When I say I want my ships jealous and overprotective, I don’t mean it in the possessive, edgy, “nobody can touch them but me” way. When I say jealous I mean “I’m so in love with them, it makes me sooo sad that someone else is making them happy because I wish that was me” and when I say overprotective, I mean “I love them so much that nothing hurts me more than seeing them in pain, and I would do anything to stop that.”
To make up for the lost back end, streamers floated performance-based incentives. Schur describes a scenario in which a platform might promise a showrunner a $100,000 bonus for season one, $250,000 for season two, $500,000 for season three, and $1.7 million for season four. "So you’re like, Holy shit. This is great!" he says. There was a catch. Many seemingly successful series began to vanish after just a couple of seasons. "What no one saw coming was they’d just kill the show before they ever had to pay that money out," Schur says. “They kind of tricked everybody. Now if you get to 20 episodes, it’s a miracle."

when people go "I LOVE and SUPPORT trans lesbians!!!!! oh but if you're an mspec lesbian I hate you you're disgusting you're evil and vile and evil and disgusting and not a real lesbian, GTFO!!!! disgusting fake lesbians are gross and invading our community. anyways I love trans lesbians <3"
Like, bitch, I hate to break it to you, but most mspec lesbians are literally trans. Which you would know if you'd stop being transmisic for the five fucking seconds it takes to listen to them.
Anyways, don't forget to mark people who hate mspec lesbians red in Shinigami Eyes. You aren't safe for any trans people unless you're safe for all of us.
Darius already being mentored by the previous Golden Guard while Eda’s friend group was still tight does have some interesting implications though.
He was around them some, like how Eda is Luz’s friend group. Darius spent the most time with him by far, but he wasn’t just a face behind a mask to any of them. They all knew him as a person due to the shared connection with Darius.
Which makes his eventual death even more tragic.
The previous Golden Guard’s death and Darius’ deeply changing due to it was one of the main reasons Eda’s friend group started falling apart. New headcanon.
Especially since Darius was apparently the Willow of the group: The voice of reason, the peacekeeper when needed, like in COTH, despite being chaotic a good bit of the time
“Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love. Why Bilbo Baggins? Perhaps because I am afraid, and he gives me courage.”
I don't want it to end but I really love the way it ended at the same time. Three(!) is a good number of seasons for a tv series in my opinion. Long enough to fully explore the themes and stories and allow the characters to grow and have realistic arcs but also short enough so it's not dragging out. End on a high note. I really really love this show. Me and my family were watching the third season weekly as the new episodes came out but then were craving more of it so we went back and re-watched the old seasons. It's really fucking good. I laugh my ass off at so many moments but there are so many poignant and beautiful and moving moments too. Definitely recommend if you haven't watched it yet.
