I remember praying and asking God to meet someone that would love me at my weight. Someone that would look past me being overweight and love me for me.. but not only that.. someone that would (when the time came) encourage me in pursuing my weight loss goals. Not once has my boyfriend looked at me and disgustingly told me I need to lose weight. Not once has he made me feel like I was less of a person for struggling with food and my weight etc.. My past on the other hand has definitely made things difficult.. telling me because I'm overweight I am unattractive to him and that he would never want to be with me physically (after marriage of course).. that I would never be good enough. It's been a struggle.. but my boyfriend has been nothing but loving. He's let's me be me.. is patient with me, loves me where I'm at and encourages me through the process. Tonight I shared some weight loss progress with him.. tonight he told me he was VERY proud of me (to be honest he's told me he's proud of me on other occasions for different reasons). The last couple of days I've just really noticed how encouraging he has been to me through this process.. and I realized.. he is an answer to prayer.. and I am so in love with him.. but God for blessing me with him.

God is so good!

Up until a few months ago, I had car insurance through Geico. I was their customer for years never had any issues. Things changed when I moved to Florida. To sum up what happened: Back in January, Geico hit me with a $535 dollar bill out of the blue. My 6-month contract with them had just come to term, and they said the price they'd quoted me back when I got the policy was accidentally too low, and for the whole six months they didn't charge me enough, and so I needed to pay up. I told them (politely) to pound sand. I'd paid every cent of the agreed upon amount, all payments were in full and on time. They said I owed them the money anyway. I refused to pay it. Fast forward a month, and I get a letter from a collection agency (no surprise). Geico wants $535 dollars.

I took the situation to the Lord in prayer. It was unjust, but should I just pay it? It would set us back with other bills, but I didn't want my credit to take a hit. I decided to report it to the Better Business Bureau and just pray and see what happens.

Two days ago, an executive from Geico called me, apologized for the whole thing, withdrew the charge and cleared everything up with the collection agency.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who hears and answers the prayers of His people! Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who makes us right with God!

First, thank-you for your prayers the other night- by God's grace, our patient was well enough to go on the ambulance with a basic crew, so our clinic remained well staffed yesterday

Second- I'm planning to work on my resumé tomorrow and apply for a job closer to the parish I've become connected to (yay!) but...I still don't know for sure what kind of job to apply for. Can you please pray that the Lord guide me down the path that best serves Him? Thank-you so much
