@gallacrafts and @galladrabbles aligned perfectly this week.

For my @gallacrafts for Theme 27 was Smokey Shamey, and originally I wanted to make a smudge or smoke bomb, but I couldn't find the supplies, then I thought, smoked MEATS which led to a charcuterie board!

So we have some smoked gouda, smoked turkey, smoked ham, smoked provolone, and other charcuterie items.

And for this week's @galladrabbles the prompt was from our amazing mods; @energievie and @look-i-love-u based on a beautiful artwork from @suzy-queued for our second anniversary!

“When did you have time for this?” Ian asked looking at the charcuterie board that Mickey had made and brought to the roof with the blanket and other picnickery things.

Mickey smirked, “Tami and I were wine drunk scrolling tiktok, she ended up on sourdough starter-tok and I ended on charcuterie-tok.”

“Are these, roses?” Ian asked, looking at the smoked ham and turkey.

“Meat flowers yes.” Mickey grabbed a slice of smoked gouda and popped it in his mouth.

Ian snorted, “Think that’s what I’m gonna start calling your-”

“Shut the fuck up and watch the sunset with me asshole.”

Happy Escher Girls 12th Anniversary!

It's the 12th anniversary of Escher Girls*!  I can't believe it's been so long. o_o

Anyway, I had to find this image again while I was restoring the post it was in, and it's such a classic from the early days of the blog, that I figured I'd post it again for the anniversary, so people who weren't around back in the early years can see it.

Apparently, we need to be more careful around funhouse mirrors because the warped images inside can come out to attack us. o_o

6 years ago today, I posted the final chapter of (Never) Turn Your Back to the Sea.

It's hard to believe how time flies. Every year around this time I get a little sentimental for this story, which was a heartfelt response to S4 (and an incredible FTH prompt from @thetimemoves).

Thanks so much to everyone who has read, left kudos, commented, bookmarked, reread (something that still blows my mind!) this story over the years. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. <3

I joined Tumblr one year ago, I joined Drarry fandom exactly one year ago 😱 A lot happened during that year and I wanted to write those littles words to thank everybody who's followed me during that time!

First of all, here my first very fic !😱 I joined @drarrymicrofic fandom and wrote this messy little fic one year ago, not knowing it will be the first of many ✨ Thank you for all the rebloggs and amazing comments, I love them preciously ❤️✨

Secondly, I want to thank @cluelesspigeons for pushing me to try writing for the fandom 👀 Whitout you, I wouldn't have so much joy writing again. Look where I am now thanks to you 😌

//Happy 4 years (and a week) to the AskAlexMinecraft blog! Sorry that I was that week late, I had a very busy weekend last week. And I'm sorry I haven't been posting, I've had a very busy life as well. I've been making a buffer so that I don't just drop one new post and never show up again. It's going pretty well! Feel free to keep sending asks, they make me smile.

Pictures of the Minecon 2017 skins this comic is based on and the story of this piece are below the cut!

This post's creation has about 15 different stories to it, but the most relevant one is that I made the original sketches a year ago as a warm up. I wanted to draw a bunch of the alt skins for Alex, cause I loved those as a kid. I ended up finding these odd minecon 2017 skins on the wiki and got a real kick out of them.

They were removed from the wiki soon after, leaving me 50 ways to confused.

I had to dig around to find any info on them, only got the final answers today. Mojang released a skin pack before Minecon Earth 2017 and these were in them.

WHY DO THEY HAVE EARS

And WHY DO THEY LOOK LIKE THAT

I genuinely don't know why these outfits were on there in the first place, and I'm even more confused at to why they were removed. But who knows? It made for a good mini comic.

Anywho, I managed to solve the mystery. I hope this is actually funny and not just me giggling to myself with an unfunny joke for a whole year. Thank you guys for sticking with me and thank you to you newcomers! You guys make this so worth it.
