Look, this question's been rolling around in m head for years and I finally need to ask b'coz you know how I am. So has Ol' Spooky ever been in the room where Ozai and Ursa where getting down and dirty doing the horizontal, or vertical? If so, how many times has it happened? And did Ozai just forget he was there in the heat of the moment? Or did he find some weird joy in having an audience? And would that make Spooky either an unwilling victim of their coupling, or a willingly perverted voyeur?

If there's one thing that can be said about you... you ALWAYS find a way to make me laugh my ass off, my friend. Thank you. Very much.

Honestly? Ozai would most certianly not even remember Seethus existed whenever he got it on with the wife 😂 it's not chance that Seethus seems to fade in importance for Ozai once he marries Ursa and starts his family. The naughty/nasty prince is not only busy making babies by then, but actually thinking about stuff outside of his political advancement for a while :') a total novelty for him, of course. This, of course, means that, if it happened, Ozai had absolutely no idea. I'm not 100% sure if Ozai would be too horrified if he learned that Seethus spied on them in such moments, but he probably wouldn't take it very well. On one hand, his ego would demand that he's smug about his performance! On another, his irrational side absolutely would rear up and he would rage at Seethus for seeing Ursa in her birthday suit?? Soooo... yeah. Anyone who wants to be their voyeur prooobably ought to think twice of it 🤣 not a healthy life choice, no sir...

... Hence, I can vouch for Seethus's, uh, integrity?? (should I use that word when I'm talking about this guy?? 🤣🤣) And say that not only is he not interested in spying in such things, but if he ever had been hanging around Ozai and sensed the ~vibes~ were getting too naughty he would've slipped out the window immediately and given his prince proper privacy 😂 If he was stuck in the room with them and couldn't get out for whatever reason? He'd definitely be more unwilling victim than pervy voyeur, for sure.

I know, probably not the fun answer you would've hoped for, but as much as our amusement would like for it to be otherwise... Seethus has basically zero interest in sexual matters. As things stand, his only actual interest in any such things is solely related to figuring out if Azula actually made a baby with Sokka or not! Beyond that, he's happy enough to go watch the stars while the weirdos in the Royal Family get it on with whoever they want to, has been that way since he started serving Ozai and it will be that way until the end of time.

... Again, though, thank you for the laughs 🤣 that was a good one...

Favorite example of Edelwanking in the Fódlan games?

Mine still has to be Seteth saying that she must be a kind and trusting leader because her troops were willing to die to protect her, meaning they all liked her on a personal level; this is despite the fact that Seteth should also know that Adrestia is currently a hell-hole where anyone who isn't in the army is starving and being tortured by Thales, which is a much more likely reason for her troops to not be willing to disobey orders than loyalty.

Seteth saying this when, as the player, we know Baldo'n'Waldi were fielded is just completely bonkers and really one of the lowest points for him, but that can be written off with "everyone has to hold the idiot plot ball at some point, else the player cannot drink Hresvelg Gray".

Imo the worst still comes from VW!Billy lol, with the uwu choice "I don't want to kill Supreme Leader" and "Can't we walk with Supreme Leader?" when, at this point, Billy's concerned about Rhea's safety, didn't interact with her more than they did with Dimitri and Bernie, trounced BL students scot free in Gronder because Claude has myopia and either killed Bernie or witnessed her being flamed, the entire schtick with Flamey and Jerry, Baldo'n'Waldi, etc etc.

Nopes!Dimitri takes a hit too, iirc at some point he mentions he doesn't disagree with her reforms (but disagrees with her methods?) but what are even her reforms? Random Joes being able to climb "dah ladder" and become something else than randoms? Get rid of corrupt noble? Can someone tell me why Waldemar'n'Leopold are still here - nobles so corrupt that they betrayed their Ionius for ~reasons~ and now kneel in front of his daughter for ~reasons~ (Tru Piss reveals Leopold governs over Leicester!).

Heck, Barney is still a nobody - despite being an OP random - but Leopold is a general and the Minister of War, and he gives his heirloom to... his son, and not to Barney who showed more merits and has more achievments than Nopes!Caspar.

Honorable mention to Rhea's "maybe the war was my fault" in the worst support -> the game will not tell us what she was doing during those 5 years (that's why I jokingly say she had zumba classes for 5 years in Enbarr's finest resort) but it sure spends even one octet having her taking the blame for, well, Supreme Leader's war and even suggesting those actions can be "justified" by Rhea's own actions...

These latest chapters have been pure brilliance. Azula stealing Rei was also really funny. Azula should someday invent the Avatar world's version of Child Protective Services, I know its not quite the same thing here, but near enough. I'd fallen behind so reading all the latest chapies in two sittings was a pleasure. I even had to remember I had a legit account here, I almost messaged as an anon again. Well, now for one of my usual random questions. What's your top 5 favorite OCs to write?

X'D glad you've enjoyed the chaos! While Part 3 starts out in such a heavy way, I feel like it hits its stride pretty quickly (probably because I really didn't want to drag out the hopeless misery any longer than necessary...). Rei provided a wonderful change of pace in Azula's story, the impact she's had on Azula is always lots of fun to write, and the development of that bond never fails to make me happy. I went out of my way to make a meme about it, some time ago...

Azula creating a Child Protective Services system sounds like something no one in the world would imagine Azula would do, not even Azula herself... and yet it sounds like a legitimate possibility as things stand x'D

As for your question... favorite OCs? Ooh boy...

