After all the struggles, people demeaning our country for even trying. We are proving and showing again and again how our country survived all invasions and attacks. Our knowledge remained our experience remained, hence we remained.

I feel like such a bitch when I say I hate when westerners say “Asian” as a stand in to Chinese shit. Like. Okay. I get how with the whole Cold War 2.0 shit we have simmering rn but do you really need to associate everything China does that is positive with Korea or Japan whilst associating everything all eastern Asian county’s do wrong with China?
My hate level upgrades whenever I see a 抖音 trend get associated with Japan or Korea. Whenever a Chinese artist gets misrepresented as “Asian” artist. Wherever our history gets generalized so much that so many people in the world believe that Korea or Japan is the originator of 汉字 (Hanzi) or the myth of 孙悟空 (the monkey king). We were the biggest influence in Asia for almost 3000 years. No other East Asian county could compare historically to our influence. Not even Japan with their anime currently can compare to the sheer historical relevance that my country contributed from past the Yellow Sea to the Jordan River. I hate it how white people especially tend to ignore how much influence we hold. How historically important we are. And just make us into the modern day equivalent of their boogey man and worst political opponent ever™️.

I need someone who would respect my decision if I decided smartphones go in a faraday cage when at home and no bluetooth devices or hardwired microphones at home either. I am really tired of no privacy, or rather an inability to consent to being recorded constantly, and not being able to have conversations without immediately seeing posts about my niche topic du jour

every time i talk about the little palace i might start crying. it was meant to be aleksandr's childhood dream, a paradise where all grisha could be free & live in peace & now, when it turned out to be neither freedom nor peace, he argued that at least they would be safe ( - er than outside ) but then even that was no longer true & anyway i can understand large portions of his initial frustration with the entire world
