#me 2 weeks after getting a whole new season: FINALLY some FOOD #wot #wot on prime #the wheel of time #also the head writer for the episode is the same one who did 1x06 and 2x07 so people are speculating it'll be aes-sedai-heavy #but i think we can't necessarily make that leap just yet it's a big assumption #especially since the 2x08 closing shot was 'hey these 6 are the main characters now' #so it would be somewhat odd to go right back to moiraine-focus in 3x01. but who knows! maybe they will #you know actually the more i think about it the more i think it could make sense #to have Catchup With Siuan & Liandrin & The Tower as the A plot of the episode #while the falme gang spends the episode collecting themselves and getting into place for their main plotlines for the season #and maybe having some downtime and just talking to each other and reuniting in more detail #adding #wot book spoilers #for some of my tag/comment speculations

Every time we get disabled or chronically ill characters in a tv show I actively fall platonically in love with them. The boost of serotonin I get from being represented in the MOST BADASS way speaks to the real-life aspect of living with pain or having physical limitations imposed on you. You grow out of them, and you thrive despite them (sometimes BECAUSE of them) and I think that is really poetic, and lovely, and I love these characters so much. Shut up, I'm fine

And this is why I think George could (will) one day be WDC. Lando? Sure, he's talented, cannot be denied, but I have the feeling that one day his arrogance (funny how many George haters think he's the arrogant one, right?) will be his demise.

George is confident, not arrogant, you can tell in the way he approaches a challenge. George will be the first guy out after even a GOOD day on track, to say he needs to do more. He and Lewis are immediately picking over their improvements.

Lando, I’m sure the guy has skill that that god awful mclaren is holding back, but he also has an attitude to other drivers that really rankles me. Particularly after George got his pole in Hungary, I remember Lando being interviewed by sky and all the guy could do was mention how he could have done that, and that he could be beating George. Even if it’s a joke/banter, it really didn’t feel fun to watch.

It’s not a joke I see George make, the only time he’s usually mentioning other drivers is to talk about how he and Lewis are chasing the ferrari/Redbull cars.

The main reason I think we’ll see a George WDC is he has team leadership drive. It’s a spark, not every driver has it, and you need both it, and a bucket full of skill, to win. Lewis knows how to lead his team, he commands their presence around him. George has that too, even new as he is George KNOWS how to demand drive from his team, both in Mercedes AND Williams. He knows how to argue with them without ignoring them. You Need that. It’s why Max, much as I hate the guy, leads his team. Max is an ass, but all of RB bends for him, that’s why he has so much success over Sergio. It’s how he can even get close to winning his first wdc this year (the frankly illegal car helped too).

On the flipside of Lando, you have Charles Leclerc, someone with so much raw talent, but the guy just doesn’t know how to command a team. To be fair to him, he’s dealing with Ferrari, they’re harder to push, but Carlos is walking over him despite Charles being a much stronger driver. It let RB run away with the championship when Charles should have been able to challenge them. Charles NEEDS to learn to force Ferrari to put him first, Carlos isn’t close to as skilled and he needs to push tbat

To summarise, drivers need three things to make them strong champions: Driving Skill, Confidence, Humility and it doesn’t hurt to have a good car ;)
