and exhausted but still connect very strongly with the camera, and she’s just absurdly beautiful. I’m getting whiplash from Aastha’s drastic ups and downs, but at least she’s back near the top of the heap with an excellent photo!

Aastha gets the most improved award of the week for sure! I love the sassiness of her pose and she brought a bit of cool masculinity to it as well. She looks so tall, and the slanted shoulders and the lazily draped arm across her leg are nice touches too. Her face is drop dead gorgeous, the angle is perfect for her bone structure and the snobby expression is very fitting for this photoshoot. This was the strongest overall group and Aastha is the star of the shot. I completely agreed with her receiving the FCO at panel!

(This photoshoot sucked big time. I hated a majority of the styling and most of the contestants were lackluster.)

All the top 4 is really close as Sofia has the best body, Kate has the best face, and Rachel had more memorability. Aastha however was able to combine all 3 features into this amazing shot. Anyways, Aastha’s body is banging here! I love how she put the exercise element of the shoot and connecting with the male model together. Her face also is great! I love how tired she looks while connecting with the male model and the haughty look in her eye is great! Aastha again improved herself!
