I Promise - Clarisse La Rue x F!Reader
Tumblr media
Reader Age: 16-17
Reader Godly Parent: Poseidon
Synopsis: Reader has just returned from the Labyrinth onto a battlefield. In an adaptation of the Battle of the Labyrinth, the Reader is faced with their own internal battle and wonders if keeping their relationship with Clarisse a secret is truly worth it, as well as facing the realities of war and its implications for their little brother.
Word Count: 3197 (I had thoughts and suddenly there were words on a google document. I had nothing to do with this.)
Preface:
Some of the lines and dialogue are written directly or slightly changed lines from Rick Riordian’s novel “Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth.” Not all of this story is originally from me. Majority of these events happen in the order that they occur in the book with some minor tweaks
Also don’t ask me how the prophecy works here okay. I just think Percy deserves a big sister idk
I'm not 100% sure what age Clarisse is in this book, but google says she's about 16-17, so keep that in mind
================================================
Even if pegasi are like neutral territory between Zeus and Poseidon, I never would fully relax while flying on the back of one. I held on tightly to my pegasus the entire time, muttering apologies for my grip to her the whole time. It’s alright, boss, she told me. If you could just let up on my skin, that would be great.
Once we landed in Camp Half-Blood, I dismounted, petting my pegasus’ snout and apologizing again until she turned with the rest of her friends back towards the stables. Once I turned towards everyone else, Percy seemed to have already shared our story with Chiron and Silenus was arguing with Grover about Pan.
I didn’t pay much attention to this. Not because I didn’t care, but because the lines of half-bloods around Zeus’ fist caught my eye first. I watched as every single half-blood seemed to fall into place, with the Hephaestus cabin maintaining their traps, Apollo and Hermes’ cabins ready with bows in the trees, and Aphrodite kids running around combing people’s hair and straightening their armor.
What I was truly looking for, however, was the Ares cabin, which I found exactly where I knew they would be: the front lines. I surveyed for the girl I had been aching to see since I had left camp, a time that seemed much longer than it probably was. My eyes eventually found her, barking orders at her siblings.
I watched Clarisse move across the lines, prepared for battle and preparing those that stood with her. My eyes moved wherever she moved, never letting up, as if they were people who had finally gotten their first sip of water after years in a desert. I was so focused on her movements, I barely noticed when she finally looked at me.
I wondered if anyone else was following her line of sight, or mine. I wondered if we held the same expressions on our faces. I wondered if anyone could figure out what we were saying.
I love you. I’m sorry we can’t talk right now. Not with what’s happening. Not with this many people around. I will find you after all of this is over.
I promise.
We nodded at each other, faces determined, before we both turned back to our respective duties. I watched as each of my friends dispersed to do what they had to: Annabeth with her siblings, Tyson with the Hephaestus kids, and Grover went over to Juniper.
“Both of you, stay with me,” Chiron spoke. “I want you to wait so we know what we are dealing with. You must go where we need reinforcements.”
Percy and I nodded at him. “I saw Kronos,” Percy suddenly said. “It was Luke.. but he wasn’t…”
“He had golden eyes, yes? To merge with a mortal body would be… arduous. I’m not sure how he could have merged with Luke’s form without it burning into ash,” Chiron wondered aloud.
I chimed in, “Kronos said he had prepared the body.”
“I fear what that can mean. Perhaps it will limit his power, being in a mortal form.”
“Chiron,” Percy’s voice was laced with worry. “What if Kronos is leading this attack?”
“He is not,” Chiron replied, incredibly sure. “I would sense if he was drawing near. I believe you have… inconvenienced him when you two pulled his throne room on top of him.” He paused. “You two and your friend Nico, son of Hades.”
Percy looked down at the ground as I spoke. “We know we should’ve told you. It’s just—”
“I understand why you did not tell me. You felt responsible. You sought to protect him. However, if we are to survive this, we must be able to trust each other. We must —”
Chiron was cut off by the sudden wavering of the Earth. I heard Clarisse yell, “Lock shields!”
Then the Titan Army was upon us.
At first, all I saw was the Laistrygonians. Beckendorf yelled orders to fire the catapults, one of which fired a boulder that took one of them down. Arrows flew through the air. Campers gathered to bring down the remaining giants. I watched as Clarisse yelled even more orders.
Just when it seemed we were winning, another wave came out of the Labyrinth, this time of dracaenae. They were completely covered with battle armor, carrying nets and spears. I watched as some fell into traps while others were battling with campers. I looked for Clarisse again, finding her in a locked fight with one of the reptilian women.
I thought about how unfair this all was. How we were all just kids. How we were forced into this war. How all of this hate and pain was caused by hunger for power.
I thought about how badly I wanted to take Percy away from all of this. How every day I wanted to get him away from his prophecy. How I wanted more than anything for him to be a little kid again.
I thought about how much I wanted to do with Clarisse. How beautiful she was. How she never failed to be the person I could always return to. How she promised me the world and I promised her the universe and it was still less than the both of us deserved.
I thought about how different my life could be if we were brave enough to change it. Maybe being a half-blood wasn’t something we wanted or something we could change. But, we didn’t need to be hiding anymore. It all seemed so stupid now, in the face of life and death,
Suddenly, a hellhound burst out of the opening and Chiron was yelling. “GO!”
Percy and I ran towards the hellhound. All I could see was horrifically clear images in the midst of a blur. Past friends and siblings fighting on opposing sides. Monsters disintegrating whilst others yelled triumphantly. I watched as Nico summoned a dozen undead warriors in various army attire before crumbling to the floor.
“Nico!” I yelled.
“Go! I’ll get the hellhound. You make sure he’s okay!” Percy yelled, running off as I slowed down. I pivoted to Nico, getting on my knees beside him.
“You okay?” I yelled over the commotion of battle.
“Yeah…” he panted. “Go, there’s more of them. You need to help.”
I looked up and got my first full look at everything that was happening. At the gruesome sights of battle. I watched as campers defended their home, the one place they were meant to be safe. I nodded to Nico before getting up.
I almost started to run back where Percy had gone when I heard Grover. He and Juniper were desperately trying to stop a fire that was getting dangerously close to Juniper’s tree. I rushed over, seeing Percy do the same.
I wasn’t sure what to do and by the look on his face, Percy didn’t either. The closest water source was nearly half a mile away, and we didn’t have petrified seashells here. All we could do was concentrate, praying to Poseidon, until I felt a pull in my gut. Suddenly, a wall of water appeared through the trees, dousing the fire. I sighed in relief, glad at least one crisis was averted.
Suddenly, a screech filled the air, followed by the sound of loud flapping wings. Kampê shot into the sky from the labyrinth entrance. Her right hand carried Ariadne’s string until her belt of animal heads rotated to the lion. She stuck the string into the lion’s maw. Safe keeping, I suppose.
Kampê drew her twin swords, which seemed to be dripping with poison. Chiron sent an arrow through the sky towards her, which she sensed as she moved at the last moment. Campers started to run away in fear.
“No! Stay and fight!” Tyson yelled, before being promptly slammed to the ground by a hellhound. They went rolling away.
Kampê landed on the Athena tent and Percy and I ran after her. Annabeth appeared on Percy’s side.
“This might be it,” she said.
“Could be,” Percy replied.
“Okay… morbid,” I muttered under my breath, but neither of them seemed to hear me, or acted like they didn’t.
“Nice fighting with you, seaweed brain.”
“Ditto.”
We all rushed towards Kampê, who lashed at us with her swords. My eyes burned from the poison lacing the blades. My lungs couldn’t seem to fully fill with air.
“We need help!” I yelled.
But there was no one to help. Either each half-blood was locked in their own fight or was too afraid to move towards us.
“Now!” Annabeth yelled, and all three of us rushed in at different angles. But it wasn’t enough. Kampê’s belt of animals snapped at me and I went back trying to not get bitten.
Suddenly, I was on my back, ears ringing and head spinning. I couldn’t breathe due to a heavy weight. I opened my eyes to see Kampê’s leg on my chest, Percy pinned under the other, and Annabeth thrown off to the side, dazed and not getting up. Kampê raised her sword and I realized this was it. I prayed that Percy would get a fair judgement from the council in the Underworld, that they hadn’t all been bought out by Kronos.
Suddenly, a whirl of black pounced onto Kampê, throwing her off of us and I gasped for air.
“Good girl!” Daedalus called after her. I turned my head and watched as he slashed down monsters, followed closely behind by a friendly face… and many hands.
“Briares!” Tyson called excitedly.
“Hail, little brother!” Briares bellowed back. “Stand firm!”
Briares took up a boulder in nearly each hand, throwing them at Kampê, piling them around her. She was encased within her own makeshift monument taller than Zeus’ fist. By the time he was done, the only evidence that there was an ancient monster inside was from the twin swords still poking out between the stones.
The rocks shifted slightly, slotting into place.
Before I could celebrate that victory, I heard commotion over to the side. I turned just in time to watch Chiron get knocked down from his hind legs, laying on his side. I tried my best to get up, ignoring the ache in my chest from Kampê’s attack.
As suddenly as I had gotten up to start running towards Chiron, I was back on my knees, covering my ears. The shrill sound seemed to come out of nowhere until I looked over at Grover. His mouth open wide, he seemed to have infinite lung capacity as the sound continued.
The enemies seemed to think better than to stick around after that. I watched dracaenae put down their weapons and sprint towards the labyrinth entrance. I watch laestrygonians rush towards the entrance right after them. More and more of the armies retreated until eventually they all seemed to have gone back underground.
Once the screeching had stopped, the sudden stillness in the air was agonizing. All I could hear was my own breathing as I heaved, still trying to recover from the previous heaviness crushing my lungs. I eventually pushed myself up and grabbed one of Annabeth’s arms with Percy.
I ran with the other two over to Chiron and kneeled in front of him.
“Are you alright? What can I do?”
“Nothing. This is embarrassing,” Chiron chuckled. “Thankfully, we don’t shoot centaurs with broken legs. I’ll be alright eventually.”
“Let me get someone from the medic tent,” Annabeth rushed, already standing up before Chiron stopped her.
“No need, Annabeth. There are far more severe injuries.”
“Guys!” I whipped my head to look for the source of the voice. “Come quick! It’s Nico.”
I shot up, running over to the black heap on the floor. I’d forgotten about him after the intense battle. Dammit.
I got down next to him, looking at his sweaty face. I grabbed his ice cold hands for a pulse.
“He needs nectar! Quickly!” Percy yelled. One of the Ares campers quickly came over with the bottle as I propped Nico up as best as I could onto my knee. Percy dribbled some of the liquid into his mouth. I let out a sigh of relief as he stirred.
“Gods, Nico. I’m so sorry. Are you okay?”
The boy coughed slightly before nodding. “Never tried to summon so many at once before. I’ll be okay.” He turned his head to look beside me. “Daedalus.”
I looked over at the man as Mrs. O’Leary loomed behind him, licking his wounds that were leaking oil. Freaky.
Percy and Daedalus spoke as I tried to convince Nico to rest for a moment. Of course, he refused. I shook my head at him. “One day, you'll have to stop being so stubborn,” I told him.
He rolled his eyes, but smiled slightly. “Bianca would say the same thing. I’ll stop when it doesn’t work for me anymore.”
“But Daedalus,” Percy said. “Even without the string, Kronos’ army still has a way into camp.”
“You’re right,” Daedalus sighed. “As long as the Labyrinth is here, your enemies can use it. And so, the labyrinth can no longer continue.”
Annabeth stepped forward. “But, you said the Labyrinth was connected to you. If the labyrinth’s gone –”
“Yes, Annabeth. I too will be gone. And so, I have a present for you.”
Daedalus removed his satchel from his back and pulled out his laptop, engraved with a greek delta, and handed it to Annabeth. “That holds several designs of mine. Some unfinished, some I think you’ll find interesting, others I felt could never be in the mortal world. I'm positive you will find some things useful there.”
Annabeth was speechless. “This… This is priceless. And you’re just giving this to me?”
“It is less than you deserve. Less than I should do to atone for my mistakes.”
As Daedalus spoke of his time coming to an end and accepting whatever punishment he will be given from his judgment in the Underworld, I came to realize just how small we all are. Just how little we are meant to live. How many regrets we still have over such little time.
I looked around at all of the half-bloods scattered around. I saw some over at the medical tent, others scattered just hugging their friends and siblings, some sitting by the ones we lost who had been covered by thin fabrics.
I questioned my own mortality, and Percy’s. We weren’t meant to live forever. We were never going to. But with the little amount of time we both had, how many regrets would we hold with us?
I thought of Clarisse. I thought of how I hadn’t gone up to her before the battle. How I’d always regret that. I thought of how we both decided to keep our relationship a secret. How that was something I didn’t want to do anymore if it meant having to live with regrets. I thought about how I hadn’t seen her since I had joined the battle.
I looked back at the scene before me as Nico pulled out his sword and stepped before Daedalus. After being zoned out for a second, it freaked me out, until I realized Nico wasn’t raising it.
“Your time has long since come. Be released and rest.”
The relief in Daedalus’ eyes was freeing for us all. Knowing that he was truly ready brought us all some consolation. We watched as his body turned to dust.
I took Percy’s hand in mine and gave him a small smile. “I know there’s a lot to do, but there's something I have to do first.”
Percy nodded. “I know,” he said, and for some odd reason, I knew that he fully did, even though he didn’t say it. I looked down as he continued to speak. “You really didn’t have to hide it from me, you know? I was a bit upset about it at first but I think I was more… sad that you felt you couldn’t tell me.”
I looked back into his eyes and breathed out through my nose, smiling softly. “I just didn’t want you to hate me for this. More than just the ‘Clarisse’ part.”
“Oh, well, that part I might hold a bit of a grudge about,” he smiled at me in a way that told me he was joking. “But otherwise, all I care about is that you’re happy.”
We smiled at each other before Percy suddenly wrapped his arms around my waist. It felt like he was just a little kid again, like he was just my little brother, nothing more. It felt like we suddenly weren’t in the middle of a battlefield and there was an ancient monster buried in rubble just a few feet over. It felt like I was back home. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders.
“I will kill her if she makes you cry.”
We laughed harder than we should have.
He pulls away first, telling me to “get my girl.” I don’t even think twice before turning and starting to run through the battlefield.
I frantically looked around for Clarisse, hoping and praying to every single god that she was okay. I was so frantic that I nearly missed her over by the Ares station, seeming to be ignoring something her brother was saying in favor of looking out at all of the other half-bloods.
I didn’t even think before my feet were moving. Clarisse started to walk around, looking for something. It wasn’t until we made eye contact that I realized it was me she was looking for, when her eyes softened in the way they always seemed to whenever she looked at me, like she was letting go of the anger embedded within her skin and cooling off just a bit.
It didn’t matter to me that we were surrounded by people, and Clarisse made no complaints when my left hand cupped her cheek and my lips met hers. Her arms held my waist as my right arm circled around to hold the back of her neck. I could feel the sweat that was dripping down from the battle and the adrenaline that was just beginning to crash.
I didn’t realize she was crying until I tasted the saltiness. I withdrew slightly before pecking her lips once more. The thumb of my left hand moved to her cheek and under her eye to wipe the tears.
I didn’t realize I was crying until Clarisse’s left hand left my waist to wipe the tears on the right side of my face. We both laughed slightly, bringing our foreheads together and closing our eyes. I angled my head to kiss her one more time before hugging her properly. She buried her face into my neck and I laughed at how it tickled.
“Gods, we both smell horrible.”
“I know.”
We didn’t speak for a while, soaking up each other, but it still didn't feel like enough.
“I’m glad you’re okay,” she whispered.
“I’m glad you’re okay, too.”
It didn’t matter that everyone at camp could see us and Clarisse didn’t seem to mind it either. There were more important things than reputation right now.

