If I had a nickel for every show where there is a extremely pretty lady that's been made tough by the hard life she's had, serving in an organization that isn't good all the time but isn't bad, while carrying the trauma of something she can't talk about, and she serves as the right hand lady of her male best friend that is the top leader of their work place who is goofy, likes to cook, makes dad jokes, and has just absolute dad energy, and is going to die and they know it, and they're both (non cannon, except to me) bisexual and they are just as blorbo together if they are life long best friends or married, and they both mentor / parent a witty, dark haired female lead that has trauma from both her traumatic childhood and the fact she is descended from someone who has weird genetics that gave them power but was also a murderer that hurt people, so she fears she is a monster until meeting someone almost like her who explains that her genetic mutation isnt morally bad and she isnt genetically predisposed to being a monster and they all work together and go on missions sometimes out in space but they are such a family it kills me

I'd have two nickels which like. I love.

But like. Melinda may, Philip Coulson and Daisy Johnson are just. So Una Chin Riley, Christopher Pike, and La'an Noonien Singh. The venn diagram is a circle. I am going insane over this

this scene where she realizes her demise is imminent because she just saw agent ross die turn into a skrull in front of her and knows she’s gonna be a goner no matter what but also the hair.

NGL I made fun of this scene a lot the camera work is horrible and it’s so awkward and it makes no sense.

then this scene where she changed to her only other article of clothing, a second gray hoodie like a mom in a 2012 yogurt commercial.

and finally, when Nick brought back those infrared glasses from space that he just happened to have like he knew they were gonna need them ahead of time and then acting like they are essential for some reason to this very dumb and terrible plan. But NGL they did look gay and cute as hell.

I refuse to look at any screen caps further into Operation Glasses

(( Also, I was just thinking about how even if she did survive being shot that dirty bomb radiation would have gotten her, right? Also, why did the dirty bombs not affect real Fury? Surprise another plot hole. ))

Watching Secret Invasion, got me thinking about Agents of Shield and if it's really canon in the MCU or not. (I think it is) Because all of us are like literally clowning rn wanting to see Daisy or Coulson or literally anyone from AOS in the MCU like, actually in the MCU!

And I was thinking about it, since I know, show creators or Kevin mby said that it isn't cannon in the MCU, I don't remember really but it got me thinking: why wouldn't it be cannon? Because everything that happens is actually possible in the MCU (like time travel etc) and also it was really closely connected with the first few seasons (it was a spinoff from The Avengers c'mon). So like where in the show would it go away from being connected/canon in the MCU?!?! For me it only make sense maybe like around season 5 when Fitz died. Maybe, because that changed the entire thing in the show, like changed the future that they came from in 2049 was it, I don't remember I watched the show long ago so I don't remember everything really well.

If it is Fitz dying that would make it not canon, wouldn't the TVA then you know, do something about it?!

And we know from Loki that TVA does something when not canon stuff happens. So seasons 6 and 7 are what is suppossed to happen. Idk but I'm still clowning about seeing Daisy or Coulson or anyone actually in Secret Invasion because I want to see them again on my screen, like, I really wanna see them again and I know I can rewatch the show. Okay. I know, but it's a long show. So I'm not going to do it right now. I have exams.

So just like tell me your opinion, do you think it's possible to see Daisy or whoever in SI and in you opinion is AOS canon in the MCU or not? Idk

there is something about agent May's character development that's so wholesome and beautiful. she goes from steel cold, hardened after a traumatic mission, following orders and only half trusting her team, though doubtlessly caring for them, to a mother figure for daisy and robin, the only one who still has hope, a softened version of her that hasn't lost her strength because strength comes from more than kicking ass and building walls around yourself. there is power in vulnerability and empathy. in understanding. she didn't became naïve and she didn't lost her fight skills (she's still the best) but she grew so much and let herself feel so much more is just so *keyboard smash*

Incredibly controversial Hot Take warning! My opinion on Secret Invasion on a certain thing.

(Spoilers)

...I'm kinda okay that they killed Hill and (possibly) Talos' daughter- HEAR ME OUT! I think it could of been done better, or atleast more respectfully to the characters...But I also get why they are doing this: To make Fury loose more and more of the people he trusted and make him either fight this solo (doubtful) or make a new inner circle. It also gives a Game Of Thrones-type of suspense where you don't know what characters will stay alive, be killed off, or switch sides. I don't think it has much to do with the characters killed off being women, as many others see it. Mostly cause Fury's male allies are also probably gonna ditch him too. I mean my main issue with Hill's death is they could've gone the Rhodes route and just make her loose her trust in Fury and ditch him. And on Talos' daughter...It might be a fake out cause we see in a trailer clip her alive and (possibly) Talos dead, but who knows. Either way it works for the story. So yeah...Hot Take over.
