A/N: I threw this in with the ‘Opposites Attract’ world because I love it and i felt like it would go great. I promise I’ll get more Opposites Attract stuff out and create a masterlist for it:) anywhooo enjoy

Jake Seresin took a lot of pride in his things. He took pride in his body, in his flying skills, in the fancy suped up truck he drove, and how stunning his wife looked almost nine months pregnant with their third child, and wearing a beautiful formal gown that accented her growing bump. He had dragged her to yet another awards ball. She was glowing, and Jake couldn’t take his eyes off of her as she talked to Rooster and his girlfriend. Jake couldn’t also help the fact that all of his blood seemed to be rushing to his lower region, as his green eyes raked over her frame.

He loved her body no matter what, but there was something about seeing her carrying his children that turned him on to no extent. She was just one of those people who were made to be pregnant. She just seemed to take everything in stride when it came to morning sickness, or her ankles swelling, or crying over her favorite cup being in the dishwasher. The physical side of seeing her body change was also what got Jake going, her breasts becoming swollen, her hips filling out more, her growing belly as the months stretched on.

Jake pushed himself up from the table, adjusting himself in his black trousers before walking over to where Y/N was. She laughed at something Rooster said, her hand on her belly as Jake walked up behind her, placing a hand on her hip.

“What’s so funny, Bradshaw?” Jake asked his friend.

“Nothing, just telling her this story about Alex and Olivia last week when I took them to Mav’s hangar. Alex was going crazy over Liv running around with this wrench,” Rooster said. Jake let his hands slip under the bottom of her bump, lifting up slightly, and she sighed in relief. She looked over her shoulder at Jake and smiled at him, “This going to be your last one?”

“I think so,” Y/N said, looking down at her growing belly, “Unless, Daddy here, can convince me otherwise.”

The playful word sent a shockwave that went straight to his cock. It wasn’t unusual for the two of them to throw around the words ‘mommy’ or ‘daddy’ when talking about each other, but there was something about the smirk on her face that made Jake stiffen. Jake set her bump back down slowly, his hands staying on her hips.

“We’ll see, if this one is anything like Livie, we might be done,” Jake laughed, “Come on, love, we better take out seats before the awards.”

Y/N nodded, and took Jake’s hand, letting him lead her back to the table. Jake had a hard time paying attention to what Maverick was saying, as he kept looking between the stage and his wife. Her hair was curled and pulled back behind her shoulders, exposing her beautiful neck. Images of the times Jake had slipped his hand around her throat, or his lips left sloppy kisses in a trail. He shifted, and Y/N looked over at him, seeing the slight blush on his neck dipping below the collar of his white button up.

“You okay?” She leaned over and asked him.

Jake nodded, looking around the table, everyone was engrossed in what Maverick was saying to pay attention to Jake acting shifty. He grabbed her hand, and placed it directly over his hard cock through his dress pants. Y/N’s eyes nearly popped out of her head as she coughed on the water she was sipping. Bob snapped his head towards her, and she smiled at him shyly, her face turning red and waving off Bob’s glance. Bob looked between the two of them suspiciously, as he turned back around to continue to watch Mav give his speech. Y/N waited a beat before leaning into Jake again.

“Are you serious right now!? In the middle of your awards ball?!” She whispered.

“I can’t help it!” Jake said back, “It’s not my fault you keep turning me on!”

“By doing what?!” She giggled and Jake just shrugged, looking her over.

“By just existing,” He smiled, and Y/N blushed. He shuffled closer to her, placing his arm on the back of her chair. He leaned down and placed a kiss on her cheek, “You walk into a room and I get hard. Don’t even have to do anything. Could be covered in baby vomit, and haven’t washed your hair in four days, and I’m still poppin a stiffy for you.”

Y/N smiled and looked up at her husband, “And they say chivalry is dead.” He smiled down at her, gently placing a hand on her cheek and bringing her in for a kiss. Y/N pulled back and whispered in his ear, “What do you say we get out of here. . . sir.”

Jake all but purred as the word left her mouth, “You go first, I’ll tell them you’re having contractions or something,” Y/N shook her head with a laugh, as she grabbed her purse, waiting for when Maverick called up some random sailor to give them some random award, before standing up and moving to the exit. The table of aviators couldn’t help but turn and watch as Y/N left in a bit of a hurry for a pregnant woman.

“Where is she going?” Phoenix asked.