Speculative Analysis: Why TFP Soundwave is so Terrifying to His Fellow Cybertronians
Time for an essay on why I think TFP Soundwave might have chosen his current cryptid form—electrical tentacles and all. There’s a TL;DR at the end, so feel free to scroll down first and then decide if you want to read the full thing.
This will involve cross-continuity speculation, centered around TFP / Aligned but with some IDW / MTMTE lore thrown in. This could also loosely apply to Bayverse Soundwave, but I won’t be focusing on him. I’m confident you all can infer the potential implications for that version of his character by the time you reach the end.
Okay, so I’ve seen several fellow TFP fans speculate about why Soundwave went from beefy gladiator to bonafide cryptid. Some say it could have been due to the loss of his horde of “minicons” (the term used in ‘Exodus’ by Alex Irvine). Others think it was just Soundwave’s way of adapting to the direction of the war by taking on a form that would give him the best strategic advantage in his position as Megatron’s communications officer. I agree with the latter, but I think there could be more to it than that.
As we see in the flashback for Ratchet’s story and the TFP Titan comics, Soundwave had his current frame type, armor, and alt mode back on Cybertron:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Sarcastic Soundwave: Superior]
In the real world, Soundwave’s design is based on the MQ-9 Reaper military drone—an earth-based aircraft, but I’m not going to address that small discrepancy since it’s not relevant to this analysis. Skinny, cryptid drone Soundwave existing prior to his arrival on earth supports my theory anyway.
“Can’t we throw a tarp over him? He’s creepin’ me out.”
-Bulkhead in Minus One
On the surface, Bulkhead’s comment and Smokescreen’s subsequent response seem like an interaction between a couple of Autobots who are unnerved because they’re familiar with Soundwave’s reputation—Bulkhead more so than Smokescreen since the latter had probably not seen Soundwave up close in action before coming to earth. However, I think some of Bulkhead’s fear might have been due to an entirely different reason: Sparkeaters.
While reading MTMTE #3, my eyes were met with this lovely sight /s :
Tumblr media
[Hey, wasn’t the energon eater in Rescue Bots called “Sparky” too? I guess it’s a cross-continuity tradition to call life-sucking parasites “Sparky” at least once.]
Terrifying? Yes. But I stared in horrified awe at this abomination and thought, “Wait. One. Fragging. Minute. I’m having a galaxy brain moment.”
Tumblr media
Mind. Blown. Their overall sharp, jagged appearance, their thin, but formidable frames, their prehensile cables extending from somewhere inside (fuel lines for the sparkeater; multipurpose tentacles for Soundwave). I was—and still am—fascinated by the uncanny resemblance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Now who’s Sparky?]
It’s true that sparkeaters aren’t confirmed to be canon in the Aligned continuity, but their existence isn’t denied either. We got something similar with the zombie Terrorcons, but those were a new phenomenon produced either by Megatron’s blind ambition and stupidity or Knockout and Starscream’s lack of forethought and scientific restraint. For the sake of where I’m taking this, let’s assume that sparkeaters, as defined by IDW, do exist in the Aligned universe. What would this mean for Soundwave’s disturbing choice of frame/body type? Why choose a visual motif so strongly associated with death and disease?
One word: Mimicry
Mythologically, historically, and medically, sparkeaters are inseparable from death and disease. Their very existence instills fear in most Cybertronians. What better way for Soundwave to strike terror into the sparks of his enemies (and potential enemies) than to take on a physical form that resembles the sparkeater—something that has been known to kill normal Cybertronians using a deeply disturbing, painful, and even sacrilegious method? Even though the initial shock of seeing a “sparkeater” show up during or around a fight would have dissipated once the Autobots realized it was mostly cosmetic, an impression would have been left. Coupled with his spy capabilities and gladiator-style prowess in combat, a message would have been sent: Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
And there you have it, folks! Another reason to love Soundwave’s design.
Bonus:
I could see Soundwave being called a few things by allies and enemies alike: “The Decepticon Sparkeater,” “Soundwave the Sparkeater,” or just “The Sparkeater.”
An interaction between two Autobot scouts:
Scout 1, over comms: “You there, kid? Who is it? Who did Megatron send this time?”
Scout 2: “It’s The Sparkeater! He’s here!”
1: “You mean Soundwave!? Do you have a visual?”
2: “How many ‘Cons do we see walkin’ around looking like sparkeaters??? Of course it’s Soundwave! And yeah, I’ve got a visual.”
1: “Aw, hell. Things just got a whole lot more complicated.”
TL;DR: Soundwave may have put more thought into his appearance than is obvious. He may have opted to look like a sparkeater as a way of sending a highly effective warning.

Puppet On a String
(18+, Explicit) Kinktober 2023 Day 14 Selfcest/Cloning
“He’s a bit like a doll,” Gale said looking over at you.
You were focused on him, well another him.
“ A puppet?” You offered, hand straying to the necklace you wore.
Real Gale’s head cocked to the side in consideration before giving a short nod. “Yes, I suppose so.”
The puppet just stood there in the center of your bedroom and blinked. You hadn’t activated control yet so this very accurate puppet Gale was more or less a lifeless toy.
You’d met a version of him back in the Shadowlands, one that beckoned you to a clearing and to Gale. It had piqued your interest that night, he’d been corporeal in a way that most mirror images weren’t. But you’d forgotten about him for some time, other things taking precedence.
After about the tenth question regarding this puppet, Gale had offered to create him. It was more than an incantation, something requiring numerous ingredients to create the shell. You could now appreciate the work Gale had put into him while on the road, all an effort to make that night special.
The form wasn’t permanent, Gale assumed he’d last about a day unless dismissed. He also couldn’t withstand much in the way of damage, that didn’t matter tonight. Because as soon as Gale had offered to recreate him your mind had turned down a far less academic road. Which Gale had, of course, realized.
What he didn’t realize was that the reason you wanted to control the puppet was for a far more depraved reason than desiring a two-person threesome. You’d get to that.
“He’s very accurate,” you mused taking the time to appreciate that little fact.
The puppet was conjured naked (which explained why he’d worn Gale’s armor that night) and was very accurate in all ways. Gale seemed amused by your reaction. He was also the only one in the room with any clothes on. You’d stripped and climbed onto the bed not long after the puppet was made.
“So I just repeat the incantation and I’ll be in control of him?” You wanted to be certain.
“One must think in directives but yes,” Gale agreed, but he paused, “Are you sure you don’t wish me to control it?”
You shook your head, “I’m very certain of what I want.”
Your wizard had the sense of mind to look concerned.
You repeated the incantation as Gale had taught you and almost immediately you felt the link. It was not unlike the link the tadpoles had formed between you and the others, this felt more like being linked to emptiness.
All you had to think was about walking and he did. You were impressed, you’d assumed it would be clumsy like other magical creations but he did a very passable job of imitating Gale. Or maybe that was because your mind had given the puppet that knowledge. It was a strange thought and one you didn’t wish to focus on right now.
The puppet came to a stop before Gale once more.
“Shall we start?” Gale asked looking to you.
You nodded but the puppet didn’t move.
Gale glanced between the two of you for a moment. “Dear, what exactly did you have in mind?” His voice had risen.
You did your very best to adapt a wide-eyed pleading look, which was admittedly difficult given how turned on you were getting. With great joy you realized the puppet was doing the same. “I was thinking,” you drawled, “I could watch.”
Gale swallowed harshly. You didn’t know how to read the flush crawling across his skin, he didn’t seem angry though.
“Do you really think me that conceited?” He asked sounding offended.
Immediately, you shook your head. “No, it’s not you,” you reminded him rising up on your knees, about to go to him, “It’s me, I control him. So it would just be us, like normal.”
“This is very not normal,” Gale asserted.
“Is it really any different than when you pleasure yourself?”
“Yes.” Gale was very firm in that belief apparently.
You pouted. “I want to watch you fuck yourself,” you did your best to make it sound like the most normal request.
Gale froze and you breathed.
“If I say yes,” he began.
“Oh please,” you begged.
“If I say yes, you cannot breathe a word to anyone.”
“I will keep this locked in my head forever,” you promised.
Vaguely, you realized Gale was giving in rather quickly. Too quickly. It occurred to you, not for the first time, that this may not be the first time he’d considered fucking himself with this puppet. Or maybe it hadn’t been him those other times, maybe he’d created puppets of someone else.
Either way, his quick consideration left you with a million questions.
“He doesn’t feel,” Gale reminded you, “I had considered trying to find a way to give sensation feedback to the controller, but I haven’t gotten there yet.”
Now you were certain he’d at least considered this.
“He can speak though,” He continued unaware you were on to him, “try.”
You drew on the experience from your former parasite.
“Hello.” The puppet spoke.
“Oh,” you said breathlessly, “I can do a lot with this.”
Gale, again, had the sense of mind to appear a bit alarmed by your reactions. You grinned at him, wickedly.
The puppet reached forward and place a hand on Gale’s hip, fingers holding on loosely to the material of his shirt that hung there.
“Are you sure?” The puppet spoke.
Gale was enraptured by the puppet now, eyes skating over its form. Then he nodded, licking his lips as he did. You smiled, and the puppet did as well. Wizards and their egos.
Gale was unusually passive as the puppet removed his shirt. Not resistant just not participating as you’d hoped.
“Touch me,” the puppet said, and delighted you realized his intonation changed at your whim.
Gale’s eyes dashed to yours. You pouted rather dramatically, very careful to not transfer this to the puppet. Gale reached out and resting his hand against the puppet’s chest. It wasn’t much, but it was certainly enough for you to continue. He was pliant as the puppet pulled down his pants, instead of letting them fall to the floor he knelt, guiding them the whole way.
Gale’s brain may have been unsure, but already his cock was interested.
The puppet remained kneeling, though he braced his hands on Gale’s thighs, looking up at him.
Your breath was stolen for a moment, immensely distracted by the tableau in front of you.
Slowly, giving Gale all the time in the world to back out, the puppet leaned towards his cock. When Gale didn’t object, the puppet pulled him into it’s mouth. Gale moaned, his head dropping back. This part would be a little tricky, you realized, normally, this was done by sensation. Not knowledge.
“I need you to help here,” you warned him, “don’t hold back.”
Gale nodded, Adam’s apple bobbing as he did.
The puppet began working it’s tongue. Gale moaned, a hand immediately coming up to thread through it’s hair. His hair.
You drew on every memory where you’d been in the puppet’s place. It seemed enough because Gale was moaning freely. The brief glimpses you caught of his cock when the puppet pulled back confirmed he was completely hard now.
“This is very, very wrong,” Gale groaned, in contrast to his words though, his grip in the puppet’s hair had tightened.
You saw an opportunity.
The puppet pulled back. “Fuck my mouth?” it pleaded, turning overly familiar puppy dog eyes upwards.
Gale looked down, eyes blown wide before looking to you. “Is that… is that how I sound?” he was torn between the two of you.
You laughed, “yes and no. But,” you supplied helpfully, “that is how you look.”
Gale swore but gripped his cock. He led it back to the puppet who eagerly swallowed it down. Both of Gale’s hand went to it’s hair though he paused. You worked hard to remember the feeling of your own throat when you went pliant below someone. Subconsciously your own muscles did just that. It worked, it seemed, because Gale slowly began thrusting into the puppet’s mouth.
As you watched Gale fuck his own mouth, you slid your hand between your thighs. Unsurprisingly, you were wet, you had been just at the idea of this little venture. But to see it actually come to life was lighting things within you that could not be normal.
You’d never been normal.
Gingerly you began rubbing your clit, careful not to lose focus on the puppet’s controls. You moaned, and then the puppet did. Gale followed, enjoying whatever sensation the sound had brought on. He was fucking into the puppet’s mouth far rougher than he’d ever dared to do to yours.
You rolled your flattened tongue, imagining the weight of Gale’s cock on it. Gale cursed under his breath, hips slamming into it in a way that would have damaged a real person.
You were thrilled to see him this uncontrolled.
“I dont…” Gale began, and immediately, the puppet stopped it’s ministrations with it’s mouth. “I don’t want to come in his mouth,” Gale continued after taking a moment to catch his breath.
“Do you want to fuck me, or him?” You asked breathlessly.
“You, always,” Gale answered pulling away from the puppet.
Quickly, you straightened your legs, and then he was there. Gale’s fingers found your center before he’d even gotten onto the bed. One digit immediately slid into you.
“You’re so wet,” He said sliding his finger in and out of you, you whined, falling back onto your elbows. “There is so much wrong with us,” Gale said softly before adding a second finger.
You smiled, happy he hadn’t singled you out in the wrongness of this situation. Instead, it was the two of you together, as it would always be. You moved the puppet behind him, taking care for it to walk noisily so as not to take Gale off guard.
“Oil on his fingers,” you directed, the puppet lifted it’s hand.
Gale pivoted slightly and then there was as sheen across the puppet’s fingers, dripping down it’s palm.
“You inside me first” you directed breathlessly.
Gale grabbed your hips and dragged you further down the bed. In the same motion, he slid into you. You moaned. Locking your legs around Gale’s thigh you shook your head in an effort to focus. The puppet inched forward a little and when Gale’s head dropped down into your shoulder you knew you’d been successful.
For a beat the slick sounds in the room came from only the puppet as he worked his oiled finger into Gale. You felt when he hit home, Gale’s cock twitching inside you. A short time later Gale began to move inside you finally. Almost immediately he was fucking you hard, no doubt slamming his hips back onto the puppet’s fingers.
You moaned at the thought, desperately wishing you could see. Gradually it became difficult to focus both on the puppet and your own arousal building as Gale fucked into you.
“Fuck,” You moaned, hand gripping his shoulder as your head fell back onto the bed, “I can’t keep-”
Whatever else you wanted to say was lost as Gale grabbed your leg to pull it up, thrusting into you deeper now.
“Let go,” Gale ground out through his teeth.
And you did. You came with a yell hips snapping up to meet Gale’s. He followed not long after, spilling into you with a groan, head buried into your shoulder.
As you came back to yourself, you moved the puppet away. Gale keened into your skin as the puppet pulled his fingers from him. You reached up and pulled the necklace from around your neck, it dragged through your sweat-slick skin.
“I would not be opposed to doing that again,” you said breathily.
Gale, the real one, groaned.

fear(less)
After a few months of travelling together it was only to be expected that they would catch onto your little habits, especially if it was one that put you in harms way so many times.
characters — Chain, romantic or platonic (platonic only!Wind)
warnings — gore&blood, !depiction of deep wounds!, canon-typical violence, reader is reckless™ and has no sense of self-preservation, a sliver of harmful thoughts (sky!time!), poorly described battles; mild angst with comfort (hyrule!), hints of player!au.
Wow, i finally finished this thing, took me longer than i thought. Anyways, there are a few parts that don't really follow the game line of battle, as I've adapted some things just... because i thought it'd be fun, but i hope you guys enjoy it all the same. Also tagging the dearest @cloudninetonine, didn't know which blog you would prefer so i used the one more related to LU, i hope it is up to your standards, Cloud. also, i said twi part was long? you can't wait to see legend's then.

