Darcy and Riven – their story and why I ship them

In January 2023 I found my way back into the Winx fandom - more precisely, I created this Tumblr on January 28th, 2023 and since then I have been constantly passionate about this show from my childhood. Most of all, of course, for our three favorite witches. Accordingly, this year I have given a lot of thought and HCs to the Trix and their relationships. Today is the day that I'm going to write down all of these HCs and thoughts I have and tag them properly so that they're easier to find in my jumble of posts, reblogs and crazy fangirling. Well, have fun!

I got my first anon ask about Driven headcanons (hcs most of the time now) in march and therefore tried to order my thoughts on this topic as well. It actually became something of a definition of their relationship and how I see them in the show: This is how my bullet journal looks:

Riven is pretty badass. That's why Rivusa doesn't make much sense because ego-wise he would have gone after best-girl-Bloom. Or Princess Stella, but more Bloom, simply because Brandon (Sky) obviously found Bloom interesting.

Then there is Darcy. Not only is she the complete opposite of the loud, glittering fairy gang, but she also forms a stark contrast to Riven. She is powerful, yes, but above all she is calm, goal-oriented and come on in 1x8 we see how cute she is. Of course, Riven likes her power-talk in 1x9 but he surely is keen on her because she is a totally different type of girl than Musa or Stella.

Oh, and an important thing that just came to my mind while supervising what I wrote and putting it into a post: DARCY DID NOT MIND-CONTROL HIM IN CANON!

Her glowing eyes meant that she formed the connection with Riven, so that he could contact her mentally later on in the show!

It's fkn 4kids who came up with the mind control because they tend to downplay everything for all American kids' sake. - Ok back to the post:

In terms of type, if comparted to the fairies, Darcy is mostly like Flora, but in contrast to the nature fairy, she has a much more self-confident demeanor. She is also the first to respond to Riven as a person and his needs (power, being recognized). Then of course there is the matter of rescue. Firstly: Thanks for saving my life and secondly: The woman can ride this flying motorcycle like a guy. Where can you find something like that? And unlike the Winx, who are constantly in trouble, Darcy (and her sisters) is beyond competent (in Season 1 after all, we know how the writing goes down, *sigh*). So, we have Darcy: a beautiful, competent badass BB who just saved his life and looks like an angel that fell from heaven - all in the specialist uniform too - sexyyy. So, it's an extremely attractive girl who also knows guy things and cares about him and really sees and perceives him as a person. She's not a self-centered good-time girl who makes him clean, so she doesn't have to endure her punishment alone (looking at you, Winx....)

But who exactly is Darcy? (she's my girl, my bb, my queen) Out of the Trix, she is probably the one who is least behind the world domination plans. Of course, she is still a member of the Trix - and of course not less power-hungry than her sisters. But she would be the one most likely to give up everything to live a quiet but fulfilling life with the person she loves. Isn't she? She is definitely the first to panic and to make mistakes as a result. We remember episode 1x5, where she immediately panicked when everything didn't work out as planned. She thought she would find Stella's ring in no time, that wasn't the case. Instead of keeping a cool head like Icy would have, she freaks out and starts attacking Bloom. Is it fear because she is running out of time and doesn't know what to do if her disguise is exposed? In any case, Darcy would have been expected to wear a more confident disguise. But in the end, she's the one most likely to panic and this episode shows that perfectly. Maybe that's also the reason why she has clever ideas, but often doesn't think them through. In episode 2x10 she tries to get Icy to put the feather in the scales, fearing that she might have made a mistake and get wiped just like Stormy, who had previously hit the scales with brute force. Icy states very correctly: You’re a backstabbing coward, Darcy. And I love you for that. And with that she the nail right on the head. Darcy is certainly the first of the Trix to get nervous. She certainly has a tendency to overthink, whereas Riven strikes first and thinks later (at best).

Mind control is her specialty. She knows how to get into the minds of her victims to confuse and weaken them. At the same time, she also knows how uncertain and dangerous feelings can be. When it comes to having deep feelings for someone else, she is more likely to be the one who is insecure and cautious. Precisely because feelings are so uncertain, she probably tries to make decisions with her head rather than with her guts.

Their love story is iconic and cute. Basically, we have good girl and bad boy, but the good girl is one of the bad guys and the bad boy is ultimately one of the good guys. They haven't really fought against each other yet. Riven only knows that Darcy is one of the most powerful witches in Cloud Tower and that she and her sisters hate the Winx. Since Riven is skeptical of the Winx himself and has no deeper connection to them, he has little to do with this antipathy from both sides and perhaps only hears about it in passing from Brandon or Sky. So in 1x7 he doesn't pay much attention to the Trix. The fact that he turns on the light and exposes the Trix is once again Riven being Riven. He wants to be the cool dude and doesn't really care about the situation. He simply has no interest in the Winx's affairs and is only pissed when he becomes personally involved with Musa being thrown into his arms by the minotaur. Maybe that’s where his inner hero speaks? But first and foremost, he wants to praise himself. The first time he really notices Darcy is in 1x8, where she represents to him the complete opposite of the fairies, one of which had just shown him up (Bloom).

Darcy, on the other hand, is already interested in Riven in 1x7 and hides the whole thing behind the talk about the Prince of Darkness (seriously, WHO is the Prince of Darkness? Why is that never clarified?). One episode later, she's extremely worried that something might happen to Riven with Icy's, admittedly delicate, plan. bb obviously already has a crush on him. And no one can claim that Icy doesn't know this and is actively using it for her plan. I think that Darcy's feelings didn't matter to her at all, thinking she'd get over it sooner or later. But the fact is, even Icy sees the spark fly between them.

So you could say it was love at first sight for both of them. It is also important for Riven that after all the disappointments and constant criticism he was exposed to at Red Fountain, someone finally recognizes him and his talents. While the Winx, especially Stella, just complained about him, Darcy supported what he was. Partly because she can take advantage of his ambitions, of course, and partly because she simply likes him. I think there are some things Darcy does simply for herself and not because it's part of the plan to rule the Magic Dimension.

From Riven's point of view, what probably also speaks for Darcy is her maturity. She's not a little fairy to save. The opposite is the case. She is probably more experienced in other things too - but that always depends on the respective HC. Darcy can be a bad bitch and cute bb - both are accurate. For me though, she gives more bb vibes than bitch vibes. However, she appears much more mature and confident than the fairies. Speaking of bb (she's one, look at her!) -

she's the type most likely to develop romantic feelings. Icy is too calculating and Stormy is just there for the passion (if you get what I mean). In 2x2 we have this scene "*sigh* To be young and in love...".

She's also the one of the Trix most likely to feel something resembling remorse, if only for her time with Riven. On the other hand, in season 2 we have Riven, who immediately sees through Darcy's attacks - because he knows them. Very well. There is probably still a connection between the two. There could have been more hints about their relationship besides “cute” and “not cute”. There could have been one or two longing looks. I FELL ROBBED.

That’s basically how I interpret their story and why I ship them. I’ll come up with some headcanons these days as well. Stay tuned :3

Musa: The Thesis

Kay so… this one involves one of the biggest spoilers of s3 due to one of the biggest changes I made there revolves around Musa and I will be discussing it after the First Things First part. So please please please if you haven’t read up until Season 3 Chapter 24: The Space Between Where Our Ends Meet, DO NOT READ PAST THE FIRST THINGS FIRST PORTION OF THIS THESIS

First Things First

The first words I have in Musa’s character sheet are small sassy goth.

One of the main things I focused on with Musa, especially in the first season is her struggle to be vulnerable. Musa has lived the past 5 or so years with a closed off dad and never got a real chance to truly mourn her mom due to her having to learn to pretty much take care of herself, because of this she becomes very defensive and doesn't trust many people, and it causes her to struggle with being vulnerable, making her feel weak to do so. Here we see her open up slowly to the girls and not really talk that much about her home life until s2.

This is also where the main problem in her relationship with Riven comes in, but we’ll talk about that later on.

Musa, along with Aisha was the loneliest Winx before going to Alfea, and this plays into how protective she can be over the girls, she knows what it’s like to have no one so she is more than ready to throw hands for her girls any day of the week.

Love’s a Loaded Gun, Nobody Wants to Fight

A theme we see with Musa is her not believing she’s really worth a lot of time. She worried about staying one place too long and becoming an inconvenience or sharing her hurt and becoming a weight.

We see that it really takes a lot for her to believe that she is not being selfish or ‘too much’ by expressing herself or deciding to stay in one place, namely Tecna’s home.

Musa has a lot of feelings regarding feeling like she’s being shut out.

She’s working on not shutting people out herself but when others do it to her, she could just have a breakdown since she is so sick and tired of her dad doing it to her and that’s just about the worst thing you could do to her.

She’s a tiny bit afraid of love. Not so much of love itself as just, the thought of losing someone she loves again.

Haunted

So… this is the part with the huge S3 spoiler so PLEASE TURN BACK NOW, THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST IMPACTFUL MOMENTS OF S3 MY INBOX WAS FLOODED FOR A WEEK IF YOU HAVEN’T READ IT YET TURN BACK NOW

So, in s3 chapter 24 Musa gains her Enchantix… and kills Stormy in the process.

First off the second I decided to do s3 I knew I was gonna change how Musa got her Enchantix cause I think we can all agree she got the short end of the stick in the OG.

I also already had in mind killing off either Stormy or Darcy but Stormy just fit more.

I combined these two ideas by changing Musa’s Enchantix to be gained by taking down a building over herself and Stormy due to Stormy loosing control of a curse.

Now, this could’ve gone very differently so why did I chose Musa to be the one to kill Stormy?

Honestly? I felt like it would impact her the most.

Now, obvs any of the girls would’ve been hugely impacted by taking a life (see Tecna) but taking the life of one of the Trix who they’ve known and fought for so long is another level of personal.

And, just like Bloom, Musa can be a very angry person and she hated the Trix’s guts and maybe a tiny part of her would’ve been glad with them dead, but actually having a hand in it…

It creates very conflicting emotions and a mountain of trauma and feelings of inhumanity and just confusion for our girl which we will get to see a lot more of in s4.

Thoughts Behind her Main Relationships

Tecna

I love Tecna and Musa, they are very much a friendship between unconventional girls who don’t always come across as they mean to.

They both struggle to make friends for different reasons but the second they meet they realize that they are quite similar and so never push each other outside of their comfort zone at first and that’s what allows them to become close enough to then push one another.

Musa gets what makes Tecna tick and makes sure that she’s comfortable, she makes sure she gets her alone time and makes sure she doesn’t get overwhelmed.

Tecna gets that Musa doesn’t want to talk about herself so instead gets her to open up about her music.

And it’s through this that they start to trust one another and by s2 we see them knowing each other well enough to keep the other from spiraling.

When Tecna’s confused about her feelings for Timmy, it’s Musa who reminds her that it’s okay to not be ready for a relationship. And when Musa and Riven first kiss, it’s Tecna who suggests they take it slow since she knows how skittish they can both be.

At this point, they push one another when they need to.

They are crucial to each other’s growth.

Riven

I always loved the idea of Rivusa but hated the original execution.

I really like the idea of two kids who have been so hurt by the people that were meant to protect them figuring out how to love each other. How to be open and trusting and just how to work as a couple.

Riven and Musa fall very slowly over the course of a year and a half, they get to know each other, be friends, quite crucially: they’re able to be vulnerable with each other. Which is huge for both of them.

And, when they realize that these feelings are serious and more than just a crush, they are both terrified.

I’ll talk a bit more about Riven’s feelings on his thesis but for Musa, she’s scared of this failing, of flying till the bone crush like the queen would say. She’s scared of it going wrong and losing someone she loves so much.

The part I love about this is that this means that even after they get together we get to see them fuck up. Because just because they’re together doesn’t mean they’re just going to forget years of trauma and having their walls up.

And, in my version, once they’re together, it’s Musa who fucks up by keeping secrets and not being able to bring herself to be vulnerable.

I think my fave part about writing these two is writing about how they grow together both as individuals and as a couple, how they learn to communicate and be vulnerable and realize that they are both here to stay and that this relationship is soft and safe and everything that they have been denied for so long.

That’s what this couple is to me. Two kids learning to love and not be afraid of it.

Helia

Helia and Musa are the writers of the group, due to them both being artist and having had past or present issues with their fathers and being vulnerable, it made sense for them to be platonic soulmates.

They’re the kind of people to spill their guts out of paper and just take a pen and truly speak, word vomit comes out in prose and metaphors and long words that just make you feel serene.

That’s how they find it easier to communicate.

They bond over words and music and the crushing weight of a knot in your throat not letting you speak when it matters most. The falling feeling of everything coming out wrong when spoken but in a beautiful way when written.

Helia is the only person Musa co-writes with for her songs, because he gets her voice as a songwriter in a way that no one else does.

And Helia shared his favorite poems because he knows she’ll get them in the way few could.

They are the artists who write not just because they enjoy and love it, but because it’s a crucial part of who they are, of how they process things and how to keep going.

Who is Musa in this Rewrite?

Musa is a girl who’s hurt. Who has lost and has had to almost raise herself.

She’s done the best that she could but the best she could do to protect herself at the time, back home with her father was to build walls around herself.

She’s someone who is learning to be open and vulnerable and to believe the people she loves won’t leave.

She’s someone trying to leave behind a toxic environment and mindset.

Someone who is, in one word haunted. By her past, by both her parents be it in different ways, by words, by Stormy.

But she’s learning to live with it, to still grow and to not take steps back in her journey.

She’s an artist finding her meaning and voice.

Hey I wanted know about your version of the ancestral and to know the timeline of when they destroyed domino

Hi, @seth-the-whalelord, i am sorry because oh gosh i have a LOT to say and you prompting this means im not gonna be able to think of anything else ahhhh. OK so like. lets ignore how in general the timeline is really fucked up (flashbacks with the company of light and Griffin and Faragonda's relative ages are very confusing) but lets just ASSUME, path of least confusion that Domino got iced exactly as many years ago as is appropriate based on Bloom's age (I actually haven't decided if i's scaling the girls ages up slightly yet.) So basically it got destroyed when Bloom (and all her other peers in her age range here) were babies. That’s a BIG event to happen in relatively RECENT HISTORY and I have issues about how I want to make it clear that this is an event that has affected basically every world in the magical universe. BUT LETS PUT THAT ASIDE LETS TALK ABOUT THE WITCHES.

So my issue is the Ancestral Witches are meant to be these, hugely ancient beings formed at the beginning of the universe. But, they never… felt…. That cool to me? They’ve existed for all of time but it took them literally until what 15-18 years ago to get at the Dragon Flame? Despite the fact that it seems like pretty common knowledge where it is?? And the fact that they later named them and then the backstory with Griffin working with them and Valtor… that was before they got banished so to me it seems like they shouldn’t need the proxy of someone working on their behalf, like they do when they’re guiding the Trix… That feels to me like big powerful witches and villainesses and definitely big bad material but not like the unspeakable ancient things that I imagine when you say OLD AS TIME ELEMENTAL EVIL, you know?

Another thing: Arcadia. We have a direct counterpoint to “the first witches” in “the first Fairy who flew”. I actually like how vague her existence is and how strange and uncanny she looks. She almost comes across as a minor goddess, or someone who has basically ascended to demigod hood. I think one of the reasons I like her vibe over the ancestral witches is… she seems so… separate from reality and above what’s going on in the mortal planes. She waits for the Winx to come to her, instead of meddling/ the AW are pretty much exclusively into getting the trix to meddle for them. Or building a boy (Valtor) to do stuff for them. Idk. That said im actually not how im handling Arcadia or the existence of the water stars at all im just thinking ab the contrast of how they’re presented. Basically even when they’re spooky shadowy crone figures the witches strike me as beings of the material rather than an old-as-time type set of entities.

Anyway making the first witches these ‘’’’first creatures of evil’’’’ really fucks with the limp ‘well, not ALL witches are evil’ assertion that the show tries to make (but also doesn’t remember half the time). Like, that can definitely be the NARRATIVE that gets pushed, and I do think that the Ancestral witches themselves should be properly evil big bads, but you can’t build the worlds universe on ‘witches were invented to be evil, and fairies are meant to good’ and then benignly go ‘oh not realllyyyyy. I mean MOSTLY but not really. You know. Not the 2 witches we like (one of whom becomes a fairy)’. That can be the story a lot of people believe, but you cannot build it into the literal history of your world setting and then turn around and ask the audience to think otherwise.

I think what makes most sense to me is that Belladonna, Liliss, and Tharma are the names of the last INCARNATIONS of the Ancestral Witches but not the original/actual identities.

I think they were just witches once. Not quite from the beginning of time but from a long, long, long time ago. They had names no one remembers anymore, and names before that. They were witches who garnered such power that they wrote their identities into the flow of magic itself, who unmoored their spirits from their selves so that when they died they did not truly die. Basically, they’re Liches. I like the idea of the Witches recurring in history, reappearing as different women across the eons as their spirits find new lives to subsume. It’s not a bloodline (even though the trix call themselves the AW’s ‘direct descendants’ - unless Belladonna, Liliss and Tharma all fucked and had children, and each of the girls could directly trace their ancestry back to them… first of all why, how, wouldn’t families keep that an awful secret because presumably being related to the people who tried to kill dragon god and nuked the fairy Vatican would make their lives DIFFICULT - despite that language I always assumed they were kind of styling themselves as spiritual successors (which.. might be the literal opposite of ’direct descendant’ but what can I say that’s the vibe I always got) I think, in my version of things, they’re… sort of like their successors. ( I have them style themselves as Inheritrix - Hence, Trix) but well, really the Trix are really more like… Vessels. Or, they will be, when they’re strong enough.

One of the big reasons Witches are looked down on is that there’s this pervasive cultural sentiment that they’re greedy and power-hungry. They Want what they don’t Have, they will Take what Is Not Theirs. This has a little bit to do with the way I conceive of the concept of positive or negative magic - not dark and light but more like electric charges or polarity. Fairies (+) generate magic, and Witches (-) absorb magic from outside sources. I think there’s actually a very important place for Witches in the magic ecosystem, and both fairies and witches have a part to play in keeping balance. The ancestral witches represent the worst extreme of witch dysfunction. They take so much that they cling onto life, stealing the lives of other witches through generations. They refuse to be swept away through the river of time, to return to the flow of Magic, to take their part in the cycle.

If you were to rewrite Winx, how would you write it?

Oh this is gonna be long.

Ok let's start from the premise that I actually like winx the way it is for a big chunk. Yes up to freaking s8. Although s7 deserves hell and nothing more.

So with that in mind:

Season 1-2

I would actually insert foreshadowing to the trix's backstory since the beginning. Some moment of banter between Darcy and Stormy and Icy not having the context for it to make it clear right off the bat that no, they have not known each other their whole lives.

I'd flesh out the magic system more, in a way that it is clear that yes, Alfea and Cloudtower have historical rivalry but mostly because it is convenient for both schools (beefing with the other school's students offers more opportunities to gain charmix/gloomix, plus there's the institutional events like the Magic Tournament where the winning school gets funding -I've been telling y'all the comics have good stuff-).

Season 3

Also Tecna is a princess but not in the way Stella or Aisha are because Zenith is an elective monarchy so she's only princess until the next elections.

Stella learns to live with the fact her parents are divorced and with the fact that Luna has a new boyfriend and she doesn't hate him. As per comic canon.

The only thing I'd change would be whatever is up with the timeline. It needs more clarity regarding when Domino fell, how old are Valtor, the Company of Light and the Ancestral Witches, and their connection with Darkar. The fact people seem to not know much about what happened with Domino is perfectly fine and realistic though (if you think otherwise, tell me what you were taught in history class about stuff that happened the decade you were born. Yeah, not much, right?).

Also that finale needs to be more climatic or have an explaination for Valtor's sudden weakness cough cough read my fanfic cough cough.

Still, I would add some comic plotlines like Musa helping an old musician elaborate the loss of his wife by allowing him to meet her ghost (with Daphne's help), giving closure to her own grief as well (extra points if it happens after the Water Stars trial because she would know it's what he needs because hearing her mom say she was proud of her did so much for her). You know, stuff that gives space to the neglected girls.

The whole royal family of underwater Andros is present, but it is a queendom. The king consort and the princes were away on some diplomatic trip when Valtor attacked, but they are shown in later episodes (Tecna enchantix episode).

Season 4

Sotlk and Magical Adventure go back to back after season 3. Nobody is whitewashed. That isn’t about writing but idc.

Oh boy...

1) Less relationship drama. Nobody needed that. Nobody liked that. Kill it with fire. Yes to questioning the status quo though. Rivusa break up? Maybe. Sky and Bloom learning to confide in each other instead of not communicating and causing arguments as a consequence? PLEASE.

2) No winx teachers. Unpopular opinion, but the ladies should have some other excuse to be in Alfea to start the action. Some higher level course, an apprenticeship of sorts, anyting but teaching. I don't want 18 year olds who were barely ever in class the previous year to teach.

3) Clarity about the Roxy being Morgana's daughter situation. Morgana has time travel powers and ran to the future, had Roxy, then went back to the past and got captured. Also clarity about why there's no witches or wizards on Earth either.

4) There would be episodes where the girls have some business to attend to in Magix with, again, some comic plots. This could work splitting the episode between the Earth plot and the Magix subplot. Examples include but aren't limited to: the Shaab stone comics (yes moved from s2 to s4 because s2 is already packed), the Andros pirates+alien lizard problem comics, the Zenith's inhabited satellite is about to be hit by a comet comic, the Stella gets kidnapped by shadow creatures from another universe comic.

5) Nabu sacrifices himself and it is clearer that he's in a coma and not dead.

Season 5

6) Ah, Bloom didn't forget her aura reading powers that are super useful to search for a magical person among thousands of non-magical people, she just really hates using them because they're a privacy breach and she only does it in dangerous situations or when they have a strong lead.

1) The trix are in Andros, and it is stated they have been there since the Havram/movie 2 events. They are clearly traumatized by the possession and nobody gave them a therapist. This time Roccaluce would've been the right place for them but alas...

2) Icy's trauma manifests in latching onto this idiot prince in the cell next to theirs because he reminds her of Valtor. They meet the same way, he does a similar monster thing, but he doesn't slam her against a wall when she breathes wrong, which is nice.

3) Roxy goes to Alfea! Yay! But Roxy feels so out of place because the winx are miles ahead of her in magic and life in general alike, while Roxy is a newbie to that world and has very confused ideas about her future. Cue to an extensive arc about Roxy learning that it is ok to do things at her own pace and that she can have more than one friend group (the winx and her classmates) because she has things in common with different groups of people.

4) Harmonix doesn't exist because the girls can swim and use magic underwater in base form/charmix AND enchantix, as per canon.

5) The sirenix curse, that hot mess. Ok so Daphne is dead dead. She did not have sirenix. Politea did. Cue to more lore about the fall of Domino and how part of the plan to prevent it failed badly with Politea getting cursed and disappearing.

6) The season is centered about the struggles of Aisha and Roxy. Bloom, Stella and Tecna are also closely involved with the plot due to their role as princesses, but have struggles that don't compete with having half your family turned into a monster army while your boyfriend is in a coma or adapting to a whole new world. For example, Bloom proves herself politically competent to both her and Sky's parents, Tecna talks her planet out of isolationism, Stella helps both.

7) The Sirenix wishes change. Less manipulating people into changing their behavior and more actual action. Obviously Nabu is healed with a wish (maybe not Aisha's? Maybe by the wish of one of her friends because they want their friend to be well again? Just saying. Everybody cried for Nabu, Aisha is not the only one who would care about him!). I have no ideas for the others but it's the kind of thing that only comes up if I sit down and write the whole thing for me and I sure as hell won't do that.

8) Tritannus gets high on Throne power and tries to kill Icy as per canon, but the Trix don't flee. They are captured and after the battle the winx see how absolutely shattered Icy is and decide to hold out a hand to them (some of them are reluctant cuz it bit them in the ass with the Black Circle). Yes same as my fanfic but one season earlier: the winx talk Roccaluce into giving the trix a proper trial.

Season 6

1) Picking up from the trial, there's a few episodes focused on that as well as some arguments between the winx because as I said they weren't all 100% on board with that. Everyone is shocked when Icy says whatever the official lie about her origins was and the magic lie detector goes ham. Icy gives in and says she's a survivor of Dyamond. Cue to the mystery of this second Domino that the Magic Dimension doesn't talk about cuz it's even more embarrassing than what happened in Domino after all planets went on with slogans like "never again will we see something like on Domino now that the Ancestral Witches and Valtor are vanquished".

I put too much thought and time into this for something I'll never do so have a quick list of things this season would deal with:

- If you know me you know I am a sucker for redemption arcs and the trix will have one in this universe too.

- This season's theme would be change and adapting to change. Most obvious with the winx and the trix having to interact with each other in a new way, but also for Earth, where magic is spreading (again, comic plots of people discovering their powers and messing up big time in more than one way)

- Selina would be the main villain, but she'd be from either Linphea or Melody for the sake of linearity. Not sure what her goals may be but there could be a situation where she tries to recruit people from Earth who developed powers, thus crossing the winx's path

- There'd be more of the adulting we were supposed to get after season 4, with the winx taking steps towards what they want their life to be. Musa would focus on her musical career, Flora would decide she wants to focus on her role of guardian fairy, Tecna would have a series of technomagic projects rejected by companies and she'd decide to start her own company (with Timmy), Bloom would take on a more active role as a princess and help with Domino's reconstruction, Stella would officially start her fashion line and use her platform to bring attention to the problems she's entangled in (e.g. oh this awesome linen that can only be imported from  Earth? Such a pity that Roccaluce won't recognize Earth as part of the Magic Dimension thus actively making commerce impossible), Aisha would focus on her role as guardian fairy as well as just enjoying her second chance with Nabu (she deserves it ok?)

- Roxy gets enchantix at some point

I wanna put way more focus on the dragon and I actually wanted it to physically be the way the magic dimension is built up

I also am changing up the relationships when it comes to the main group I don’t want it to be season 1 and 2 and boom everyone has a boyfriend.. i want it to be more spread out and explore more ideas for some of them

I’m planning on keeping the main aspects of each season intact like the villains and main premise until like season 6 because i want some more characters to have their individual moments

I also didn’t kill off nabu i killed off riven but he’s not a walking red flag in my rewrite so it’s probably still gonna hurt

In my rewrite musa goes by muse because i wanted to break up the all names end with a thing going on and i also have muse go mostly by he/ they pronouns

I’m keeping chimera because honestly we need more found family and i just don’t want the illusion of stella’s parents getting back together to be a thing i can make them goth and trendy siblings it will be fun.

I also wanna work in more lore on where the boys are from and where the trix are from.

I have been putting a lot of effort into reworking zenith and melody at the moment really working out how i wanna build their culture so that can reflect in how characters look and react

And im writing in the existence of fairy animals from the start with it so i can expand the ecosystems of the magic dimension!

Daphne and valtor will have a history but they are very different from their original counterparts in my rewrite

I’m keeping diaspro and I actually made her a specialist and not a fairy cuz no more boys can’t be fairies and girls can’t be paladins I’M GIVING HER A SWORD!

The trix are gonna get more casual outfits because we were robbed

I gave tecna a hearing aid and tecna also can’t fly I’m limiting her to gliding as a reference to her paraglider wings in season 1 and also just cuz i feel it’s more interesting to have diversity in battle styles.

Furthermore i changed artu into a shiba because they are known for their strong personalities and i get wanting to give the dog eye brows for expression but why didn’t they just pick a breed that had more natural looking brow like markings 😭😭

Roxy WILL be getting every transformation because i like to draw and i love roxy she deserves more!

And although i love tecna and timmy they are the only official mc pairing that isn’t canon in my rewrite and idk if it will be due to my zenith rework. THEY DO INTERACT I JUST WANNA TRY OTHER THINGS WITH TECNA!

Season 9 leaks!

The story is that somebody hacked Rainbow and grabbed all the good stuff! Could they really have done that? Just remember this is the Winx fandom where faking leaks is a national pastime so these pictures could be real, fake, or a mixture of the two. I don’t vet anything because… uh, how could I? I’m just a random person on the internet. And also, real leaks and fake leaks are equally fun to speculate about and having fun speculating is what we’re here for!

Ok I kinda love this? Aisha’s hair! Stella’s sun-ray wings! Tecna’s circuitry wings! Tecna still being ball jointed! Flora’s kinda weird flower top! The only odd point is that Bloom’s costume is just basically Sirenix slightly modified. Why Sirenix?

This would be the third version of the costumes that we’ve seen for season 9, and if it’s real they drifted away from the simple redesigns of the original magic winx form into something more detailed and cooler. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was real; the previous images we had just looked too simple after so many years of increasingly complicated outfits. This looks real but as you can see on top it's from Winxclubrus, a site that has the same attitude as I do when it comes to sharing All The Leaks.

Here we have some CG turnarounds that look like CG turnarounds. Stella’s outfit is cute, Icy’s had an upgrade and lost the capital I on her clothes and the Trix have a symbol now. It looks like a capital T with some lines underneath, it reminds me of the “chi rho” a Christian symbol that was used in ancient Rome that looks like a capital P with an x across the bottom.

And here are two new characters and these pictures are more questionable. Fan consensus seems to be that the girl is from another series and was accidentally in the Winx Club folder that the supposed hacker supposedly hacked. The boy is in a different style than the girls and there’s not much on his character sheet so I think he’s either someone’s fan character or maybe… you know how Orion was copied off a video game character? This image of the guy may be a character from something else that Rainbow is planning to base a character design on.

But! There was a very low resolution image of the Winx and Trix battling and it looked like there was a boy fighting on the evil side. It could have been Riven, it could have been one of the Wizards of the Black Circle, since one of them appeared in a different season 9 image… or it could be this guy. Damien is an evil name thanks to the Omen movies so that tracks.

So who knows! We’ll just have to wait and see if either of these characters is real.

And last we have a video! This, I think is real. It’d be easy enough for a fan to make some turnarounds in blender but this video would be a lot of work.

And it looks good. My brain immediately said “it looks good” but my brain also said, ‘It looks like everything else.” and I’m not even sure what “everything else” my brain is thinking about. Unicorn Academy? Miraculous? It looks like things! But it shows a lot of emotion, which the season 8 was bad at so we are improving already!

oh absolutely, fandom is built on the life blood of comments and i've made some of my dearest friends fangirling over each other's fic. Plus, i've never been particularly overwhelmed by comments so it's never been a particular hardship.

none of my WIPs are abandoned. I don't know if I'll ever finish Steal Away Home the way i want to, though.

Dialogue and characterization, I think. Structurally, I have an excellent grasp of nuance when it comes to word choice in a way that lets me say a lot with not much.

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

I'm not particularly focused and it can take a long time for me to finish work. And I tend to write without outline and that can lead to a wandering, meander of a fic.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Do it all the time, do my best to make it accurate. I use a smattering of Scots Gaelic for my version of Starkhaven and my source is mostly old books because i like the archaic texture of it. Several of my characters have american south accents and i elide words and use slang and drop g's. '"I am going to the store, mother," she said in her Texas twang' does not read like "Goin' t'the store, ma." and you can't make me believe you don't lose vast amounts of characterization by trying to force it to work. And overly correct dialogue is one of the first reasons i'll drop out of reading fic.

Cupid's Little Bag of Trix is a (now fairly heavily edited) mess of stream of consciousness that grew a plot from when i was writing quick switch omniscient pov and just expected my readers to figure it out. But i love it. And it remains the biggest boost to my writing ego as ten years after posting, i still get kudos Verge (post Omega DLC) is when i really figured out who Aedan and Kaidan are, together and it manages to wreck me all over again, every time i re-read it.

Winx Club - Draconix

I have now finally got around to doing the girls Draconix forms (Formally and idiotically named Bloomix) and this time, the girls will have actually gained the form from actions that are actually brave and noble instead of bull crap like backflips. The girls lost their powers (Bloom included) thanks to the combined powers of The Trix and the Ancestral Witches using the Whisperian Crystals. The Ancestral Witches in my version have been the masterminds behind all the actions of the series, so that The Trix could get steal parts of The Dragon Flame (Which they originally tried to do with Bloom but managed to get when Valtor was destroyed because he was made from The Dragon Flame), The Shadow Phoenix, and The Leviathan in order to release them from their prison in The Obsidian Circle. However, because Bloom's power is born of the inextinguishable Dragon Flame, but Bloom still lost her ability to transform and her magic is weak (Like when she tried to fight the Trix in episode 2). But with that small spark of magic Bloom had, she heard the voice of The Dragon Flame telling her to share the power with her friends and they would unlock a new and ultimate form.

The girls will be having color swaps from their normal colors that I gave them because of how they are going far beyond their normal powers. Also, they will be given necklaces that have their Enchantix fairy dust bottles (Though some will be recolored to fit their new looks). Lastly, the girls earn their Draconix forms in the reverse order they did for Enchantix, meaning Bloom earns hers first and Aisha earns hers last. I did this not only as a way to honor Enchantix, but also because of how Bloom should've earned it first due to her power actually being rooted in The Dragon Flame. Aisha is last because of how her powers are rooted in water and it's harder to connect with the flame.

Bloom

For Bloom, her form received very little changes from her original form in the show. I added a heart onto her armor, a red gem stone onto the center of her waist, made her blue deeper to be more similar to the blue you'd actually see in a flame, made her hair a darker red, gave her different makeup, and she has her Bloomix prototype wings. Bloom's look in this is the main reason I wanted to have the girls do a color swap. The red color she has for her hair in this form would clash with the color red. This is a case where I don't mind her main color being blue because it is a deeper and slightly purple-ish blue and her hair is just so GORGEOUS.

Bloom earned hers when she traveled to the frozen dead planet of Domino, her birth planet, to try and see if maybe some of The Dragon Flame was still lingering on the planet. When she finds it, she is told she can't restore her or her friends powers with it but that it would allow her to bring back her birth parents and the population of Domino back from the dead, as well as the planet itself and even Daphne. Unfortunately, this would also allow The Ancestral Witches to steal more of the power and be unstoppable. So Bloom not only gives up the change to meet her birth parents, restore her planet, and bring her sister back to life, but also uses that spark she found to blow up Domino. That would keep The Trix and The Ancestral Witches from getting any more of The Dragon Flame's power. This was an emotional and traumatic thing for Bloom to do. Truly brave and noble, which earns her Draconix.

Tecna

Tecna's changed quite a bit. Outfit design-wise, she's still the same but it's purple with green accents instead of blue. I gave her a new hairstyle because of how I used her official Bloomix hair for her Sirenix form. I wanted her hair to be short but still fabulous, not to mention I gave her hair the coloring of her Cosmix form, sparkly highlights included. Not to mention, I used her prototype Bloomix wings, which go better with the outfit. Her individual dragon was a pain in the ass to do but I'm pretty proud of how I managed to make a technology themed dragon.

The way Tecna earns her Draconix is that Selina released a virus from The Legendarium to attack Zenith, the heart of all tech in the magical universe. This virus is so dangerous that it wouldn't only destroy the tech on Zenith but all the tech in the magical universe. In order to stop it, someone would have to go into the digital universe to stop it. The problem is that it feeds off technology and therefore no one on Zenith can fight it off and only people from Zenith have the intellect to navigate through the digital universe. Therefore, it's up to Tecna to go into the digital world and defeat the virus using her physical skills and intelligence. The danger is great because she is still more likely to die without her powers. She nearly loses her life but at the last minute, defeats the virus, which leads to her getting her Draconix.

Flora

Flora's look, apart from her hair and wings, has remained the same because of it's mostly green with pink accents, so it's different from her standard pink. I gave her, her Dreamix wings because I feel they actually go with the look better, and the fact that I've already used her Bloomix wings for her Enchantix and her Bloomix prototype wings for Helia's Believix. As for her hair, since I gave her, her Bloomix hairstyle for her Believix (Since I wasn't intending on doing Bloomix). I used the hairstyle of Sibylla, which goes against Flora's standard hairstyle where her bangs never change. I absolutely ADORE how she turned out. Along with her pink plant-themed dragon.

As for how she earns her Draconix, her planet, Linphea is under a curse than causes destructive weather and is making the plants die. This causes the population of Flora's planet to become deathly ill. With her powers gone, Flora's not effected and is now the only hope for her planet because of her knowledge of plants and her potion-making. Under MASSIVE stress, she has to create a potion to break the curse before Linphea is completely destroyed and everyone from Linphea dies, including her sister, Miele and her mothers (Yeah, Flora and Miele were raised by lesbians). Her anxiety is very high and she has a breakdown from her frustration. With the support of Helia, she pulls herself together, creates the potion, and breaks the curse. Life is returned to Linphea just in time and the population is saved from their near death. This causes Flora to earn her Draconix.

Musa

Musa's look was given a major recoloring with it being red with gold accents instead of purple, so there you go Musa in red stans. I did that not just because of her original color being red, but also because red and gold, from my understanding, are important colors in China and Musa is East Asian coded (Specifically Chinese). I also added chopsticks and gave her, her prototype Bloomix wings. Not to mention different make-up. I also love how I made her dragon out of music notes and sheet music.

Musa earns hers in a kind of dark way. She learns about a mystical object that can bring back the dead, which means she could bring back her mother, something she wants more than anything. Unfortunately, it comes at the cost of sacrificing the life of the person she hates most (Darcy). She came close to doing it until Aisha and Nabu came to stop her. She was still planning to do it decided not to because she knows her mother couldn't want to live with the fact that she was alive because someone else had to die. Instead, Musa smashes the object so that no one could use such an unethical magical object, breaking down into tears before earning her Draconix, after which, Aisha an Nabu give her all the hugs.

Stella

Stella's look changed quite a bit with the different coloring and her hairstyle. I absolutely HATE her stupid side ponytail hairstyle, especially that little one. Her original hairstyle looked ridiculous and I absolutely despised it. I went with a new hairstyle that is more elegant and made her look like a goddess. I even decided to have her hair be platinum blonde in this form as a way of her embracing her lunar side some more. I also went with a new color combination with her main color being a deep purple to represent the space, the orange and gold to represent the sun, and blue and silver to represent the moon. It helps show her equal sides solar and lunar. I also used her Bloomix prototype wings, which are so gorgeous. I really love how she turned out, not to mention using a two-headed dragon to show off her solar and lunar powers. People forget she has lunar powers and not just solar powers, so I wanted to make that very clear here.

As for how Stella earns her Draconix, her planet is being blocked by a red blood moon eclipse, which makes everyone on her planet powerless, both solar and lunar fairies. If it's not undone, her people will die. Stella won't, due to the fact that she lost her powers. The only one who can help is Chimera. Stella refuses at first, due to everything Chimera put her through. Stella has to let go of her grudge against her archnemesis for the sake of her people. They end up having a heart-to-heart where Chimera shares her insecurities about not feeling good enough and how her father abandoned her and the two make amends. With the two of them, they managed to save Solaria and not only does Stella get her Draconix, Chimera earns her Enchantix. Chimera is then given a royal pardon for her past crimes and is now considered a hero.

Aisha

Aisha's design went through quite a few changes, particularly with her hair. I loved the hairstyle she had for Bloomix (Though I hated the coloring they gave her) but I wanted to do something else. I wanted to give her some braids while also keeping the poofy look of her official hair. This suggestion was actually made by my girlfriend, @keeloves. I really ADORE how it turned out. As for her coloring, I went with pink because of her morphix powers and blue accents for her water powers. She, of course, has her Bloomix prototype wings. Her look is my personal favorite of the Draconix looks.

Out of all the girls, she was the hardest to figure out how to earn her Draconix. But thanks to @tiredcloudd and iloveffoxy2021, who I know from the private Union of War Discord server, I managed to figure it out.

Selina has released a creature from The Legendarium, a sea serpent that in ancient lore terrorized Andros and many other oceans many eons ago. It was known as The Blood Serpent because of all the genocide it had caused. Originally, it was stopped by King Neptune's sword. The Blood Serpent went on a rampage on Andros and had devoured several of the Andros royal guards, as well as several of the merpeople royal guards. Aisha can't stand to see her world in such a horrible state, giving her PTSD to when Valtor attacked it. Her childhood friend, Anne, comforts her, but it does very little to ease her worry. Her father tries to use Neptune's Sword (Which was gifted to the Andros royal family) but the sword won't allow it. The sword itself is an entity of sorts and chooses who may wield it. Aisha then tries to grab it and it allows her to use it. She runs off to battle The Blood Serpent, along with the help of her friend, Anne (Who is a Specialist).

The two battle the serpent (Which Selina is able to psychically connect with because of how she's the witch of reptiles and myths) and are struggling even with the sword. Anytime they got close enough to the serpent to use the sword on it, it would just dive under the water. Aisha knew that because the sword chose her that none of the merpeople would've been able to to wield its power, so she knew she had to dive underwater to fight the creature. Unfortunately, because she didn't have her powers, it meant she could no longer breathe under water or swim as fast as she normally could, which put her in more danger. She managed to do battle with the serpent but was running out of breath. With her last breath, she destroyed the serpent before passing out. Anne tried to dive under to save Aisha (Because the merpeople were all very exhausted and weak from battle) but she couldn't find her. Anne returned to the surface, heartbroken. However, Aisha had earned her Draconix because of her brave actions and noble selflessness, which brought back her ability to breathe underwater. She emerged from the ocean in an EPIC way. She's praised and hugs Anne, who was so happy Aisha was alright that she cried.

....and I am not okay with it!

These are my full notes & thoughts.... aka one big rant👀

Okay so a quick reminder that I watched the German dub of season 4 so if I mention voice actors it's always the German ones. Oh, and I don't consider anything post movie #1 canon. Okay that's it, thank you. Now let's start the rant.

Episode 1:

the opening cringed right in 🙄

all of a sudden Faragonda comes to mind, that there is another stage of transformation - all of a sudden

the Trix picture in the Hall of Enchantments saved my day

Of course, Bloom has to touch everything again (the curtain in front of the wizards' picture was there on purpose, bloom!)

yeh this season is so cringe, okay? i watched 26 episodes and i feel like nothing really happened? the plot was so lame and slow. i mean, look what happens in s1-s3 in all the episodes. there was so much more going on. it was just relationship drama and unncecessary i gotta say. if they have to write rivusa so toxic then why don't they simply break them up and give them a harmonic ending? maybe being friends is better for them? also no fan of musa becoming a girly bitch with long hair. give me back my tomboy. i have to say too: a season without the trix is no real season even though the wizards are cool. also faragona is so useless let's don't talk about that. and the winx were teachers for ONE episode and after that they are like: meh no we live now our ugly love and pet life in gardenia. the pets, the PETS. i HATE them. they are so ugly. I mean the pixies had a plot they had to fulfill. they had a SENSE in the winx universe. the pets are just ...ugh. not cute. Then Roxy: my opinion on her: she's a bit over dramatic but fine i guess? still wonder why her wings are so big if she is no believix fairy. nebula, diana and aurora were really cool but come on, we did not really need this season. then the criticism that everyone has: wtf with the second movie. where does it take place? why is nabu alive? why do they have their beliviex? it's just that this season was rushed and the plot was meh. and i know it gets worse so let's face it. winx ended after the first movie and this is an ass ugly boring and lame written ff au.

A young man with green hair and a black suit was wandering the alleys of Sparta City. He looked deep into an alley and saw two children. Curious he called out to them

"You both can come out now. I wouldn't hurt you. I even have food." He holds out a box of donuts.

Two children come out,one boy with dark skin and red hair and one girl with black hair and purple strikes. They both look about 7. They were also ragged and hungry,as both of them didn't have anything to eat in a while. The boy especially looked eager for the sweets.The girl, on the other hand,looked suspicious at the offer.

"Why are you giving us food?" The girl asked with doubt.

The man said calmly "Because you look hungry of course. Besides I ordered too many donuts."

They both take the box and run. The man shouts"Where are you going?"

The children stop in shock. The boy starts to ask"You actually care?"

The man answers with a smile"Of course". The boy walks to him"Thank you Sir" . The man smiles"

"So what happened to you 2 kids to be out here? Where are your parents"He asked them neutrally.

Tears streamed down the girl's face and the boy was holding back his. The man continued to pry"Come on, you can tell me".

"They're dead !!killed by bad people.. " the boy said with tears in his eyes.

The man looked sympathetic" Who are the bad people,?"

The boy looked unsure if he should talk . The girl, realizing the unease in her friend,looked around to see if anyone was listening. When she was sure ,she spoke" Fiona Veron sir ,she killed my parents and is planning on finding me and stealing my body."

The man nods "and the boy?" He asked with intrigue. The boy kept quiet and looked scared. Come on, little one.

"You can tell me, I'll keep you safe"the man said softly.

"It was the Trix"the boy whispered. "What was that little one" the man asked. After all, I wouldn't be able to here you if you don't speak up."he said staring into the boy's eyes."It. Was.The.TRIX!! They did it,and killed my whole apartment too!!! All for some dumb flute!!!! " The boy shouted ,tears now rolling down his cheeks.

The man decided to comfort the children"there , there, it's okay". The man then said "Do you know why it happened?"

The children kept quiet,not knowing what to say.

"It's because those people are monsters,in human skin,they are all you know? They act as if they are kind but in reality,they are all evil. The fact they can live on earth is a crime in it off it's self"

The children nodded" I could give you a place, you both can thrive but you will have to serve me loyalty" said the man.

The boy then said" We can do it!!! Please!!! Just give us a home".

"Good,know what your names are?" The man asked in a calm demeanor. "Nistro!" Said the boy. " Dextra! Sir!! Said the girl. The man smiled

"Nice to meet you, I'm Mr Heartland,you will call me sir " the kids nodded ,happy to have a home. Mr Heartland then said"Follow me I'll get you out of this awful place". The children smiled and did what they were told.

"Now don't worry little ones. You'll be safe. As long as you obey every word I say,of course".

Winx Club Rewatch Season 1 episode 1 : An unexpected event

Thought I wanted to rewatch my all time favorite show, so why not document it^^

In honor of it being winx 19th birthday, how would you rank the seasons?

oooooooooooohhhhhhh that’s a hard one…. I’ll rank up to 6 cause I stopped watching after that

1st- This was honestly going to be a tie between 2 and 3 but in the end 3 won out. It has a more interesting plot and introduces our lovely Enchantix but it’s also a little too Bloom focused and the ending… I never was the biggest fan of the ending if I’m being 100% honest, like… a 5 minute battle after ALL of that? But it did also have some of the best moments and my fave moments like the Crystal Labyrinth, Flora’s Enchantix, the whole Omega/Tecna plotline and more. Also since the entire Club is established at this point we get to explore their dynamic a bit more. Though Musa and Flora blend a bit into the background at times and we rarely get any Specialist moments. But overall, for me it’s the best to me.

2nd- Season 2. We get Darkar, Aisha’s epic introduction and her arc, little moments for all the girls’ Charmix. HELIA?! HELIA AND FLORA?! AAAAAA!!!! Sorry fangirled there a bit. I feel like we got to see a bit more of the boys this season so I loved that. Darkar is an epic, creepy villain and I feel like the Trix are still good in this season. Also Dark Bloom was lowkey iconic and I loved the pixies this season. For me seasons 2 and 3 are very close in this ranking. The only reason it’s second is because s3 has a bit more memorable moments and of course, Enchantix.