“She’s having contractions,” Jake said, grabbing his hat from the middle of the table.

“Holy shit! Like bad ones?” Rooster asked, straightening in his chair. Rooster was the on-call nanny for when Y/N would go into labor again. Even though the kids were currently at Sarah Kazansky’s house, Rooster knew that he’d have to get them if Y/N was going into labor.

“He’s lying,” Bob said, “She’s fine, he’s just hard.”

“This is why you’re not godfather,” Jake said, pointing at the quiet WSO. Bob just smirked, grabbing his water as Jake, waved them all goodbye and headed for the same door his wife walked out of.

And a couple weeks later, when Elliot Lewis Seresin was born. . . Bob was named the godfather.

What are your opinions on each of the songs? (you can answer with as much or as little detail as you'd like)

Big shocker that the songs from the 2 good episodes are in S and the only one that isn’t is still B tier/sar

The first 2 songs in S made me either tear up/shake violently or cry, and therefore they deserve to be up there IMO. Out for love is also just genuinely catchy and had actual build up to it. Also God “Ready for This” just. OOUGGGHHH IT SCRATCHES MY BRAIN SO GOOD LIKE A WARRIOR CATS MAP. I like it a lot. You cant have multiple characters sing about working together and expect me to NOT cry.

“Stayed Gone” isn’t one I listen to often but it’s so peppy and fast and full of hatred I can’t help but enjoy it. Also everytime the song starts my brain does this

I dont know anything about Welcome Home

I have. Issues. With “Loser, Baby” but aside from those the song holds a lot more weight to it than I usually give it credit for. And for as cheesy as the start if it is, the line before of Angel talking about self destructing resonates with me a lot. Also Husk lays down in a puddle of vomit and no one talks about that ever.

I think the first song in B is “Happy Day in Hell” and I’m adding it there 1. Because it is the first song 2. It gets a reprise thing 3. Charlie almost gets hit by a truck. Other than that it’s not really my favourite but I respect the impact it has.

“Hell is Forever” just fucks. End of story. Alex Brightman killed it.

“Respectless” is good I love Velvette’s VA, but the sudden start of the song and the ending are so out of left field the first time me and my friends watched this show we had to pause cause we lost our fucking minds. Could’ve been better but I’d listen to it again, yeah.

“Hell’s Greatest Dad” is silly and funny and maybe I’m biased as a violin player and jazz enjoyer but a lot of the instrumental tickles my brain so nicely. I will say though it confuses me so much because why does Alastor care about being seen as a father figure?? My mom said it could just be him wanting to show up Lucifer and that’s it but I dunno.

“More than Anything (Reprise)” AKA “Charlie and Veggie Kiss Scene - Hazbin Hotel”

This song sounds like it’s straight out of Barbie & Th Diamond Castle and I’m honestly pissed the girls in the movie didn’t kiss so I’m coping with this. ALSO THE FACT ITS A REPRISED SONG ABOUT LOVE MAKES ME A BIT CRAZY. I never noticed this was the same song Lucifer sang to Charlie SOMEHOW but that’s actually really cute.

“It Starts With Sorry” Has a big part in Sir Pentious’s character growth and just his character in general. I’ve been working on this in my Pentious rant but I never see people mention how much this song probably meant to him. Yeah it’s super corny, but he was fully expecting to be killed and had just been told to kill himself. This was definitely huge for him and I’m not gonna be convinced otherwise.

“You Didn’t Know” is really good but Lute’s part is by far the best and I pray to GOD she gets her own song in S2 her voice actor can SING. GODDAMN! I am very interested in Lute’s character development and I love seeing what people do with close-minded characters like that and hopefully Vivzie doesn’t condemn her to Vivziepop Woman Syndrome. If she isn’t important in S2 I’m going to be pissed but I dunno maybe S3 if we get one.

“More Than Anything” Wish my dad was like this! This song is incredibly sweet and I appreciate it a lot. Honestly might go way higher on the list if I keep thinking about it.

“Whatever It Takes” Sorry you will never be Imagine Dragons. Vaggie doesn’t sound anything like herself cause her VA is making her voice so much more gruff for her character, which is fine! I like her voice (the voice direction is not very good but I digress) it’s just her voice is so high in this I can’t even tell it’s Vaggie.

“Welcome to Heaven” is boring, but we got a Molly cameo!

“Poison”. Read this and this and this. -10/10. I’d rather make out violently with Elon Musk.