At first it wasn't anything too eye catching.
The heroes already knew you were... hopeless when it came to fighting, the few experiences in combat you had beside them proved as much, and they didn't mind it, you helped them enough around the camp, always eager to do something when it was possible.
And while they did train you enough to at least hold out on your own in urgent cases, they didn't expect you to become a seasoned warrior like most of them, you had no need or obligation to, after all, not being bound by duty like them.
However, a few experiences in battle were enough to prove them, that yes, your less than ideal choices, were, against all odds, made rationally.

Timeʼ
It was an oversight.
A terribly, horrid, oversight.
One that, goddess fobid, could've costed your life, as you full on charged at the monster trapping him under it's claw, sending both you and the shadow beast toppling over, a disorienting groan falling from your lips as you crashed onto the floor, barely escaping the clawed hands that reached out for you, your unsteady dominant hand, trying to grip hard enough at the hilt of your sword so you could finally, finally, thrust it into the dizzying mark in it's chest.
And then, as it lifted, ready to pounce back into your form, you got the chance to see it's weakness, barely, but enough. With not an ounce of hesitation, you gave up trying to make your, now useless, dominant hand to obey you, and switched you weapon, lurching under the monster and stabbing the glowing red skin, a surge of black blood dripping into your face and clothes as the monster disappeared into itself.
“Name!” Time finally got it into himself to call you out, armored form rushing to your side at an abnormal speed.
You looked back at him, still a very gruesome, bloody messy as you gave him a victorious grin, but he couldn't find it in himself to worry about that in the moment, just wanting to check if you were too injured from the battle, but just as he was two steps in, your face morphed into something akin to panic, stumbling hurriedly into your own feet and frantically running to him.
“Wait! Beside you!” Your shout was enough to alert him, shield quickly lifted as he bashed the monster into the ground, yet, his vision blurred at the sudden movement, body still weak from the hit he'd taken previously.
He felt your hand on his back, trying to keep him steady as the other swung the blade in front of you, the metal making an annoying screech as it made contact with the black mask, which only seemed to anger the monster further, pushing forward at an ungodly speed with it's tentacles trashing around.
In the heat of the moment, you mustered all the strength you could, pushing the hero to the side — a feat that was only possible because of his weakened state — as you took the full impact, body falling to the ground with a crushing thud, you winced, but still pushed forward, the blood pumping through your body giving you the last bit of adrenaline you needed to finally ground the monster, watching it slowly disappear as the aches in your body only now started to settle.
You could hear Time thunderous voice from beside you, but it sounded so distant, yet so loud, you could only close your eyes in hopes the tinning in your ears would stop.
You felt a cool hand — a metal plate? — settling against your burning cheeks, Time eye scanning you fully, rambling quickly about something as he seemed to shout to someone on the other side of the battlefield, you tried to laugh at his worry, only being able to hack a cough, throat clogged with blood.
You could see him turning his head back to you, mouthing a “don't leave me yet” at you, you grinned.
“Not before you, old man.” You saw him frown and was quick to add. “Don' worry, 'ts not the time yet.” You couldn't wait for his answer, face drooping into his shoulder as your vision blackened.
You could only hope he would lessen his nagging from next time you woke up, pitying your battered state.

Twilightʼ
It seemed that ever since he got into this adventure, with eight other unsettling versions of himself, plus an unassuming you, his luck whenever he transformed with the twili magic pummelled — yes, even more than in his own aventure, wasn't he sufficiently unlucky during his trials.
It was an unfamiliar Hyrule, and both you and him, well, Wolfie, had assumed the responsability of checking the sorrounding areas for any threat.
And what a threat it had, a swarm of dynalfos madly chasing after the both of you, a few too rough swing of their weapons barely catching at your tearing tunic as you tried tirelessly to keep up with the wolf speed.
“Fuck! I thought these bastards didn't wander in groups, what the heck are they even doing out in the open!?” As much as Twilight would like to agree with you at the moment, he could only let out a huff in the bestial form.
You gritted your teeth, pushing your legs until they were burning with the strain, never losing speed in fear they might actually catch up with you, as you rummaged through your backpack, probably looking for anything that might work, since your sword proved to be pretty damn useless against their gauntlets.
“Hey Wolfie, do you trust me?” He barely spared you a glance, quickly noticing the bomb you recklessly lightened in your arms. “Because if you don't, you might as well go on your own way.”
He tried to yelp as you didn't let go of the bomb even as the fire engulfed almost all of the rope, your hands shaking in what he assumed to be fear, though at this point it might as well be excitement, with the maddening smirk that played in your lips.
Waves of roars and shrieks resounded behind the both of you just as you threw the bomb back, the object exploding not even a few seconds after, as you made sure to hold it until the last possible second, so they wouldn't be able to throw the object back at you and make the situation even worse. Flames licked just short of your backs, threatening to burn both the strap of your leather bag and the tip of Wolfie's tail.
You cussed under your breath, legs stopping, as you turned around to face the enemies, now finally weakened enough for the both of you to at least try to face head on.
“If I'm right, they're from the captain's Hyrule, so we don't have much time to take them down.” You saw the wolf tail flick, as if in understanding, and you took that as a signal to rush foward, hearing his steps right behind you.
You surged foward, striking the monsters with the barely retained memories of the hellish training the captain had drilled into you, almost finishing off your enemies when you heard your companion yelp, a dinolfo having grabbed at his tail just as he tackled another of the oversized lizards into the ground, just as he was about to turn, ready to maul whatever got him, a wooden shield flew past his nose, right into the monster head, sending it into it's back, completely unmoving.
When the both of you were finally finished, it was nothing more than a gory mess, guts splattered all over as the both of you laid in the midst of the atrocious visage, panting and bleeding, the man long since turned into his original form, throwing all his care into the wind as he made himself comfortable beside you.
“We have to report it back to them, especially since these fuckers must be from the captain world.” You muttered, breathing heavy as you tried to lift your arm, only a groan making it past your mouth.
The man laid beside you only mumbled in agreement, not actually moving to get up, and actually throwing an arm over your body, making sure you wouldn't get out of there until the two of you at least got some rest.
Yeah, he could let the nagging wait a bit more, for now the thought of a little rest just seemed so much better than going back only to hear how reckless the both of you were to actually act alone.
He then frowned as if remembering something, face turning to you.
“How many times did we tell ya not to thrown the shield.” His voice was exasperated and you all but glared at him.
“Ah c'mon! It works!”

Warriorsʼ
“Get down!” A cry in your voice was enough for the warrior to follow through your orders, barely dodging a monster attack on the right as you nimbly shifted to his side, blocking an aerial attack with the shield Wild had lent to you weeks ago.
He hadn't thought much of the occurrence, as one of the archers in the group quickly sent the monster down, and you dealing a final blow without much trouble, what he didn't expect, however, was to find you barely a few hours after the battle kneeled beside a water body trying to wash down an conspicuous amount of blood off the arm you had previously wielded the shield with.
“Name? Did you get hurt? You could've asked me for a potion if your stock ran off, Hyrule would've also helped, we didn't have many casualties today.” He was quick to close off the distance, even as you seemed to do your best to avoid any type of contact with the hero.
“The stock is running low...” You started, low voice, but as he didn't budge, waiting for a more plausible excuse you saw no choice but to continue. “and there's still shards in my arm, it wouldn't be helpful to heal it as it is.”
Azure eyes ran over what he previously thought to be only stains and clogs of blood over the grass, only now noticing how it shimmered under the light, pieces of what seemed to be freshly cut flesh clinging into the sharper edges.
Warriors rushed to your side, hands grabbing firmly at your shoulder and wrist, fresh blood quickly oozing into his own pristine robes, but he didn't mind, not as he noticed just how serious what he thought to only be a light wound actually was. He suppressed a frustrated groan as he heard in inhale sharply at his prodding in the less open part of the wounds.
“How did this happen?” His voice was sharp, clearly not giving you a chance to even try and escape from him.
“Nothing...” A sharp glare was enough to make you stop, clearing your throat before continuing. “The kargarocs clawed at my arm just as Wild's shield shattered. It was just that, besides, it's not as bad as it look.”
The way you winced when his fingers flexed a little too harshly around your wrists was enough to betray your own words, yet you didn't back down, not until you saw Link's face morphing from a frown into the most —fake— dashing smile you've seen him send your way.
“If it's not that bad, then i guess you wouldn't mind a little help.” The way his eyes didn't match his smile was enough of a warning of the hell he'd put you through for not taking care of yourself in the first place.
“Wait, no—”
Your loud scream resonated through the quiet forest, as the man all but huffed, taking out the shards littering your arms with a gentle, yet rigid touch.
Too bad, it was already too late, maybe this way you'll learn to stay out of trouble next time.

Hyruleʼ
He couldn't say he was thrilled to get back to his own Hyrule, while, yes, it was comforting to recognize the vegetation around, much like the many hiding spots he found during his tireless adventures, he still felt much too paranoid to parade around the existing bustling town, a gnawing feeling at the back of his head saying — screaming — that as long as he was there, the hunt for his head would prevail.
So with such thoughts, he didn't think much of letting you talk with some of the locals, much too unrelated to the hero to pose any apparent threat to the villagers, as he hid himself just short of your eyesight, as the both of you waited for the rest of the group to buy whichever necessities you were still lacking from the journey.
What he didn't expect was to suddenly hear an almost guttural growl from you, as you tensed up from the previously amicable chat, his body turning just in time to see you land a punch straight into the other person nose, blood cascading instantly down your fist.
From there it went downhill, the other two person joining in the brawl you seemed to start without a care as Hyrule rushed to your side, trying to both protect you, while also pulling you out of the fight.
“Stop that, Hyrule! I'll kill those bastards!” You voice resounded with so much unfiltered hatred, that he considered that your threats may actually turn out be true, wasn't he quick enough to act.
He had always thought of you as calm and collected, a little silly sometimes, but that was about it, yet as he saw you snarling at the opposing group, having to almost wrestle you out of the place, he could see just how soft you actually were to the group of heroes.
The traveller regretted having put out his power bracelet in fear of hurting anyone too much, as throwing your fighting form over his shoulder and setting back proved to be much harder than when he did same with the usual pacific you, his steps thumped loudly against the dry grass, the sound of angered shouts getting more and more distant with the passing seconds, along with your own, which died into tiny sobs and hiccups.
When he noticed your chasers weren't on your tails anymore, he finally stopped, breathing hagged as he carefully lowered you to the floor, hands instantly coming to cup your face carefully, thumbing at the tears, worried expression as he checked your body for any wounds, his magic making quick work on any he spotted.
“Now now, what's the problem? What happened.” He watched as the tears didn't stop, yet you frowned in annoyance.
Not at him, of course. Never at him.
You pursed your lips, teeth gritting as you finally started talking, a sigh falling regretfully from your lips.
“Those bastar—” A quiet hush from him forced you to stop, his eyes never letting yours leave his. “They” You growled “were acting like you were nothing more than a curse. It's not fair that you get this type of treatment after all you did to save those people.”
His smile grew a little, strong arms engulfing you in a warm hug, your own slithering across his back naturally as he leaned into your shoulder.
“I don't care about those things.” Not for as long as I have you. “But thank you, Name.” His soft hum was quiet against your ear, and that was all the comfort the both of you could ever need, tightly wound in each other embrace.

Legendʼ
Legend was against the whole plan.
Especially when it took place with you acting as the bait, taking the unlucky lot while they drawed each person role.
He gritted his teeth, looking regretfully at the Pegasus Boot and the defense ring he placed in your hands, while you laughed awkwardly.
“You don't have to give me that, you know. I know how to battle, maybe not as much as you guys, but I can handle on my own.” You tried, pushing the items back into his hands, but he stepped back before you would force him to take, his frown only getting deeper.
“I know.” Was his only answer, to which you quirked your brow quizzically and he huffed. “We all watched your progress in battle, still, it just feels wrong to leave someone behind.”
Warriors was about to make a teasing comment about his unusual character, when Twilight jabbed at him, forcing the knight to bend over.
Time sighed as he watched the veteran so restless, drawing the attention back to him.
“Then the veteran stays back with Name.” The oldest sent a teasing smirk your way, which the others seemed to not notice, as he turned back to the rest of the group. “The rest of us will go as planned, Wild come with me, Warriors with Wind and Hyrule with Twilight. Get ready by the doors and make sure to come back before the time runs out.”
You prepared to start the mechanism of the dungeon, pulling the lever when the acting leader nodded. You and the veteran watched as they all disappeared into the passages, stone doors closing behind them as soon as they left, leaving the place you stood only barely lightened by the scarce torches lit around the walls.
The first wall to light up was the one in the right, where the traveller and ranch hand had disappeared into, both you and Legend walking up to it to take a closer look at the glowing blue scriptures.
“Only when the sun is lit, can the lost ones be found.”
It was easy enough, you looked around the room, soon finding a tile carved with the sun marking, Legend didn't think much before using the fire rod on it, the first pillar lightening up in blue, the form of a child carved into it.
The second wall lightened up, this time from Wars and Wind side.
“Only a cup of water can sate one's thrist.”
Sound of dripping water started to resonate around the room, the statue glow dimming as the child now bent over it's form, tears welling down the pillar. You took the bowl beneath it, already half full as you looked back at your partner, who pointed at the drying flower who bloomed among the stone path. You watered it, the flower blooming back to life, a golden key appearing between it's petals. The veteran didn't think much before picking it up, the second pillar lighting up with a garden.
As the third and last wall lightened up, the torches were blow off, all lights around the room turning from a soft blue to bloody red.
"A true warrior may carve it's path upon the enemies blood.”
Gears started to sound around the room, the torches blow off and the only light around now being the poor scriptures that barely let you count the fingers in your hands.
The child statue now stood as a imposing adult holding a sword, the tears that fell turning into a river of blood, and the garden pillar now turning into a fire caught wasteland.
A opening appeared on the ceiling, in which Keeses started pouring over like ants, Legend took the fire rod, knowing that with a single hit he could take at least a few of them down, however just as he was about to shot the magic, it died down altogether.
“What!?” He shouted exasperated, trying again in a futile attempt.
You looked at him, drawing your bow, hoping to even get a few down from how bad your eyesight got in the dark place.
He followed your example, grumpy about his malfunctioning item as he gripped onto his sword, taking down any that got too close to the floor.
As you were finally setting a rhythm, you started hearing a buzzing, looking into the hero direction the see the electro keese closing in on him.
“Vet!” You hand hooked at the hero tunic, all but throwing him to the other side, the monster reaching you as it's electric aura engulfed your body in an excruciating pain.
...
Or not. You blinked, looking up from your kneeling form, the hero running up to your side, as a disheveled mess, trying to look for injuries on your body, the red lights returning to a blue hue, and torches lighting back as the doors clinked open.
“But only true heroes won't think before saving a dear one.” The sailor voice sounded behind you, apparently reading the newly lightened wall who led you to the next room. “Whatever happened to the both of you here?” He asked, confused face as he stared at the both of you.
As you and Legend looked at each other face, clear confusion written all over it, the both of you nodded at each other.
“Nothing.”

Wildʼ
Wild could somehow feel the consequences of his actions catching up with him.
His hands tightened around your wrist, tugging you along with him as you ran from the lynel positively huffing like a bull as it ran behind you. He felt like this would be the feeling Twilight felt whenever he saw him running to do some things stupid.
Why did he just have to give in to your pleading eyes when you asked him to show you how to hunt a lynel?
He could see you stealing glances at the monster from the corner of his eyes, your figure pretty much laid back even when you knew — or at least he thought so — that thing could send you flying with a single hit.
When it's axe was lifted, you shifted to the side, pulling Wild out of its reach and almost sending the both of you colliding to the floor.
“I think I understand it now!” You shouted at him, blood pumping so hard from the adrenaline you almost couldn't hear yourself.
And with that, Wild felt a bad sense of premonition, his gut sinking as he recognizer that look on your face. The same look he had when he first tried to beat a lynel, before he was beaten half to death and ran back to formulate another plan, and while it was... well, different from the first, it certainly wasn't optimal.
He looked at you, face bewildered as he whisper shouted a “no”, hand tightening around yours as if he was the leash keeping a child from doing something idiotic, yet you only huffed and rolled your eyes.
“You do it, why can't I?” You whined and he considered begging for Twilight's forgiveness for every shit he put his mentor through. “Besides, you're here to help me, we can just retreat if you think it's getting too dangerous.”
He sighed, before pointing to the bottom of the hill, a large lake surrounding the area.
“If it get dangerous I'll use cryonis and we'll get out of here, no if's and but's, okay?” You grumbled out and his eyes thinned. “Okay?” He repeated himself.
“Okaaaay.” You drawled out, charging to the point he pointed, letting go of his hand as he attracted the lynel to he area.
It started fairly well, he attracted the monster to him while you shot it from the side, his bow trainings paying off as you hadn't hit the blonde man a single time yet. And hopefully you wouldn't for the rest of the battle.
Just as you were about to pull the last arrow, you saw the shining, massive axe in the hands of the lynel start flying towards your direction, the young hero quickly telling you to run towards the lake.
Your mind raced as you thought of your options, eyes flashing from Link's place near the lake to the weapon flying your way sickeningly fast, the bow dropping from your hand as you took the claymore strapped to your hip.
Wild's face dropped, heart sinking as he could already read your thoughts. Damned be the day he tried to teach you how to parry.
You waited. Waited. Wait... And then with a sharp, deafening sound the ginormous weapon was sent flying, it lasted less than a second, yet for you it seemed as if the world had stopped, you felt like you could understand, even if a little, when Wild talked about how the world seemed to slow down around him when he was battling.
Before you could turn to the hero to celebrate, you felt a heavy punch landing into the side of your head, sending you flying back, vision wavering.
He would have to teach you not to take your eyes off the enemies in battle it seemed, he sighed running up to finish dealing with the monster before you were too beaten up.
Tumblr media
Windʼ
It was just your luck.
The dungeon had separated the whole group, and while you weren't too worried about only you and Wind forming a duo, you were quite worried for whose world it was now.
All of the heroes eras were quite the catastrophe, however Time's was an utter mess, especially with the happenings of Majora Mask he had to deal while still a child.
You gritted your teeth, pulling the younger one beside you by the arm, as he whined something about being able to take them on.
“Look Wind, I know you're competent and all, I also understand that you know how to deal with them, however you have to understand that these are not the ReDeads from back at your world.” You pursed your lips as you heard their screeching approaching.
The young hero huffed, finally accompanying your steps on his own, instead of being dragged like dead weight.
“So, any plan?” His pout was very much visible, in your mind at least, as the corridors were dark enough for you to trip over your own feet sometimes.
“You betcha, sailor.” You only hoped it would actually work. “Think you could play a song right now?”
You could feel Wind's judgemental stare right through your skull, but when you did nothing but press him for an answer he giggled madly.
“I don't know what you're brewing up, but I hope it'll be fun.” The boy grabbed onto your hand, sprinting even faster, pulling you through some many doors and corridors of what you thought to be the correct path, until you could see a few barely visible flashs of light streaming down from the ceiling, the first room you had fallen into when you first entered the dungeon, the bars showing only enough for the both of you to see the shadow of your faces, giggling as if the monsters that followed you wouldn't just up and kill the both of you with as much as a single touch.
You quickly scampered further into the light, knowing it would only be enough to slow them down for a little, before you started talking lowly, not considering the earlier fits of laugh would be enough to alert all of the monsters around of your exact position.
“I assume you don't have your mirror with you.” The sailor nodded, almost rolling his eyes at the predictability, but before he could voice his complaints you continued. “But you wouldn't come without your wand, right?”
He now raised an eyebrow, mouthing an “Of course”, as you nodded to yourself.
“Let's pray that it counts as an magical instrument, get it and try to follow the music I'll hum to you.” You barely got him any chance to process before humming the Sun Song you'd grew so familiar over the time.
The boy just looked at you as if you were crazy, grabbing onto the item and hurriedly trying to follow along, a few tries in and the both of you huffed, patience running thin as a strew of curses fell from the boys lips, something you thanked the goddess above that the Hero of Time or the Hero of Twilight weren't there to see.
You groaned, exasperated, as the monsters were now only a few feet away from you both, you pressed him further up into the wall, fully covering his body from the monsters view, almost like a living bait, a thing he'd certainly nag at you later.
In the desperation you whistled the song, praying it was sufficiently in tune for him to relate to the sound of the wind he often listened to while on his journey.
“C'mon, three, three, five!” You prayed, a phantom touch at your neck sending chills down your spine as if sucking your life force, while you tried to whistle the tune again.
“Got it!” He exclaimed, a whirlwind forming around you both as the light shone even brighter above the both of you, almost like the salvation light, the wave of monster falling slowly with shrill screams, one you'd hope to never hear again.
You finally let go of his arms, body trembling so much you could only topple down as tears streamed down your cheeks, the bone chilling presence of their touch still very much vivid in you mind, as the younger one could only rub your shoulders soothingly, knowing full well you took most of the hits in order to keep him safe.
He sighed, resolved to let your actions slide this one time, with a tired smile.
“Thank you for trying to protect me, let's rest a little and then well go back to the others.” His voice was way less chirpier than usual, you nodded, leaning one against the other, finally able to get a breather under the warm light casted over the two of you.

Skyʼ
It was somewhat stupid, honestly.
You knew fully well that all of those men had full capacity to take over at least a dozen monsters more than you, without even breaking a sweat, no less, especially the local lazy eyed hero who seemed to enjoy his little naps a little more than it was healthy and just happened to take over a god all by himself.
You knew it, yes, but your stupid body decided to move before your brain could fully process what was even happening.
“Sky, that...” You lightly tugged at the hem of the skyloftian armor, eyes focused on the strange spikes fluctuating dangerously beside the hero.
The form seemed familiar, but you only were able to fully recognize it when little eyes peeked through the sand wasteland, the man beside you now standing in full alert as his eyes seemed to catch onto the same thing as you.
The whole group stopped, now looking back at the two of you, but as you tried to point towards the enemy to explain you wouldn't have to battle as long as you avoided it's vision, you could see from the corner of your eyes one of the more reckless from the group charge full on at the little monster.
“Wait, it'll explode!” Sky tried to warn, a little too late as it's body expanded, sending projectiles of poisonous darts around.
Thankfully Wild was quick enough to react a pull a shield to protect himself, and the others were far enough not to get in the way, however as both you and the Hero of the Skies were the one who stood closer to it, you had taken the full brunt of the blow, fully ducking the hero behind your form.
You gasped as you felt the thorns ripping through your flesh, the feeling way more painful than you had expected at first, tears prickling at the corner of your eyes as you all but hollered at Wild.
“Don't go touching it, you dumbass! Just blow it away!” You winced when the hero held in your arms moved to trace the sides of your wounds, a wince of his own sounding as he saw his bloodied gloves.
“Don't move, it'll hurt.” Sky voice was still collected, but you could see his eyes wavering a bit, knowing full well how terrible it was to receive one of these attacks head on, he sighed. “Why did you protect me? My armor was enough to take it.”
It was unusual to hear the usually so pacific hero grumbling around like that, but you could barely focus on that as you felt his hands making quick work of removing the most superficial ones from your skin, the scalding hot feeling of the poison in the open wounds soon melting off as Hyrule made a quick work of staying beside you to heal the wounds.
“I panicked, besides, if it was a black blooded monster, who knew what else he'd— shit! Do?” You felt your knees weakening, even as he held you upright, so you gave in to muffling a cry into his shoulder as he took off a particularly hard spike buried in the side of your waist.
“So you did this even considering it was a mutated monster?” You could feel he bit off another sigh. “Really, you're the only one reckless enough to throw yourself in to protect a hero.” He patted your head in a comforting touch to tell it was over. “But don't go thinking I'm not mad at you and Wild. The both of you should stop acting so recklessly already, it'll worry all of us.”
You could hear Wild whining off at some distance, as you held the urge to do the same, as you knew the boy could be as scary as Time if pushed far enough.

The short hero was quite used to be underestimated, and at first he thought you'd fall under the same category of people who judged his strength based on his height alone.
It was a pleasant surprise for him when he could finally notice your protectiveness came from a place of care, actually.
What wasn't pleasant, however, was how, no matter how much you knew that the hero was much stronger than you, you couldn't let go of this worrisome habit of always putting his safety and comfort before yours.
Especially now, where you, and the four parts of the little hero battled away against a wave of skulltulas, the monsters easy enough for you and the four heroes to tackle on, however their sheer amount was enough to give you a harder time dealing with them.
You sidestepped, back meeting with Green's, hearing him chuckle before branding his sword to the right, striking down two of the monsters with a single attack, you and Red joining hands so the smaller one could easily acess the weak spot of a specially tough one.
However, things seemed way messier at the other side, Blue and Violet having to deal with just as much as the three of you, while also sparing jabs at each other, harsh comments over the other clumsiness as they rashly brandished their sword, clearly tired of the long running battle.
“It doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.” You muttered, both of the man beside you nodding in agreement. “Should we just take off?” You offered, an instant disagreement falling from both Blue and Violet.
“If its a swarm this big, it could reach one of the nearby cities.” Red made an actual helpful comment, to which you sighed.
You held your tongue, knowing none of them would appreciate you making any comments about their far too heroic side, putting your focus back on the battle.
It didn't take much longer for the wave of Skulltulas to actually start to thin out and finally take the last one on. Tge five of you finally lowered you weapons, watching as the last of the enemies disappear in a black mist.
The only sound now being your heavy breathings and the rustling of the trees above you. You looked up, heaving a sight and watching as the leaves above your head danced from one side to another along with the wind, only now noticing a strange light, or actually, a lack thereof.
“Hey guys..?” You started, as they looked at you. “I guess i know why they were so mad at us now.” They followed your line of sight, a gasp sounding behind you, which you didn't bother naming whose it was.
A skulltula — if you could even call it that, at this point — hung over the trees, it's web big enough to cover a whole house, the monster only shying a little in question of size.
“Are you guys sure you still want to play hero?” Surprisingly, it wasn't you this time, but Violet.
You shook you head, already knowing their answers, as you hooked your fingers under your bow, pulling one arrow and readying to fire under their command.
“Well.... like it or not, we are heroes.” Blue stated, giving you the signal.
You shoot the arrow, the object hitting bullseye into one of the monster's eye, not that it was too difficult from it's sheer size.
With a thundering roar, it dropped down from it's web, the natural floor shaking under your feet as you stepped back to gain the distance advantage this time, the split hero standing in front of you to act like a bait.
The four of them each had gone to one side of the monster, as you made another clear shot, this time taking one of its hind leg, the blood spraying in a somewhat gruesome way you hadn't had the chance to notice when fighting the smaller one.
Just as you were about to shot another of its legs, you heard a groan, Blue falling to the ground as the monster charged into him. You gritted your teeth, lowering the bow as you pulled your sword from your waist and running up to him without a second thought, stopping in front of him, and parrying the oncoming attacks however you could as Blue still seemed disoriented from the fall.
What you didn't take into account was how heavy it's attack would be now that it had the added weight of it's sheer size, you lightly hissed when it's fang bit into your left shoulder, almost dropping the weapon out of reflex, but you clenched your jaw, forcing your fingers to remain flexed into the sword hilt, then thrusting it into the spider's many eyes when it finally let go of you, it's bug juice overflowing into you and your wound, only making it sting more.
Barely a few seconds after you could see the monster disappearing, as Violet and Green each cut one side of the monster, the skulltula disappearing into a black matter quickly as you heaved a sigh, the five of you finally regrouping into the center of the clearing.
“Did I already say that I hate spiders? Because if not, now I do.” Violet said, clearly disheartened at the whole ordeal, to which you only nodded in agreement.

“But, you have seen me as a dragon. Isn’t this a bit unfair?” Zhongli sipped his tea, hiding the sly provocation in his tone skilfully. Childe chuckled, “You’ve seen mine too!” It was true, Zhongli had witnessed Foul Legacy in its full glory many times during battle, but with Zhongli’s form they had also taken up some more interesting activities that strayed away from ‘combat’.
Zhongli hummed, “Yes, though I meant… up close.”
“Well I don’t think you’d enjoy it like that.”
“Why not?”
Childe scratched his head, trying to find a way to phrase it as delicately as possible, “Mine isn’t as adjustable as yours, it wouldn’t be so pleasant for you.” Given that Foul Legacy wasn’t a natural form like Zhongli’s, Childe had a harder time adapting the functions and sizes of each part whereas Zhongli was a master at manipulating harsh aspects of the body he had lived in for centuries.
“So you’re saying I can’t take it?” Zhongli smirked, he got up from his seat and placed his palms on the table, leaning over to Childe. Night was falling, the lively atmosphere of the mountains faded away minute by minute, trading the joyful serenity for a sinister domain, still calm but oddly mysterious.
“You shouldn’t tempt me on matters like this, Xiansheng.”
Zhongli’s amber pupils flashed through the darkness, “And what if I do?”
Childe fixed his posture to raise on his seat slightly, moving his face closer to Zhongli’s, “I can’t promise that you won’t get hurt.”
Zhongli wasn’t bothered by the drawback, he pressed his lips onto the harbinger’s, noticing how much he missed his warmth even in the few hours they had been sitting and chatting. Childe’s head tilted back, his lips inviting and comforting as they always were for his lover.
Zhongli pulled away, a thin string of saliva kept their lips in contact, “Ajax…” he pleaded, “ Please… ”
Childe involuntarily held his breath, attempting to ignore his pants tightening, a spark between his legs that begged to be fed and built into bright flames. Zhongli looked down on him, tracing his lips gently with his thumb. Childe struggled to speak, it was as if a reptile had him in a tight hold, evoking the unholiest of thoughts from deep within.
After a moment of consideration, Childe stood up and made his way over to the other side of the table, pulling Zhongli close by the waist. Zhongli’s tongue made its way inside his mouth once again, dipping out occasionally as Childe rid him of his clothes.
The layers pooled around their ankles, falling off one by one with a gentle thud. Childe nibbled on his neck, leaving a trail of kisses and bitemarks that turned the archon harder and harder on his thigh. “Are you absolutely sure about this?” he asked for the final time.
Zhongli petted his cheek gently, “I am. Go ahead.”
Childe nodded as he stepped away on the open field, floating off from the ground right before Zhongli’s eyes, his iridescent cape, claws and armor took formation as the mask pinned on his hair grew to replace the front part of his head.
Zhongli watched him in awe, though Foul Legacy was a killing machine, he could still see the faint form of Childe inside whenever he transformed. He waited in excitement as Childe slowly approached him and lifted him up with the ease of a teacup. One claw was enough to fully grab Zhongli by the waist like a doll.
Childe leaned back, gravity was no longer a concern for him, so he sat comfortably on an invisible seat and brought Zhongli’s naked body to his eye-level. Zhongli examined him, stunned and mesmerized by the beautiful sight as he sat inside Childe’s palm, legs hanging off from in between his thick fingers.
Zhongli always assumed Childe’s physical senses were more dulled in Foul Legacy, given that logically, it should be more durable to pain. But Childe could feel everything , the heat emitting from Zhongli’s body, his hardened cock rubbing down as precum already spilled off from the tip, even the way his hole quivered in excitement for Childe’s touch.
Zhongli leaned forward, slightly raising his hips before realizing that the claws would probably rip his insides apart in a matter of seconds. “Right.” he sighed, reaching back to stretch himself out on his own.
But the next thing he heard was a splash, accompanied by waves of water swirling in the air before two, thick ropes wrapped around his wrists. “Hey, what are you—” before he could realize what was happening, his arms were fixed to the sides in a strong grip. The limbs were clear, reflecting the moonlight, but they didn’t feel inanimate. Zhongli could feel slight movement in them, as if they were alive .
“It would be a shame if you were to fall over.” Childe explained, his distorted voice was awfully sinister. Zhongli had never seen him manipulate his elements into anything but weapons, he struggled experimentally, curious to find out how strong they would be, but it seemed impossible to escape their hold.
“How am I going to—Ah!” Zhongli was too invested in the sensation to notice a thicker and denser one creeping up against his hole. The cooling effect on his wrists was enhanced as the limb entered him with no warning and no mercy, reaching all the way inside and making Zhongli choke out.
Childe chuckled in delight, “This is simply a measure of safety, Xiansheng. Why does it excite you so much?”
Zhongli’s precum was pooling up into a small puddle as his pupils rolled back, it was a sudden intrusion that his mind couldn’t comprehend, yet his body was inevitably reacting to the waves of pleasure engulfing him.
Zhongli always associated intimacy with warmth, but now, a slimy, cold and reckless entity that he wouldn’t even go near under normal circumstances was filling him up in all the right ways, pushing into his prostate as its tip thinned out and thickened intermittently. He struggled to hold himself back, it felt beneath him to release under a ghost of water. The Geo Archon having the best orgasm of his life with the help of a Hydro tentacle, utterly shameful.
But Childe was as persistent as he was, altering the rhythm and pressure as he pleased, eliciting needy cries from Zhongli’s lips. “Don’t resist.” it sounded less like an order and more like a suggestion. Zhongli glared at him, enraged, “Then fuck me yourself.” he growled. Childe wasn’t fazed by his anger in the slightest, “Not yet.”
The bright glow disappeared from Zhongli’s eyes and reignited again in unorganized cycles, lacking stability and control as he struggled to stand his ground. “You’re gonna make me drag it out?” Childe quipped, another tentacle had already wrapped itself around Zhongli’s cock, it was actually a soothing sensation that helped him cool off momentarily before it started pumping him up and down.
Zhongli shrieked, failing to fight any longer as cum spurted out of his tip, with every spasm of his hips his eyes shut tightly, chest heaving with the immense climax still rippling through his body.
Zhongli collapsed over the harbinger’s palm the second his wrists went unbound, Childe’s claws wrapped around him while his index brushed through Zhongli’s disheveled hair. The archon clung onto his thumb weakly, arms sore from being suspended high up for so long.
Childe brought him closer to his groin and Zhongli was quick to latch on the fabric and the armor, exposing the ‘skin’ underneath with his slender fingers. Though the human flesh was mostly disguised, Zhongli could identify faint sights of Childe’s skin color, now concealed by dark blue and purple veins traveling along his length.
His eyes widened with excitement and slight worry, Childe couldn’t help but chuckle at his state, “It’s okay, I don’t expect you to take all of it.”
Zhongli held his cock in between his thighs, gasping lightly as the tip brushed against his hole. He squeezed his legs together, feeling every vein and curve press into the sensitive skin of his inner-thighs.
“I will.” Zhongli breathed out, he felt infatuated and intoxicated, beginning to slide forward and back over the shaft almost involuntarily, “I…” a whimper escaped his lips, “...want all of you, Ajax.”
Childe was more than satisfied with the answer, his fingers wrapped around the archon, lining him on his tip and pushing him down slowly. Tears pooled around Zhongli’s eyes with the stretch, then began to stream down his face as Childe impaled him on his cock viciously.
He stopped halfway, giving Zhongli a moment to breathe while adjusting his grip. The archon was panting, digging his nails into Childe’s finger in an attempt to ease the strain, though it wasn’t doing much to alleviate his agony.
Childe began to slide him down once again, Zhongli had never felt more stretched out in his life, it felt like his hip bones were about to shatter, like his insides were being torn apart with every inch. Golden-brown markings painted over his arms and his chest as he fought to remain in his human form.
Childe noticed the growing fangs through Zhongli’s open-mouthed moans, the golden stripes starting to glow as well as his pupils. “A mortal body is terribly fragile, don’t you think?” he teased the archon, “It would be much easier if you transformed.”
Zhongli spat out the saliva building up on his throat, “Don’t—want to.” he exhaled sharply through his nose. Surely, he could give in to his body’s command, it was only trying to help Zhongli survive, but he refused to give up the extraordinary feeling, being at the mercy of a ferocious beast that satisfied him to such an extent that Zhongli cried, squirmed and whimpered for more.
No, he definitely wouldn’t trade it for the biological accommodations his body was trying to undergo.
Childe hissed as he lifted Zhongli all the way up and slammed him down again, reveling in the warmth of his walls hugging him. Zhongli screamed with every thrust, overwhelmed by the lust and rapture that ate away at his mind.
Through the eyes of Foul Legacy, Childe no longer had friends or foes, everything within his sight was merely prey . Zhongli, however, was embedded into Childe’s brain so deeply that no matter how many layers of his consciousness were peeled away, he would always be there.
A being that Childe must protect, cherish and worship until his very last breath. A monster like him, only cut from a different cloth.
His claws hugged the weakened, frail body of the archon even tighter than before in order to maintain his position. The sharp tips scraped along his skin as thin streams of blood ran along, painting the ground below crimson red. Zhongli’s legs and arms gave out fully as his mind steered through the same fate as his flesh, merely hanging by a thread.
He was starting to have a hard time pinpointing where one orgasm ended and another one began, instead it felt like being milked, drained out until there was nothing left. As if Childe wanted all of it spilling out for himself and no one else.
Zhongli couldn’t even lift his neck to look at him, the harbinger used the knuckle of his other hand to lift it up for him, gazing into the sparkling pupils that exuded exhaustion. “You’re doing exceptionally well today, Xiansheng, way beyond my expectations.” he praised, “Maybe I should reward you, hm?”
Zhongli nodded frantically as he slobbered like a dog, unable to utter even a single syllable. Childe was amused watching how pathetic and miserable Zhongli was for him. He parted his lips, letting out his tongue, Zhongli didn’t even know he had one in Foul Legacy, though it was a lot different than a human tongue, much longer and frolic.
It reached all the way to Zhongli’s lips with ease, mimicking the ludic movements of a snake as it slithered inside. Though the tip of it was slim, the more Childe pushed it down Zhongli’s throat, the harder it became to breathe for the archon.
It penetrated him deep, dripping saliva all the way down and blocking his airway with steady thrusts. Zhongli’s moans were muffled, vibrating all over Childe’s tongue as the harbinger explored further. It wasn’t so much of a kiss as it was Childe quite literally fucking his throat.
Zhongli struggled to breathe through his nose, the harbinger’s movements were growing sloppy, his tongue remained stuffed inside Zhongli as he jacked him up and down a few more times before releasing with a growl.
It was a terrifying amount, not only filling Zhongli up but also splattering all over his body and even leaking down to the ground. Childe’s body contracted and released, squeezing Zhongli at the same pace along with it until he was finally all out.
He retracted his tongue and slid the archon off, laying him down on the grass carefully. Zhongli couldn’t keep his eyes open any longer, he pressed his palms down on the grass, eventually feeling footsteps approach him.
Childe knelt by his side, running his fingers along the archon’s hair coated by cum, blood, sweat and saliva. Zhongli could only open his eyes halfway, but the familiar sight of his Ajax was comforting enough to form a weak smile over his lips.
Childe smiled down on him, pressing kisses all over his face and hands, showering his beloved with affection and gratitude.

My DCCU: Character Essay - Mr. Mxyzptlk
So...did you see the last episode of MAWS?
Tumblr media
I just wrote an essay discussing this series, and without making you read that (although here it is if you wanna), let's just say I love almost everything about it, but the villains have me...nervous. Which, yeah, not exactly a unique take on the series, critically speaking. It is, in fact, the most common refrain about the series amongst Superman fans.
Tumblr media
Now, since then, to be fair, we've gotten some very promising characters make their debut, or becoming more prominent. Task Force X - which includes Amanda Waller, the General (who's gotta be Sam Lane, but may also take some inspiration from Wade Eiling; time'll tell on that one, though), and a very cool super-armored version of Deathstroke - are our main antagonists, and I'm excited to see what comes out of them. Their former associates, power couple Brain and Monseiur Mallah (who are also gay in the comics, if you didn't know) are a more sympathetic turn on the characters, but quite satisfying in this form.
But no, there's only one real reason I'm making this post. And that is of course, the villain featured in the most recent episode, as of me writing this post. He's already up above, so let's just get into it.
Tumblr media
Fun fact about me: I love a lot of Superman villains, but of all of them, my absolute favorite is Mr. Mxyzptlk. He's a mischief-making, chaos-loving, harmless and harmful menace from the 5th dimension, who obeys no laws of the dimensions below. The origin of legends, past and present, of genies, leprechauns, fey, and imps that tease men with ill-fated wishes. An all-powerful being disguised as a man dressed in a funny little hat.
Mr. Mxyzptlk is the Robin Goodfellow of Superman's world. He appears to amuse himself, no matter the cost to the Man of Steel's day. Usually, you can send him back via making him say his own name backwards, but that's just one of the rules to Mxy's games. And make no mistake, that's what they are: games. Mr. Mxyzptlk has played on the side of angels and devils, and he really only cares about his own amusement. And his relationship with Superman, varied as it can be, helps to fuel his morality.
Tumblr media
I could bring up the character's live-action appearances (which are notable in their own right), but those are mostly afraid to really go for it. The closest to the original character would be Michael J. Pollard's version in Superboy, a mostly forgotten series from the late'80s, and a version that actually wears the comic book outfit. There's also the Supergirl version, which was notable, and played by Peter Gadiot and Thomas Lemmon; and there's the version played by Howie Mandel (yes, really) in Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman in the '90s, which is a more evil but passable version of the character. Oh, and the Smallville version? Yeah, absolutely doesn't count. If you want a true adaptation for Mxy, you gotta go animated.
Tumblr media
The most iconic adaptation of this character was portrayed by the late, great Gilbert Gottfried in Superman: The Animated Series. Now, I say the most iconic, but that's probably a bit biased on my part. In my opinion, this is the most fun and accurate version we've seen of the character, taking from his original design for inspiration. An annoying imp that appears every three months, his debut episode in the series, Mxyzpixillated, is one of my favorite episodes of the series, and goes balls-to-the-wall wacky, as you should with Mxyzptlk.
The character had only a few more appearances in the series after his first, but Gottfried's performance was so memorable, he was brought back for multiple incarnations, including the video game DC Universe Online, and the more recent animated series Justice League Action, which would be one of Gottfried's last performances, and therefore his last appearance as the character. He'll be sorely missed for a number of reasons, but the voice he gave to the imp is never going to leave me.
Tumblr media
Which brings me to the version of the character we see in MAWS. And yeah, this is obviously a VERY different version of the character, appearance-wise. Outside of the orange and purple color scheme and one other exception, this version has no design similarities with any version of Mxyzptlk, and is obviously very anime-inspired, as is the entire series. I mean, for Chrissakes, the title of the episode is a reference to Ouran High School Host Club. They knew what they were doing.
Tumblr media
We meet Mxyzptlk in the middle of a heist, and he already shows his power and prowess by tricking Clark immediately. Amongst a bunch of fantastic DCU references, and a lot of multiverse talk, we eventually stumble upon his actual goal: the reclamation of an ancient artifact stolen from him by the League of Lois Lanes. And that artifact is...his hat. THE hat. And lemme tell ya, I was overjoyed to see that stupid little bowler.
Once he gets it, we get a glimpse of true Mxyzptlk power, as he goes full chaos lord on us. He's eventually defeated through trickery with portals, and NOT through the backwards name gambit. And even then, he's not actually defeated, and returns in the end to annoy his new target: Lois Lane. Yeah. He's haunting LOIS, not Clark. And honestly, I'm...very intrigued.
Tumblr media
This Mxyzptlk is, honestly, a faithful version of the character, straight-up. Sure, there are elements missing, and the outfit is completely different, but he also sort of looks like you'd expect an imp or genie to look. Like Alan Moore said in Whatever Happened to the Man of Steel?, why should an extradimensional imp look like a little man in a suit and funny little bowler? I think this works, honestly.
I'm also excited to see him in the future of the series, and see what they do with the character as a result. Mxyzptlk is, as I said earlier, one of my favorites, whether he helps or hurts the Man of Tomorrow. And if I had one complaint, it's that I want him to go wackier. Like, CRAZY. Watch his appearances in Superman: The Animated Series if you haven't, and you'll see what I mean. The potential is quite literally unlimited when it comes to the fifth dimension imp.
But if that's the case...what would I do with Mxyzptlk in my DCCU?
Tumblr media
Mr. Mxyzptlk in My DCCU
I would do...not much more than Easter eggs at first. Look, I love Mxyzptlk, but having him as a character in a film or film series is extremely tricky. But instead, Mxyzptlk is both a seen and unseen force in my DCCU, hovering around Superman's world without actually interfering in it directly. Not exactly his bag, I know, but it's a good way to get him to work in a film series. Essentially, I'm turning him into a background character in the first and second films, to be noticed by only the most observant. Disguised as other characters, maybe making odd gestures every now and then as if to manipulate things around him. The ultimate Easter egg character, basically. Until, possibly the very end of the second, or even the third film in the franchise.
Fast forward to the second film's post-credit scene.
Tumblr media
A poker game is being played, but we're table level. All we see are the hands and the cards, which get increasingly stranger as the game goes on. Three voices are speaking, and we get the immediate idea that these people are watching our heroes. Eventually, a fourth voice juts in, and we also find out that a fifth one of them has been invited, but chose not to attend. Finally, we pan up, and we see...some dude.
This guy, whoever they are, should've been a face we've seen in the first and second films, usually hanging around the Daily Planet, but also around Metropolis. In fact, they should be visible in every conflict or battle seen in the films thus far. As we look at the others, we should see similar figures that've appeared in Batman, Wonder Woman, and Flash films that've come put by this point. All extras, and all watching our heroes. In fact, it'd be great if the Flash-focused person hasn't appeared yet, because the Flash's film releases after this one.
Tumblr media
Finally, as we pan back around to the Superman-focused character, who is smoking a cigar, the conversation turns to what's coming. Mxyzptlk is aware of what's coming for Superman, but the rest refer to "the first Crisis". Mxyzptlk sort of brushes it off, even as they're saying things that hint at the first big even film to come in the DCCU. And these should be vague yet intriguing clues to this event. But Mxyzptlk insists that his guy'll be prepared, and that he has a lot of money riding on that outcome. With that, the mysterious figure looks directly at the camera.
Tumblr media
Yeah, realizing that we're peering in on the game, he probably berates the nerds in the audience for knowing who he is without it being said (possibly by turning into a more comic-accurate version of himself) , then confirms that he'll be back in the next one, but not as the big threat. Maybe he'll be there to help, maybe not; depends on his mood that day. After a few more snarky remarks, he gives us a look and tells us to buzz off. We may even get a glimpse at the other imps in the room, those being Bat-Mite, Wondermite, and Mopee. And with that, he snaps his fingers, and the film ends officially.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I basically pulled an Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to bring in Mxyzptlk. And, since that scene is one of the best of the film, I don't think that's a problem! In the next film, we know what Mxyzptlk's identity looks like, and he may even give us a wave from the background in his first appearance in the next film. He won't interfere directly, but in the last post-credits scene of this trilogy, he'll finally get caught by Superman. Over time, Superman's had some experience with magic users, probably via Wonder Woman. And magic, in my universe, has a distinctive smell of some kind.
Knowing that Mxyzptlk's been watching him throughout the films, Clark finally confronts him on it, and asks what he wants. And Mxyzptlk actually replies and shows himself, explaining that the battles to come are pretty intense. He won't help or harm, but he just wanted to give a heads-up, mostly because it's fun. With that and a bit more conversation, Mxyzptlk leaves having given this ominous warning.
Tumblr media
Does he return? Maybe during a Crisis on Infinite Earths movie, maybe in the Darkseid-based Justice League film to come, who knows? This version of the character is basically a Watcher, maybe throwing in some fun chaos here and there. It's sort of hard to add Mxyzptlk into a film series, because he's not a plotter. He's an all-powerful one-off character who, were he to be introduced as a genuine threat to the films, could just kill Superman immediately. It wouldn't make sense. So, make him neutrally bent, and keep him as a fun Easter egg character.
That take may be disappointing to some, but...like, c'mon, guys, he's a pretty big gun. Having him as the ultimate threat of a film also wouldn't make it very fun, because we don't want to see him get killed, but he also can't really win. It'd just be unsatisfying. I like the idea of making him this greater, scarier presence, while also making all of the imps these all-powerful observant beings that watch over our plane with fascination and/or reverence. And maybe, just maybe, we can squeeze some mischief in there somewhere.
Any other ideas on how you would introduce Mr. Mxyzptlk to a cinematic universe (if you should at all)? Reblog! Comment! I'm extremely curious, frankly. This was one of, like, three ideas I had, but the one I thought worked best.
And if you liked this, check out my other Superman essays here!

What exactly is Cesp? Is he some sort of Alien or Animal-like reptile? (Also if he is the snail guy with the purple cap the same size as a normal snail? Because if so I want him as a friend <3)
Oh it's a long one. If we talking species-wise. Cesp is an alien from my personal species. His kind named 'Ditore'.
And let me tell you this, not the one you'd rather meet.
Their basic decription is often found as 'parasites'. But in full it's:
A highly adaptive and advanced form of alien life that represents both cat and reptile. They specialize in military technology and the conduct of long-term protracted wars.
The whole species is famous for seizing entire planets for its colonies with extreme cruelty. They also destroy any natural habitat of their colonies in order to remake it in their own way. In particular, some species are abandoned and then bred on an industrial scale, sometimes as labor, but mainly as live feed. Yes, even other intelligent species get here.
They are difficult to kill, because of their durable skin and natural armor(not to speak that they have technologies and armour). And due to the fact that representatives of each colony adapt to the environment, they acquire different traits.
So, for example, Cesp is from a colony on a volcanic planet and is able not only to tolerate high temperatures, but also to raise the temperature of its own body (but this does not pass without consequences).
I'll stop my rambling here.
Have a size comparison between average ditore, Cesp and normal human.

One Mando'a to rule them all ...
Ni me'dinui nuhun! Just kidding!
@ranahan lamented:
Honestly I wish Mando’a had some sort of a community for dictionary & grammar building, where people could communally vote and choose which words to adopt and/or how to adapt/change them. Because a word is no good whatsoever if nobody wants to adopt and use it.
(In the comments of this post: https://www.tumblr.com/ranahan/737237603889397760/sen-fly)
TL;DR
Most people support their own version of Mando'a, which they DO USE — in their fan fiction. So pick a dialect (could be your own!) and put your efforts toward expanding and promoting it. The poll feature of Tumblr is a handy tool to get quick insight from folks in this community who follow whatever tags you include. Should you want recommendations for communities were Mando'a is used somewhat regularly, keep reading.
A few major dialects and discussion places
Here are a few place if you want to support someone else's version of Mando'a or want a place to throw out ideas and get feedback that's easier to follow than reblogs and replies on Tumblr posts. (Downside to Discord vs. Tumblr: At least if you post something on Tumblr, people can "like" or reblog with only tags; on Discord, the engagement is short-lived if at all.)
I'll start off with mentioning someone who is collecting all the fanon that the person can find. I don't know if there are any parameters on what will be included, but the person seemed to appreciate my document of badly formatted links to fanon. This dictionary starts with one of the popular Tal'jair spreadsheets from forums.mandoa.org and adds to it. Contact information is on the website. https://peltigaan.neocities.org/
Mandoa.ru has a private supporting team. The website features Tal'jair's own expansion effort. (Yes, that Tal'jair.) The group primarily speaks Russian, but the members have a pretty good command of English. Contact them on their site to find out how you can support them. I am not in any public server with them.
MandoCreator.com has a submission form and a consulting team of a handful of people who each have been working with Mando'a for a couple of years at least. Periodically, the dictionary programmer offers words for discussion, and the team makes their recommendations based on whether the words are necessary (can some other word or phrase work equally well?), consistent with the in-universe culture, constructed logically with regards to the construction of existing words, and sound as if they belong with the base dictionary. The programmer sometimes further modifies the definitions of the recommendations. The dictionary is updated a couple times a year. Few people use or discuss the language in the associated Discord, which people primarily use to discuss the main feature of the MandoCreator site, its amazing Mandalorian armor designer. The dictionary's useful features and link from mandoa.org are likely to improve its popularity. Submission form is here: https://forms.gle/x2aSDCD5vCspG5cz9. Discord invite: https://discord.gg/u8vnVrj55e
Project Shereshoy is a Mando realism server that has run a couple of events supporting the MandoCreator dictionary. Occasionally, discussions of possible new words crop up, but most people are the there for the scenery. The programmer of the MC dictionary is also a PS mod. I included it as a place to discuss MC expansion efforts, if you like that dialect. Discord invite: https://discord.gg/ruU36wD3KK
You've probably seen me mention the Oyu'baat a few times, so I'll talk about that dialect, too. This is another Mando realism server, older than PS, which started life as one of two Discord servers created to support mandoa.org. This is the server that thrived. The team of the Oyu'baat overlaps with the MC support team and generally follows the MandoCreator dictionary, plus has a few of its own additions. Most word-creation discussion is on a private server due to difficulties with casual language users getting confused or frustrated with nitty-gritty discussions, or offering ideas that show a lack of understanding of what already exists. Getting on the language team requires demonstrating a deep understanding and support of the Oyu'baat's dialect as it currently exists, which has stricter word-formation and grammar rules than almost any other server. Message me if you want the link.
The SW Conlang Discord is good for exploring options, but they don't support one dialect. In fact, they promote creating dialects tailored to the stories authors want to write. Message me for a temporary invite.
I'm in a few other Mando-themed servers, but those have even less Mando'a discussion in them. There are more out servers and groups out there that I know nothing about, particularly since I don't follow fan fiction. I'm sure if someone has recommendations, they'll pipe up in a reply or reblog.
My preferences
As for my design philosophy and the version of Mando'a that I support: If I wanted a complicated language, I'd take up French again or turn to another of the hundreds or thousands of languages that exist on this planet. But I haven't, because I'm intrigued by the limitedness and relative simplicity of Mando'a. I see Mando'a as a logic puzzle and try to deduce its grammar and word-formation rules based on the clues given in the base dictionary, grammar guide, and source examples. I turn to real-word languages as a last resort. My intention is not to create a new conlang inspired by what the original author did, but to expand what's already using internally consistent logic. Having said that, as a side effect of plumbing the depths of this conlang, I eventually started designing my own version of the language, with updated spellings and revised pronunciations for existing words and a slew of new fanon words. For now, I primarily keep it to myself and stick to MandoCreator and mandoa.org when interacting with others.
Well ... I'm sure I missed something and got off track somewhere. Feel free ask for clarification on anything.

Ahahaaaa Marginnnn!!!
I read your high fantasy Star Wars fic and it’s so goooodddd!! Like the flowery writing (the good kind of flowery) is so pretty and elegant and I feel like there’s a word for it I’m missing but anyways YES
it’s the kind of stuff I’d read when i feel sad or smth bc it’s so comforting and pretty
but anyways XD
I’m curious where you’re planning to take it in the future? Perchance? Also I really wanna draw one of your characters for it but I can’t decide so which one would you want me to draw?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
EVIE THIS IS ACTUALLY MAKING MY DAY. THANK YOU SO MUCH YOUR COMPLIMENTS ARE MAKING ME CRY (IN A GOOD WAY OFC)
Okay okay SO. I am currently planning on finishing the Heroforge Series (and, MIRACULOUSLY, I'm like 80% done with it! Joy!), drawing- a LOT- and writing this fic, which will adapt the Prequels, The Clone Wars, Rebels, and the Original Trilogy. I might do a few spin-offs of the other series (such as TBB, when I actually start watching it, and maybe The Mandalorian/The Book of Boba Fett/Ahsoka) as well. And also, in addition to this fic, I will be writing three other fics that will be more like reference books or bestiaries and will go with it to form an anthology: one will be about the peoples of the Galactic Archipelago, another will be its geography, and the last one will be kind of a lives-of-the-saints-esque book of character biographies. And then I'll just, y'know, mess around and have fun and do random things. I might do a thing where I let people send in-universe asks for the characters, because I always thought those were fun :)
OKAY for characters to draw- well, I am always down for My Boys The Clones (TM) and also Ahsoka, because she holds a special place in my heart as she was the first character I designed for the AU. But also the Clones have really complicated armor designs so if you're a little intimidated by that I totally get it :) (oh speaking of that. i might put out a helmet reference for each one because you can only do so much on heroforge to replicate their helmet designs. anyway long story short if you do end up drawing them and want to draw them helmeted the gist of it is that they all keep their canon helmet designs just fanagled to fit a crusader's greathelm)
You're the best, Evie. You're the greatest :D

i ranked the wizards
on combat ability, mental stability, and currently available content. why? cuz i was bored and those categories seemed fun/doable. top of list is most, bottom of list is least. i’m not trying to set some kind of fanon rules here, nor am i claiming to be an expert on what content exists out there. this is just my personal take. rank the wizards yourself if you want, however you want.
=Combat Ability=
Wizardmon x
+ went back to school for a phd in ass-kicking (fire magic)
+ Has evolved beyond the need for wands/staves
+ ‘Quantum’ magic
+ Can freely traverse dimensions at will
+ X evolution means inherently stronger than base version
Flame wizardmon
+ Double the wands, double the power
+ Armor evolution means inherently stronger than base version
+ Courage based armor evolution means intense aggression, less cautious
- hasn’t been shown to have any healing/defensive abilities
+ Out of the 3 animations he’s been in, only died in the one where he was just a background character (tho he was defeated in the other two, he lived)
Wizardmon (classic)
- Basic wizardmon, nothing fancy
+ Has two masters degrees (fire being best at attack, and earth being best at defense)
+ Has been shown to have greater power than the average champion/adult digimon
+ Has been shown with ultimate/perfect level wards/shields and cure/healing spells
- Died after 1-3 episodes of the anime but cheated death in two mangas
Sorcerymon
- Just a wizardmon recolor
- Died in his debut episode without doing much
- Focuses on water and healing spells, no notable offensive or defensive abilities
- Really just a support guy/healer, not a fighter
=Mental Stability=
Wizardmon (classic)
+ Shown to be very pragmatic, even in dire circumstances, and highly resistant towards torture and emotional goading/baiting
+ Has been through some pretty crazy shit (traveling through multiple dimensions, being reformatted, and dying) but maintains a cheerful, calm demeanor without being unrealistically optimistic
+ Loyal, determined, but also flexible and adaptable
Sorcerymon
+ Similar personality to basic wizardmon due to just being a recolor
+ Water element lends itself to calmness and gentleness
- Alas the above is at odds with digimon’s natural tendency towards violence, and he kinda cracked under the pressure when the person he devoted himself to died
- If you’ve ever been healer/support in a multiplayer game, you know this guy’s a little crazy
Wizardmon x
+ Technically very similar to basic wizardmon, just with an x antibody, but
- In all TWO of his official images, he is grinning maniacally, very unlike his base form
- What kind of sane wizard would go hand-to-hand instead of using a safety stopgap like a wand or staff (yes i’m looking at you, witchmon, we all know you crazy)
Flame wizardmon
- Genuinely just enjoys violence and screaming
- Is just casually on fire pretty much all the time
- Dual-wielding wands is pretty crazy imo
- In one of his anime debuts he was stealing people’s hutzpah, in the other he worked for a literal clown
=Content available=
Wizardmon (classic)
+ Plays a major role in two episodes in the original season, and has a cameo appearance in the second and fourth seasons, as well as the tri movies
+ Plays a major role in both the xros wars and dreamers manga series’
+ Had an official plushie
+ Had an official figurine and is about to have another one
+ Is somewhat regularly featured in promotional art and has some bonus concept doodles aside from his reference book image
+ Is in most if not all of the games in some form
+ Has quite a few digimon cards, both the original japanese AND the new english ones + Is tagged over 500 times on pixiv
Flame wizardmon
- Has no official art aside from his reference images
+ Appears only in two basic virtual pets and has a single japanese card
+ Appears as a main character in one episode of both xros wars and ghost game, as well as a background character in the frontiers movie
- tagged almost 30 times on pixiv
Sorcerymon
+ Plays a major role in two episodes of frontiers, the fourth season of the anime
- Has one official image that isn’t just a recolor of wizardmon’s own images
+ Appears in a fair number of videogames but has no playable cards
- Tagged almost 30 times on pixiv
Wizardmon x
- Has no official art aside from his reference image and its sketch
- Has a single english card and appears in one virtual pet device
+ Supposedly appears briefly in a story meant to promote the above virtual pet?
- Tagged only five times on pixiv

I saw your post about Mandalorian and helmets and you mentioned the way they "clap" with their armor and thank you for pointing it out because I thought it was such a cool detail like yeah of course the people who wear thick gloves can't clap, let them bang their armor instead ! And I have so many feelings about the helmet kiss, the softness of it all, the intimacy ?? Also I hope your ramadan is going well!!
YES yes hello and i just LOVE talking about the adaptations of the warrior mandalorians and how much of the culture we get to explore.
i think it is so cool that mandalorians clap or cheer by banging their armor. i’ve never thought of the gloves restricting them from clapping before, so THANK YOU for telling me this, that’s actually so interesting. when i watched the episode when the mandalorians started cheering by banging their vambraces, i was quite literally blown away. i was hopeful to learn more about mandalorian culture and we got to see such a specific type of form of expression and affection that they’ve adapted to because of their armor. it’s really fascinating to see that type of thing, and i definitely want to see more ways they express themselves.
i’ve talked with a mutual about how mandalorians must have an entire form of a love language since they can’t express in the ways others can. obviously, there’s the keldabe kiss which is absolutely beautiful with how intimate it is and how valued it is and how it’s equivalent to different types of expressions of love considering on the context. my mutual also mentioned that mandalorians probably memorize the sound of their clan’s footsteps to know when they enter/who they are, in and outside of the armor which to me is SO romantic to think about. like they’ve developed an entire love language out of these conditions they live by and seeing how they express that is just the most interesting thing i’ve seen in recent star wars media.
one thing about mandalorian culture that i adore is their commitment to family/clan/their community that they depend on. and one thing that i think is fascinating about this is how they’ve adapted to accept foundlings even outside of blood relations. to them, blood relations mean nothing, and they treat all their foundlings in the highest regard, blood related or not. obviously having biological children would be very difficult while armored, and so their priorities have changed from caring about just blood related foundlings to caring about ALL foundlings in their clan/covert. they’ve developed a whole ADOPTION RITUAL for clan to value their foundlings and prove their commitment towards the foundlings and i think that it’s just so romantic in all types of ways to have that type of cultural influence.
another piece of mandalorian culture are the marriage vows. all they have to say are the vows and BAM you’re done. AND it’s implied that it’s supposed to be done in private and away from other eyes. i like to think that was developed because of, again, mandalorians commitment to clan and how they don’t need to show off, and to prove that their clan is important to them. the marriage vows are intimate and small and quick, no need for others to be there because they don’t matter. just this bond between lovers.
moving forward, i hope to see more physical adaptations, like the clapping and keldabe kiss, but it’s lovely to think about all the other ways they’ve developed forms of expression through their armor.
THANK YOU for sending me an ask, i just LOVE talking about these kinds of things. and thank you! ramadan is beating me violently with a stick 👍 but i’ll be okay. have a lovely ramadan as well!!

Gale’s Top 10: Anime abilities/powers/ Techniques I want in real life
Rules.
1. It has to be from an anime. It can’t be from a manga with no anime adaption. If the manga has an anime adaptation BUT hasn’t gotten to that part where the power has been animated. It doesn’t count. Video games count as long as they have an anime adaption/counterpart
2. I will be give access to everything needed to make the technique/power/ability to work. Example: If I need Ki to do a technique, I will have enough to use it.
3. One per anime.
4. I will try to change up the abilities but there may be some similarities.
_________________________________________________________
10. Zoom (Dragonquest: The adventure’s of Dai)
Tumblr media
Now for the uninitiated with Dragon quest and this anime, you might be thinking. What the f*** is zoom?
Well it’s basically the fusion of Flight and teleportation.
Using magic the user can picture a place in their mind, and if there isn’t some sort of magic barrier preventing them from leaving, or a roof. They can ‘Zoom’ / Teleport there almost instantly.
There is a variant of it called Telezoom, allowing the user to basically fly around. I love the ability because it makes it so I don’t have to choose between flight or teleportation. I can choose both. As long as I focus I can use it, also it takes very little magic to use (in the games it’s zero, but in the anime it’s a bit). It’s basically the near perfect spell. But the only downside is I can’t be indoors to use the teleport part. But I can still fly.
9. Koro’s Super speed (Assassination Classroom)
Tumblr media
Yes there are other characters that are faster. Mach 20 doesn’t even seem that fast in terms of speed.
But I specifically said Koro’s sensei’s speed for 1 purpose. His speed isn’t just foot speed. It’s reaction speed, flight speed, even cognitive speed. He’s able to read, write, process, craft and move at Mach 20 to put it into perspective. 20x the speed of sound. That’s 15,345.4 miles per hour. 22,506.6 feet per second. Basically 4 miles in a second.
He’s so fast he can create after images of himself without issue. Plus if I have his speed, while I won’t have his tentacles, I will have rather dexterous hands and feet. I can travel to Japan in a half hour.
So yea, that reflex speed and cognitive speed would be amazing.
8. Conqueror’s Haki (One Piece)
Tumblr media
Now you’re probably thinking, WHY this Haki? Why not observation Haki? Or why not a devil fruit that’s OP. Well my inquisitive individual. Allow me to explain
Conqueror’s Haki or Haoshoku Haki is a rare form of Haki that lets the user Exert their will power as a weapon. Just having it means you are incredible leader and harbor a grand ambition. It’s not something that is given.
But let’s start with the basics, the most basic form can cause a pulse of will power that can knock out anyone with a lesser will. Which is pretty dope. And it won’t hurt anyone you consider an ally.
Conqueror’s Haki can be so strong it can destroy buildings, crush ships, obliterate Islands just from clashes of Conqueror’s Haki can cause the sky to split. It can even be shot miles away at a target if you know they are there. As a way to scare them
What’s more, users of this brand of Haki can coat their bodies like armorment Haki making physical attacks stronger, bodies more durable. It also increases your mental resistances. You can also block people from trying to predict the future with Haki.
Main reason I want it, is because it’s badass.
7. Shadow Clone Jutsu (Naruto)
Tumblr media
The best jutsu to have in real life. Letting the user make copies of himself. Sure, Teleportation and Flight are cool. Sure super speed can make is appear as if you are everywhere at once, but clones with your mental acuity and can act on your will are the best. It is better than others because you don’t need to worry about them being turned against you, and one hit can make em poof.
But the main thing with shadow clones is that you can use them to learn something. You just need to poof them after and ALL the experience they gained is yours. It’s super overpowered.
I would have loved this power in college. Take a 5 classes at the same time slot and have copies in each.
I won’t even need 1000’s of clones. Just 5 would be perfect. Heck even making one is fine.
6. Eyes of the Lord (Record of Ragnarok)
Tumblr media
Imagine you watch someone do a cool trick on a skateboard and think “Wow that’s cool wish I could do that.”
Now imagine you went over, took the skateboard and performed that exact same trick EXACTLY as that person did.
That’s the power of the Eyes of the Lord.
Taking humans ability to take something and copy it perfectly.
Now I know what you’re thinking? “Why not SHARIGAN ? You can do that and more!” Well to you I say. Watch more anime beside Naruto. Because this ability is so much more than that.
These eyes are so capable, they can process stuff that happen INSTANTANEOUSLY, and your body reacts just as quickly.
Zeus used an attack that was said to be instant, and Adam not only reacted to it, he copied it and used it against him BEFORE he even finished the attack!
Now it’s said it doesn’t just copy techniques, but skills as well.
I can watch someone draw and be able to draw at that level. I could see someone program a complex algorithm and be able to type it up easily and even figure out before he finishes what it’s output would be.
This power is the ultimate copy cat power. Any skill, any technique, anything I see, I will be able to replicate it. Even if it seems physically impossible for me to do.
Now there is a downside, overuse would take a toll on the user, but at the same time… I won’t be using it to such extremes that Adam did. So I will be fine.
5. Rewind (my hero academia)
Tumblr media
Is this the most overpowered quirk in the series? No, but it’s up there.
Eri’s power can revert anything biological to a previous state.
You could theoretically rewind someone to non-existence. But that’s not the reason I would want it.
My main reason is theoretical immortality.
So long as I’m alive I can use the quirk, and as long as the thing is alive, I can impact it.
Imagine someone you know gets cancer. One use of the quirk and suddenly they no longer have cancer and are as strong as they were at their peak. Broken leg, instant fix to before it broke. Bullet wound? How about we rewind to before you got shot. And the best part is it stays that way.
The only downside is that Eri is young and can’t control the quirk well. I’d hone it to perfection. I would be able to stay in my physical prime until I got bored. And not just me. Anyone I care about. It’s just that easy.
4. Heaven’s Door (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure)
Tumblr media
Let me introduce to you the most broken stand in all of Jojo’s.
Yes, even more broken then Gold experience Requiem or Wonder of U. Or even Made in Heaven.
I say this because this stand could make you IMMUNE to them.
How? Simply use the ability to write in yourself that you are immune, or get the user at the jump to tell them their ability can’t target them. Now the only argument is that requiem could reverse it but my theory is that the requiem only works to give an ability the user needs at the time. But that’s speculation.
ANYWAY, even if it wasn’t as good, it is still the best ability. Mind wipe, hypnotic suggestions positive and negative. You can write that you speak Italian and BAM! You speak Italian. The only reason it’s not seen as broken is because Rohan doesn’t use it right. You can remove or read memories. It even works on ghosts.
It is the best self improvement tool. And it can help others too.
3. Spiral Power (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann)
Tumblr media
Row Row Fight the Power!
The most OP energy power in anime.
Allow me to explain,
The only thing the user needs is Double helix DNA, and they can access spiral power.
To put it simply, Spiral power is Evolution.
Spiral Power has both infinite potential and applications - it has been known to regenerate and grow new parts on machines to a universal and multiversal scale, and even create tunnels through space-time.
Spiral power even allows for Physical growth and improvement. Showing intellectual growth, and showing how in seven years the human race went from cave dwellers to capable of space travel. Plus lordgenome was able to live for 1000+ years after discovering its power and was able to FIGHT a mech in his human form! He said his robot was holding him back so catch these hands
Spiral power is shown to be strong enough to REVIVE the dead! Kamina was resurrected using it briefly. But it’s only Simon and Leeron that reject it as bringing back the dead would only stop things moving forward.
Spiral power allowed a mole rat to evolve into a human. Spiral power allowed the group to fight a GALAXY SIZED evil being that was so strong he could manipulate all the energy of their universe to fight against them.
Spiral powers only downside is that apparently there is something called the spiral nemesis. Which is said to be the apocalypse because apparently too much spiral power is a bad thing. But I call bs. Besides if it existed IRL our society would be a type 4 civilization in a matter of years. (Look it up if you don’t know what that means)
I guess another downside is you have to constantly push logic to the curve to do the impossible. But I can live with that
2. All Fiction (Medaka Box)
Tumblr media
Allow me to introduce to you, the most broken ability in all of Anime. Kumagawa Misogi’s (ALL FICTION)
Now what does this ability do?
It allows you to make something into nothing.
What does that mean?
Let’s say you shot me in the heart. Killing me. I decided nope, that didn’t happen. And I get right back up, no bullet in my chest. And you are standing there wondering Wtf just happened.
But that’s not all. Let’s say I got sick of the color blue. I can just decide Blue doesn’t exist anymore. Done. It’s over. All things that are blue changed color to reflect the fact blue doesn’t exist.
I can erase anything I want. I could erase people from existence, I could erase time. Allowing me to move instantly.
But to put it simply, it’s a minus ability that allows the user to reject reality.
The only reason the guy using it isn’t an overpowered king of everything is because he is in his own words “AN INFINITE LOSER”
The biggest downside is that All fiction, once something is erased, it can’t be brought back unless the user has another skill to counter the effect. And that’s the only reason I can’t put this at number 1. If I had the combination of All fiction and Non fiction. It would be nearly perfect.
1. Magic Materialization feat Namekian Dragon clan (Dragonball Z)
Tumblr media
I know what you’re all thinking. Why this power? You had reality manipulating powers? You had teleportation? Why would you pick something so mundane?
Well I direct you to the (Feat Namekian Dragon clan)
Nameks can use magic to create anything they imagine. Including Dragonballs. While it says they need to be dragon clan. Id say that’s an easy pick.
I can create dragon balls, and then use the dragon balls however I please. I could wish to be stronger. I could wish for the powers of previous abilities listed. I can upgrade my dragon just by adding water.
The Namekian dragon balls have no limit on resurrections and amount of people by end of Z. In the manga they’ve even been show to grant the user the power to be the strongest in the universe!
Basically the power to wish for nearly anything. Easy number 1

