The Ghost and Molly McGee: Libby X Andrea (Fancomic)

The Complete Chapter I

It took me around two months to complete the first chapter out of nine I have planned for this story.

This has been my first real attempt at doing a comic by myself and I still have a lot to learn and figure out. But I am determined to finish this story as planned, though it will take some time.

If you like this project so far, please like my posts, follow this page and feel free to share my comic outside of Tumblr (as long as you credit me, of course).

I do fan art in the hope to entertain and enhappify the people of this community, so every response to my work is more than welcome!

For the following days/ week(s) I would like to dedicate time to my art work to figure out my art style a little more. I have no idea where this will take me, but if I keep at it, you should see the results in due time!

Your Phinbella art is absolutely precious!

I'm gonna try to post more Phinbella myself.

Earlier, I posted a long post about how Mollibby (Molly & Libby) is so similar to Phinbella.

I don't think they tried to make those two similar to them, but it's WILD!

Thank you so much for your kind words. X3 I can't wait to see more Phinabella content from you - and whatever content you make, cuz I just absolutely love your compilation posts~.

I saw that post! Personally, I see Molly and Libby as friends and stuff, but I can definitely see the appeal to that ship as well as the parallels to Phinabella. Their chemistry, platonic or otherwise, is very plain to see, though it did take a little bit for me to personally see it. It definitely makes more sense than Molly/that girl whose face needs to make out with the pavement floor before she even considers an actual relationship.

Yes, her. Burn her and her generic clothing, what kinda mean girl wears a sweater? (I still say her hair is a ghost...)

Honestly, I wasn't big on Libby at first - it's like Libby said, she's an acquired taste of sorts, but she's definitely grown on me. I'm very glad that they didn't immediately become friends in "First Day", because...I'mma be real, I didn't like ANYONE in that episode beyond Molly and Scratch. Sure, Libby was being nice to Molly, so she's a stretch better, but she played along with Molly's miserable day, so, like...didn't really earn any brownie points there.

Somehow, "Talent Show" really made me attach to her character - like, I didn't expect to tear up at her poetry slam, but I did, and I've liked her ever since, and somehow she's become a more charming individual, like the writers finally found their footing with her character at that exact moment. Libby's more than just a shy wallflower, she's very eccentric and likes to learn stuff and uncover mysteries and she's just - she's just really neat. A great balancing point for Molly's exuberance, and even Scratch's...Scratchiness. Their friendship warms my heart and soul, and I'm glad I finally gave her a chance eventually because now I can't imagine the show without her and Molly's relationship.