@merclaren was nice enough to send me cropped out pics of drivers’ hands so I can rate them blindly. Let me tell you, I was not happy with some of the results (Oscar, Charles, George & Lando weren’t included I’m way too familiar with theirs 🤭 and they’re in the top 6 anyways).

it’s taken me almost a month to finally listen to the sweeney todd revival recording and it’s so surreal because it’s like…the remnants of why this music is seared into my being don’t quite exist in the way they should on this blog, it’s (frankly dear, forgive me candor) intrinsic more than displayed, but knowing it intimately inside and out, you’d think another cast would be much like previous iterations, except they’re always different experiences because of variations in portrayal and vocal characterization, and the lush orchestrations here filling out their world (my sense memory so used to the stripped down, eerie doyle revival arrangements that alex’s grand ones returning to the tunick originals do change the atmosphere. there’s no conceit here, it’s a beating, bleeding heart).

josh has such a specifically beautiful baritone that it could easily be too romantic for this part, instead he utilizes it like a blade. the chemistry between he and annaleigh has its own energy (some of the michael and patti sinister psychosexual obsession, some of the detachment warring with mania of george and angela, but there’s also a curious rapport to their cunning and their “arrangement” lending them slivers of humanity - these are people who’ve lost everything, you can’t expect them to be rational).

anyway i easily know everyone involved has succeeded when i reach my friends and get goosebumps (see how they glisten…), when green finch feels like my heart is trying to escape my chest (have you decided it’s safer in cages, singing when you’re told?), when johanna makes me teary (i was half-convinced i’d waken, satisfied enough to dream you…the reprise is going to destroy me! another bright red day!), and when epiphany makes me feel extremely sick to my stomach only for “seems a downright shame…” to make me want to cackle with madness. is it really good? sir, it’s too good at least.

this will always be a story, to me, about love in the most visceral, terrifying sense, and its absence and corruption and destruction and tragedy, how depriving and breaking people individually and systemically consumes what would otherwise nourish. love buried in a grave of the past and love unrequited and love at the windowsill dying to escape and love in the basement set on fire. if only angels could prevail, we’d be the way we were. you’re gone and yet you’re mine.

RIORDANVERSE IN HOGWARTS HOUSES

Gryffindor: Hazel Levesque, Piper McLean, Thalia Grace, Clarisse La Rue, Reyna Ramirez-Arellano, Thomas Jefferson Jr., Halfborn Gunderson, Mallory Keen

Gryffindor’s main traits are bravery (obviously), being headstrong, poor impulse control, team players. Hazel? She prevented the apocalypse by killing a giant, her mother, and herself, single-handedly putting Gaea to sleep again. Piper is the girl who told The Daughter Of Athena to ignore her brain and just feel. Thalia was literally immortalized for her bravery on Half-Blood Hill. Clarisse fought the drakon in the Battle of Manhattan and kicked its ass by herself. Reyna’s mother is the goddess of strength and bravery, and she has the ability to share that through her troops. TJ physically cannot say no to a challenge. Halfborn wins brawls with two axes and no shirt. Mallory armed and blew up a fucking car bomb because some stranger pushed her to. This group is the definition of YOLO… I guess except for TJ, Halfborn, and Mallory. They’re more like ‘YOLI’- you only live infinitely.

Hufflepuff: Nico di Angelo, Will Solace, Frank Zhang, Magnus Chase

Puff People traits- kindness and patience, balance and mediation. But they also take those who don’t fit into any other house. That’s my main reason for Nico; it’s like his whole character. Will and Magnus are both healers exasperated by their friends and chaotic partners almost dying all the time. Frank is a shapeshifter with crazy diverse lineage, meaning he doesn’t quite fit anywhere as well. This group is needed to be the mediums of their groups.

Ravenclaw: Annabeth Chase, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Samirah Al-Abbas

Before you come at me for stereotyping Annabeth as an Athena kid = Ravenclaw, Ravenclaws are witty, quick thinkers, and as logical as possible. That’s literally her. This is the girl who came up with, on the spot with a broken leg, to trap Arachne with her own webs. Rachel is The Prophet of the Greeks, and she acts the part. Sam has the best work/school/religion/life balance I’ve ever seen in my life, and she’s nailing all of it. These girls are the brains of every operation and you can’t convince me otherwise.