Heya decided to post this here because why not. I've tried something different for the talking. Gonna be honest I don't think people will even see it.
This story was created by this prompt :
https://reddit.com/r/humansarespaceorcs/s/GphKF1B4LS
The room was bustling with activity as the different species were talking, a Dhor was yelling religious litanies about how the Drakanis were unspeakable being wich ooze and tar mixture of a body should be destroyed at all cost and that they were starting to strangely congregate into a bountiful system, it falled into deaf ears as always.
In the other side of the circular room, a Scadani was trying to find a way to get onto the council chair, she wasn't a miniscule speice but was kind of a shortstack, for comparison in humains height she was falling at half, her oval head compensating for about mid ribs but taking that off it was more near the hip area, the chair wasn't a challenge just not really adapted for her voluptuous form, not having hands to push you up and no foot to help for balance it was tricky to get on, after three tries the gray alien finally sit on the beige chair, this long and arduous task made a Calienté snicker, it's sleek black and long body having no trouble with the sitting device, she looked at her with lighting in her oval eye, her three retinas focused on her as she looked away, today was a special day for the Federation, they were accepting humanity within their diplomatic fold.
«Excuse me miss? Can we sit here?»
Looking at her right two humans were there, one had a prestigious and colorful eye-catching attire akin to princes of old as for the female a simple but formal black attire, she was doing what they called smiling, a joyful and kind gesture in their culture...so it would seem.
"Oh of course, the places aren't chosen yet, we had multiple members joining and well it created some organizations problem. I'm Shivi from the Scadani hive mind diplomatic corps your the two human representatives, as you see, life was bountiful into the stars."
Say the short lady as she showed the myriad of colored species of all sort and sizes, a metallic pot would come in a small hovering device, it's red veiny leaves encased into glass, it's membranes started glowing as a sign of welcoming to the newcomers
«Indeed, there must be at least 300 people here? " And we thought we were alone.»
Say the male as he waved at the plant, the light dimmed and the people calmed themselves, at the center of the three round of tables was a big holographic globe, it's blue light emanating from it, the symbol of the federation lighted itself up, a Recaloq would prepare himself to talk, it's feathered velociraptor look made the human whisper enthusiastically as the gray lady smiled to this excitement.
"Ahem...humblgre...Hello greetings! My name is Haznka. As you know, the mission of the federation was to keep the peace, my predecessor failed to keep it...so...nhenh ahem so I will do my best to preserve it, this last war devastated a whole system, were not barbarians anymore and...what did I wanted to say ah yes the multicultural specie act loobies by smaller species for better visibility and accessibility has been vetoed by the Shakans and various anonymous species...nyes..."
This caused outrage into many seats as smaller species have been trying to pass this act into a law for quite some time, the elderly raptor would calm the audience raising his arms.
"I will now invite the Shakan representative to explain himself."
A humanoid man would walk down towards the podium, the female human leaned in to Shivi's ear... wherever it was.
«Is it an armor he's wearing? It looks weird with all these points.»
She turned her head, whispering too putting a hand on the side of her small triangular mouth.
"It's his skeleton on-top it's his helmet, the Shakans are a proud specie of warriors skilled at the blade which they never have far but...a bit outdated in terms of ideas, ouch my head, the hive mind is also unhappy...phew she's calming them down let's hear his points. I'm afraid it'll cause more problems tho they are a bit stubborn and arrogant."
He would take the stand, looking at the crowd towards him before addressing them in a stern and cold voice, for the humains the Shakani accent sounded like old japanese...well an alien version at least.
-<Sheikām! I will be direct, we feel that this law is unworthy and we do not feel honored to have a seat with weaker species, we proved the last predecessor that his philosophy of acceptance was useless but alas...he did not listen! This is outrageous! We will keep vetoing laws that are useless towards the betterment of this federation, only the strong species should vote, what good would a mouse society apport to the federation‽
The Geinu representative brushed its ears and gave multiple angry steps to prove his discontent towards this speech as a giant humanoid, his head encased in a semi sphere of metal, looked at the small critter.
Or even sentient plants they cannot move on their own! >-
The potted plant created various hues of red as its small screen wrote : anger, discomfort, bonehead.
The Shakan continued nevertheless, even more riled up, his first shaking as the lates of his decorative armor shook making cliquetics noises.
-<This is ridiculous if I am to keep being here and keep talking about these reasons I might as well end it in this very room once and for all!>-
While he was riling up the shorter species an older man arrived, its long white beard sign of wisdom or just old age would come behind the two humans as the two were obviously angry, the older man had a relaxed demeanor.
«Are there any ways to prove him wrong?»
The two jumped so did the Scadani, the older gentleman laughed at his little prank, at closer look, he had some smaller species on his shoulders and a pouliko following him.
«Mister Huan Fen your late! It's our first meeting with everyone you can't go around with...uhh...can he look where he's going?»
Said the female as it was clear that pouliko was already dead evolutionary, its gouging eyes looking straight forward as if there was nothing, its long feathered neck trying to support a slightly bigger head, it looked like a chicken mixed with a giraffe but with a lot of bad traits.
«mh... surviving that's the essential. Also huhuhu I had much fun meeting the people creating said law we're discussing, they worked extremely hard to even enter the federation and they approached me to require some aid. From what I remember, the one talking on the stand is a Shakan, yes? They seem to respect might a lot more than ingenuity, a bit blinded by pride that's unfortunate ha ha!»
The old man smiled as he let the smaller alien races that were on it's shoulders get to the table, they would go around the potted plant as it write: Friends. Mister Fen would then go down the aisle his arms behind his back.
«Ahem Excuse me, what would that law affect you? It seem more basic civility to help others besides pushing against a law that should be an easy pass, for example more accessibility for chairs or a simple lever, we could even create a subsection to accommodate, I'm sure this gentleman wouldn't mind to not have to be careful about his steps.»
Say the older man pointing to the giant as he nodded, the Geinu was still enraged, yelling in its dialect and swinging in the air to the amusement of the taller humanoid.
The Shakan was taken aback a bit but straightened his pose.
-<Ah you're the humain representative, your speice have a long history of war. I respect that but you need to understand that most of these smaller races didn't even build ships, they mostly ferry around in others taking up space, only the plant over there created spaceships and again what can they even bring to the Federation? Surely no defense pact or anything practical of the sort we shouldn't have accepted any of them if they can't even be helpful nor should we try to elevate them! I'm talking to you lizard face!>-
Say the armored alien pointing to a Xichi representative, its long arthropod figure rises up as its frills would grow in anger as he spoke in a formal but angered tone.
"How dare you disrespect the heavenly kingdom of the stars! We have the right to elevate who we wants it is our heavenly sacred duty and-"
«enough! Enough you've made your point. But still it seems it's a dysfunctional federation here. We are all different, sure this plant cannot best you in combat but they excel in medical and older technologies, the Geinu helped demine some sectors, it's not always might or war prowess that can help keeping peace, especially when your the one creating war isn't it true?»
The Shakan shivered, it seemed Huan had touched a sensible point to him, his pride, the elderly raptor had been a bit useless in this debate, due to it's old age his mind had been wandering all this time he had been looking blankly at the exchange before finally snapping out of it.
"Ahem! That's all? I'm sure we can resolve this at a later date, we have a big schedule and-"
Some cries erupted in the audience as the Shakan had a hand on his sword, visibly not happy to lose face and being publicly humiliated he had stepped down from the podium, walking towards the old man, stopping at a reasonable distance.
-<That's enough! I will not be disrespected by someone defending mices and plants I want a duel>-
Hanzka let out a gasp before trying to appease the situation.
"Now now, no need for violence, we are civilized."
Huan laughed a bit as the head of the chamber stopped his talking, a bit taken aback too.
«If it's a fight to pass a law I don't mind, I'll even do it without hurting you or at least nothing too major.»
Said the gray haired man as he would go into a fighting position the Shakan scoff but did his formal gesture for combat, taking his scabbard in his hand, going into a fighting position as well.
-<A fight to pass a law, I like your thinking sir. If I win I'll pass embargo laws against anyone i deem weaker than my people.>-
«If I win, you'll have to pass the law and apologize for your attitude...or not, at times like this nothing is certain.»
The two would start to circle around, gauging each other, the white armor the Shakan let out a yell and, in an instant it's scabbard got deflected and he was already losing his footing, he would roll and get back on his feet, while the human had this damn smile, he couldn't draw his sword as his opponent did not had a weapon.
-<this dose seem unfair, I have a weapon and you don't.>-
Relaxing his pose, Huan smirked a bit before smiling, looking at his opponent as he put his hands behind his back.
«It is now? I let mine on the ship, how about we fight equally?»
The Shakani taught for a bit but his pride was clouding his judgment as a lower official, he needed any win he could achieve, an honorable one was much more rewarding than drawing his sword.
-<very well>-
Putting his sheathed sword delicately on the side he would get back into the circle.
«I reckon I can stop this fight in three seconds, whenever your ready.»
This was the last straw for the Shakan, in a rage he propulsed himself upward, doing a flip to then quickly put his leg down towards the old bearded man, the humain admired his martial form before blocking it, extending his hand and made him flip as he fell on the ground stomach first in a loud noise.
The smaller aliens cheered of joy as the law was passed and the Shakan pride taught a good lesson of cause consequences.
The end, not as cool as I wanted, but I had a lot of fun doing it!))
Wanna see a starring list xD Raptor as Mitch McConnell guy was in his own world half the time.))
This was done in two days, kinda proud of myself.))

Some additional headcanons for Abraxasverse Mecha-Ghidorah, regarding its abilities and design with the nanometal:
(1) Nanite storms: Mechaghidorah can generate massive typhoons of self-replicating, Grey Goo nanometal-bots which eat away at everything in the affected area. This probably means that for Godzilla and Co, getting close to MG is like wading through a swarm of angry, gnawing flying fire-ants, although Titans like them can probably last against the swarm longer than anything else in its path but they still have to be careful not to be exposed for too long.
Tumblr media
(2) Forming weapons: Mecha-Ghidorah can use the shapeshifting properties of the nanometal that's fused into their bodies to form weapons, like the metal capture cables or tentacles, and maybe mimicries of the Maser blasters. The Desghidorah!Ren head's advanced technical knowledge probably also does nothing but help Mecha-Ghidorah to know how to engineer more effective and deadly weapons from their body.
(3) Nanometal head armour - the OG incarnation's robot head: As Mechaghidorah, the heads have metal plates and linings of the nanometal infused through all three of them which can act as armour, and they can shift and manipulate it. They can either distribute a limited amount of cybernetic armour among all three heads equally which leaves them half-armoured, or they can shift the majority of two heads' nanometal armour (i.e., the side heads') into the third head (i.e., the middle head) so that the third head is completely armoured in nanometal at the cost of the other two heads being unarmoured and almost fully organic. Kinda like how Abraxasverse Keizer Ghidorah could adapt, shift and mould the Many parts of its body to look more or less like the OG incarnation.
These are some pretty good ideas... and actually, kinda fortuitous how these headcanons center around an AbraxasVerse Mecha-King Ghidorah, because I'm just remembering an ask regarding a MonsterVerse take on the character!
Tumblr media
So in a roundabout way that answers that... and if the center head's the one with Ren's duplicated consciousness, then the fact that this Mecha-Ghidorah can fully armor the center head has a layer of cruelty to it as well. Rendorah's head is being protected, yes, but it's also another means of denying him freedom...

Hero Artifact: Anne Boonchuy
Full Hero Artifact Masterpost/Description here
I did Luz Noceda, now time for the girl from the other popular western Isekai show going on at the time.
For a character from a show whose whole main message is "Accepting Change", I figured her artifact shouldn't have a set form. It is a glob of mystical water that can form various shapes, paying homage to the wetland nature of Amphibia, the snowy region of the Second Temple where the Blue Calamity Gem of Heart was recharged, and the Calamity Energy constructs.
To go with the "accepting change" lesson, the artifact can never stay in one form for long and will change shape whether Anne likes it or not, forcing her to adapt. With Focus, Anne can keep it in a certain form but that just makes it difficult for the artifact to shift out of that form. There is a sort of balancing act to it. Yes, you need to accept change in life, but sometimes you must also stand your ground and be firm in your beliefs when that change is something bogus. Do you surrender to life's current or do you stand rigid and unchanging in your worldview?
I took the Lotus design from one of Anne's shirts with the Amphibia frog foot symbol to give it some extra detail and made them colors that not only match the symbols but also vaguely reference Sasha and Marcy (I don't have a good enough dark pink). This could just be colors that reference them due to their close bond, or it could be remnants of the Full Calamity Power. The artifact makes it so the form is more like the higher levels of Super Saiyan where only prolonged usage of the full power would result in her demise, and it can be trained to minimize the risk.
Of course, some constructs I came up with were a barrier, a sword, her tennis racket (with some cat-Tennis balls), the Mantis Scythe, and I also recently found out about this Thai movie on Netflix called The Legend of Muay Thai and from the YouTube video I found the MC gains this cool asymmetrical armor set, so I thought that would be cool to give to Anne as not only do we know she did Muay Thai but the asymmetrical armor also could reference her losing a shoe. She can also just fire energy from it Storm Release style.
Some other abilities could include healing, connecting to minds via empathy, and long-range communications via reflective surfaces, to keep the Heart part in mind.
