One thing I wish artists would understand: you NEVER need to apologize for inconsistencies. Not in subject or style or line work or character design. Styles change! Perspectives change! Lives change! I think it's beautiful that your art evolves as you do. It's a treat to watch.

Honestly, you're creating magic when you draw. You could tell me you just hold on to a brush or a pencil or a stylus and let The Spirits flow through you and I'd be here for it. I don't know enough to recognize the difference between what you usually draw versus what Spirit happens to be with you that day.

I think it's all incredible. I think you're incredible.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes
