I saw something absolutely bizarre while cycling and I can't be sure I didn't fully just hallucinate it.

So I was pulling up to a main road after coming off a bike path, and near the junction there was this dude in a black hoodie that had a black-and-white photograph of a face on it. I realised, with some amount of bewilderment, that it was his face, and he was kinda doing the Dreamworks smirk.

And when he saw me staring at it, he looked at me and did the exact same expression with his real face.

I was fucking dissociating the rest of my bike ride, man.

i think kim is just as complex of a character as harry, but i think a good amount of players (not all, but a chunk) choose to unflinchingly characterize him as “the Good Cop” and leave it at that.

#kim was a child of the revolution. he has faced racial discrimination all his life #even in a position of authority he still encounters overt racism while on the clock #but he has also killed. it's implied that the majority of his kill count comes from his time working with juveniles #he defends a police force that is corrupt and does jackshit- a tool of the coalition #the same coalition that was likely responsible for the death of both his parents #he used to be a moralist and claims to be apolitical #and yet there are times where he takes what are decidedly un-moralist left-wing stances #there is just so much there.

Concept: Fire-sibs with Congenital Prosopagnosia. They’re face-blind.

Azula is fine. She chose 2 friends with extremely distinctive voices & body-language and decided that was enough. Recognizing anyone else is beneath her station as a princess. If they were important they’d wear a crown.

Zuko on the other hand has been on this ship for 3 years and he’s concerned that if he doesn’t capture the Avatar soon, this group of middle-aged men might begin to suspect can’t tell them apart.

Literally any disguise will fool Zuko. Cover Aang’s tattoos and he can’t pick him out of a lineup. Fortunately water-tribe teens are rare outside of the poles, and Aang has a habit of declaring himself the Avatar so he stands a chance as long as they don’t catch on…

Bonus: Ty Lee’s sisters don’t even look that much like her. It’s just a standard familial resemblance. But Zuko and Azula both made the mistake several times as children and have complained about how hard it is to tell them all apart, and nobody bothered to correct them (because royalty) so Ty Lee believed them.

Like society has spent the last 40 years systematically breeding out the genes required to make a face like Ringo Starr's (a great tragedy and one of the major signs of the decline of Western civilisation in my opinion) so I think sadly we are beyond the point of getting actors that actually look like them. I frequently have to remind myself that Machete is not, in fact, some sort of big fluffy bat. Or rat. Or fox. Or some wretched chimera of the three.

But I think he would make a very good specimen of any of those. But mostly the bat.

This far he's been called a bat, rat, fox, opossum and maned wolf (plus gargoyle, goblin and kitsune), and those are just the ones I'm aware of and remember at the moment. He also gets mistaken for a borzoi a lot these days, which is understandable, they're sighthounds and he's a sighthound, though I personally think the big pointy ears are distinctly un-borzoi-like.

Highly doubtful in my opinion: The city doesn't want drow living there, even if it's technically legal, and the majority of drow have no desire to live on the surface either - especially not Lolthite drow, who have zero motivation. The sun is painful and the rivvil are blasphemous and inferior. What, you want them to live peacefully with darthiiri??

Most of the Realms counts the dark elves amongst the "monsters" like illithid. Drow have always been and mostly still are (mutually) kill on sight for the most part, and you absolutely do not under any circumstances want to encourage Lolth worship in your city.

If Bhaal isn't welcome Lolth absolutely shouldn't be. "Guys who like to kill"? You mean like Lolthites who are raised in a society-wide murder cult from birth to do just that?