Slytherin: Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, Calypso, Leo Valdez, Alex Fierro

MY PEOPLE- Us Slytherins are cunning and ambitious, duh, but also loyal to a fault and would kill for our family, blood or not. Percy is easily a Slytherin- loyalty is literally his fatal flaw. Jason is interesting, but I wanted to put him here because his actual life goal is getting his orange and purple friends to get along. Calypso would have been a major factor in Percy and Annabeth’s deaths in Tartarus because of that curse she threw at him; that girl holds a grudge. Leo Valdez is the most stubborn egotistical asshole we all love to see, and his sarcasm is one of the best things about him (Percy too). Alex… I really shouldn’t have to explain. They’re like the most Slytherin Slytherin ever.

anyways!! Percy Jackson!! is not a Gryffindor!! HIS FATAL FLAW IN CANON IS LOYALTY. THAT IS A DEFINING TRAIT OF SLYTHERINS.

Cheap Bouquet (Alex/Sebastian Playlist)

The Jock, the Goth, and the sheer sexual tension between them.

Look, they had a history alright? You can’t convince me otherwise.

Yeah, I know that TECHNICALLY 🤓☝️ Sebastian is more emo than goth AND I DID PUT EMO AT FIRST but it just flows better as jock and goth rather than jock and emo.

This playlist is based on their fics that I’ve read so yeah there are many songs alluding to them having sex first, feelings and *gag* love later. So yeah you can listen to this while reading the fourth frenemies with benefits story of them.

Also also, let’s be real, they won’t have a healthy relationship from the get-go. They both are extremely prideful and with their past with each other (that nobody really knows about so feel free to think whatever but in their canon dialogue they are definitely … opinionated) they may be a little (or point blank) toxic, despite the fact they’re more alike than they want to admit. Which is not a bad thing, I love drama.

So yeah, this is different from my Sambastian playlist since they’re not close in canon and there are little to none dialogues supporting them so I’m basing it off of their fics in AO3 and also my own interpretation of the ship. Which is why the in the moodboard, there are no pics of their canon interests (sports, bikes, etc.) because I made it more of their fanon relationship.

TL;DR this playlist is about sex, a not-so-healthy relationship with it and with each other, remorse and forgiveness of past actions, and fearing yet longing for actually falling for the inevitable.

DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms liveblog A Hole New World

The Hidden World comment is pandering but that’s actually sorta a funny / natural one to say.

Alex continues to be the best thing about this show. Also she’s cute. I want to squish her cheeks.

“Are you stalking me? That’s so sneaky.” “I’m sneaky? I think you have me mixed up with yourself.” WRITE BETTER DIALOGUE DUDES.

“He has this lightning thing...” [dragon gets scratched under chin and collapses to the ground] haha.

They honestly don’t have good rationale written into the story for why not to tell adults about the dragons. Like, it’s there, but it’s not. A few stray lines about “the corporation” and “too dangerous” does not a strong reason make. You gotta lean into it, especially because we’re talking about kids, whose reasonings are not going to be the same as adult reasonings. Alex is the only one who believably would make these arguments.

“June! June, it’s safe!” says the boy who’s almost fallen off a dragon or nearly plunged to his death every time he’s been in the air. Tommmm.

For all I know that TNR blatantly, repeatedly references and parallels HTTYD (have had multiple friends vent about that hahaha), I’m happy that June’s flight wasn’t spun like an Astrid romantic flight. The music stayed with the triumphant main theme, and while both June and Astrid were scared to be on a dragon, it’s for different reasons, and it’s different reactions. June loves dragons; she’s just not as bold as Tom. That’s rather different from courageous, dragon-fighting Astrid being yoinked into the sky against her desire. Tom has already convinced June to keep the dragon a secret. And Tom doesn’t need to get on better terms with June, who’s content to be with a childhood friend.

“I can’t believe how friendly they are,” June says as she hugs a Terrible Terror. In my hypothetical rewrite, the Terrible Terror lunges at her and tries to eat her nose.

I mean come on these are Terrible Terrors. They are the epitome of obnoxious. I wanna see obnoxiousness.

Of course, a calm dragon is easier to animate, and this show has more conservative and less swift movements a la budget constraints.

Okay but that’s a lovable and creative dragon design. THAT is the spirit of HTTYD dragon species creativity, borrowing from unique species in the real world, etc.

“I dunno, your destiny looks really angry.” pfffffft XD

One head eating the necklace and the other burping is a hysterical touch.

Seriously how can you not love these things?

