…But it’s not my business…
Some nights tumblr makes me really mad. All these takes I don’t agree with, people being mean to each other and choosing to not put aside their friends’ political affiliations, etc. etc. etc. Sometimes the only solution is to pour yourself a hot drink and mind your business while also simultaneously biting your tongue.

Hey guys maybe don't talk shit about Milkvans in their tag??
As much as I find Mike and El's relationship to be toxic, these are still fictional characters and they are allowed to ship them if they want.
Calling them dumb or making fun of them in their tag just contributes to the stupid rivalry and makes bylers look immature and rude.
People generally aren't mature enough to recognize nuance when they are defensive, so a Milkvan seeing one Byler do this will make them think "All Bylers are like this"
I don't really care what they think, but I do think that we should keep the nastiness between us to a minimum.
And I know some Milkvans are homophobic and sent anon hate to byler blogs. I receive it myself and I delete it rather than responding to it. But the fact that some people are doing that doesn't justify being rude to them in their tag. In fact being rude in their tag will probably breed more of this hate.
I have made jokes dissing Milkvans, but not in their tag.
Casual shipping wars are fun, but that's not what's going on here. A lot of people are taking the animosity very seriously. So maybe let's try to limit that, yeah?

Thinking about casual dominance!abby. Maybe it would start with simple things like always opening doors for you, or maybe she would tie your shoelaces for you, and then it just escalates from there. But— my LORD this woman could not handle one day without doing everything and anything for you, so of course it escalates into something more.
To elaborate— not the controlling, toxic type of casual dominance but more like the authoritative dominance that she knows you prefer and are okay with; like the type of dominance that shows she really cares about you.
Thinking about a scenario where she tells you when to go to sleep. You could be begging, even pleading with all your life just for her to let you have an extra fifteen minutes, only to be met with her stern but light-hearted refusals. “princess.. i told you no. you need sleep for tomorrow’s mission, ‘kay?” She says as she tucks you in, you still frustrated but ultimately just having no choice but to go to sleep.
Thinking of another scenario where she NEVER lets you top. Like EVER. I think she would be way too confident in herself that if ever you did try to top, that she would just shrug it off and laugh. “Pfft—you’re cute. Now, lay down for me, hm? Let me make you feel good.” She says right after you just attempted to top her.
To conclude the rant, abby would be VERY adamant on casual dominance.

Even if I didn't genuinely enjoy the first episode of she-hulk (which I did, it was very funny, and I needed to laugh after having a shitty week), I would still continue to watch it purely out of spite due to the whiny toxic boys in this toxic fandom review bombing it because "I am uncomfortable when it's not about me". Are there legitimate criticisms? Yes. However, if your only problem with it is that it's too "woke" (which thats not even what that word means, but its been stolen by racist white people and they have of course twisted the meaning, but I digress), then hit that unfollow and/or block button because I don't want you on my blog.

the level at which people are misusing the term "Never Again" in the far left absolutely infuriates me.
"Never Again" doesn't refer to the idea of no more genocides -- unfortunately people are evil and corrupt and seek scapegoats and destruction, there were genocides in the years following the Holocaust, there were genocides 10 years ago, there are multiple genocides going on as we speak
"Never Again" means we as Jews will pay attention to the warning signs, will not mindlessly allow antisemitism to fester and take over our communities, we will fight back. it means we will be proud. it means we will not let you hate us without a word of refusal.
"Never Again" is a warning for us, it is a reminder that what happened then can happen now -- is happening now. The Far Left doesn't get to use it against us. You don't get to turn our tragedies into hate-speech and antisemitic rhetoric.

"There's no strong female characters!", "Give us complex women!", "We want to see a range of female personality!"
They gave you Abby Anderson. Nina Zenik. Annabeth Chase. Shauna Sadecki.
It's been a gruelling fight to get crumbs of what we want, but frankly you don't deserve them. You don't deserve them if you're going to call for complexity, then whine about how they're too 'complicated'. How those women are 'too much' and 'not enough' at the same time. How they could have been better, how they should have been changed.
You hate Abby for being too strong, you hate Nina for being too forward, you hate Annabeth for being a leader, you hate Shauna for being a child.
You're given women that are complex, that are morally grey, that can't be stamped with a 'good' or 'bad', and how do you treat them? No, even better, how do you treat the people that advocate for them?
It's fine for the men to be morally gray, but God forbid a woman step into that role like you asked.
I'm sick, and I'm so tired, and this is exactly why I love writing morally grey women. Strong women, women that are unapologetic and powerful.
Grow up.

