What's your favorite Doctor Doom design and why?
Doctor Doom art by Andrea Divito
The Classic Doom design is so perfect, so amazing, that I honestly can't put anything above it. I LOVE the God Emperor Doom look, and I adore other varations when it's his Classic look but jazzed up with extra intricate details on his armor. However the Classic look is the only look I will never get tired of. Ever. It needs to have the gold clasps with gold chain, the gun/holster, and the tunic needs to be mid thigh or higher, do not cover his man's armored thighs anymore than that or I will riot. This specific art has my favorite shade of green for Doom, but also I really like when they make it a cross between olive & hunter green, but I hate when it's a bright shade of green.
Alex Maleev did some great artwork with Doom and these are a couple of my favorites. I love when Victor is featured with a sword.
Doom needs to have that Archaic Knight vibe because it's his Aesthetic but also Victor is a Knight in (technically advanced) shining armor for the people of Latveria. He's a protector of his lands and people, and a warrior king. Which is something I love about his character. Also I love when his hood is used ro shield his face/mask, so all you see is his eyes glowing. Some artists make the hood too small and I don't like that. Another thing I love is when artists put that furred cloak on his shoulders for his cape.