Haven’t talked about it before but another area of clear limited budget is the environments. A few objects repeated, otherwise bare. But it’s not the most important thing to talk about. It doesn’t make or break a show.

Thunder’s tail having a triangle-esque webbing instead of Toothless’s duo webbing is a nice, small difference.

Being chased by the spiky dudes would be more realistic if you established they had poor vision or poor smell or some sense.

The amount of the dragons understanding language is going to bother me. Albeit I know the fandom does this lots too. I like seeing the animals from a more naturalistic, realistic sense, which means non-human animals don’t understand human gestures, don’t do human gestures, and don’t understand human speech in all but a few heavily repeated words.

ROTFLHHHHHH did you notice she abruptly switched heads on which dragon she was riding when they cut away? ANIMATION ERROR.

How fast they bond with the dragons is unrealistic, but it doesn’t annoy me because 1). the ROB/DOB/RTTE series sometimes fast-tracked that, too, and 2). TNR doesn’t have many episodes, so instead of making montages or something, they’re speeding up the trust process. Suspension of disbelief is what I’m gonna do, knowing it’s harder to pull off narratively given their time limit.

Small drabble I wanted to do, I got inspiration from Mary on a Cross by Ghost to do an art piece but then was inspired to write this from that sketch so here's this

Word Count: 659 Words

Warnings: Suggestive themes

“I don’t think this is a great idea, not here, not now…not yet.”

“Alex, I would never do anything to put you in harm's way, I wouldn’t offer this if I thought it was going to hurt you.”

“I know, I know that but..what if your brothers find out? What if MY sister finds out? John and Joseph hate my guts no matter how much Joseph makes it seem like it is for my own good.” My mind was racing, this whole thing had been killing me since it started, “And if my sister does find out don’t you think she’ll go running to John? Don’t you think Joseph would kill you or me? What Joseph uses you to get to me? Have you thought any of this through??”

I could see his slight frustration, but he isn’t the only one upset in this situation.

“First off, they’re not going to find out, you can trust me on that. I can’t stop your fight with this, and I don’t plan on it. You know how I view my soldiers and you know me. And on top of that, what makes you think I’d let Joseph do anything to you?” Grabbing my face I couldn’t dare to bring myself to look into his eyes, I can already barely think straight but if I saw his eyes, full of hope..confusion..lust love everything we have shared this far?

I love him, but the backlash of this could be fatal to us both, damage not only my reputation but his as well.

“Please, Alex, I love you, let me at least do right by you and prove it. Your power, your strength, I want you to be my one, my only.” I could feel my body tensing up, as much as I love Jacob, I still fear his bothers. John and Joseph have power in their own right and even Faith as well. How can I know? Do I even want to? I would die for him..

“You understand I have to keep fighting right? Your brothers won’t leave me alone, and until they’re convinced otherwise to stop what they’re doing or at least do it more ethically. I can’t stop fighting for the others of hope county.”

“I understand that, and I’ll give you this. You can keep fighting my men, but no more kidnappings on my end. I also can’t fully give up this fight if we want to keep this a secret.” Could this really work? Could I be, although not officially, married to Jacob? A cult herald? My head tells me anything could go wrong but my heart says otherwise.

“This can work, we can make this work.” There was a shine in his icy blue eyes, something he almost never had in the first place, and considering his own trauma, I can’t blame him for his constant brooding nature.

“Y’know, honey, it’s not official till I get a yes…” Typical, always traditional in all of his ways, but I do love it.

“Then yes, I will marry you, Jacob.”

“I knew you would.” He smirks at me and slowly gets down on his knees so that his head rests on my legs. He looks up at me as I’m sitting on the end of our bed. I reach my hand out to him and I hold his face in one of them. I then move my other hand to rest on his jaw, gently rubbing it. I begin to pull him towards me and he crawls up to me, almost like something was pulling him away from him.

“All I want is to worship you.” I stare at the burns on his face as he hovers over me, I slowly rub them feeling admiration and empathy for him. He lowers his face to mine giving a rough kiss before moving to my ear and biting it.