3rd- This might surprise yall but… season 4. I LOVE season 4. I love the Wizards, their dynamic and personalities, Anagan’s little weird flirting with Flora? Gold. It has a lot of unnecessary drama between the Specialists and the Winx but I can let it slide because of the great ideas. We get the Wizards of the Black Circle, the dynamic with Roxy as we get to see another young girl get her world twisted upside down. Then, we free the Earth fairies and… they want fucking revenge. And that’s awesome. The timeline makes absolutely no fucking sense though. I’ll be honest, this one is mostly here due to nostalgia (this season was my fave for a very long time) and ideas not necessarily execution. But this one will always have a special place in my heart.

4th- the one that started it all, season 1! The one where we get introduced to almost all of the girls the only season in which Riven actually gets to keep his development, it’s he best season of the Trix and… this one is probably the most coherent one when it comes to plot since the plot had to be simple since we were just being introduced to the characters and world. I love this season so much. The only reason it isn’t higher is mostly cause the others just have so much more going on that this one can fade a bit into the background but I still absolutely adore it. Also, I have a thing with insects so the Army of Darkness still gives me the creeps to this day just… no- ew

5th- Now on to where I personally feel the decline truly started, season 5. So, they returned the squad to school with no explanation and just… okay? Then all of a sudden Aisha have these cousins that have never been shown before and one of them is evil and has the Trix join him and… okay? And then… it’s just a mess of somewhat good ideas but this is also when they start making the Winx childish like, even more than they were in season 1. And I cannot remember anything about the boys this season, literally just that stupid amnesia plotline like- what?! Can we please just give Bloom and Sky a break? I actually liked the idea of them breaking up to give themselves sometime but no let’s just get fucking- I can’t even. This was just a weird season overall to me. I liked the concept of the oceans and sometimes it was done really well other times not. Also the Trix just… lose their impact

6th- now… wow… I like some of the concepts here, mainly Selina and the Legendarium but they were executed so fucking horribly. I adore the Bloomix designs like, I might even put them above Enchanitx they are so fucking pretty but the way they get it is just… such bullshit? And then the Legendarium could’ve been a chance to make up myths for other planets but no for some reason they are all from Earth? And then Daphne’s random ass plotline and randomly getting married and just what?! The only thing I liked were the designs, Helia and Flora having a conflict even if it was a bit stupid and Musa losing her voice. That’s literally all I can remember cheering for. And now we have a form unironically called Bloomix… remember when I said season 3 focused a bit too much on Bloom? Yeah… also I fucking hate the fairy godmother I’m not even going to look up her name. Selina had potential but then the Trix at this point are just pitiful. So yeah, this is when I oficially gave up on the series, I didn’t even watch the full final few episodes I just skimmed them.

And that’s the ranking! Also, Winx is now my same age, I feel fucking old ajjajajaja.

More LazyTown Headcanons!!

Well, since the last time I shared a LazyTown headcanon seemed to be preety well reciebed, I'll do it again!!!

Not long after the plays, Solla and Halla got together and eventually gave birth to a child, who grew up to become the pink girl we all know and love. For my headcanon, Stephanie is a trans girl who was preety quickly accepted by her moms, Solla even suggested new names for her (Stacy, Sally, Sonia, Tiffany, Stiffany, Stephanie, etc).

Stephanie, however, wasn't sure of how it would be for her at school. But Halla encouraged her to go and tell her classmates anyways. Stephanie did and when she wasn't accepted, Solla and Halla knew the ideal thing for their daughter would be go to a place where they knew they'd accept her. So, while they packed everything up, they sent Stephanie to LazyTown on her own to live with her uncle.

Solla and Halla eventually arrived to LazyTown during season 3 or so, but let Stephanie live with the Mayor for a little longer. Stephanie visits them regularly and they even met up with Sportacus 10 and were like "Damn 9, you look even more strong than when we last saw you".

If you're wondering, Trixie has a mom and a dad (that's kind of implied) however, like most "bullies/pranksters", his parentes don't pay him much attention (yes, I am going with the Trix being a trans boy headcanon, deal with it), so when he met Stephanie's moms (aka his mothers-in-law) he was like "… Can you adopt me-"

And, as you could imagine, Trix has a more close bond with Halla "Hey, Mrs. Hrekkjusvín, is Stephy here or with her uncle?" "She's at the sports field, Trix, BTW you can call me Halla" (She sometimes lets him use her old slingshot, without Stephanie or Solla knowing)

“You’re capable of such great things, individually but also as a group, that sometimes I think we all forget how young you still are.” “So, what do we do?” Tecna asked. “It’s not what you have to do, it’s what I’m going to do.  I’m sending you all on vacation.” There was a beat of silence.  Whatever the girls had been expecting Faragonda to say, it hadn’t been that. “So, where are you sending us?” Bloom asked. “Requies, it is the ultimate vacation destination of the Magical Universe.  It’s a very small planet, the size of a very large resort really, which is basically all it is.  The natural magic of the land promotes rest, recovery, and relaxation.  Alfea has a close relationship with Requies as it’s not unusual for us to send third year fairies for respite if they experience academic burn out.  Your trip will include skiing, camping, and a wildlife experience.” Despite their reservations, Faragonda was painting the image of a luxurious vacation, made even more appealing when she added that they would be taking the school credit card to purchase anything they needed in the Requies retail sector. “I don’t want you to worry about magic at all.  In fact…” Faragonda hesitated, as if predicting what she was about to say would not go down well. Bloom stared at her hard.  “What?” Faragonda met her gaze unflinchingly.  “In fact, you won’t have access to your magic at all.” “What?!” the girls exploded, bursting at once into chatter. Faragonda held up her hands.  “Requies has a magical suppression option for its guests and I thought a week with no magic might be beneficial.  It is not like when your magic is cut off as punishment at Alfea,” she continued when it looked like they were going to argue further.  “The Requiestrians have a very gentle touch, you’ll barely notice that you can’t access it.” “I thought we were supposed to be working on our convergence and earning our Charmix?” Bloom demanded. Her friends shifted uncomfortably at the intensity in her voice.  None of them were particularly pleased by the prospect of a week with no magic, but Bloom seemed truly unsettled by the idea. “Those things don’t come from your magic, Bloom,” Faragonda said gently.  “You earn your Charmix by looking within with honest eyes, while true convergence is attained by understanding the fairy next to you as well as you know yourself, if not more so.  You don’t need your magic for this, in fact it might even be getting in your way.” Bloom didn’t look comforted and opened her mouth to argue further when Flora touched her elbow gently.  She yanked it away and folded her arms around herself, looking away from everyone. Flora, trying not to look stung, said, “I’m sure Requies is perfectly safe, Miss Faragonda.  But what if Darkar or the Trix follow us there.  We wouldn’t be able to defend ourselves and the Requiestrians would be put in danger.” Faragonda smiled patiently.  “I would never send you somewhere defenceless, Flora.”  Her eyes lifted over their heads, gazing at the wall, as if she could see through the layers of wood and stone to the quad beyond.  A twinkle lit up her eyes.  “In fact, I think your security team has just arrived.”