Well, I think Rei would be #1 right now. She's just gold without even knowing it. I don't know how she won over my heart as fast as she did, but she just did. That's her secret superpower, I suspect. She's a really good remedy for all the hardships we've been dealing with, and giving Azula another unique bond with a character is always great <3

Xin Long is probably #2, though writing him as of late makes my heart hurt for obvious reasons... but he was always crazy fun to write. Writing his draconic monologues cracked me up every time, he's wonderfully chaotic and straightforward, writing this dork was always gratifying.

Might be sad that he'd be so low, but our #3 is Rui Shi... oh, Rui Shi. Don't we all miss our good man Rui Shi. *wipes tear*

I'll bestow #4 to Kino and I hope he takes the spot with pride, he's really fun to write too. It can be tricky sometimes to choose what to do with him, I really don't want Kino to feel redundant, or too comic relief, but we'll give him more chances to shine in the future for sure. He's great at easing up many heavy atmospheres, gotta love our reckless Fire Nation army deserter for that.

... I'm gonna go on an impulsive one right now and give an answer that might sound really weird right now to close up my top 5: my #5 is Anorak. Yep. That's who. Why? I think it will become clear relatively soon... though not too soon. To be 100% honest, I didn't even think I'd care about this character remotely as much as I've grown to... but a plot twist I devised for him recently has changed things, big time. I have a surprisingly large soft spot in my heart for this guy, crazy as it might be.

As for runner-ups... I feel bad for leaving him out of a top 5, but Renkai probably would have been right after Anorak, at least! The Priestess of the Flames is also an important one to mention because, as much as she's not a character we've seen often... she's basically one of my old OCs from my original stories, repurposed for Gladiator xD so I have a soft spot for her too and always enjoy writing her. I also reeeeally love Mei Xun, she's a very interesting character to work with. Naturally, all of Azula's guards deserve credit here, they're such a loveable group even though I didn't really set out with the intent of making them loveable x'D Seethus is also quite interesting to write, but unfortunately Ozai isn't giving him enough material to work with lately. More things to begrudge him for, I guess (?)

Imo, in GW, Clout is playing on levels after levels of PR (like an onion!), and this "let's kill Rhea so the war will stop" is imo a PR excuse to justify invading Faerghus and getting Rhea out of the board.

Now, why the hateboner for Rhea herself, your guess is as good as mine (at least Supreme Leader has her "negative views based on Rhea's race", but I don't know it that's any better...).

Claude isn't stupid (uh...) and knows Fodlan created the locket and the Officers Academy to fight back invasions of Almyra, and yet he seems to really believe (in FE16 at least) that Rhea is the reason why Fodlan apparently doesn't like foreigners, before discovering water is wet.

Worst reading, but one I can get behind, is Claude doesn't understand and resents the fact that Rhea, who is not a head of state, is listened to and loved by the randoms in Fodlan, she can influence them (only when they want to be infuenced though!) and the CoS, as an institution, is part of Fodlan's history and DNA/backbone.

If Claude wants to shatter everything to bring a "new age" where Fodlan will welcome with open arms their very friendly Almyran neighbours, Rhea has to be "shattered" too.

Take VW's ending :

Country, faith, history... All that had once formed the order of the world was wiped clean. The heroes whose very hands saved Fódlan from a dark fate commenced with the building of a new society. The leaders of this new, unified Fódlan began their walk down a seemingly endless path—one towards a world that would cherish differences in race and belief, one where all life would be valued equally. Those leaders clung to the hope that their path would not end with Fódlan, that it would someday span the seas to Dagda, and beyond the Throat to Almyra...

You get rid of the old and existing society/structure, to build a new one, based on lofty ideals, sure, and yet, again, how can you cherish differences in beliefs in you wipe Fodlan's faith, aka the thing people believed in? What about their history and individualities/differences ? It's wiped clean too?

A bit like Tru Piss's mistranslated ending where people thought it will erase retroactively Faerghus from history books, are we supposed to understand , from this ending, that Claude will erase Adrestia, Faerghus and Leicester from memory?

And the ominous last paragraph, what does it mean, they hope to export their path of "wiping clean" the world of "country, faith, history" too?

If we take this reading, Rhea and the CoS are inherent parts of Fodlan's identity and History. If Claude wants a blank chessboard to play "melting pot" with and ultimately add it to his future pot including Almyra, Dagda and whoever else, Rhea and the CoS, but also, the different states from Fodlan, had to disappear. Supreme Leader helped him with the "get rid of 3 states" and arguably with Rhea's death, so in a way, Claude reaps what Supreme Leader started.

But not to MAGA, to create a new land encompassing everyone (whether they want it or not!) and being one of its heads.

This is, imo, the darkest take/reading on Claude's situation and plans, but bear in mind yellow units in FE Jugdral (the game tool inspiration from Jugdral per the devs!) are antagonists, add to that Nopes and even FE16's Claude who, albeit not on the level of Supreme Leader, keeps his plans to himself - and always mentions tearing down the "walls" that separate Fodlan from the outside world, without ever mentionning the fact those walls were built for some reason.

It's not important anyways, and if you think otherwise, it's because you were led to think otherwise, we should all be friends.

Sure, interacting with outsiders doesn't contradicts Seiros's tenets, but in the end, what is Claude saying?

If I can realize my dream, Fódlan will be reborn. The old age will end and we'll welcome a new dawn.

The current Fodlan, that is supposed to follow Seiros's tenets will... end? Seiros' tenets says something, but they still need to be ignored to build a new world that will promote the same thing those tenets preached.

Hm.

The issue, imo, isn't about what is being preached, but with the "Seiros tenets" in themselves.