i'm super late to react about the tlou casting debacle, however you all know that i have strong opinions.
i'm sure that the actress who has been cast is incredibly talented, however i'm still extremely disappointed.
abby's looks are incredibly important to the entire storyline of the second game, and i had hopes that they would do her complexities justice. the writers used her stature and build as a serious plot device and let me tell you why:
she's taller than ellie. she's stronger than ellie. she's better trained than ellie.
does this stop her from continuously pitting herself against the woman? no. she is quite literally a cornered, feral animal. showing teeth and aiming for the jugular. it is not tenacity that we are seeing in ellie. it is pure, unadulterated rage. it singlehandedly burns her up from the inside out. nothing exists for her anymore except a singular goal and that is wiping out everyone who not just had a hand in killing joel but also had any relationship to those people. she's hunting them like prey.
we are supposed to look at abby and be scared. we are supposed to look at abby and think her capable of possibly besting ellie. we are supposed to see her, towards the beginning, as the "big bad evil guy". most of us are completely blind to the parallels when we're knee deep into the game because we love joel.
but that's when the shift happens. when you suddenly see abby in ellie's shoes. she's someone who just wanted to avenge the death of her father and all of his comrades.
though it was too late to save joel, ellie is murdering countless people in the name of someone she loves. she resented him for what he did to save her, and yet when faced with a similar situation she jumps head first into it without hesitation.
abby and ellie both had complete and utter tunnel vision. abby, who wanted to avenge her father and find the fireflies. ellie, who needed to make everyone pay for what they did to joel. both of them destroyed their own lives in their pursuits.
one of the most, if not the most emotional scene in the entire gameplay is the final showdown between abby and ellie. we see a weak (emaciated) abby fighting for her life against a strong, now incredibly skilled ellie. the role reversal is breathtaking.
this is why abby's looks mean so much. it is a testament to the absolute soul crushing sorrow that the both of them endured. most of which were mutually inflicted onto each other.
abby could have taken advantage of ellie's weaknesses and killed her in that theater, just as ellie could have done with abby.
ellie ends up turning into the very person that she hates most and her worst fear comes to life. she ends up alone.
the worst part of it all is that we know that joel wouldn't have wanted her to take any sort of revenge. she was living a happy, simple life with dina. the kind of life that joel had wanted for himself and for her. she can't even play guitar in order to feel connected to the man that had become her father.
he had died without her forgiveness. she is forced to live with that, all while being unable to forgive herself for what she has done.
and not to break anyone's hearts even more, but did anyone else catch the flowers that ellie put on joel's grave? blue hydrangeas. in the language of flowers they mean "forgiveness and regret".

I truly can’t articulate how enraging it is to be treated as inhuman simply because your body & mind are deemed as misshapen and alien to society.
I can’t articulate how upsetting it is that barely anyone speaks about the Disabled community when discussing social justice issues, for there to be crickets from mainstream media surrounding Disability. Yes, a lot of media attention is performative, but the Disabled community rarely gets basic acknowledgement. Basic acknowledgement goes further than people think.
Multiply marginalized Disabled people aren’t even welcomed to celebrate the other facets of their identities because ableism knows no bounds, it exists in those communities too.
People tell us to “stop playing victim” and “speak up”, so we do. And the responses we get are cruel and inadequate. We’re infantilized, used as inspiration p*rn, shut down, called “entitled” & “dramatic”, harassed, verbally abused. And worst of all? We’re ignored.
It’s Disability Pride Month and nobody but Disabled people are mentioning it. I can’t possibly articulate how infuriating it is trying to get people to understand that we’re beautiful human beings drowning in a society that clearly doesn’t value us. I want to speak up for this community and even for myself, but I come up empty, I’ve tried before and I no longer feel like I have bravery to spare.
It’s near impossible to throw out a life raft when you’re the one drowning. We need allyship.

Thinking about an argument scenario with abby, where you’re so fucking mad at her—but she just keeps trying to get you to fuck with her.
Of course—not an actual argument that would require a civilized or serious conversation, but more like a playful argument that you just happened to be way too invested in. (ex: an argument over what dip is better for chips, comparing you and hers favorite shows, etc. not actual serious stuff!) You could be furious out of your own mind—annoyed, aggravated, in the mood to throw a literal table at her, and all she would do is baby you.
You had been arguing about this for the past half hour, and she still had the audacity to sit here and smirk at you while she manspreaded on the couch. You were pacing around the room, rolling your eyes and trying to explain to her the problem at hand. “abby fucking anderson—just, god.” you said with the deepest sigh you’ve ever taken to put emphasis on how frustrated you really were. “Y’know what? We’ll just order doordash. God—you can’t fuckin’ take this seriously.”
Abby pouted with a laugh that sounded way too amused than it should’ve, which only made you even closer to actually throwing a table at her or something. She chuckles provokingly, “Aww, is my baby upset? does she just need a good fuck to keep her back in her place?” She said in such a way that bothered you way too much than it should have. You rolled your eyes and practically yelped, “abby—my fucking god.”
She looked at you teasingly with a cheeky smile on her face, “Yes pretty girl?”
You sighed, “Just—just be quiet. For gods sake.”
-
Next thing you know, you’re crumbling before her eyes as you bounced up and down on her 7 inch strap, the tip of it reaching the rim of your cervix.
She keeps her hands on your waist, being sure to give you enough support you need to ride her properly—but being sure to still also give you a little bit of a hard time.
She said with a sly smile, “Fuck…This is all my baby needed? Was some good cock? Hm?” She paused to thrust up into you, causing you to whimper. “Some good dick to make her shut up? Realize her place, Yeah?”
You nodded weakly, depending on her for practically giving your limbs all the stability it needed—looking at her with fucked out eyes. “M-mhhmm…”
She made sure to make you say it—to say you lost with your own mouth. “Won’t talk back to me anymore, won’t you baby?”
You nodded obediently like you did the past hundred times shes made you cum, “mmm—mmhmmm….w-wont…t-talk…” you paused to catch your breath, “..b-back..”
She pulled you close to her with a satisfied smile, “Atta girl.”
She knew she could dumb you down, no matter what.