“I have ways for you to do that..pup.”

wanted to live out the rest of his life in the states, but the job he wanted fell through and he had to return to korea.

arrived after his grandfather's funeral took place and his parents told him to start over by taking over his grandfather's old business — isang wonders

didn't love the idea of returning to ilsang because he's reminded of why he hated his birthname and all the memories of everyone thinking he was a girl before meeting him

lowkey triggered because no one knows he legally changed his name to seongwon years ago so everyone still calls him seongyi

lives in yeonhwa-gil because he’s in his grandfather’s old home was there. absolutely hates it because it smells like fish like all the time and he also hates eating fish.

a full grown ass man but can’t sell the house because his parents won’t allow him to. lol

it’s 3 fucking am and you keep hearing something meowing in the street but it doesn’t sound like the cats you usually hear. you go to look to see if its an injured cat but you find this nutcase in nothing but a tshirt, shorts and sandals meowing to a dark corner. he tells you the electricity went out in his house and he didn’t want to be alone so he’s trying to find a cat to keep him company outside.

you run into seongyi and think he’s a foreigner because he’s speaking fluent english. commence being convinced he’s not a native until he steps in dogshit and starts swearing up a storm.

it’s getting late and the library is closing and they’re kicking you out. but you notice there’s some guy sitting in the corner that they haven’t mentioned and say you’re with him.... now you’ve both been kicked out and seongyi is kindaa annoyed bec he was like five books deep in research and the librarian yelled at him.

the elders of yeonhwa-gil have organized a neighborhood dinner and both you and seongyi were invited. surprise surprise, they only have fish. fish stew. grilled fish. steamed fish. pan-fried fish. just everything you could think of plus fish. seongyi sees you brought something that ISN’T fish and honestly, you’re his new best friend in that moment.

hi yeonhwa-gil neighbor. the plumbing and electricity both stopped working in my house and for some reason the electrician is not picking up his phone. can i use your bathroom. except i keep coming when it’s super late or super early until you get sick of me and tell me to go to just get a room at haedodi.

welp I finished Prey and I’m annoyed at myself for not playing it sooner

I’ll admit, the ending was frustrating due to lack of resources, loading screens, and a lot of deaths, but otherwise I enjoyed it. It was a solid Arkane experience and I’ll definitely be revisiting it.

I think the thing I enjoyed most was how Alex and Morgan’s relationship reminded me so much of Vi and Jinx’s. The older sibling who loves their sibling but they’ve changed so much and they fail to see that by yearning for who they used to be, they’re pushing them away? The younger sibling who’s changed so much that their sense of identity has slipped from them and they can’t quite trust the world around them anymore?

Alex loves Morgan, it’s undeniable. He loves his sibling. But if you choose the self-destruct ending, he laments that the Morgan he knew is gone, that he lost his sibling forever despite the fact that Morgan is still standing there right in front of him. He wants the old Morgan back, the Morgan he remembers. He convinces himself he can still get them back, much like how Vi is convinced she can ‘reach’ Powder.

Vi believed that Jinx was a monster created by Silco and that he sister was still trapped inside, able to be freed. But Powder is Jinx, and Jinx is Powder. No matter how much she’s changed, it’s the fundamental truth. And in failing to see that, in failing to love Jinx, Vi loses her just as Alex loses Morgan.

And Morgan... Morgan went from being so certain of everything, to pushing every line, every boundary, to wanting to run away from it, to wanting to blow it up. They end up inverting on themselves. They disassociate from who they used to be. That Morgan isn’t them, not really, and they would never have agreed to anything that Morgan wanted. Powder is a sweet young girl who isn’t a fighter, but then she falls down a well and becomes Jinx who kills without hesitation or remorse. Powder is no longer who she is. Powder is dead. She’s Jinx now and Jinx is perfect. They both end up changing so much that their older siblings can’t reconcile their feelings with the reality. They love these people, but they’re Not Right, and if they push hard enough, reach far enough, they can get their siblings back.

B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

Ugh. Ain't Nothing Funny When a Soldier Cries has some personal experiences in it, as does Girl Crush. One was more fun to write than the other.

F: Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

You're making me think. Ugh. Let's see... From "You Rescued Me From Reachin' for the Bottom"

'Alex dabbed and wiped with a gentle touch until Reggie’s face was clean. Tossing the dishcloth into the sink, he stepped to the freezer for a bag of peas. When he came back, he gently laid the frozen peas against Reggie’s eye. Using his free hand to grab Reggie’s hand, he squeezed softly, then said, “Tell me who did this to you.”'

It's just...ugh, words are hard. I have a really soft spot for protective friends, and Alex is so often portrayed as the soft, sensible, voice of reason, while the other guys are the "kick the shit out of them" sort. I love the way I characterized Alex in this fic, as the one who will protect Reggie at any cost.

N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?

I would absolutely love to have someone finish my JATP Beauty and the Beast AU! But I have to be honest...they would have to follow at least my idea for it, even if they didn't write it exactly the way I would. It has some....twists planned, and it would definitely be different from anything else I've ever read.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

You! And Faith. <3 I literally wouldn't write at all if it weren't for the two of you, and your writing...gosh, both of you can move me to tears with a sentence. Sometimes even when it isn't supposed to be sad.

T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

I think I answered that earlier? But basically, not really. Not a huge fan of major character death, but over all, if it's well-written, I'll try it out.

U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

Oh, wow. Only three? Well, there's you, obviously. The pictures you paint with your words are just...heart wrenching, in all the best ways. I truly can't remember the last one of your fics that I read where I didn't cry at least once, and usually more.

Lomonaaeren is another. They write in the HP fandom. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry, they have convinced me to try new ships...I have never read one of their works that I didn't end up loving! I'm subscribed to get notices for absolutely everything they post.

And I can't choose a third, because there are SO. DAMN. MANY talented writers out there!!

V: If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

Oh, I was afraid someone would ask this one.

Writing a prequel for The Strength of Gold could be really interesting! Finding out what happened to get the guys to the point they are in that fic....yeah. But that author is WAY out of my league, so I wouldn't even approach them!

wanted connections: alan bruno !

his twin brother / the ford to his stan ! obviously this would be the case of picking up a new characters afhldks but literally think of stanley pines vs. stanford pines. as explained in the intro, alan and alex ( ‘al’ and ‘lex’ ) grew up relying on each other, close as could be ! in their youth, their differing, almost opposite, personalities clicked together perfectly. but, the older they got, the more the opposite became true. y/m ( alex ) became more obsessive, more withdrawn ; alan became more deceitful, more aggressive. it culminated in a terrible falling out. alan moved to stars hollow four years ago. whether y/m moved earlier or later is up to you ! ( 0/1 ) ( must be amab )

high and dry ! romance is not something alan understands. he’s heard of the concept, but he’s never felt it. thus, he and y/m met somewhere ( be it a chance encounter, through a dating app, etc. ) and hit it off. perhaps it was a drunk decision, perhaps it wasn’t, but the two decided to leave their meeting place and boink. now, even if there was no romance ? the sheer fact that alan got along with them and had good sex with them was enough to prompt him to leave in the morning, no goodbyes... and leave them with a hotline. conversely, if y/m woke up before alan, they could’ve done the exact same thing. ( preferably 24+ )

i can’t believe it’s not butter ! by trade and by hobby, alan is a conman. from slight scams to counterfeit bills to identity fraud, the man’s done it all ! and this includes having scammed/conned your character. although the status of the town -- aka, how small it is -- has made him more wary of anything big and/or traceable, they managed to figure it out. conversely, they did not manage to figure it out and he is still scamming them.

a naive customer ! this goes hand-in-hand with the above. basically, y/m comes into kim’s antiques a lot ! while most people usually see through his little lies about the products, but still buy them because what harm had it really done ? y/m genuinely believes every single thing he says. ( 0/2 )

a dog sitter ! he’s honestly half convinced that the man who sold him rexy saw his scam and scammed him right back -- some counterfeit money for a possum -- but he loves that odd animal. he loves that odd animal to the point that, if he can’t be around for just a day, he will get him some companionship. but he doesn’t trust just anyone with rexy... can you believe he trusts y/m enough ? ( 0/1 )

friends ! the man’s a sleazeball, but he’s gotta have some friends. he is, after all, a sleazeball with a heart of gold ! and once you’re friends with him ? he’s actually a great guy ! a lot of ribbing, sure, but it all comes from a good place !

friends with benefits ! different from high and dry in that the two were already friends. clearly since he hasn’t had any romantic feelings for them before, he won’t develop any now, right ? right ?! ( 0/2 ) ( 25+ )

frenemies/enemies with benefits ! i mean... that kind of speaks for itself. ( 0/2 ) ( 25+ )

frenemies/enemies ! with a personality like his, he’s bound to have caused some rifts along the way. thus, these two find themselves at each other’s throats a fair amount. perhaps they get along sometimes, perhaps it’s just permanent hatred !

others: reluctant confidant ( something something i’m drunk and my brother hates me something something ), neighbors, etc.