A Very Long and Very Rage Written Rant about people talking about the FNAF Movie because I am seeing some takes that make me want to bash my head into a wall.
Very quickly an apology to my followers on here that followed me for Sonic. I would post this on my main but if you read my username I don't really have the time to do that right now. Very sorry for clogging up your TL.
Anyway, I am about to use very aggressive and targeted language. I am not hating on anyone specific but I am going to be saying sentences like "Are you dumb? Why are you like this?" Tumblr is my void and I am going to scream. I know some of the things I say may not be common knowledge. However, in this rant, I am going to pretend that it is. I am going to swear a lot. I am going to be talking about fist-fighting people whom I disagree with.
Just know that once again, this is a rant. Not a "please stop saying blah blah blah blah." I am not going to go out of my way to attack people. Which is, once again, why I am screaming here.
"Why the big warning?" BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ON MY MAIN BACK WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE RED EYES YELLED AT ME. MY POST WASN'T MEANT TO TARGET ANYONE SPECIFIC. I WAS MEANT TO BE YELLING AT A MADE-UP DUMMY I MADE IN MY MIND!
With that out of the way, it is time to scream.
OH MY FUCKING GOD SOME OF THE THINGS YA'LL ARE SAYING. I have never felt the urge to rip through my fucking screen and grab some of yall by the throat. I want to bodyslam you onto the ground and pummel you to death.
Let's begin with a recent complaint I saw about William having no motivation in the movie and how they should have given him his motivation, let me tell you something bud.
They did. They did give him his motive. However, this is a 2-hour movie and they didn't dive into it. It's almost like they're making a second movie or something? OH WAIT THEY ARE! THIS IS THE FIRST MOVIE! THEY ARE ESTABLISHING ROLES!
They want you to grasp from this movie that:
William is a threat.
Mike is doing his best and is not going to pick up on everything.
Abby and the missing kids are, indeed, regular-ass kids who aren't going to understand fully the situation they're in.
Vanessa is a traumatized individual who wants to please her father and was manipulated into helping him because, you know, THAT IS HER DAD.
They are setting up the basics so people know what to expect from the next film. They will, most likely, be going into William's motives then. But as of right now, they are setting the roles that each character is going to take.
I don't know how some of yall ain't getting that because it is the most clear as day thing to me but that may be because I am aiming to be a writer down the line.
Time to aim at the other complaint I've seen which is that Vanessa is an Afton complaint. All I have to say to that is, whoah, it's almost like the movie takes place in an alt-universe from the games. And even if Vanessa is an Afton in the games who gives a fuck? She isn't Williams's direct child if that's the case and it just ties her in with the old characters. A popular thing I have seen a couple of times is that sometimes people portray Gregory as an Afton. So what's so wrong about Vanessa being an Afton. I am genuinely curious here? What's wrong about her being an Afton.
Some of yall come up with the most stupidest ass complaints I swear to god.
"But Micheal is meant to be the Afton-" Tell me how that would have worked in this movie. Tell me how Mike would not have recognized his own father if he was William. Also, I like that the movie implies that his dad is probably Henry.
"How does it imply that?"
I don't know, why don't we look at the career office scene again where William reads Mike's last name and recognizes it. He wants to tie up his loose ends.
And Mike? Mike is a loose end.
It just makes sense and it goes into the last complaint I saw about the movie.
The "I always come back line doesn't make sense," complaint.
THE REASON WHY IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO YOU IS THAT YOU KEEP PLACING IT IN THE WRONG CONTEXT YOU FOOL, YOU ABSOLUTE BAFOON. YOU'RE PLACING IT IN THE GAME'S CONTEXT. NOT THE MOVIES.
If I am fucking right about the fact that Henry is a Schmidt in the movie then that means William has always been a part of Mike's life. He has been haunting Mike since he took Garret, he influenced Mike to get a job at Freddy's, and he was the reason why Mike met Vanessa.
When he said he'd come back, he wasn't talking about coming back from the dead.
He meant it as he'll come back and make Mike's life a living hell.
Anyway rant fucking over, yall pisses me off. Good day.
